Adrien is so happy to be able to get out of the house without anyone breathing down his neck.

Sure, he had to sneak out and wear a disguise, but it was so worth it. The sun is shining, the bustling city filled with life and no responsibilities that needed to be done. The teen can finally be a normal kid for once.

Yet, there was just one problem. He didn't know what to do, nor did he know what guys around his age did for fun. He knew regular kids would meet up and hang out with their friends. But, he didn't have or know anyone around his age.

Adrien just walked down the streets, enjoying his freedom for the time being without a destination. The blonde entered a part of the city with various shops, vending machines and fast-food restaurants. He continued on through and looking at the shops until he spotted a particular one at the side of his eye.

He backed up a little and saw a small flower shop, displaying many beautiful arrangements and bouquets. An idea popped into his head and headed inside the shop.

A bell tinkled at his entry and began to search for the right flower. An old woman is in the second isle watering some tulips. She looks over at the blonde and smiled kindly. She set her watering can down before walking over to Adrien.

"Hello, young man. Is there any particular flower you're looking for?" She asked. Adrien returned the smile.

"Uh, yeah. I was wondering if you have a rose?" He asked, nervously scratching the back of his neck.

"Oh, I see," the old woman teased, "Who's the special lady?" The blonde's face turned a shade of pink, making the woman chuckle.

"I'm kidding. Yes, we have many different kinds of roses," she said, gesturing for Adrien to follow. The blonde followed the shop keeper to the other side of the shop. She paused in front of a few shelves filled with roses of different colors, shapes and sizes.

Green eyes scanned the various roses until landing on a luscious red one. Adrien reached out and slide the flower out from the vase. He examined it before a smile spread on his lips again.

"May I have this one please?" Adrien asked, kindly. The old woman smiled and nodded. The two made their way over to the counter. The woman stepped onto a box, increasing her height enough to stand behind the counter. The blonde rummaged through his pocket and took out a couple euros, paying for the beautiful flower.

"Thank you, madam," the model said, gratefully.

"No problem, and you can call me, Marianne," the woman chirped. The two said goodbye, and Adrien left the small flower shop. He walked down the sidewalk with a giant smile while twiddling with the thornless rose in his hands.

His cell phone repeatedly buzzed, signaling him that someone is calling. Adrien slid his device out from his pocket and paled a little when seeing Natalie's phone number. He accepted the call and held the phone up to his ear.

"Hello?" Adrien spoke sheepishly into the device. He immediately yanked it away when his guardian began to yell.

"Where are you, Adrien Agreste!" Natalie hissed, heatedly.

"I-I'm coming back, right now," Adrien replied, hurriedly, "I'm only five minutes away." Natalie let out a long sigh before hanging up the phone making the blonde relax a little. He slid his phone back into his pocket before walking faster to the mansion.

He didn't want to give Natalie any more trouble than she was already given from his father. The assistant has been working her head off with all the piles and piles of work that has been thrown onto her. The last thing Adrien wanted to do is add onto that stress by worrying about him.

Adrien arrived at the gates of the Agreste Mansion and rang the doorbell. A camera popped out from the wall for a split second before retracting back into the wall. The metal gates opened with a loud squeak.

Natalie is standing at the mansion's large door with her arms crossed and a scowl on her face. The blonde felt even guiltier when seeing the bags under her eyes and stress wrinkling her face.

"Adrien Agreste, where were you?" Natalie scolded, trying not to yell at the teen. The ex-model still flinched a little when hearing a decent amount of anger in her tone. He looked down at the rose in his hand, fiddling with it in shame.

"I'm really sorry, Natalie," he apologized. The woman sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose.

"Just come inside. Supper is almost ready," she stated, turning around and entering the building. At the mention of supper, Adrien's stomach growled. He followed the woman back inside the mansion. Natalie went back to his father's office as he made his way to the dining room.

The blonde opened the door and stared at the large table with many chairs. Out of all the many chairs within this room and the long table that could fit dozens upon dozens of families, only one chair will be filled. Only one plate will be set on the table's wooden surface. Only the sound of silverware scraping up food will be heard.

There will be no one else joining him as per usual. Even before when his father wasn't doing illegal things, he would never join him for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Not even Natalie stayed very long to chat a bit. Once the food was served, she left to fulfill her other duties.

The teen walked over to the end of the table where his food was placed and sat down. He gently set down the beautiful flower on the table.

The teen began to use his spoon to roll some peas around the little space on his plate. He placed his elbow on the table and rested his head in the palm of his hand. Green eye scanned the spacious room and the empty table in front of him.

He suddenly didn't feel hungry anymore.

Marinette is such a nervous wreck, she is sweating a river as she waited for his reply. Her hands are a bit shaky and she is unable to look anywhere in Luka's direction. She felt so stupid for asking him out in the way she did.

"Seriously! Meow-vie? What was I thinking?!" Marinette thought, frantically. The bluenette was about to take back what she said until Luka spoke, "Sure, just tell me when and where. I'll check if I'm free that day so we can hang out."

Marinette's heart leaped with joy. She is falling from cloud nine and continued to free fall through the limitless air. She did it! She actually scored a date to the movies with Luka!

"R-Really?" She questioned, almost in disbelief.

"Yeah, it'd be a good way to get to know each other better," Luka replied, standing up and slinging his bag over his shoulder, "I should probably go. I'll see you Monday."

"Y-Yeah. S-See b-boo—you!" Marinette quickly corrected as the boy left her room. Once she heard the front door open and shut, the teen jumped off of her chair and squealed in joy.

She tripped in surprise when her trap door opened and a head popped in. Celine raised an eyebrow at her niece. Marinette quickly sat up and crossed her arms, smiling nervously.

"So..." Celine said then a smirk appeared on her face, making the bluenette more nervous, "He really is your boo."

Celine laughed, quickly shutting the door while dodging a nearby pillow that Marinette threw. The teen rolled her eyes but couldn't stay mad when the bubbly feeling in her stomach continued.

She can't wait!
