A/N: We are (hopefully) right on schedule! It's Wednesday and the first of December, and the first chapter is already herrreee. Wednesday is my upload day, or at least I try to do every Wednesday, if I only do once a week updates. Before I was better at it and posted like midnight to Thursday (CET), but now it will maybe be more like evening Wed, morning Thur just because I'm planning on starting to sleep at night.

This is gonna be a short fic, but a cute fic. 4 chapters, or 5, I'm not sure, but not more, (I think). Maybe stretch it to six if I have to. But I kinda don't wanna, so we'll see. Of course, this isn't at all planned, because of course it's not, it's still me, I don't plan anything ever.

Also, it's been like a few years since I was in New York last so hopefully, I remember most of it correctly if not. I'm sorry, get over it.

Price of some sort to whoever, who, somehow, can find the apartment I'm basing this on and tell me the price it is currently on the marked for. I will die if anyone finds it because like bruh xD.

Like every other morning, Wanda found herself lost in one of the big rooms in the Avengers compound. To be fair she had actually slept to 6 am this morning, which honestly was quite good to be her. But now she was currently sitting in one of the huge windows of one of the living rooms, leaning against the cold window frame holding her mug of lavender tea tightly between her hands.

The sun was starting to rise. She could see it over the trees. Peaking over the horizon making the sky light up in a beautiful orange. She both hated and loved mornings like this. She didn't like being awake this early because of her stupid nightmares, or restless sleep. but she loved the early morning suns, and how the sunrises always seemed to be the prettiest on the nights that had felt harder than normal.

Something in the window caught her attention. A reflection she hadn't noticed earlier. Two green eyes were looking at her, quickly moving to meet her eyes in the reflection when Wanda finally noticed them.

She turned around to Natasha with a small smile, looking at her mentor with a small grimace.

"How long have you been standing there?" Wanda said slowly looking at the woman in front of her.

Natasha gave her the smile Wanda had so desperately fallen for. The smile where Natasha would tilt her head to the right ever so slightly, eyes shining, with the corner of her mouth moving, giving her the cutest expression Wanda had ever seen.

Every time Wanda saw that smile, she felt her heart leap. Every time. It was like it was flying out of her chest giving her a warm feeling in her chest.

"A while," Natasha answered sweetly back, making Wanda groan loudly back. Great. So much for being aware of her surroundings, right.

Natasha had pulled her hair into a tight French braid, resting the end over her shoulder. She only had a pair of tights on and a sports bra. Which even for Natasha's standard was very little clothing. It was giving Wanda this perfect view of her ridiculous toned stomach.

"Were you training?" Wanda asked, trying very hard to keep her eyes on Natasha's face and not lower them anymore.

"Yeah, just finished. I usually don't feel like putting on a shirt for the first workout of the day if it's only going to be me anyway." Natasha said, moving closer to Wanda's window, clearly noticing how Wanda couldn't keep her eyes under control, looking down as Natasha flexed her abs as she moved.

"And then you decided to come spy on me?" Wanda said giving her a grimace as she watched Natasha sit on the armrest of a nearby chair.

"Not quite. I was planning on going and checking up on you later, but when I went to get a glass of water, I noticed you, so I thought why not now." Natasha said looking back at her with a serious look.

"You seem a bit… restless," Natasha added, studying her closely as Wanda tried to calm down her beating heart.

Natasha had always been good at reading her. And not only her. Really anyone she ever came across. Wanda didn't know how she did it, but Natasha had her ways, effortlessly picking apart anyone she met. Which felt unfair because she had unhuman superpowers to do just that, and Natasha was still just as good as her.

"Just couldn't sleep. Lots on my mind, that's all." Wanda said casually, trying to make it not make it a bigger deal than it really was.

"Hmm okay," Natasha said, still looking at her carefully. Clearly, she didn't believe her, even if Wanda personally thought she sounded quite convincing herself.

"I... I actually came to tell you Steve and Sam aren't here this weekend. They left last night." Natasha started again slowly. She almost sounded hesitant, which was quite rare coming from Natasha. The woman had lowered her eyes away from her now, looking down at the floor as she spoke.

"Oh… where did they…" Wanda started, confused about what Natasha was even trying to say.

"They went away somewhere. I don't know if it was a mission per se. But they are not back until at least Monday morning. I thought, if you wanted, maybe we could just take the weekend off. Do something else for a change." Natasha said slowly.

Wanda stopped and looked at her. Had Natasha just suggested not to train this weekend and instead… hang out? Normally Saturdays were just normal days for Wanda. She still had a training session with Natasha. The only difference between Saturdays and weekdays was that if Natasha was feeling nice, she would let Wanda train with her powers and not only hand to hand combat or some other hell-worthy training session.

"I mean, of course, if you don't want to that's fine too. I don't mind. But I thought maybe you wanted a break. But of course, you can just spend the weekend alone if you want that as well." Natasha added quickly when Wanda didn't answer her.

"No, no I would… I would actually love that." Wanda said quickly as she watched Natasha second guess her offer. She would love to spend the weekend with Natasha. She hadn't had a two-day weekend off in forever. And she never really saw Natasha outside of their training sessions anyways.

"Great. Why don't we say I get you in about an hour?" Natasha said with a smile, pushing herself off from the chair.

"Umm yeah, sure?" Wanda said confused back. Why did Natasha want to see her already at 7 in the morning?

"Dress, like comfortable. Something you can walk in, but also looks okay. I mean we are the Avengers after all. Oh, and pack a small overnight bag too." Natasha said with a wink before quickly leaving her again before she could ask any more questions.

Wanda looked after Natasha confused. She had absolutely zero ideas what Natasha had meant with any of that, but guess she was meeting Natasha again in an hour.

She spent some time in the mirror looking at herself as she slowly brushed her hair. She had ended up dressing herself in a dark grey t-shirt, some black ripped jeans, a green jacket, and some black tennis shoes. She didn't know what appropriate clothing was since she really had no idea what Natasha was planning, nor why they were going now, at 7 in the morning.

Natasha knocked on her door 50 minutes later standing in the door with a small smirk on her lips as Wanda opened the door. She was wearing some jeans with her normal leather jacket on top, looking very smugly at her the door opened.

"Ready to go?" Natasha said, walking into the room before Wanda had time to do anything.

"I don't know because I don't know what we are doing," Wanda mumbled back, looking at her, making Natasha laugh softly as she walked around in the room looking around.

"Something fun. Come on let go, if not traffic is going to be hell." Natasha turned around again walking out of the room almost as fast as she had entered, forcing Wanda to just grab her bag with her and hurrying after her.

Natasha was leading them down to the garage. Wanda had only been there a few times. Usually, if she was ever diving anywhere, it would be one of their staff picking her up and it would always be at the back of the building and never from the garage.

The whole garage was filled with fancy-looking cars. Most of them were some sort of sports car in all kinds of colours. She could see Tony's red car. One of his many, many cars. And Pepper's favourite, the orange one.

Natasha led them over to a corner of the room, before taking out a pair of keys from her pocket. The car in front of them was a two-seater very fancy looking black sports car.

"Is it yours?" Wanda asked slowly, looking at it with awe. That car alone was probably worth more than everything Wanda had ever owned combined.

"Yup. Come on." Natasha said, moving to the other side and opening the driver side door. Part of Wanda didn't even wanna touch the handle. The car looked so ridiculously expensive it was almost scary just being close to it. But when Natasha lifted an eyebrow from inside the car Wanda forced herself to enter the car.

"Anna," Natasha said out loud as Wanda fastened the seatbelt. A red light travelled across the rim of the car roof and the dashboard lit up, including the screen between the seats.

"Yes, Ms Romanoff." A robotic voice filled the car and Wanda looked around trying to figure out where it came from.

"Darken the windows from the outside when we drive, please," Natasha said as she slowly pulled out from her packing spot, looking around carefully.

"Of course, anywhere you want me to turn on the GPS, Ms Romanoff?" The voice replied softly.

"Yes, fastest route to New York City. Empire state. Thank you" Wanda turned around looking at her surprised.

"You're taking me to New York?" Wanda whispered, looking at her with big eyes. She had only been in New York two times. One of them was when the team was moving from the Avengers Tower to the compound, and they stopped by. And another time was a pit stop, also for work. She had never gotten the time to look around in the city at all.

And now Natasha was taking her there…

"Yeah. Thought it could be nice. I have an apartment there, so we have the whole weekend. Thought we could drop everything off and then sightseeing our way around the city for the weekend." Natasha said softly, keeping an eye out the window as they drove.

Wanda just looked at her, still partly in shock about what was happening. She was going to New York with Natasha for the weekend.

Holy shit.

The drive was over four hours, but still, Wanda found driving with Natasha to be a delight. She was so easy to talk to, and not once did Wanda find herself not knowing what to say back. Natasha never really mentioned work or training while they drove, and the atmosphere in the car was light and comfortable.

As they got closer and closer to the city Wanda started to look more and more out of the window. It was completely different driving than just flying over the city. It was so much to look at everywhere. So many people, so many things.

There were tall buildings everywhere, with people and cars and bikes and horses. She didn't know where to look at all. Around every turn, there was something new to look at and it felt like her eyes were popping out of her head.

Before she knew it, they were driving down into a garage. She hadn't even been paying attention to what kind of building they were diving into before it was too late. Immediately she started to feel like she had missed so much outside of the building. And now she was even missing the actually building they just entered.

"Stark still owns a few buildings around here. They sold the Avengers tower, but the company still does a lot of business in the city, I mean, of course, it's New York. So, Pepper asked to have a smaller quarter here still, so they got another additional building to use like that. That's the building we're in now. And because unlike in the one I own in; this one actually has parking that's not the street and or not a garage with a concrete pillar every three feet." Natasha said before Wanda got the chance to ask, parking her car just a few feet's away from a lit door. Wanda just nodded back slowly as she followed Natasha's lead, stepping out of the car, grabbing her bag on the way.

Even just the garage had so much to look at. Some nice lights were placed around, giving the room a very interesting ambience. And it had so many cars. Like cool cars. Of course, the normal boring blacks were present, but she could clearly see this was a workplace for people with money and power just judging by the car selection.

Maybe she shouldn't have cared this much, but it was still so much to look at. So much she wanted to look at.

"Come on, my apartment is not far," Natasha said after letting her look around for a few seconds. She grabbed her arms carefully before leading her to the door, forcing Wanda to turn her head towards her instead.

The door, like every other Stark tech door Wanda had ever seen, had a fingerprint sensor on the door, but of course, it opened without problem when Natasha put her hand on it, opening letting them into a well-lit hall. From there they took the elevator up to the ground floor, ending up in a beautiful lobby. While it definitely was smaller than both the lobby in the compound and the old Avengers tower, it was still quite big, with people walking around everywhere.

"Good day, Ms Romanoff." Wanda turned when she heard a soft male voice to their right as they walked over the floor. Natasha stopped in her tracks as she smiled kindly to a man behind a counter before walking over to him.

"Have you talked to Pepper today?" Natasha asked softly.

"I have not. I believe Ms Potts has been in a meeting the whole day. She does however have an open appointment in about an hour if you want me to ask her to contact you?" the man said as he looked down at whatever screen he had in front of him.

"That's okay, thank you, I can just call her later myself," Natasha said with a small back. The man nodded back before nodding politely to Wanda as they walked away from the counter again.

"Pepper is in New York?" Wanda asked carefully as she looked around when they stepped out of the building.

"Mhm, she has a meeting tomorrow that's important and she wanted to do it in person rather than digitally, so she flew down last night." Natasha hummed back with a small smile as she led them around a corner before crossing the street.

As they walked, Wanda tried to take everything in. It was so many people here walking around along the streets. Not to mention all the buildings. She didn't know where to look, feeling that she was constantly missing something.

They had barely walked past three buildings before Natasha opened another big, heavy-looking door. Wanda almost gasped as they ended up in another giant lobby. It was a beautiful old-school lobby with dark marble looking pillars, shiny floors, and big ceiling lights.

Natasha only smiled at her as she nodded her towards an elevator, making sure to wait on her when Wanda stopped in front of a big picture on the wall.

Even the elevator seemed fancier. And not the tech kind of way she was used to. While it was still somewhat modern it was also more old-school elegant. With a red velvety carpet and a giant mirror on the wall with a gold plated railing around the elevator.

It felt like they were going up for ages, and Wanda watched as the floor number just got higher and higher on the small display.

"40th floor," Natasha said with a small smile as the elevator door opened and Natasha grabbed Wanda's wrist again to get her to move. They rounded a corner before Natasha fished out something that looked like a key card.

When Wanda steppe into this room she did actually gasp this time.

"Wow," Wanda whispered as she entered the beautiful apartment. Her instinct took her to the right immediately, straight into the open living room - dining area. An area filled with beautiful modern furniture everywhere. However, the furniture or the amazing chandeliers weren't what had caught her eyes. It was the two, giant, windows over central park.

They were just at one of the corners, giving her an amazing skyline on multiple sides. With all the tall buildings to her right and across on the other side, and the amazing park in the middle.

"Beautiful isn't it?" Natasha said softly in her ear, looking over Wanda's shoulder as she continued to look down at the park below them. The view was incredible. To be able to look at a skyline like this every day had to be a dream. It was a dream.

"You own this?" Wanda whispered, finally turning to look around in the apartment.

They were standing in the living and dining room. The sitting group was made up of four chairs, a couch and a lounge, all in a soft light grey. The coffee table in the middle was a four-piece, with a vase with white roses on top, immediately reminding Wanda of the roses Natasha always had on her own nightstand. All of this was sat on top of a light rug, so it was very clear the colour pallet was white and greys.

To the side of the sitting area was the dining table. A beautiful modern table made up of black, white and grey tones as well, paired with some white chairs. All beautiful modern pieces that looked both new and very expensive.

Behind Natasha was the open half-open kitchen. The kitchen was between three walls, with an open end to the dining and living room. It was made up from a beautiful light-coloured wood with black marble countertops.

"Well partly, I am co-owning it with Pepper," Natasha said calmly back as she started to walk down the hall again.

"I had an apartment, a rental in New York, as well as the one in Washington when I worked for Shield, but of course, when I started to work for the Avengers and Shield fell, I lost them. But when we moved to upper state New York, both Pepper and I were in the marked of wanting an apartment in New York as well, so we decided to buy one together. We split the cost fifty-fifty, between us. Even if she has the bigger room, it doesn't really matter." Natasha continued as she walked her down to the other side of the apartment.

"We come and go as we please. She works here a lot still, and you would be surprised how often work brings me down to the big apple. And of course, I still help Pepper if she needs me too." Natasha said before opening a door. Wanda let out another wow before stepping into a small hall. Through an open arch, she could see straight into the master bedroom. A beautiful white room with a giant bed in the middle getting lit up by another two windows.

"Obviously the master. Then we have Pepper's walk-in closet to the left again. Then the suite's bathroom, all real marble, of course, and then another walk-in closet straight ahead." Natasha said, opening the various doors to let Wanda peak in. She could see both Pepper and Natasha's small wardrobe. Both mainly containing very, very, expensive-looking dresses and shoes, as well as an assortment of bags and other accessories.

"We share most of what we have here. Since we don't move our entire wardrobe with us anyways." Natasha continued, dragging Wanda after her when she stopped by the giant bathroom door just staring into the room.

"And this is my room," Natasha said, bringing her into another beautiful bedroom. It was almost as big as the master, but this one had some more gays in it, unlike the other that had been mainly whites.

It was still an incredible looking bedroom. Even if Wanda thought Natasha suited her wooden bedroom back home better than this one.

"Obviously we will just have to share this room now that Pepper is here, but that's fine. You can just drop your bag off by the foot end if you want, and I'll go and grab a pair of sunglasses before we can go." Natasha said, already being halfway out of the room again before Wanda could answer her.

Wanda took another moment to look out of the windows of Natasha's bedroom before turning around to follow Natasha. The natural lighting in this house was insane, and even with every single light off, she felt like she could see every corner so clearly.

She found the redhead standing by the kitchen island with a glass of water in one hand, and a hologram up in front of her, hovering over the rest of the kitchen when she finally got herself out of the bedroom.

"Ready to go?" Natasha said, waving her hand over the hologram to make it disappear. Not letting the curiosity get the best of her Wanda nodded back with a smile, watching as Natasha made her way over to her.

"So, I am assuming you have some sort of Natasha Romanoff plan for the weekend? An insanely packed program or something?" Wanda said with a small smile, letting Natasha open the door for her as they left.

"Well, I thought, why don't we start where everyone starts their trip in New York, top of empire states building."
