Pitch Perfect Horror Week 2021 - Day Three

Author's Note: After the last two chapters, I decided to go with more fun and fluff than actual frights and tears. I hope you like what I did. Thank you for reading.
Beca and Chloe were at a Bellas mini-reunion celebrating Jessica and Ashley's upcoming marriage. This of course brought up the same question that was asked every time the Bellas got together. Beca was talking with Flo and Jessica when it happened.
"When are you and Chloe going to put a ring on it?" Flo asked Beca.
Beca was surprised because it was usually Stacie or Fat Amy who brought up the question first.
"Um, I, uh, I'm not-," Beca stuttered. "I'm not sure."
"Don't let them push you into something you're not ready for, Beca," Jessica said.
Beca gave her a small smile and nodded, saying a quiet, "Thanks."
"What are you girls talking about?" Chloe asked as she wrapped her arm around Beca from behind and placed her chin on Beca's shoulder.
"Nothing," Beca said quickly. "I need another drink. Does anyone else need or want one?"
Flo and Jessica shook their heads.
"I'll go with you," Chloe said.
Beca sighed as she turned to go to the kitchen for a drink; Chloe took her hand as they walked.
"Are you okay?" Chloe asked Beca.
"What?" Beca scoffed. "I'm fine."
"Hmm," Chloe hummed.
"Really, Chlo, I'm fine."
"Did someone ask you when we were going to get engaged?"
Beca stopped in mid-step, forcing Chloe to stop as well.
"Yeah," Beca said quietly. She looked into Chloe's eyes. "You know I love you and I'm all in, right?"
"I know," Chloe said just as quietly. "You know I love you and I'm all in, too, right?"
"Yeah," Beca said. "I know."
~~Pitch Perfect Horror Week 2021 - Day Three ~~
Later that night, the four Bellas couples were sitting around talking. Jessica and Ashley had just told them about the mini-honeymoon their parents had given them as a wedding gift. They ended with asking their fellow Bellas to join them.
"So, let me get this straight," Stacie said, looking at Jessica and Ashley. "You want the six of us to join you on your honeymoon?"
"Yeah," Ashley said. "Our folks rented us a yacht to sail down the East Coast. It comes with a chef, a small crew, and four full bedrooms."
"It's only for four days," Jessica added. "We hope you can all make it."
"Denise?" CR questioned, looking at her wife.
"Only four days?" Denise said, smiling and nodding her head. "Yeah, let's do it."
"We're in," CR said, smiling at Jessica and Ashley.
"Beca, what do you think?" Chloe whispered to Beca.
Beca smiled and nodded. "I think we should go. It sounds fun and a little romantic, don't you think?"
"Yes!" Chloe exclaimed. "Beca and I are in. Brey? How about you and Stacie?"
"I don't know," Aubrey said. "We have to find someone to take care of Bella."
"I'm sure my mom will take her," Stacie said. "And it would be nice to get away, just the two of us. We haven't had a vacation with just the two of us since our honeymoon."
"Okay, then," Aubrey said. "It looks like we're in, too!"
"Yay!" Jessica cheered. "We'll send you all an email with the details.
~~Pitch Perfect Horror Week 2021 - Day Three ~~
Jessica and Ashley's wedding went off without a hitch. The four couples left their hotel the next morning and made their way to the yacht they would be sailing on for the next four days.
"Wow!" Stacie said, whistling. "This is some boat."
"Good morning, ladies," a man in white pants and a green collared shirt greeted the group. "I am Samuel and I will be captaining the ship for you. Follow me and I'll show you to your assigned cabins."
The girls picked up their suitcases and followed Samuel. Each was given a cabin. The girls made plans to put on their bathing suits and meet back up on deck after they finished unpacking.
"Swanky," Beca said when she and Chloe entered their cabin. "Look, we even have our own bathroom."
"Actually, you'll be sharing with us," Stacie said as she came through the bathroom to Beca and Chloe's cabin.
"Remind me to always lock both bathroom doors when I go in there," Beca whispered to Chloe.
"I'll do you one better," Chloe said and looked at Stacie. "Stacie, promise me you won't harass my girlfriend when she's using the bathroom."
"I never make a promise I know I can't keep," Stacie responded with a salacious wink at Beca.
"Oh, God," Beca said, blushing as Chloe giggled next to her.
"Don't worry, babe," Chloe whispered in Beca's ear. "I'll remind you to lock both doors whenever you go in there."
"Thanks," Beca said, shivering at Chloe's breath tickling her ear.
~~Pitch Perfect Horror Week 2021 - Day Three ~~
Once all the girls had changed and were on the deck, Samuel introduced them to the two crew members, one of whom was also the chef.
Lunch was served buffet style and the girls were enjoying everything.
"Try this, Jess," Ashley said, holding out a fork with a bite of shrimp scampi on it. "The bread crumb topping makes the dish."
"Mmmm," Jessica hummed with satisfaction as she took the offered bite. "That is so good."
"Told you," Ashley said, leaning in to kiss Jessica.
"Mmm," Jessica said, licking her lips. "That taste was even better."
"I'll give you the full buffet later," Ashley whispered with a giggle.
"You two are so stinking cute," CR said, holding Denise from behind. "Have we fully thanked you for inviting us to be a part of your amazing honeymoon trip?"
"I second that," Chloe said.
Chloe was sitting behind Beca with her chin on Beca's shoulder, holding her drink up in the air toward Jessica and Ashley.
"Hear, hear!" Aubrey and the others said, holding their drinks up as well.
"We're glad to have you all here," Ashley said. "This trip just wouldn't be the same without the Bellas being included."
"I wish we had thought of inviting some of you on our honeymoon," Stacie said, as she situated herself behind Aubrey. "It was great with just the two of us, but there were a few instances where it would have been more fun with a group."
"Aca-scuse me?" Aubrey said. "I thought our honeymoon was aca-mazing with just the two of us."
"I love you, babe," Stacie said, sitting up to pull Aubrey to her. "But, you have to admit there were a couple of times that you said you wished we had some friends with us."
"I'm with Stacie," Denise said, causing CR to look at her with a raised brow.
"Did you find me lacking on our honeymoon?" CR asked.
"No, no, no," Denise said, waving her hands at CR. "You were amazing on our honeymoon. You definitely were not lacking in any way. I just meant I can see what Stacie was saying. Do you remember that tour we took of the winery and none of the other members of the group spoke to us? We couldn't decide if it was because you're black or that we were a same-sex couple on our honeymoon. Either way, it would have been nice to have someone we knew there so we could have enjoyed it more. Don't you agree?"
"Okay," CR said. "I'll give you that one."
~~Pitch Perfect Horror Week 2021 - Day Three ~~
A few hours later, the girls decided to call it a night and went to their cabins.
"It's freezing in here," Ashley said, shivering as she and Jessica got ready for bed.
"Leave the pajamas," Jessica purred in Ashley's ear. "And come warm me up."
"Yes, ma'am," Ashley said, taking Jessica in her arms.
Ashley kissed Jessica and things got heated, quickly.
"Dayum," Jessica murmured against Ashley's lips. "You sure are good at that. I'm getting warmer already.
"Stick with me," Ashley said. "And you'll think you've stepped into an inferno."
Jessica laughed as Ashley threw her down on the bed and climbed on top of her.
They had been out to see for three days. Beca and Chloe were relaxing in their cabin when Beca got up and went into the shared bathroom, after a moment she came stomping back out.
"Oh, my God!" Beca screamed.
"What happened?" Chloe asked, jumping up from the bed and rushing over to Beca.
"They were -," Beca stuttered. "Naked. Hands. Stuff. Aubrey. I can't unsee it!"
"We're sorry, Beca," Stacie said as she and Aubrey came through the door Beca had just entered from.
Beca turned and glared at the couple.
"Someone want to tell me what's going on?" Chloe said, looking from Beca to Stacie and Aubrey.
"It's not a big deal," Stacie said.
"Not a big deal?!" Beca screeched. "Maybe not to you, but it is to me. I'll never be able to unsee it."
"Stacie and I were, um, you know," Aubrey stammered. "And Beca walked in and saw us."
"They were having sex, Chloe," Beca said, glaring at Stacie and Aubrey. "In the shared bathroom."
Chloe bit her lip but couldn't keep the laugh from spewing out. Beca blushed and turned her glare to Chloe.
"It's not funny, Chlo," Beca said.
"It's a little bit funny," Stacie said, laughing as Aubrey slapped on the stomach.
"Not even a little bit," Beca said. "I swear I could have gone my whole life without knowing what Aubrey's O face looks like. I will be haunted by that image for the rest of my life. That's what this is. It's turned into a haunted honeymoon."
Chloe and Stacie laughed harder; Aubrey blushed but joined in the laughter. Beca huffed and started for the door.
"Where are you going?" Chloe asked, still laughing.
"I'm going to sleep on the deck," Beca said. "That's if I can get Aubrey's face out of my head."
Chloe couldn't control herself and started laughing harder; Stacie and Aubrey joined her.
Beca opened the door and looked over at Stacie and Aubrey. "Lock both fucking doors next time!"
Beca then left the room, slamming the door behind her. Laughter followed her up to the deck.
~~Pitch Perfect Horror Week 2021 - Day Three ~~
"Fucking Stacie and Aubrey," Beca mumbled as she got comfortable on the bench seat on the upper deck.
Beca started chuckling to herself as she realized what she had just said.
"Stacie and Aubrey fucking," Beca mumbled laughing harder at herself. "Fucking Stacie and Aubrey."
Beca finally calmed down and looked up at the moon.
"I should get Chloe and bring her up here," Beca thought. "This is kind of romantic. It's a nice night, maybe we can sleep up here."
"Is everything alright, miss?" Samuel asked, causing Beca to jump.
"Yeah, everything's fine," Beca said. "Are there any rules against us sleeping up here?"
"No, miss," Samuel said. "It's a beautiful night and you should be quite comfortable. Is there anything else I can do for you?"
"No, thank you," Beca said.
"I'll bid you a goodnight then," Samuel said and left Beca.
Beca watched Samuel leave and decided that getting Chloe was a good idea. She stood and started to make her way to the steps leading to the lower deck.
"Becs?" Chloe's voice called out from the deck below.
"Up here," Beca said, looking over the edge to see Chloe standing below her. "I was just coming to get you."
Chloe smiled and climbed up to where Beca was. She pulled Beca to her and kissed her.
"I'm sorry," Chloe murmured against Beca's lips. "I shouldn't have laughed at you."
"It's okay," Beca said, kissing Chloe. "Once I got up here I started laughing at the ridiculousness of it all."
"So, why were you coming to get me?" Chloe asked, tightening her arms around Beca's shoulders.
"Other than the fact that I love you and wanted to be with you?"
"Yeah," Chloe said, smiling brightly. "Other than that."
"It's kind of romantic out tonight," Beca said, staring into Chloe's eyes. "I thought maybe we could sleep up here."
"Mmmm," Chloe purred. "I like the way you think. Let's get some pillows and a blanket."
Chloe turned to go back to their room. Beca grabbed her arm to stop her.
"Um," Beca said. "Where are Stacie and Aubrey?"
Chloe giggled. "They went back to their room."
"Are you sure?" Beca asked.
"Positive," Chloe said.
Beca followed Chloe below and they grabbed pillows and a light blanket. They returned to the upper deck and made up their 'bed.' Beca laid down and held out her arm to Chloe. Chloe snuggled into Beca's side and threw her arm across Beca's waist.
"Look at that moon," Chloe said. "It's beautiful."
"Yes, it is," Beca said, looking down at Chloe. "I love you."
"I love you, too," Chloe said, leaning up to join their lips. "Sweet dreams, babe."
"Sweet dreams," Beca said, trying to stifle a yawn.
It wasn't long before the couple had fallen asleep.
~~Pitch Perfect Horror Week 2021 - Day Three ~~
"What the hell, Beca?" Stacie yelled as she opened the door to Beca and Chloe's room. "You forgot to unlock-. They're not here."
"What?" Aubrey asked, looking over Stacie's shoulder. "Where could they be?"
"What's going on?" CR asked and she and Denise came out of their room.
"What's with all the shouting?" Jessica asked as she and Ashley exited their room.
"Beca and Chloe are missing," Aubrey said.
"What?!" Four Bella voices screeched.
"They're missing," Stacie said. "They were here last night when we went to bed."
"Well, Chloe was," Aubrey said. "Beca stormed out and-. Wait, Beca said she was going to sit on the upper deck. Maybe Chloe went looking for her."
"Why did Beca storm out?" CR asked.
"She was mad at us for laughing at her," Aubrey said, blushing slightly.
"Why were you laughing at her?" Ashley asked.
Stacie gave the girls the Reader's Digest condensed version of what happened the night before. She ended with Beca saying how she would be haunted by what she saw for the rest of her life.
The girls started laughing.
"Hey, Jess, Ashley," Denise said, wiping a tear from her eye. "I didn't know you invited us on a haunted honeymoon."
"The only thing haunted about our honeymoon," Jessica said, laughing. "Is what's inside Beca's head."
"Be nice, you guys," Aubrey said. "She was really upset last night. Don't mention anything and don't tease her, okay?"
"We'll try," CR said. "But, I make no promises."
"Come on," Ashley said. "Let's see what's for breakfast."
The three couples followed Ashley and Jessica to the upper deck.
"Good morning, ladies," Samuel called out from the top deck. "We have breakfast set up here this morning."
"You girls had better hurry up," Chloe said, holding a glass of juice and looking down at them. "Beca is wolfing down the bacon like there's no tomorrow."
The girls hurried up the last set of steps. Beca had just picked up more bacon when she suddenly froze at hearing Stacie's voice.
"Back away from the bacon, Beca," Stacie said as she was making her way over to the table.
Beca dropped the bacon on her plate and looked over her shoulder. She smirked at Stacie and took her plate over to sit next to Chloe. Chloe took a piece of bacon off Beca's plate and bit into it.
"Mmmm," Chloe hummed in content.
"Good, right?" Beca said, smirking when she saw Stacie glaring at her.
"Here's more bacon for you ladies," the cook said as he set a plate overflowing with more bacon on the table.
"Did you guys sleep up here?" Denise asked, pointing out the blanket and pillows Beca and Chloe had used.
"Yeah, we did," Chloe said, kissing Beca's cheek. "It was quite romantic."
"Isn't that what honeymoons are supposed to be?" Ashley asked. "Romantic?"
"Yeah," Jessica said.
"I'm guessing if you were able to be romantic and sleep up here," Stacie said, chuckling. "You are no longer haunted by what you saw Aubrey and I doing last night?"
Beca glared at Stacie as the others started laughing.
"Did you tell everybody what happened last night?" Beca asked.
"Yep," Stacie said.
"Leave her alone, Stacie," Aubrey said. "Just because we were enjoying the moment, doesn't mean Beca enjoyed watching it happen."
Beca grimaced and dropped the bacon she was eating back onto her plate. "I've suddenly lost my appetite."
~~Pitch Perfect Horror Week 2021 - Day Three ~~
The girls teased Beca throughout the day and kept referring to the trip as "Jessica and Ashley's Haunted Honeymoon."
Since it was their last night on board, the cook made a special seafood dinner and had a beautiful table set up on the main deck. They ate by candlelight and made toast after toast to Jessica and Ashley.
Jessica stood and raised her glass. Ashley smiled at her and raised her glass as well.
"First," Jessica said. "Ash and I want to thank you all for joining us on our honeymoon trip."
"You mean, haunted honeymoon trip," CR said, snickering.
"Wow," Beca muttered so only Chloe could hear. "Comments like that make me wonder if I even want a honeymoon."
"If you marry me," Chloe whispered back. "There damn well better be a honeymoon."
"Is that a proposal, Beale?" Beca teased.
"What if it were?" Chloe smirked, expecting to see Beca squirm.
"Hmmm," Beca hummed. "Then I guess I'd have to say yes."
"Wait. What?" Chloe said, leaning back to look at Beca. "Are you serious?"
"I am if you are," Beca said. "What do you say, Chloe? Wanna marry me?"
The others sat and looked at Beca and Chloe, waiting to see what Chloe would say.
"You'd better not be toying with me, Mitchell," Chloe said.
Beca pushed her chair back and knelt down on one knee next to Chloe's chair.
"Oh, my God," Stacie whispered.
"I'm not toying with you, Beale," Beca said, holding up a ring up to Chloe. "I love you, Chloe. Will you marry me?"
Chloe looked at Beca with tears in her eyes. She took Beca's face in her hands and leaned down to kiss her.
"Yes," Chloe whispered against Beca's lips before pushing back into the kiss.
Beca pulled out of the kiss and took Chloe's left hand, placing the ring on her finger. She then stood, bringing Chloe up with her.
"I love you," Beca said before smashing her lips onto Chloe's.
"Congratulations, you two," Aubrey said, hugging the newly engaged couple.
The others joined in with their congratulations.
"Hey!" Jessica called out to get everyone's attention. "I didn't get to finish my toast."
Everyone took their seats and raised their glasses.
"Second," Jessica said. "I want to give a special thanks to Beca for giving us this wonderful honeymoon trip."
"What?" Aubrey and Stacie said together.
"Beca?" Chloe asked, looking at Beca.
Beca just smiled and gave a small salute to Jessica and Ashley with her glass.
"Beca gave you this trip?" Chloe asked, looking at Jessica. "But, I thought your parents gave it to you."
"That's just what we told all of you," Ashley said. "Beca came to us at the reunion and told us that she wanted to propose to Chloe. She had everything planned out and just needed us to get the rest of you on board. We didn't really have a lot of money for both the wedding and the honeymoon, so it worked out perfectly."
"Thank you, Jessica," Beca said. "And Ashley. This was one of the best days of my life."
"You did all this just to propose to me?" Chloe asked with tears in her eyes.
"I wanted it to be special," Beca said, wiping Chloe's tears with the pad of her thumb. "And I wanted our closest friends in attendance when I asked you."
A collective 'awww' went up from the group.
"You know Amy's going to kill you," Stacie said, looking at Beca. "She's always saying that she's your best friend. She's going to hate that she missed it."
"She knew about it," Beca said. "But, she already had plans to go to Australia after Jessica and Ashley's wedding for her cousin's wedding. Plus, it's all on video, right Samuel."
"Yes, Miss Mitchell," Samuel responded with a smile while holding up a small camera.
