Warning: Mentions of domestic violence (that didn't even happened but it was mentioned)

Eren huffed on the passenger seat. Eyebrows knitted, lips pouting, arms crossed defensively on his chest and his green eyes were shifting from aqua-green to golden brown.

Levi sighed and turned up the AC of the car, hoping that it would chill the raging Alpha out.

"Eren," Levi started, forcing his voice to be gentle.

"Ugh," Eren groaned and turned to look away from the raven Omega.

It took Levi's everything to suppress a sigh. He's as frustrated as Eren but for a different reason. They were parked outside the clinic where they spend an hour of physical therapy.

Eren was excited at first when Levi mentioned getting physical therapy for crutches. He was so in for it that he was jumping on his seat during the car ride. Eren was very nice to his therapist when they arrived, he was listening obediently.

But after he tried for the third time, Eren lost his patience, locked everyone out, and decided to speed up the process. He was cursing and growling like a feral dog every time he struggled to take a step. But his therapist and Levi let him go when they noticed that Eren was improving on his own. They gave him some space. Until the brunette thought that's he's ready to move with working with a crutch. Only then Levi stepped into his view and stopped him.

"Eren, that's enough," Levi gently placed his hand on the brunette's shoulder.

"No, I'm almost there," Eren reasoned with a frustrated huff.

"Eren," Levi tried again and blocked his way. "You've been doing this for an hour and a half now."

Eren finally stopped, he snapped his head up and stared at Levi with wide eyes. "What?"

Levi sighed, he pulled his handkerchief in his back pocket and wipe the beads of sweat on the brunette Alpha's forehead. "That's enough for today. You did well with two crutches," he tried to lighten up the mood but Eren didn't buy it.

"No, I can still do this," Eren shook his head.

"Eren, listen," Levi held the Alpha's face with both hands. "Stop."

"What?" Eren looked at him like Levi just grew two heads.

"This is enough. We can do this again next week," Levi pushed. He stared into those beautiful green eyes and saw the blaze in them.

It was clear that Eren's not liking the idea of ending their session. He pursed his lips and averted his gaze from the Omega.

Levi took a step back. Eren was mad at him alright but at least the brunette was still listening to him.

And that led them here in Levi's car and Eren giving him the silent treatment.

"Eren, darling," Levi tried again. "You did great today. I'm proud of you."

"I can still do it," Eren huffed, eyes glued on the window as he stared into the empty parking.

"I know you can," Levi reached for his hand but Eren shooed him off.

The raven tried so hard not to scold Eren the idiot, the jerk, the bastard, or any bullshit title that would fit the brunette right now. To the raven's defense, Eren was currently acting like a child that wanted nothing but his own way, not caring about his health and the people that cared about him. A real pain in the ass and Levi's frustrated because he couldn't even punch the little shit.

"Then you shouldn't have stopped me," He blamed Levi as if it was his wife's fault that he couldn't have any progress in his physical therapy.

Levi gritting his teeth. He wanted to get mad but that would burn more wood on Eren's fire. If Levi was a bad agent, he would punch the brunette square on the face until he lost consciousness and once Eren wakes up, Levi would just pretend nothing happened. Or maybe he'll tell the brunette that he fell and hit his head when he was practicing with his crutches.

But no, Levi's not a bad agent and he won't add another injury in Eren's files. Also, Hange and Kenny would kill him.

What would a typical wife do in this situation? Levi could cook him a meal to cheer him up or buy him something he really likes. But Levi needed something more powerful to grab Eren's attention and put off the obvious rage that the brunette shit was holding right now.

Levi shifted on his seat, then an idea came to him. He should really thank Hange this time after she forced him to sit and watched those stupid dramas after a mission.

The raven blinked several times, thinking back at the day when he discovered that his boyfriend was an asshole. Levi's still bitter about it and sadness were still there but he's no longer wailing like a pig and cried like a child. But it did coax him to sniff and water his eyes.

His scent changes gradually and when his sobs reached Eren's ears, the brunette snapped his neck towards him. His eyes were green now and they widen like saucers as he stared at Levi.

"Levi?"

Levi wiped his eyes and pretended that he wasn't crying or the fact that his heart still ached when he tried to remember that day. It still hurts. And Levi hated it.

"It's nothing. Let's go home," Levi fiddled with the keys and purposely dropped them. He let out a heavy sigh.

"Levi," Eren reached for his hand. His expression was soft and full of concern. Gone was the angry, childish jerk and was no replaced with a worrywart husband. He looked down at Levi's hand with guilt.

"I was worried about you Eren," Levi said between sniffs. "You shouldn't push yourself too hard or you'll get hurt again."

"But Levi... I just wanted to be better again..." Eren reasoned with a deep frown.

"We've got all the time in the world. There's no rush."

"I know! But... I wanted to get better soon so I could help you in the house," Eren exclaimed.

"Eren, I could handle the chores quite well-"

"I know! I know!" the brunette interrupted. "But I don't like seeing your work and do chores as well, and then, taking care of me. If I could master walking in crutches, I could make you tea, take Captain on walks, and do some of the dishes!"

Levi pursed his lips. It was sweet that that's the reason why Eren wanted to push beyond his limits during his therapy session but that didn't answer the raven's question.

"Then why were you mad at me when I stopped you?"

Eren paused and stared at him. Lost. "I... I didn't mean to get mad at you... I was... I was..."

Because you're a psychopath with anger issues. Levi finished in his head. Eren certainly didn't know the answer and Levi didn't want him to dig deeper, so the raven leans across the console and wrapped the Alpha in his embrace.

Eren was hesitant to reciprocate, maybe he's still lost as to why he was angry at his wife in the first place but he eventually, returned Levi's embrace.

Levi parked the car in the garage and proceeded to remove his seat belt. The ride back home was uneventful. Eren was silent and deep in thought but every time Levi checked on him throughout the ride, he answered the raven that he was just thinking.

Levi reached to open the driver's door when Eren spoke.

"Levi?"

The raven dropped his hand and faced the brunette. "Yes?"

Eren looked like he was constipated. He was shifting on his seat and it took him a few seconds to raise his chin and gazed into Levi's eyes.

"I'm worried..."

"About what?" Levi asked gently.

"Do I have some anger problems?" Eren stared at him with big eyes full of fear.

Levi's breath hitched. He didn't expect that Eren would ask about that or even noticed it. Apparently, the brunette was monitoring his own behavior, Levi underestimated that one.

When the raven took so long to reply. Eren deflated. "Have I..." he gulped. "I have hit you before?"

Another question that Levi had no idea what to say. But it did make sense because he pulled the crying card on the brunette earlier, maybe it was a bad idea? Thinking back and picturing the scene it did look like that there's more to it when he cried when Eren was fuming and ignoring him.

Levi weighed the pros and cons if he said yes or no. But He didn't have the time when Eren spoke again.

"Please," he pleaded. "Please tell me the truth."

The truth? The truth was that Eren's a crazy bastard that kills several people for enjoyment. But did he hit Levi? No, because they never fought before or come face to face. Levi did meet his sister, though.

Levi decided to bite the bullet. Maybe this would help Eren sort out his own emotions, especially his anger.

"Yes."

Eren's expression shifted in horror. He turned to face front and stared into the dark walls of the garage. He removed his hand on Levi's and rested it on his thigh.

"But it was in the past. We're newlyweds, we got into an argument, things get heated pretty quickly. I was lost with my anger, both of us actually."

Eren didn't say anything. He slumps on his seat, shoulders dropping and his eyes started watering.

"It happened once. But we managed to fix it and I forgave you," Levi explained as he leaned forward to cup Eren's face and guided the brunette to face him. "I forgive you," he repeated.

Eren burst into tears. "I'm sorry," he cried. "I'm so sorry."

Levi hushed him and lean across the console to comfort him. Eren was weeping as he took off his seat belt and wrapped the raven in his embrace.

"I'm so sorry!" Eren chanted as he cries on Levi's shoulder.

Levi stared at the walls of the garage, he was patting Eren's back as he listened to the brunette Alpha's string of apologies.

Eren was holding him tightly but gently at the same time and Levi felt every 'I'm sorrys' that the brunette chanted. Feeling his guilt in the car as he unconsciously gives off his scent.

Levi would have found this suffocating with Eren's scent filling the car, the uncomfortable position they were on, and prolonged proximity with Eren's embrace.

But he didn't. Levi rested his cheek on Eren's shoulder. Closing his eyes, he relished the Alpha's scent, his warmth in his embrace, and endless promises that Eren would never raise his hand or voice on him, ever again.

It was enough that Levi forgot about the pain when he recalled his ex.
