Chapter Eight
Waking up, Naruto got dressed and went to the kitchen. Walking towards it he could smell cooked fish and seasoned rice, he got very excited and ran with a smile. Karin who was still cooking turned and saw the blonde smiling at her, "hi Naruto! you can go sit down, all I have to do is set the food on the table" she said with the same smile.
The sapphire eye boy nodded and sat down at the table, waiting he looked at the clock which read twelve thirty pm. Seeing the time he then looked inside his kunai pouch and started playing with a kunai inside of it.
After a couple of minutes she arrived and set the food down, he smiled brightly at her and took a pair of chop sticks then started eating it when she gave the okay.
One day he forgot to wait which ultimately caused him to have a noticeable bump for a couple of days, so now he make sure he waits everyday.
Ceasing that memory he continued to eat in the comfortable silence until there was a loud knock,"*sigh* I'll get it Karin, you can continue to eat" said the cheese-haired boy with a smile.
Getting up he walked towards the front door, opening the door it revealed to be Shikamaru. He blinked but waved hello, "so... is there something you want? because I have lunch to eat".
"troublesome, there is an emergency mission that I'm leading, go and get ready" commanded the tired Nara to the blonde.
The Uzumaki just nodded but had another thought, "what's the mission?" he asked out loud curiously. Shikamaru just sighed, "troublesome blondes, we have to retrieve Sasuke Uchiha who went AWOL" he muttered in the beginning.
Naruto just frowned and went back towards the kitchen, arriving he looked at Karin. "hey I have a mission, I'll be back in a day" he said while going into his room.
Said girl followed him and stopped at his door way, "alright but make sure you come back safe or I'll resurrect you and kill you myself" she finished standing in the door way with a scary sweet smile.
Nodding quickly he put on his vest and scrolls quickly, he then walked over and gave her a hug, "don't worry I'll come back alive" he said with a smile. Feeling the embrace the girl turned the same shade as her hair and looked down, "good, I'll see you later... Naruto" she said a little worried.
The blonde Uzumaki gave her a grin and walked away, Karin looked at him from behind and saw him taking off. Turning around she closed his door and walked to her room until she sat down on her bed, 'now lets see what this Boruto manga is' she thought while pulling out the comic.
Later
'Everything has gone as it had, now all I need to figure out is what i should do with Sasuke' thought the annoyed Uzumaki. He was in conflict with his mind and heart, one side was telling him to kill the Uchiha to stop the reincarnation cycle but another was telling him to keep him alive and change him.
He was trying to figure out on what he should do until he caught site of the person in his thoughts, not knowing what to do now he decided to figure it out when he was beating him.
Chasing the rogue Uchiha, Naruto attempted to grab his target when a white blur swiped at him. The Uzumaki quickly jumped back with a slight slash on his chest, wincing he looked to see a man with a sword made of bone.
Taking two kunai's out he got into his stance, the sapphired eye boy remembered this man clearly though he needed to keep up appearance. "may I ask who you are?" he asked while taking a glance at Sasuke who was watching.
The man had an expressionless face until he got back into his stance, "my name is Kimimaro Kaguya, and I'll be your executioner".
The duo looked at each other for what seemed like an eternity until a leaf fell to the ground between them, Kimimaro rushed at the blonde.
Naruto blocked a slash from his opponent and tried to counter it, freeing his left hand while holding his block with his right he slashed at the mans eyes but missed and instead made a cut on his nose.
Jumping back he took a breath and rushed back in battle against his opponent, stepping to his right from a stab he jumped back and made a series of hand seals.
Completing the short series he shouted on the top of his lungs, "FIRE STYLE: GREAT FIRE BALL JUTSU". A great ball of fire was shot at the man whose eyes grew but then narrowed, he mad a few hand seals and created a mud wall.
The sapphired eye boys Jutsu collided at the Kaguyas wall and was kept in place until it eventually dispersed after breaking the wall, a smoke screen was covering the area of his opponent until he got annoyed.
Creating another series of hand seals he said, "Wind Style: Great Breakthrough". At the end of his sentence a great wave of wind crashed into his opponent's side and cleared out the smoke, once all the smoke was gone he saw the man wincing from his left arm.
Naruto was about to go in for another attack when he felt a familiar mini chakra signature, stopping he looked to his right to see Rock Lee.
"YOSH, WHAT YOUTH YOU HAVE NARUTO-KUN!!! DON'T WORRY I'LL TAKE HIM ON! GO FIND YOUR TEAMMATE!!!" shouted the excited Taijutsu boy.
The blonde could only nod and took off, kimimaro threw a mini bone sword at the escaping preteen but for it to be blocked my the boy with thick eyebrows, "sorry but your fight is with me".
The running Uzumaki winced while he was running with a thought, 'at least I weaken him out for bushy brows, I can't say the same for my other teammates'.
Running through the forest he sighed, 'it always has to be that place'. Sensing his opponents position he ran.
Arriving towards the valley the Uzumaki saw a waterfall with a river coming out between two statues, one was of Madara Uchiha and the other Hashirama Senju.
Slowing down he saw Sasuke in the middle of the river with narrowed eyes, "... why have you come Naruto" he finished annoyed. The cheese-haired boy just shook his head, "are you really leaving so you can kill your brother?".
"OF COURSE DOBE! I'm the one who will restore my clans honor after his death!" he said calmly at the end as he turned on his Sharingan. Looking at his fallen friend for revenge he could only sigh, 'you'll only feel more betrayed if i told you the tru-' his thoughts were cut off when he felt a stab through his back.
Looking down at his stomach he saw the familiar sword, Kusanagi. 'CRAP I LET MY GUARD DOWN!!!' he thought in panic. The man behind him took his sword out and disappeared in a swirl of leaves until he reappeared next to Sasuke, Naruto coughed up blood and glared at the two hatefully while gripping his wound.
"... h-h *coughs out blood, h-how d-did y-you g-get be-hind me wi-thout me n-noticing?" he said with pain. The Sannin could only chuckle and look at the Chunin who was in pain, "you sensors all ways have problems with people dealing with seals".
Hearing this his eyes became wide, 'DAMN IT!!! okay calm down you are only strong enough to hold the two down for a short while in this condition, but how should I do it?' he thought while looking at his adversaries.
Taking a sloopy stance he readied his Kunai, his two opponents smirked and took their own stance as well. The Uzumaki narrowed his eyes and took off, running at Jonin level speeds he managed to kick Sasuke away.
He then made a slash at the pedophile which made him back up, summoning a clone from behind his opponent it created a Rasengan that it sent at Orochimaru.
The Jutsu was met on its mark until its wielder realized he hit a mud clone, the shadow clones eye widen and quickly turned around to block Orochimaru but was stabbed by his sword and dispelled.
Naruto winced and unleashed four adamantine chains at the Pedophile while using another two to block the curse mark level one Sasuke, three of the four chains managed to wrap around the snake master which made said man panic.
Feeling his chakra quickly leaving his body he opened his mouth wide and out came the pedo, leaving that body he looked at Naruto angrily while feeling at least a third of his chakra gone.
With Sasuke he had both of his wrists captured, the young boy also started to feel his chakra leave. Not knowing what to do he panicked and unleashed the second stage of the curse mark, the cheese-haired boy eyes grew at this familiar feeling.
'WHY DOES HE HAVE NATURAL CHAKRA!!! MY BODY CAN'T HANDLE IT YET!!!' he thought in panic. He looked at his chains that started to turn into stone and cut his chakra off quickly, after releasing the Jutsu he quickly checked his body and sighed in relief for no stone was on his body.
The Chunin was about to get in another fighting stance when he swayed where he stood, 'DAMN I LOST TO MUCH BLOOD!!!' he thought tiredly. Orochimaru and Sasuke saw his sway and were about take that time to unleash an attack, but before they could move Kakashi Hateke and a squad of Anbu appeared.
Seeing the reinforcements the two backed away, "kukuku Kakashi-kun, it looks like we will see each other again but until then" he finished while leaving in a puff of smoke with his future apprentice.
Kakashi frowned under his mask and turned to his still conscious student, "so how did you get injured like that?" he asked curiously to Naruto who just glared a little playfully.
"a sneak attack..." answered the blonde while looking away. The silver-haired Jonin raised his visible eyebrow, "do you think Karin will like that answer?".
Hearing that the Chunin paled but shook it off, "don't worry I told her 'don't worry I'll come back alive', I never promised uninjured".
Later
"NARUTO!!! THAT WASN'T WHAT I MET!!!" shouted an angry redhead while holding up a smoking fist. The sapphired eye boy had a large lump on his head the size of a baseball, he glanced up while rubbing his new injury.
"alright I'm sorry, after this... wanna sneak away and eat Ichiraku's ramen?" he asked with a smile. At the end of that sentence the two's stomach grumbled, but before anyone could say anything Tsunade and Jiraiya walked in.
Tsunade gave a hard stare to the two and frowned, "no leaving the hospital yet brat". Naruto just pouted and looked away, "it's not my fault the hospital doesn't give good food, *sigh* but how may I help you granny?".
Tsunade rolled her eyes and let Jiraiya step forward, "alright brat we're going on a three year training trip, we need you to be strong so we can defeat the Akatsuki" he said seriously.
The Chunin sighed but nodded, "yeah those people are strong, but what happens if they attack us during our trip?" he asked curiously. The pervert nodded and thought for a minute until he had a good idea, "I'll train you in mount myoboku, that way no one can interfere in your training".
The cheese-haired boy nodded, "alright but when will we leave?". "we'll leave in a week" the super pervert said after looking at his apprentices companion.
Naruto looked grateful at the two leaving grownups and turned to see a sad Karin, "whats wrong Karin?". She looked at him with her head down and shook her head, "you'll be gone for three years, so what will I be doing?".
He looked her a little guilty but had a good idea, "how about I go ask granny to teach you? would you like to learn about being a doctor?".
She looked thoughtful for a minute and was going to answer when the door opened to reveal Ino, Shikamaru, Tenten, and Hinata.
"oh hey guys how have you been?" he asked while looking at some of there gifts. The group then proceeded to answer each other's questions until they decided to give him their gifts.
Shikamaru and Ino gave Naruto the standard flowers and get well cards which made him smile at them, "thank you guys for the flowers, I'll make sure to find a nice spot for them".
He turned to Tenten who got closer and brought out a scroll, "come on open it! it's something I made recently and hope you make good use of it!" she said excitedly while giving him the item.
Putting the scroll on his lap he inputted a small amount of chakra that caused smoke to appear, when it finally cleared it revealed to be a red and black Ninjato.
Looking at the scabbard it was all black except for the center where a red swirl was, changing his view to the hilt he saw that it was the same as the scabbard.
Opening it he pulled the Ninjato out of the scabbard to show the upper part of the metal was pure black while the bottom was stainless steel, he smiled and turned to the gifter.
"thank you Tenten, it is a very impressive sword. I will learn how to wield it and then we can spar when I come back" he said excitedly.
She smiled happily and stepped back for Hinata, said girl stepped forward with a huge pot. Naruto looked at it very curiously until she opened it to reveal Ramen, when he saw the food of the gods his mouth drooled and thanked her profusely.
As he was getting a bowl he didn't notice what was happening with Her and Karin, Hinata looked at her with a smirk. 'everyone knows the best way to a mans heart is food, so I win this round' she thought while continuing her smirk.
Karin looked at her like she read her mind and glared at her, this caused sparks to fly between the two. Naruto was eating with indifference while his friends were afraid on what will happen, the two girls noticed the object of their affection turning so they quickly smiled.
Not seeing anything wrong he went back eating while the two resumed their anger, the people in the room watching could only sweat drop and leave.

How was this Chapter? I think it came out good but a little rushed at the end. I have nothing else to say but have a good week :)
