So, the time has come for someone to come back to the Loud House, well not really but he will wake up and recall what had gone down and be confronted by what his big sister has to say and then they'll have to hear what the rest of the family has to say, and the changes will be something the white-haired loud boy did not see coming, oh and also some of his friends coming. "Luna's forgotten promise."

(Royal Woods General Hospital, Morning.)

The daytime comes, and at this moment Luna Loud panics and she awakens and she looks around and she realizes where she is, Luna looks to her still unconscious brother and she sighs in relief. "Lunes?" The rocker girl then sees her girlfriend Sam come inside. "Bad dream?" Sam has with her some coffee for them to drink.

Luna sighs. "Yeah, sorta... I just, I wish I didn't do what I did the other day and just... I don't know what the hell was wrong with me. I know what caused me to stray away from my little brother, and I know I need to make things right."

Sam knows that this is eating the insides of her girlfriend and she hands her the coffee and Luna accepts it. "Lunes, it's all gonna be fine. I know that you have a plan and I know you're gonna do whatever it takes to be there for your little brother. I have faith in you that you can make things right again."

Luna sighs. "Thanks, Sammy. I just hope that what you say might be true than just words that haven't done anything yet. I have a lot to catch up on to make things right with Lincoln..." She sips her coffee and she looks to her brother. "I don't wanna see him like this anymore... It hurts."

Sam then holds her hand and she pulls Luna close. "He'll be fine, give him some time and he'll be back on his feet, you'll see... Also, be thankful that today is Sunday, and we have school tomorrow and..."

"I can't do that Sam" replied Luna, she looks towards Sam sternly. "I am not leaving Lincoln here alone, education is something that can wait, I wanna be here for when he does wake up and make sure he gets out of here, and when he does get out of here I am going to do whatever I can to be there for him, a promise I am not gonna break and not gonna forget."

Sam smiles and she is impressed by this side of Luna who now seems determined to be there for her brother. "Alright, we will need to make some plan to tell this to the others at school and also to your parents, but my option is that I come by and drop off your school work. Also, Dr. Kendrick will be informed about this too."

Luna nods. "Yeah, I know..." Then she feels someone holding her left hand, and Luna sees her hand is now being held by her brother. She then looks to Lincoln. "L-Linky?"

The boy's eyes slowly flutter and he stirs and then groans. "Ow... What the heck? Wait, where am I and why can't I feel my legs?" Lincoln opens his eyes and he sees where he is and then he looks to his legs and he can't feel them, and then he sees Luna and Sam. "Luna?"

Luna then hands her coffee to Sam and she goes over and hugs her brother. "Lincoln! Thank god himself, you're alive and okay! Oh god, Lincoln!" she then sobs as she embraces her brother, and so Lincoln returns the hug and he rubs Luna's back.

Lincoln sees Sam in tears and she puts the coffees away and then hugs Luna and Sam. "You had us all worried, we're glad you're fine, Lincoln and awake too!"

Lincoln smiles, but then he recalls what had happened. "Luna, are you alright? That car almost..." Luna and Sam depart from the hug and then Lincoln sees the tears in her eyes and she looks like she barely got any sleep. "Luna?"

"Linc, I just... I was an idiot, the whole thing was all my fault, and if I hadn't had been too distracted, then you wouldn't be here in this and I just... Linc, baby bro. I'm so sorry!" Luna then embraces her brother. "I'm so, so sorry for what I did and for being such an idiot!"

Lincoln is surprised by this and so he returns the hug. "Luna, it's alright. I forgive you and I am still a little ticked off that you weren't seeing where you were going, but what matters is that you're doing alright and fine and that..."

Luna then departs from the hug. "No, it's not fine at all Lincoln! You're all banged up, and can't be able to walk! This is all my fault, I am to blame for this and I will make things right!"

Lincoln is confused. "Wait, wait. What?! What do you mean I can't walk?!" He then realizes, that it is the reason he is unable to feel his legs. "Wait, I can't walk anymore?!"

Sam then intervenes. "Lincoln, calm down. Dr. Kendrick said that you're legs are gonna be fine, but they had to perform some surgery to fix your damaged spine and it is repaired, but the nerve cells have to repair on their own and it'll be two months before you can regain the feeling in your legs again. Sorry."

Lincoln is a little surprised, but then he sighs in relief. "Well, at least I won't be unable to walk for too long, and this could get me out of gym class. This does bite, and I could only guess I need to be on the wheel chair for the next two months too?"

Luna nods. "B-But it'll be fine... Everything will be alright, Lincoln. I will be there to help you, I am not gonna let you go through this pain. I promise that I will be there to help you when you need it, I promise that I won't let trouble come and harm you and I promise to not break the forget the sibling bond we had so long ago."

Lincoln is confused and then he recalls what she means. "Wait, what?!" He then looks for something, but then he sees Luna and she has the necklace in her hands.

Lincoln is surprised and she smiles. "I found this and... I'm sorry, for everything I have done to you, and for not being there for you... for so god damn stupid long, I was a fool and an idiot, but that is all gonna change."

Luna then takes her brother's hand and she places it inside his palm and closes his hand. "Lincoln, I am going to do whatever it takes in my god damn power to make sure that we rekindle and bring back the sibling bond we had, because I need to know... Linc, who was your best friend before any of this?"

Lincoln then recalls. "You were..." Lincoln is now being flooded by memories, and some faint from long ago when he was very young. "Y-You were, Luna... Luna you were my first friend!" He then reaches for her, but Luna goes in and she embraces her little brother.

Luna can feel Lincoln shivering and she can hear him sobbing onto her chest, and she kisses his forehead and rubs his hair. "Yes, I'm here. It's gonna be alright, Luna is here little brother. We're alright now, and... and I won't break or forget anymore promises... I won't." She then has tears and cries with him.

Sam is touched seeing this and she too wipes away some of her tears, then she sees Dr. Kendrick walk in and he sees Lincoln and Luna hugging. "I should go, I'll be back when this is over." But then the door opens again and they see the louds come in and they see Lincoln and Luna hugging.

"Lincoln!" All of them come over and they wanna speak with Lincoln, but he remains unresponsive as he is embracing Luna.

"Lincoln, my sweet baby you're awake! Thank goodness!"

"You had all of us so worried sport, we didn't know what would've happened if you never did wake up."

"We were literally praying for you to wake up and come back to us, we didn't wanna lose you."

"I don't wanna lose you, Linky. You're my brother and I love you so, so much!"

"I didn't joke, I didn't pun and I didn't wanna do any comedy until you came back to us!"

"I knew you'd be back! I knew it. You're strong Linc, and you wouldn't let a car hitting you take you down and... I missed you."

"I wouldn't live with myself if you did perish, and I doubt I would wanna keep living if you were gone."

"I don't know what I would be if you were gone, and I don't wanna lose you big brother!"

"We're all nothing without you, and I don't wanna lose my big brother!"

Lisa doesn't respond, she just hugs Lily and they both shed some tears seeing this. But then she notices that everyone wants to talk to him, but he refuses to. "Everyone, stop." they all do as Lisa says and see Lincoln is crying and whimpering and he remains hugging Luna, and she also remains silent.

"What the heck is going on?" asked Lola. "Why isn't Linky talking to us? We wanna hug him too!"

"Yeah, and Luna is the cause of what happened!" said Lynn Jr sternly.

"Hey!" They all see Sam and she is not pleased. "You all better stop and watch with those words and calm down, Linc has already been through a lot and right now being comforted by someone who stayed here and was the cause of this is what he's seeking now. So, everyone calm down before you see how dangerous Luna is... Because last night, I saw it and... I was kinda afraid."

"You mean this?" Dr. Kendrick shows them the footage from last night through his tablet and all of them are surprised by the words from Luna and how she got angry at Sam and demanded the necklace back from her, and this startles the louds. They haven't seen Luna this miffed since her period.

Lana then asks. "Wait, necklace? What necklace?"

"That one." Lucy points to the necklace in Lincoln's hand, dangling and it's made of silver.

Leni then realizes. "Wait, that necklace. I know that, Luna gave it to Lincoln before she went to the Mick Swagger concert, and she was given that after Lincoln turned 1 year old back then." All of them are surprised that Leni remembered that. "What? I wanna change and learn, and I even recall the memories from long ago, I might be dumb but I am not stupid."

Rita and Lynn Sr couldn't believe this and they see Lincoln gripping Luna as they embrace, and then Lynn Sr looks towards Sam. "Sam, what the heck happened while we weren't here?"

Rita then asks. "Did something went down after Lincoln woke up?"

Sam sighs and she walks to the door. "We'll discuss this outside, now." they all agree and follow Sam outside, even though some of them wanted to stay and be there for Lincoln. Dr. Kendrick on the other hand is still in the room and he ignores Luna and Lincoln and checks on the status of the boy as he embraces his big sister.

(Moments Later.)

The door opens again and the louds walk inside along with Sam and they go over to see Luna is now sitting and talking to Lincoln, and the duo chuckle and then Lincoln holds her hand, then they see the others. "Hey guys, guess I'm awake now and everything feels sore, unfortunate that I cannot feel my legs."

They are all grateful for that and then Lisa goes over and she hands Lily over to Lincoln and he hugs his baby sister. "Hey, Lily. I missed you too." He then kisses her cheek and the baby hugs her brother and feels like not letting go.

Seeing this makes Luna smile, and reminds her of the times when she would hug her baby brother and that he wouldn't let her go. Then Luna looks to the others, she can see the stern look from Lori and she sighs. "Let me guess, I am grounded until Lincoln walks again and I won't be able to do anything musical related and have to do a lot of stuff to help my brother?"

They all remain silent and Lynn Sr scratches the back of his head. "Wow. She knew about that fast, and yeah that's pretty much the punishment you're getting Lunes."

Lori then speaks sternly, "And don't try to get out of this, you literally have to..."

"I will accept this" replied Luna, she sighs and looks to her brother. "As long as I can rekindle and repair what was shattered and forgotten long ago, I will do whatever it takes to make things right, even if it has to mean goodnight and walking out of the rock n' roll house forever."

All of them are surprised to hear this, and even Lincoln. Sam doesn't seem surprised, since she kinda figured she would say that. "Wait, what?!" said Rita. "Luna, you don't have to give up on rock n' roll."

"Yeah, you're just unable to do so for the next two months, or until Lincoln can walk again" replied Luan.

"All of your stuff is boxed in the garage" replied Lynn Jr. "Heck, we even put the posters there, but we left out the diary and the stash of cash and no we didn't take any. Luan made sure of that."

Lynn Sr then speaks. "Luna, you can still be a rock n' roll gal. We didn't say you'd have to..."

"But I want to!" said Luna sternly. She then looks towards Lincoln who is concerned. "Because god may have given rock n' roll to us, but it also took me away from what I was before. I was a talented and amazing singer, and I was good with some musical stuff, but rock n' roll drove a wedge between me and who I was, and I know Rita and Lynnard Loud remember that day, the day they told me to go to the Mick Swagger concert, with no dang questions asked."

Lori is confused. "Wait what?" She then looks towards her parents and so do the others. "What the heck is she talking about? I thought she went there because she wanted to and you got her the tickets..."

All of this then makes sense to Sam and then she asks. "Lori, when that happened where the heck were you when it all went down?"

Lori then recalls. "I was at Becky's place. We both were teammates when we were doing a High School project, and then when I got back home, Luna was a whole different person and then mom and dad told me..." She then realizes. "A lie?" She then looks to the parents. "Wait, what did you do?"

Luan then asks. "The truth."

Lynn Sr sighs and he tells them. "Alright, alright. I told Luna to go to the concert, and I begged her to do so, because I thought it would be a great idea to have one of my kids love the rock n' roll legend I respect a lot, and I thought it was a smart idea because Luna was good with music."

Then Rita spoke next. "You're father convinced me and I thought it was a good idea too. So, we got the tickets and we told Luna to go, and that we would take care of Lincoln while she was away and we handled that part well and I guess... We wanted Luna to find her true calling?"

She then realizes. "Oh no, wait... Did I just help push my daughter into something she wasn't even interested in?!"

Sam is now furious. "You two did what?!"

Lincoln then sheds some tears. "You drove Luna away from me... Y-You two drove my sister away from me?!"

Leni, Luan and Lynn Jr couldn't believe it, and the younger ones too. They had their love for what they wanted back then, but then comes the older louds. Luan then recalls. "Dad showed me comedy and told me that I would be a great comedian for standup comedy and then taught me to make puns and he always watched comedy shows when I was with him in the living room."

Leni then recalls. "Dad was the one who showed me fashion shows, and then mom showed me more fashion designs and brought me to a fashion museum, and I was a little baby back then!"

Lynn Jr then recaps. "They were the ones who got me into sport... Dad got me the gear, and then he..." Something hits her hard. "No... No, no. He taught me about the softball gods, the superstitions and that would mean... The whole luck thing and... That was all my fault, and dads!"

They all look to Lynn Sr and are surprised and shocked and Rita looks to her husband in disbelief. "Lynnard, what did you do?"

Lynn Sr is confused and he tries to come up with some way to get out of this. "I thought that... I just wanted to..."

"Can it!" yelled Lola. "You are the very reason why they were pushed into talent, while us younger louds found it on our own! What the heck is wrong with you?!" Then she recalls. "Right, his while big family dream thing, wow!"

"No, not that at all." They all look towards Sam and she sighs. "This whole thing, what they did to push the older louds into the talents they have now, and what the rest of you younger ones seem to be doing... Is something I have heard, from time to time on social media."

"They don't just wanna watch you guys succeed, but they wanna watch you guys to make the last name a legend and become famous, rich, iconic and kinda something to show off. Believe me, my dad almost fell for that and then my mom, but then they chose to support "My" choice, and you're parents have taken it a little too far, by having more kids."

Lisa sees through this. "She... Sam is right! She is not wrong!"

All of them look to Lynn Sr and Rita and they back away, while Lincoln is confused and then he realizes. "Which is another reason why they wouldn't do much to spend time with me, I don't have anything special to..."

"No..." Luna kisses his forehead. "You are special, in your own way and I can see it. Others might not, but I can... And the rest of us know that too." Lincoln sees the other loud sisters also agree with Luna, and then he embraces his big sister, and the rest of the loud's join in.

Lynn Sr and Rita see this and are feeling bad for what they have done which made Lori, Leni, Luna, Luan and Lynn Jr into what they are now, and now that they see what they have done and how far Lynn Sr's dream has taken, they need to make this right before it spirals out of hand.

The parents are about to speak, but then the door opens and they see the ones coming in are: Stella, Rusty, Zach, Liam, Clyde and his dad's Howard and Harold McBride. "Lincoln!" They all come over and see how he's doing, Jordan then follows after.

"Sorry, Linc. By the time they came back from their Saturday vacations, they went to ask me what went down and so I told them, I mean... Stella is very persuasive.'

Lincoln nods. "No, no. it's all fine, Jordan." He then looks to the others. "So, you all heard about what went down with me, am I right?" They all nod and all of them talk about what have gone down.

"Lincoln, we're sorry you went through this. I was way too busy with the whole aloha Beach day with my family."

"I heard about it from Jordan after I spoke with my piano teacher after we came back from the trip to the piano museum, it didn't seem as boring as I thought it would be."

"My phone was off when we went alien hunting, and so I didn't know what was going on until I came back here."

"The big veggie harvest festival made me lose track of everything, I dang wish I charged my phone and then I would've had more battery power and not waste time taking photos of everything there."

Lincoln smirks. "All good guys..." He then looks to his best friend. "Clyde?"

Clyde then goes over to Lincoln. "Lincoln, are you alright? Anything sore? Do you need some medication that I use? What is the state of your ordeal and anything internal broken?!"

Lincoln sighs. "Clyde..."

Harold comes next. "We'll need to make sure you continue laying down and calming your body, that method will allow your mind and body to heal and find a better and safer peace of thought, being stressed would be too much for you."

Lincoln is starting to get annoyed. "Clyde..."

Howard then checks the windows. "We also need to make sure you don't get too much lighting around here, chances you might cache a sun burn and it would cause some major skin problems, but we have something for that."

The door then opens and they see Dr. Kendrick walk in. "Wow. Didn't think that..." He then sees the McBride's. "Oh come on, you three again?! What will it take for you three to get the message and stop being around here to bother folks! Gosh dang it. I swear Dr. Lopez is not doing her job right on you three."

Harold and Howard then start talking to the doctor and then Clyde starts asking about the condition of Lincoln and this is getting on everyone's nerves and then Rita yells. "Alright, enough! Harold and Howard, shut it now!"

All of them are surprised by what Rita just did, then Lynn Sr speaks. "Guys, calm down. Lincoln won't be able to walk for the next two months. Apparently his spine needs to heal, they did repair it but he will need a wheel chair, and Luna will handle his needs and assist in..."

"Then he needs the proper treatment if he is to stay on the wheel chair" replied Harold. "We have some medicine that Dr. Lopez recommended for emergencies when one of us is unable to move our legs from something bad."

Howard then has something. "Also, we will make sure Luna gets the necessities needed to help Lincoln, along with checking on the wheel chair for any problems she might have, and also to transfer Lincoln to downstairs so that Lincoln won't hassle with going up the stairs."

All of them are not liking this and Dr. Kendrick prepares to call security, and Clyde goes over to talk to Lincoln. "Lincoln, I am sorry you went through that and I will help you in the school for anything you need, your best friend is here to..."

"Would you shut it Clyde!" yelled Lincoln, they all remain silent and he speaks. "Look, I get that everyone is concerned. But my parents and Luna have this covered, and also this thing with Clyde chumming up too much on me, is now making me feel like he sees me as something useless and weak and if I am gonna be honest, it makes me feel like he's treating me as his father's do."

Clyde is confused. "Lincoln, I wanna help you. We're bro's, and we stick together and we... Wait, are those new clothes over there?" He sees the bag from the other day and the clothes inside are different. "Wait, why are these clothes here? Lincoln, were you gonna change clothing?! Without me knowing?!"

Luna sighs. "I helped him choose that, because wearing the same thing over and over is way too obvious, I mean Leni suggested it and I am also wearing some different treads every day from now on. Grow up, Clyde."

Lincoln nods. "Luna has a point, Clyde I am not gonna be the same Lincoln Loud you have known for so long, and also during that incident of me being hit. I saw my whole life flash before my eyes and let me just say that... I am way too typical and obvious with my clothing, I literally wasted like a lot of time dressed the same and doing a lot of dumb stuff, troublesome stuff."

"And that's why it's all gonna change, as long as I'm around." Luna then hugs her brother. "I ain't gonna let you walk down the path of trouble and chaos, I'll be there to help you out, little brother."

Clyde is confused and then he asks. "What the heck happened here whole I was gone?!"

Lincoln departs from the hug with Luna, and he looks to Clyde. "Changes are coming and after what had gone down..." Lincoln holds the necklace close. "It seems right I accept the changes, and same with us. Also, to be honest Clyde, I never did tell you this... Luna was my first best friend."

"She understood me, she cared about me and way before we became friends, she was always there for me and kept me away from trouble, she always knew what would go down, but because of that concert she went to... Everything changed into something else."

"So, I suggest that you stop with the ideas of treating me as if you are your dad's, because I am not you. I have my own stuff, and you have yours. We are different at times and I guess it makes sense now when I say the name Clincoln McLoud... It sounds like a couple name."

All of them remain silent and then Liam speaks. "Took ya that long to figure that out." Stella then elbows him.

Zach then whispers to Rusty. "Glad we didn't make a name for us right dude?"

Rusty nods. "Yeah, I mean I love you man. But not in a different way, more like a bro's thing."

Clyde is so confused, and this concerns Harold and Howard. "Lincoln, I think the crash has gotten over your head a little, you don't mean those words" said Harold.

"Oh I do, and also as I am gonna be unable to walk for the next two months, don't even think about bothering my family about advice on medical treatment, they know what to do" replied Lincoln. "Seriously, is there any time when you guys don't meddle, and I wanna be honest because even though you two are great dads, you seem to go far and treat Clyde like he's the most fragile thing in the world."

Lisa agrees. "Their very behavior to Clyde such as that is not gonna turn well for his future, I can already see him continuing to live with his father's until they pass away and his chances of finding love would be a slim chance due to his father's being strict and picky with almost all of his safety ordeals."

Lori scoffs. "Literally has a point, at least Bobby has his own ways to get around stuff."

Clyde feels hurt hearing those words, and then the others all keep the McBride's from Lincoln, Jordan then speaks. "I think you guys need to go. Also, security is here."

Harold, Howard and Clyde see the security guards and they both look annoyed. "McBride's, this is the tenth time you three have been here, we got no choice but to ban you from ever coming into the hospital, because we can't have you three pestering the patients, again."

The McBride's are surprised to hear this. "Wait, what?! Harold tries to intervene. "But we just..."

Dr. Kendrick has an injection. "You guys can either leave here unconscious in your car or walk out, your choice McBride's, also I am calling Dr. Lopez to make sure to have a hard talk about meddling in other folks stuff, if she fails to do so and you three are at it again. Well, I don't know what would happen to her good and great therapist reputation."

The McBride's are surprised to hear this, and so they do as the doctor says and they take their leave, Clyde looks back at a disappointed Lincoln, but then he calls out. "We'll deal with this when I get out of here, Clyde." He then watches as Clyde and his dads are no longer in view and they all sigh in relief.

Everyone then goes over to see if Lincoln is doing alright, and then the boy looks to Luna and sees the tears on her face, and she holds his hand. "Change is coming, little brother, and I am not gonna let you handle problems alone. I promise."

Lincoln feels like what was lost long ago is returning, and yet he has this odd feeling that what Luna might do might not be so good either, but he has to wait and see where all of this goes.

"To be continued..."

A/N: Lincoln Loud is back, but he can't walk yet so that's a problem, but Luna at least will do her part to make sure that Lincoln is helped and assisted and the duo will try and rekindle the shattered bond, and a promise Luna will not break or forget, but let's see how far things could turn from possibly bad to worse and as for Clyde?
