"I fucking hate this," Jean gritted his teeth as he brisked walked through the bustling hallway of the hospital while carrying two large bouquets of sunflowers.

He had an awful start with his morning. Kenny fucking Ackerman called him while he was arranging flowers in the shop. The old Alpha was shouting in panic, telling him that he lost the horse that Marco got him. Jean was pissed because one, he didn't care a single fuck, it was Kenny's fault for not looking after the beast or simply tie it down. And two, how the fuck did Kenny got his number?! Jean had to get a new phone and a new number!

Not to mention, Kenny had been going in and out of the main house like he was part of the family. It was irritating to see him morning, noon and night. And all he did was annoy everyone in the main house. Mikasa was in killer mode all the time, Armin was terrified and the rest of the gang were at the edge. While Grisha, the poor old Alpha was sobbing in his office for half a day.

The main house was a mess and it was all Eren's fault. Jean wanted nothing more than to kick his ass and beat him to the pulp. What was his idiot friend thinking?! Bonding with an Omega? And not just any Omega, but Levi fucking Ackerman?!

Jean's irritation must have shown through his scent because he was cornered by a nervous nurse.

"I'm sorry, I just can't find room 104," Jean reasoned and forced a smile.

"Oh, it's down the hallway," the nurse pointed. "Please, keep your scent down or take some scent blockers. You're stressing the patients."

"Thank you, I'll leave quickly after I deliver this. I apologize," Jean bowed and continued with his journey to room 104.

His eyes landed on the numbers that hanged on the door and finally, he arrived at his destination. Before he knocked, Jean fixed the two bouquets in his hands. Meticulously arranging the sunflowers and fixing the bows. This customer paid handsomely for these bouquets and promised an extra tip for the special delivery.

Jean seldom delivers directly to hospital rooms but he couldn't turn down the tip. Money had been short since he and Marco had to stop selling their "special orders".

Once he deemed that the two bouquets were in perfect condition, Jean raised his knuckles to knock on the door.

"Come in!"

With a little struggle, Jean reached the doorknob, turned it, and see himself in. "Delivery from-" he paused when he finally saw his customer.

It was Eren, in the hospital bed with an injured leg wrapped in bandages. Fresh bandages. Jean was speechless. One, Eren didn't bother to sign up in the online shop, so Jean and Marco had no idea when he would order more flowers from them. Two, what the hell happened that lead him back to the hospital? The brunette Alpha was looking great though. He seems like he had a goodnight's sleep, gain some weight, plus, he's neat and clean. His appearance screamed that an Omega had been taking good care of him.

"Whoa! They're huge! I think I got the wrong size," Eren chuckled.

"Um, ah, I-" Jean stuttered. His eyes drifted on the brunette's nape and somehow relieved to see that the Omega didn't bite his friend's nape. It's not a complete bond, thank goodness.

"Can you please place it there?" Eren pointed at the small table on the corner.

"Um, yes," Jean nodded and gently set down the two bouquets.

"And here's your tip! Thanks!" Eren reached for a bill in his wallet and passed it to the two-toned Alpha.

"Thank you," Jean slowly took the tip.

Then, the door opened and suddenly, he felt chills running in his entire body.

"Levi!" Eren cheered happily.

Jean felt his heart stopped and his body trembled in fear when he felt those eyes on him. He never dared to look up, he heard the door close and sensed a predator ready to rip him to shred.

"Eren," Levi's voice was cool and collected. But looking past that, Jean knew he'd be dead instantly if he did anything. "Who is this?"

"Oh, um, what's your name again?" Eren turned to him with an innocent smile.

Sweat beaded on his forehead as Jean whacked his brain. Should he say his real name? Should use his other names? But right there on the door was Levi Ackerman and holy fucking shit, the raven Omega probably knew him now that he got a good look at him.

"I'm the delivery guy from the flower shop. A pleasure to be of service," Jean said instead as he slightly turned to face the Omega and flash the smaller male with a smile.

That was his mistake.

Levi was ready to kill. He just stood there, face blank, blue-stormy eyes zoned at Jean like a puma stalking his prey in the dark. The raven didn't look intimidating at first with his simple dress-shirt and black pants but there was this invisible aura around him that made him ten times more deadly.

Jean quickly shifted his gaze at the fresh, red bonding mark on the Omega's nape. That was the answer, Levi Ackerman was protecting Eren and it was hell. Jean wanted nothing more than to jump out of the window. Who cares if he was on the fourth floor, he wanted out of the room, preferably away from Levi Ackerman!

"Take your tip! Thanks, man!" Eren pushed the bill in his hands.

"T-Thanks!" Jean squeaked, his hands were trembling as he stuffs the bills in his pocket. "Have a g-good day!"

"You too," Eren smiled happily.

Jean dragged his feet towards the door and his heart was about to jump out of his chest when Levi didn't move an inch. But as he got closer, the Omega stepped away from the door.

Jean avoided his gaze and reached for the doorknob, turned it, and there, it was open, he could finally leave and-

"Wait!"

The two-toned Alpha froze. It was Eren who called him back and Jean mustered everything to force a smile and turn back to the brunette on the hospital bed. He could feel Levi's gaze like he was being stabbed by daggers on his back.

"Y-yes?"

Eren tilted his head to one side as he squinted at Jean. "You look familiar..."

Jean felt his lungs stopped working while his brain kept begging and praying that Eren won't remember anything. The two-toned wanted out of here and maybe he should get that trip to Paradise that Marco always wanted.

He just wanted out!

Then, he saw Levi moved in his peripheral vision.

This was it. Jean's a dead man.

Eren's smiled with recognition. He snapped his fingers and pointed at Jean. "You looked like the horse we saw this morning!"

Jean felt his world stopped. "H-Horse?"

"Right, Levi?" Eren inquired the raven.

"Yes," Levi replied flatly, eyes locked on Jean.

"Ahahaha," Jean laughed awkwardly, he pulled on his professional face and forced a cheery voice. "I-I see, I'll be taking my leave. Thank you once again for ordering!"

Then, he turned to step out of the room. But it felt like time slowed down as he lifts his foot. Levi's eyes were digging right into his soul. Now was the time to run because Jean didn't miss those blue-stormy eyes flicked into bright silver in milliseconds.

If Jean tripped right there, he couldn't have been dead but thankfully he was able to finally leave the room and closed the door behind him.

Then he made a run for it. He didn't care if people think he was a madman running away from the doctors. He'll be mad if he couldn't leave the hospital or away from Levi Ackerman.

He was whizzing for air when he reached his scooter on the parking lot and collapsed on the cement.

He looked down at his watch and discovered that he was in the hospital for only 20 minutes but it felt longer than that.

He fished his phone and dialed Marco's number. It was answered promptly.

"Hello? Jean? Have you successfully delivered-"

"Let's go to Paradise!" Jean begged.

"Oh! Okay! When?! I'm so excited! I can't believe you finally agree now!"

Jean smiled slightly at Marco's excitement. Maybe this was what he needed? Then, once again, he felt those eyes. He whipped his head towards the hospital and right there on the fourth floor, in one of the windows, stood Levi Ackerman. Staring at him down at the parking lot.

"Hello? Jean? So? When will we go?" Marco asked again and Jean was pulled back to his senses. Thank the heavens he had his angel Marco.

"Today!" Jean said in panic before he quickly gets on his scooter, put on his helmet, and drove away from the hospital.

Those eyes would visit him in his dreams tonight.
