Levi covered his mouth with the back of his hand as he yawned. Yesterday, Eren bonded with him, had a little bit of a panic attack but thankfully everything was settled.

The only thing that Levi was sure that he was not pregnant. He didn't feel pregnant but he heard it would take him two weeks to tell if he was carrying a pup in his body. He's still not sure what exactly to do if he did have Eren's kid. The kid had nothing to do with all this mess and Levi would love them still.

And his mother would rejoice at the news, she's been wanting to have a grandkid but she didn't voice it out so Levi won't feel pressured. But of course, the raven knew his mother too well.

Walking to the kitchen, Levi went to make himself some tea. His first day as a bonded Omega felt normal. Levi admitted he felt great. Eren was kissing his feet. The brunette prepared him an amazing breakfast, then, it was followed by lunch and some extra pampering until nightfall.

Levi felt like a queen. He gave up scolding Eren from walking around, the brunette Alpha was getting good with his crutches it was nice to see his progress and how it made him happy. And with the bond, Levi felt the taller male's joy.

Eren did get a little handsy and Levi could trace a thread of being horny in the bond but the Alpha's main goal was to make sure the raven Omega was taking care of.

Levi wasn't complaining or pushing the brunette's Alpha away, he felt like Eren's touch was soothing his inner instincts and made him sit back and relax. And it was nice to know and feel that Eren truly loved him... A bit too much, but it's still nice. Levi did felt in the bond that the brunette would kill anyone who dared to touch a strand of hair on Levi's head.

But Levi shrugged it off. It was understandable, Alphan instincts would certainly act up like that after a fresh bonding.

His first night was full of cuddles, Captain joined in the bedroom for the first time and played next to Levi. It seems like the German Shepard sensed that the smaller male needed more help than Eren.

With the warmth of his Alpha and fluffiness of a dog next to him, Levi slept peacefully, straight eight hours of much-needed sleep.

Blue-stormy struggled to stay open, Levi figured he needed some sunlight to keep his system going, have his mind active, and for once not think about going back to bed with his dog and mate. He reached out to open the small window in the kitchen when a long, brown face pop out of the bushes.

Levi screamed.

From the moment the scream of fear from his Omega reached his ears, Eren's emerald-green eyes shot open and quickly turned in a shade of honey-gold. His instincts raised in action and he could see was red.

Omega. Someone hurt his Omega.

It was all a blur and all that could Eren feel was the fast beating of his heart. His canines sharpen as a growl passed his lips. His hands instinctively reached in his back like his hands were expecting to grab something, crank and then shoot whoever dares to hurt his Omega.

Whoever hurt his Omega would pay. They would all pay! Eren promised to exterminate them all! Exterminate! Exterminate!

"Eren!"

Eren blinked. Levi's voice was like the light pulling him out of the red that he was seeing. It felt like an angel came to save him.

It took him a few moments to get his mind to focus and see everything around him. His honey-gold eyes shifted back to pools of normal green as he started to see clearly.

And the first thing he saw was...

"A horse?" Eren gapped.

There was a horse outside and now sticking his head in the kitchen window. The huge beast was looking at him like Eren was some type of cougar or mountain lion that was ready to pounce at him. When Eren didn't move, the horse started backing away from the window and galloped away from their house and to the quiet street of the subdivision.

"Eren?"

Eren blinked once again and turned his attention to his mate.

Levi was standing on the corner, hands up to his chest with his palms facing the brunette. He stared at Eren like how the horse stared at him.

A sudden wash of guilt and fear made the brunette worry. He didn't want to scare his mate, never in his life wanted to do that to Levi. He would kill himself first if he hurt or scare him. He was just going to protect his mate.

"I-I heard you scream, so I thought-" He tried to explain.

"Um, it's okay. I understand. Just... put the knife away first."

Emerald-green eyes widened like saucers when he looked down at his hand and found what Levi was talking about right there. He was clutching at the kitchen knife with so much force his knuckles were turning white.

He gasped and dropped the knife on the floor as it had burned him.

"Eren," Levi whispered.

He looked up and saw how Levi's face shifted to confusion.

"You're standing," Levi whispered. Alarmed.

Eren blinked again and looked at himself. Yes, he was standing on his own, with no crutch and no counter to support his weight. He's standing- then, he felt like he was being shot on his leg.

"Argh!" He groaned and collapsed on the floor with the agonizing pain on his leg.

"Eren!" Levi rushed to the fallen Alpha and scooted the brunette in his arms. Then he noticed the blood on the floor and now staining his pajamas.

"Shit!" he hissed. He stood and gently let the brunette sit against the kitchen's counters before picking up the knife, throwing it in the sink, and running towards the bathroom where he kept his first aid.

He came back to Eren and started working on the cut on the brunette's hand. The brunette must have got the cut from the knife but as for Eren's sudden ability to stand with a broken leg, Levi had no idea. Even when he looked up in the bond, it didn't help because the brunette was genuinely as confused as him.

"Levi," Eren whined in pain. "It hurts, my leg."

"Shhh, it's okay. I'll call an ambulance," Levi finished tending his cut before dashing to the bedroom to get his phone.

He snatched his phone on the bedside table and dialed the ambulance, thankfully they got a special number for an instant request for an ambulance since they were a special case.

When Levi was about to left the room, he noticed Captain was awake and didn't move an inch in the bed. The German Shepard looked... terrified?

Shaking his head, he'll go back to the dog later. First, he needed to get Eren to the hospital.
