Chapter Seven
After many days of traveling in a slow pace the group arrived at the village, the four people including the pig were going to enter the village when Anbu appeared before them.
An Anbu with purple air stepped forward, "we were commanded to guide you to the tower" the feminine voice said politely. Tsunade nodded as the leader of the group and followed, walking quickly the group arrived at the tower and now stood in front of the Hokages office.
The Anbu woman nocked on the door until she heard 'come in' from the inside, opening the door she let her followers enter. Hiruzen Saratobi smiled upon seeing two of his students at once once again, "I see you have accepted the offer Tsunade" he said with a goofy smile.
Tsunade just nodded, "yes don't worry I'll be leader so you can go back into retirement" she said with some annoyance. The third Hokage dropped his head, "I deserve it... if it makes you feel better, Naruto here gave me the secret to getting rid of paper work" he whined in the beginning.
Hearing this Tsunade and Jiraiya looked at Naruto with wide eyes, "h-how!? minato had it but it died with him!" said the surprised Jiraiya to the Uzumaki. The pre-teen just shrugged, "Shadow clone Jutsu, remember?" he said with a slight roll of his eyes.
'he always forgets that is my specialization' he thought dejected. The Toad sage just face palmed, "of course" he muttered. The oldest man in the room coughed in his hand which caught everyone's attention, "now that that is over with I have three things left to do as Hokage" he said with a serious face.
Everyone listened closely, "the first thing I will do is congratulate you Chunin Uzumaki for your performance in the exams and short war along with Shikamaru Nara who was promoted earlier today" he said happily while giving him his new flack jacket.
All the adults including the Anbu in the room smiled at the new Chunin who had tears of happiness, 'it looks like I actually won't be a Genin forever' he thought with a smile.
Saratobi smiled but then became serious for what he was going to say, "Anbu out!" he commanded. Seeing the Anbu leave he gave Naruto a sad smile, "now that you are Chunin I can finally tell you about your parent".
Jiraiya who knew about Naruto's parentage eyes became wide while Tsunade and Shizune were confused, Naruto on the other hand had an unreadable expression.
"I already know, you don't need to tell me" he said while looking at them with no expression. The three older adults eyes became wide while Shizune and her pig were confused, "how do you know?" asked the serious Saratobi in worry thinking there might be a leak while Jiraiya was doing the same.
The youngest blonde just pointed at his stomach, "they actually put some of their chakra into the seal, it aloud us to talk with each other though for not long" he said a little disappointed.
The two older men eyes were wide until they nodded in understanding, "Minato always finds a way to surprise us" said the white-haired man that got the other man to nod in agreement.
"alright then, I guess the last thing I have to do as Hokage..." everyone was on the edge of their seats waiting for what he would say. After a couple of minutes he smiled, "Tsunade Senju, I name you as the fifth Hokage".
Later
Walking in front of a familiar green door after coming from the Hokage tower, Naruto knocked. The door opened to reveal a red head who was rubbing her eyes, finishing rubbing them she looked to see a familiar face.
"NARUTO!!!" shouted the girl in excitement. The blonde Uzumaki smiled genuinely, "it's been a short while, how are you doing Karin?" he asked while walking in.
"hmm... I've been fine, though I have been having weird interactions with that Hyuga girl" she said while making some tea with a slight scowl. "oh... what happened?" he asked very curiously on what happened.
Flash Back
"so what do you recommend Ino? Sakura?" asked Karin for their opinions on what romance manga she should read. Ino and Sakura were in deep thought until they came with a conclusion, "Please Don't Bully Me, Nagatoro!, Angel Beats/Heavens Door!" replied the two at the same time.
The redhead looked at the two and saw that they were under the category fantasy, sci-fi, and romance. "oh, is it like those fantasy mangas with things about those schools in that country Japan that doesn't exist?".
Ino and Sakura nodded until Ino had a thought, "why did everyone choose to make up a country and choose it to be fantasy?". Her friends shrugged, "it is what it is".
The trio were going to walk to the counter to pay when a familiar voice was heard, the blonde and pink-haired girl were surprised since they knew this person was very shy but had just called out to them in confidence.
Turning around the trio saw Hinata narrowing her eyes at Karin, the trio were confused on why she was doing that until two of them had wide eyes.
Having resolve Hinata raised her hand and pointed at the Uzumaki, "I don't know what he sees in you but I won't lose to you! now you're my rival!" and quickly left without any else saying a thing.
Ino and Sakura had wise eyes while Karin was confused, "what was that about?" asked the redhead which made the sigh and help pay.
End Of Flash Back
Naruto sighed, 'troublesome' he thought while sipping his tea. Finishing the rest of it he looked up at Karin who was finishing making food which she was making while talking about the encounter.
The blonde got up and proceeded to set the food on the table, finishing he sat down with Karin. Naruto quickly took a bite and froze, the redhead became nervous until she saw him look directly at her intently.
After a moment of intense staring he spoke in a serious joking way, "will you marry me". Hearing that sentence she froze and started to gain a slight blush that fully turned into a huge blush that made her whole face red, "BAKA!!!".

modern is considered fantasy in this universe, also how many of you cried watching angel beats? that was honestly the first show I have ever cried from. I'm starting Nagatoro so I guess good luck to me.
Sorry with late chapters, I have been looking for part time jobs recently and had little time to make a Chapter.
It's my birthday so now I have reached adulthood starting today, that's right now I can vote or what ever.
