"Do you like them?"

"Yes, thank you darling," Levi looked back and smiled at Eren. He craddled one of the bouquet of sunflowers in his arms as he watched Jean drove away like a lunatic in the road.

The flowers were beautiful. They were fresh and vibrant but Levi couldn't believe that he had the urge to rip Jean to shreds. He knew Jean, of course, it was pure coincidence that Eren bought flowers from their shop. Now that Levi thought about it, Eren could have been ordering flowers from them?

Levi clicked his tongue. He neglected to review Eren's order slip now he had to settle shit with Jean and maybe with Marco as well. But seeing the horse-looking Alpha cowering in fear earlier, Levi think that his uncle got him covered.

But he still couldn't justify to why he was so territorial.

Not just with Jean, he also felt it when the nurses came over and the doctor. Levi's Omegan instincts hated it when other people touch or went near his Alpha.

He didn't want anyone close to his Alpha, it was weird that's why he talked about to one of the Omegan doctors. The doctor explained that it was natural. He was bonded to Eren but the taller male wasn't bond to him exclusively because Levi didn't left his mark on the brunette Alpha's nape. There's a possibility that Eren would turn his head to another Omega. Levi knew that that's impossible but his inner instincts did not.

His Omegan instincts kept telling him to drive everyone away from his Alpha. Especially now, Alpha was injured and they were outside of their home. Levi's instincts were in full killer mode.

Levi almost went wild when Jean took too long to leave. This was certainly something he should get used to or at least control it somehow. If his instincts refused to clam their shit then Levi had to make sure they go home and fast. Away from other people and especially away from other Omegas.

Thankfully, the doctor noted Levi's condition and requested only Beta and Alphan nurses to check on his husband. But even with that, Levi's still at edge.

"Um, sorry... about today," Eren whimpered.

Levi was pulled away from his running thoughts. He turned to face the sad puppy on the hospital bed.

"I don't know what came over me," Eren reason as he looked down at his hands. "I thought someone hurt you."

Levi sighed and put away the bouquet on the table before dragging one of the chairs to sit next to the brunette's bed. "It's okay, that horse took be by surprise."

The raven also told the doctor about the recent events. The doctor thinks that it could be Eren's muscle memory was triggered by Levi's scream. The doctor also noted that the brunette's instincts to protect his newly bonded mate contribute to the sudden action, thus, fueling his adrenaline rush. His mind was so focused on protecting and attack that he hardly recognize his own injuries.

The doctor even commented that Eren's actions were incredible, it just showed how much he cared and more than willing to protect.

And kill. Levi added in his mind.

He should be careful now, Levi didn't want that he's the main reason why Eren's muscle memory was triggered.

"I thought someone hurt you," Eren whispered and reached out to hold Levi's hands on his. Then his tone dropped drastically. "I just don't want anyone hurting my Omega."

"Hmmm," Levi hummed. There's poison in Eren's words and an intent to kill. The raven should be worry, but his inner Omega instincts thought otherwise. His instincts were pleased to know that Alpha would do everything to protect. But it only made Levi confused.

"But you agree with me right?" Eren asked with smiles. He was back to his usual happy self. "The delivery guy, he looked like a horse!"

Levi tried to hide his laugh. He never thought about Jean looking similar to a barn animal but when Eren mentioned it, the two-toned Alpha did look like a horse.

"Anyway," Levi cleared his throat. "How are you feeling?"

"I'm okay. I want to go home, I miss Captain."

"It's okay, Hange's looking after him. No more pain?"

"No, those medicine worked like magic!"

"That's good, we're allowed to leave after the doctor finished up everything," Levi said as he stood and went to pick up the two bouquets. "I'm putting these in the car."

"Okay, sorry, I think I was high with drugs earlier. I ordered two instead of one and selected the wrong size," Eren confessed, a deep blush dusting on his cheeks.

"It's fine," Levi walked back towards the brunette and pecked his lips. "I love them."

"I love you too," Eren replied with a big smile.

Levi smiled and ruffled his hair before leaving the brunette.

Walking away from Eren was torture but Levi knew too well it was his stupid instincts were acting up. His rational self kept telling him that the brunette would be alright for a few minutes but his instincts told him that something would come up.

Levi walked to the parking lot, he's going to move the car anyway. Since Eren's a special case, they'll exit on the other side of the hospital for safety reasons.

Reaching the black sedan, Levi paused when he heard hushed whispers from the bushes a feet away from where he stood.

Setting the two bouquets down at the ground, Levi hid himself on his car and spied at the suspicious people behind the bush.

"Are you sure he's there?!" Someone said.

"Yes, on the fourth floor!" A female voice hissed.

"I heard he got an Omega, is that true?"

Like a cat, Levi slowly moved towards the bushes. These people, whoever they are, were not amatures. Even a normal person who came to the parking lot could easily know their location.

"I don't care it that's true! We need to kill him!" the female voice declared with rage.

"But- Ahhhhhhhh!"

"Ahhhhh!"

Levi smiled and shook his head. The raven couldn't see from where he was but he already knew what happened based on the screams. He knew he shouldn't worry about any of these stuff, Hange got him covered.

The raven was about to turn back to his car when he heard the two begging.

"Please! We need to kill him!"

"That's not your job," Hange's voice was cool and calm.

"He killed my son!" They reasoned.

"I understand, but first things first, where did you get info?" Hange put on her professional pants on.

Levi blinked at the reminder. Right, Eren's a psychopath. He killed people and now even without memories, the brunette was willing to kill for him.

It's sweet and all but it just showed that Eren didn't change much with his lack of memories. Killing was in his blood. He's a psychopath in and out. It's just sad to see the truth but that's how it is.

Levi walked back to his car, letting Hange settle everything. Putting the two bouquets in the back seat, Levi stared at the vibrant flowers.

One day, those beautiful petals would wilt. Just like Eren. One day, gone the good and gentle Alpha, then the psychopath would return.

Levi sat on the driver seat and rested his head on the steering wheel. There's a lot to take in. His instincts, his bonding with Eren, and Eren's weird ass killer mode switch.

It's chaos.

The raven flinched when some tapped his window. Levi blinked several times and found Hange outside, he quickly pulled down the window.

"Were you asleep?" Hange asked.

"Um," Levi licked his lips. "No?"

"You're stressed."

"And that's not new," Levi rolled his eyes on her.

"Well, good news for you. You and Eren are going on a vacation," Hange grinned.

"What?" Levi gapped.

"In short, we need you guys out of town, somewhere secluded."

"Why? What's going on?"

"No, need to know the details, we got this. Just do you part as Eren's Omega and let us handle the rest," Hange gave him a thumbs up.

"Okay, but tell me if you need me."

"Of course." And Hange walked away.

Levi stared at the bushes in fornt in daze. Another vacation? Didn't Hange said that this mission was also a "vacation"?

Levi jumped when his phone vibrate in his pocket. Fishing his phone, he discovered that it was a text from a Eren.

Eren: Levi, please hurry, I miss you

(╥﹏╥)

The corner of his lips curled up as he type out his reply. How could he love and hate someone so much at the same time? Levi had no idea.
