Chapter nine
"come on Naruto! you said you'd spend the rest of the day with me!!!" called out an exasperated Karin. Naruto was deciding on if he should shave off his whiskers when the red head marched into the bathroom and dragged him out, "alright alright I'm coming, just let me get my wallet".
She looked at him with narrowed eyes but let go of him and turned around, "and guys say we take too long" she muttered to her self.
The Male Uzumaki quickly left towards his room and quickly came back, looking at his hand Karin saw a toad wallet. She giggled which made him look at her with a raised eyebrow, "what?".
Finishing her giggling she composed her self and gave a smile, "I'm sorry its just that you always act like an adult and seeing that reminds me you're still a kid like me".
Pouting he crossed his arms and turned his head side ways, "I'm not an old man yet, but I guess you have a point" he said while scratching his cheek with his index finger at the end.
Sighing he walked towards the front door, stopping he looked back with a smile. "soooo, are you coming slow poke?", she returned the smile and followed after him.
Walking down a street the two saw many stores, Naruto looked at Karin who was staring at a fox plush with a longing look. Smiling he created a clone secretly, facing forward he spotted a sweets store.
"do you want any sweets?". Looking at the blonde she took a thoughtful look until she nodded, "yes please!".
With a smile he nodded in confirmation and walked towards the shop, opening the door for Karin the two arrived inside to see many assortments.
There was Harsheys, Cit-Cats, NN's, Socky, and Buvalín. (think of these as off brand candy, the first three are American, fourth is Japanese, and the fifth one is usually Mexican).Naruto picked the Socky and Buvalín while Karin took the Harsheys, taking them to the cash register he payed and walked out with her.
The two then started having many discussions like why do dogs pick up sticks, was there a point for them to do it so they started to do it naturally?.
The whole day the two smiled and laughed at each other's antics until they saw the time of day, the sun was starting to set while sitting on the Hokage monument.
Seeing Karin watching the sunset Naruto quickly got his clone to get close and give him the fox, taking it he had it facing in her field of vision.
Karin was watching the setting sun until she saw a fox, blinking she took a closer look and saw that it was the fox plush that she wanted.
Grabbing it she hugged it closer and looked at her companion, "thank you Naruto". He smiled with a nod while facing the falling sun, she saw how majestic he looked with the orange suns color on him and smiled.
Right before the sunset she kissed his cheek, feeling the kiss he turned to her and smiled.
Four figures stood at the gates of Konoha, it was that of Tsunade, Jiraiya, Karin, and Naruto.
"come on Naruto, it's time" said the older man. Sighing he turned to the sad redhead, "it's alright Karin, we'll see each othet again".
She nodded, "I know, but wh-" she was cut off from a poke from her forehead. "don't worry, I guarantee you that I will come back, but in the mean time you just have to wait".
She sighed and nodded, seeing the defeated look he grabbed her shoulder and gave her a kiss. She stiffened but returned it, hearing a perverted giggle he stopped and looked at his teacher to only see him being punched by Tsunade.
Grabbing his Sensei he smiled awkwardly and waway with his godfather, Karin looked at his leaving figure from the Konoha gates and smiled, 'I hope to see you again... Naruto'.
I'm sorry for it being short, I wrote about 2 thousand words but it didn't save so I just gave the short version after I forgot how I wanted it to go, and yes this also happened with Pain too.
Sorry its been a little while, I have went camping with my family. During that time we have been robbed by raccoons, the heat also turned to the hundreds though a good thing was my moms boyfriend proposed.A bad and good time but either way I hope you enjoyed and have a good day :)
