Time to fast forward and see Lincoln Loud return home, and then settle with what is gonna be going down within the Loud House and some major changes going down between the loud sisters. Also, some small ordeals that Lincoln and Luna have to talk about, and some other talks that the sisters need to handle. Enjoy reading this new chapter guys!

"Luna's Forgotten Promise."

(Two Days Later, the Loud House.)

The day has come and thank goodness that the school day is done because all of the louds are back home and preparing for the return of their only brother/son, Lincoln Albert Loud, and the whole family is preparing the party needed for his comeback and they are not alone in this.

Some of the friends Lincoln Loud knows are there, and some friends the Louds know are there. Jordan, Stella, Sam, Sully, Mazzy, Chunk, Albert, Myrtle, Clyde, Rusty, Liam, Zach, Mollie, Kat, Trent, Artie, Lance, Chad, Richie, Carol, Dana, Becky, Jackie, Mandee, Maggie, Ruby, Polly, Margo, Haiku and the Young Morticians Club, Skippy, Winston, Meli Ramos, Beatrix, Darcy and even good old Mr. Grouse and the cantankerous neighbor is not there for the food, he's there to greet the boy a welcome home.

Lori looks around and sees everything is in place and she sighs in relief. "We have the decorations done and thanks to mom, Leni and the others. The food is all made and so many, dad and Clyde and Luan know what to do there, and then we have the gifts for Lincoln, though Luna did give him so much and I doubt he might be interested by what we have for him."

Lynn Sr finished making more of his famous Lynn-Sagna, and then he sees Clyde setting up the cake, and it has mostly chocolate models of himself with Lincoln. "Clyde, what the heck are you doing? This is supposed to be a welcome home cake. This doesn't look like one at all."

"Well, Mr. Loud, this cake represents me saying welcome back to being beds buds again and I can help..."

Luan then comes in with an actual cake, and it has all the Loud sisters, and his friends and family. "Now this is what Lincoln would go for, and it's double chocolate, with fudge and caramel cream." Lynn Sr claps and he looks at the small edible chocolate models of everyone.

"Wow! Now that is a cake, I am impressed, also I was wondering..."

Luan then shows her dad Mr. Coconuts. "Don't say it bub. Luan has her comedy talent, and she would rather go with what she got, also she has big plans to finish the script since she was picked as the next director for the upcoming play, try and do something and you'll be saying chomps away with me!"

Luan chuckles and heads back into the kitchen, Lynn Sr sighs and he also returns back to the kitchen to make the spaghetti and meat balls and then the pizza and then more lasagna. Clyde sees the cake and he didn't like this. 'I need to make sure that my cake will be enough to help Lincoln be the Lincoln I know...'

He tries to go near the cake, but then the twins block him and they have sunglasses. "What the heck?!" Lola and Lana, are you two being hall monitors again?"

Lola scoffs. "Back off, buddy. This cake is off limits and Lana and I have trained ourselves to not intervene with the food used for the party!"

Lana then speaks. "Dang right, and Stella, Jordan and the others told us about what was gonna happen with you being here and that's why Lori has all this setup and planned to keep you from causing anything else."

Clyde sees Lori at the living room and she glares at Clyde menacingly and then she heads off to see how Sam and the band are doing, and Clyde looks to Lola and Lana and he backs away. Lola then speaks. "Also, we are gonna be the hall monitors, for next week." she then high fives with Lana.

Then Waltz, Charles and Cliff jump onto Clyde's cake and it's ruined. "No! My cake!"

Lana then uses her walkie talkie. "We got a mess at the dining room, spilled cake via McBride." One of Lisa's robots shows up and cleans the mess, then Rusty and Liam come in and help clean the mess as well, and they are freaked out seeing the destroyed Lincoln and Clyde chocolate figurines.

Lynn Jr is upstairs and then she comes down with Lisa. "Lori, we finished setting up all the new games in Linc's room, he's so gonna love playing them."

Lisa nods. "Indeed and I have done some reworks on some of the games to fix the bugs so he won't have any problems, though some are online and the bugs cannot be hacked by me or I will be detected and in serious trouble."

Lori nods. "Excellent, we just need to wait for mom to come back with Lincoln, and Luna is also with them and she'll be the one who might push Lincoln around more than us." She then leaves the house and sees everything there is setup to look nice, and she sees Mr. Grouse using his leaf blower to get the leaves away and then he chases away a squirrel.

Lori sighs in relief. 'Lincoln is coming home, at last. This is gonna be something, and surely he'll love how things have been and the major changes to the roommate thing to make sure that Luna doesn't lose her cool. The room swap is the best plan I have ever made, and makes me feel like I picked up something from Lincoln's planning book.'

Lori then sees someone walk by her, and that person is Jordan Rosato and Lori remembers. 'From what Sam and Stella told me. I think I was literally wrong about Lincoln and Ronnie Anne, when the time comes I will talk to Bobby about this and tell him how wrong we were, and how horrible I have been towards Lincoln.'

'Looks like the whole accident of Lincoln getting hit has literally woke up a part of us, a part of us that wants to make up for past mistakes. Because the one thing we don't wanna have, is to lose the person we care for the most, mostly family and I don't wanna lose my little brother. He means a lot to me, and so do the others.'

Lori then sees a familiar vehicle. "Dang it! Clyde!" The others come outside and see this. "We told you not to have your fathers come here!"

Harold and Howard come out. "We got some special snacks for Lincoln to enjoy, mostly chicken nuggets and some cookies, made by us and also we took some steps in following Clyde's recipe."

Lucy and Lynn Jr take them, "We'll take the food, now beat it McBride's!"

"But, we wanna be here for when Lincoln comes home!" said Howard. "We also wanna do a background check on this lift that Lisa installed, we don't want any..."

"Are you saying that my invention is a dangerous thing to my brother when I already ran several tests and it works?!" yelled Lisa in anger.

"We're just being cautious and we want what is best for Lincoln" replied Harold.

Lynn Sr then stands up for his son and he hands the lasagna to Trent who then takes it back inside. "The only thing my son needs, and what is best for him is that you two get the heck outta here and don't come back!"

"Now, I know Rita and I respect you two as our friends, but when you two start meddling and making critical suggestions about how folks are living and how they should be cautious with what they have, then that is where the annoying part comes into play!"

"Have you any idea how many times a lot of folks have complained about you guys? I mean, we have complaints from others about what our kids do, and now that we're changing we are paying and owning up to those complaints and maing things right. Well, what have you two been doing?"

Harold and Howard don't know what to say about this, and then Lori grabs Clyde. "Clyde, you and your dads can leave now."

"What?! But, I wanna stay and be here for..."

"You're just gonna make things a whole lot worse dude" replied Rusty.

"To the fact you're obsessed to have Lincoln back to the Lincoln you know is kinda creepy" replied Zach.

Stella then speaks. "Lincoln wants to change, the whole car hit was a total mind and eye opener for him, and you wanting him to revert to the times when he caused trouble and made things a little bit better, is not what he wants to go back to. Leave him be, dude."

Clyde doesn't believe this, the friends he made alongside Lincoln are now on the side of Lincoln's choice in change. "Well, just you all wait! Lincoln will be back to being my best friend and he'll always be the same Lincoln, he'll be back to normal, I know it! All of you don't know him much as I do!"

"No!" Leni then confronts Clyde. "After some time and finally seeing the truth of memories from long ago and that I finally remember the history between Lincoln and Luna. She's the one who knows him better than you do, after all... Luna was his first best friend, and always will be."

"Tried to be his best friend, and it didn't work out for me" replied Lynn Jr with a tone of guilt. She then looks towards Clyde. "You on the other hand, you're taking things into what I would've done. Clyde, you need to get that head of your straight and wake up to the reality world."

"Because none of us can literally stay in the same plain of our misadventures and make believe, Clyde McBride" replied Lori sternly. "Now beat it, since you apparently didn't even promise to keep your helicoptering dads away."

Harold and Howard gasp. "We do not helicopter around our son too much!"

Lisa adjusts her glasses and she has recordings of what went down in the McBride house. "I beg to differ, perhaps we would all enjoy reliving the times all of you have been doing so many things into treating Clyde as if he were fragile China and not allowing him to make his own choices."

Lucy smirks. "Sounds like a social media news worthy story, Lisa. Dark and Grimm one too."

Harold and Howard are surprised by this, and so they head back into their van and Clyde is in tears and he heads into the vehicle as well and they drive off. They all sigh in relief and head back inside, but deep down Lori can tell that Clyde is gonna be planning something else next.

Just then Lori gets a text message and she is surprised. "Everyone! Lincoln is coming back! Finish off what you guys need to do!" They all head back inside and finish up everything.

Vanzilla then arrives, and coming out is Rita, and she looks to the sliding door of the vehicle and Luna comes out and she brings the wheel chair down and then she grabs her brother and she places him onto it carefully. "Thanks sis."

Luna smirks. "Anytime little brother." She then wheels him towards the house, and they see some balloons and streamers around the place. "Looks like the others made this place special for you, welcome back home Lincoln."

Lincoln smiles and then he asks. "Mom, did something bad happen while I was away?"

Rita then recalls what has gone down while Lincoln wasn't around. "Well, not much fighting for the twins, Lisa was too busy with the lift she made for you, and everyone else didn't even make any loud noise, right Luna?"

Luna nods. "Mom is right, also check this out." Luna uses the remote she has and the stairs turn into a ramp and Lincoln is amazed. "This will help avoid trouble you're gonna have when coming in and/or out of the house, alright Linc?"

"Dang, Lisa made this possible and awesome!" said Lincoln, he then gets wheeled into the house, and Rita opens the door for them. They then get a surprise cheer from everyone.

"Surprise! Welcome home, Lincoln Loud!"

Lincoln is amazed to see the decorations in his favorite colors, and he sees a lot of folks he knows and calls his friends and he sees Sam and the rest of the band performing an awesome musical tune based off of the theme song from the Ace Savvy movie.

"Wow. This is awesome everyone, thanks!" Lincoln is then greeted by everyone and all of the loud sisters come over and they all hug Lincoln, but not too tight so they don't hurt him, then Lincoln sees the cake. "Wow, now that is one awesome looking cake!"

They all back away and they allow Lincoln to go near the cake, though he does see some small stains on the table and he can tell that something did happen, and it may had something to do with another cake. Then the loud family look to each other and they nod, the time has come to tell Lincoln something important, and so Lori speaks.

"Lincoln, after some hard talking and meeting, and we're glad Luna didn't tell you what we all had planned. We all did a major and heavy duty roommate swap, and so... You, Lincoln Loud will be bunking with Luna, from now on. For the best."

All of them are surprised to hear this, and Lincoln looks to his big sister, and Luna has some tears of joy and chuckles. "That's right, little brother. We're gonna be roomies now, if that is alright with you."

Lincoln has tears and then Luna comes closer and they both embrace each other, and everyone claps hearing this, but then Lincoln realizes something. "Wait! Then, what about Luan?"

Lucy then speaks. "Lincoln, I at times like it when I am alone and since my phase of being away from the darkness is gone, I will accept being without a roommate, and Luan can bunker with Lynn."

Lynn then speaks. "I can be alright without, Luce change as my roomie. Also, I won't cause any damage as Luan is my roommate. Heck, I don't think I mind Luan and her sleep joke mode, because apparently I got used to sleeping when someone is mumbling in their sleep."

"Recall the time I played baseball and I was sleepy, and yet I managed to play the game and win it for the team!" She then high fives with Polly and Margo, then Margo recalled something else.

"Then you walked around swinging your bat, and it took the smell of a spicy burger to wake you up." Everyone remains silent and they remember that one, Lynn Jr chuckles nervously and she recalls they got sued when she struck the umpire when the game was over.

Luan then speaks. "Don't worry about it Lincoln. I got Lynn something she can use, the noise-b-gone ear buds you used, only these ones are for her to hear the motivational words from sports players." she hands them to Lynn Jr and she is surprised, and then Lynn hugs Luan. Luan chuckles and hugs her back.

Lincoln sighs in relief and he is surprised by this. "Wow. You girls are going above and beyond to make these changes, and I think I understand why." Lincoln looks to the necklace around his neck. "Since everything is clear now, and with some long forgotten memories and promises coming back..."

Lincoln then looks towards Luna. "Change is a good thing for this house and to all of us." He then looks to his legs. "Well, this kinda change is not what I expected and do not like at all."

Luna goes over and she hugs her brother. "Don't worry about it, bro. I got you, as long as your big sister and the rest of us are around, then you won't feel useless and we will do what we can to help you around, and I know that deep down you wanna do your part and help us around the house."

Leni then speaks. "But we don't want you to push yourself too much, you might hurt yourself even more. So, allow us to do most of the work that is necessary and might be a little bit too much for you."

"I can also last two months without you playing with me" replied Lola.

"Same here" replied Lana. "And, I'll keep my animal friends away so they don't do any more harm."

"We all have your back bro, and we're not gonna let you go down this bad time you're gonna go through" replied Lori.

Lincoln is in tears hearing this. "Oh, you girls." They all come over and join in the group hug, and this makes the others have tears and clap at this touching moment, seeing how Lincoln cares for his sisters and how much they care about him is a heartwarming sight.

Then Lisa speaks. "Also, Luna or Lori or Leni will need to bathe you or at least change you out of your clothes, and also be there when you need to use the bathroom."

They all stop clapping and everything remains silent and Rita sighs. "Not the best time Lisa."

(Later in the Day.)

Lincoln is inside of his bedroom and on his wheel chair and playing one of the new video games on his computer, inside the bedroom from which he now shares with Luna. He is surprised that a lot of her musical instruments are not there anymore, he is concerned but Luna did assure him that she's chill with this. This is also part of her punishment for what has gone down.

Lincoln is currently enjoying the video game: League of Legends and he is enjoying how the game works and he is also eating a plate of lasagna which is left over from the party, and there is still a lot of left overs, which means Lynn Sr doesn't have to cook dinner with all that food still there.

Lincoln even looks to all of his action figures and he smirks at everything, and he is touched to see a portrait of himself and Luna on the wall back when they were little kids, and it makes him recall memories. Just then his game speaks.

"You have been slain."

Lincoln realizes. "Dang it." He then waits for his character "Twisted Fate" to come back and he can join back into the fight.

Meanwhile, the loud sisters are all having a meeting in the bedroom of the eldest in the family. Lori then slams her shoe on the table as if it were a gabble. "Alright, so Lincoln is back home and we're all super happy to have him back. Now, mom and dad are still handling the whole law suit onto the McCann's for what that little brat said about our brother!"

Lynn Jr growls. "I wanna find that jerk, and give him an ultimate wedgie that is so hard he'll scream for the rest of his life!"

"I am so gonna pour hot tea and bad scones in his mouth and also give him a beat down he will never forget!" yelled Lola.

Leni then intervenes. "Everyone calm down. Let mom and dad settle this, now we have other pressing matters to attend to." Lisa on the other hand is impressed that Leni is trying to smarten up and stray away from the old Leni Loud who couldn't even solve a four-piece puzzle.

Lori then speaks. "So, we all know what we should do as Lincoln is now back home right? So, no fighting and no arguments because Lincoln would end up trying to resolve the outcome and he might get caught into the crossfire, and it has been happing for a long time now."

They all know that one, such as the Brawl in the Family ordeal, and deep down Lori and Leni feel bad because they started it and all of them are grateful that they all agreed to get rid of the sister fight protocol.

Leni then speaks. "We also don't have to pester Lincoln with our wants and needs, the rest of us older sisters are around and so are mom and dad and we can ask them, even if it means escorting the others to the Park, got it guys?" They all nod.

Luan then speaks. "I will make puns and continue with small pranks, but I won't go with heavy duty pranks, for Lincoln's sake. I will also need someone to aid me in my Funny Business, and thankfully Giggles has volunteered to be my apprentice in clowning."

Lynn Jr speaks next. "I won't be making any attempts to have Lincoln do some sports with me, and if he does recover then I won't pester him to follow my steps in regaining walking strength and allow someone who is a total pro to handle the job." Deep down, she wants to help her brother.

Lucy is next to speak. "I won't be popping out of nowhere, I don't want Lincoln to panic and fall off of his wheel chair. Also, I informed Fangs and the other bats to avoid going near my brother, or else they won't be allowed back into the house ever again. But, can I still ask Lincoln for stuff that rhymes for my poems?"

Lori nods. "Of course, Luce. He would always have time to help you with that, but if he is busy with something else then please don't bother him." Lucy nods, she knows when not to intervene when Lincoln has something else to do.

Then Lucy recalls something. "Also, he is gonna be on the wheel chair and he might still be responsible to look after the rest of us, but I will do my part and help watch over Lola, Lana and Lisa. To be as responsible as Lincoln." All of them are touched to hear this, Lucy wants to be as responsible as her big brother and watch over the little sisters.

Lola is the next to speak. "I'll tone down on the fights with Lana, and I won't ask Lincoln to play with me until he can walk or if he wants to volunteer in playing with me. Also, I'll try not to leave my stuff lying around. I don't want his wheel chair to be snagged by my ribbon."

Lana nods. "I will keep all of my animal friends away, and also try not to go into dumpsters or he might wanna lecture me, and also I won't ask him to help me feed the pets. I will also make sure that if his wheel chair needs some fixing, I'll see what I can do and ask someone to help Lincoln around."

Lisa speaks next. "All further experiments I have will be put on hold to avoid any explosions, and also I will not attempt to make a medicine that could heal Lincoln, the art of medicine is not in my forte otherwise I'd be confined in juvenile detention facility local to our town. Also, if Lincoln needs help with school work then I shall kindly oblige in assisting him."

"Also, I have installed new cameras that will monitor our brother and under the request from Luna, there will be special hidden cameras within the wheel chair of our brother and it is linked to her phone, and also to Leni and Lori's phones to keep an eye on what he is doing. He won't even know that they are there."

Lisa then sees Lily pulling on her shirt. "Oh yes, I nearly lost track of something else. Lily will not be bothering Lincoln much, unless she wishes to comfort him from something." All of them awe hearing that and see Lily clapping and happy to do her part. Lisa then speaks. "Also, we do not make Lincoln change Lily's diaper. His current state is in no position to do so."

"And my other idea was to make a special hover chair for Lincoln, but I chose not to otherwise it'll malfunction and go wrong, many of my ideas are now being looked upon by myself and I am assessing the possible outcomes on how horrible they could fail. I guess I am not fully the prodigy I thought I was, for I also make mistakes... Monumental ones to be exact."

All of them are glad that these changes are coming to all of them, then Lori looks to Luna. "Luna? Are you aware of your part?" they all look to Luna, and she is facing away from them as she sits on Leni's bed and she looks to her own necklace with the photo of herself when she carried Lincoln for the first time. "Luna?"

Luna sighs and is annoyed. "Yeah, yeah. I know. I know my part that I have to be there mostly for him, I did this and there is no dang way am I breaking the promise I made towards him, you don't have to keep reminding me. Because I already know what I gotta do to make things dang right, and not just the state he is in."

Luna then turns around and she glares at Lori. "Are we done yet, Lori?"

Lori sighs and she hits her shoe on the table. "Meeting dismissed, you may all go now." They all take their leave from the bed room, but all of them are concerned about Luna, then Lori and Leni go over to talk to their sister. "Luna, we need to talk about the way you have been acting up."

Luna sighs and is annoyed. "What about it?"

Leni then speaks. "This side of you is not right, and it's scaring some of us. We get that you wanna make up for what went down with Lincoln, but we wanna do our part too and be there for him, he is not your burden to carry on, Luna."

Lori agrees. "Leni is literally legit right. You might have some role to play in assuring Lincoln is all fine and dandy, but we wanna be there and assist with what he needs. You are not the only older sister, Lincoln has Luna."

Luna stops walking and she scoffs. "Funny, weird how you would say that from the many other times where you threaten Lincoln and force him into dang stupid stuff that the "Ms. Born first" wants him to do."

Lori is baffled by this. "Excuse me?!" All the others are surprised she would say that. Lori feels furious, but she calms down and she knows that Luna is right. "Lunes, calm down and let's talk about this. We know we have all had our part to play in many of Lincoln's misadventures, but we wanna make up for them too, because of you."

Leni nods. "You wanting to be there and rekindle and fix the bond with Linky is sweet, and it kinda woke us up into wanting to make up for the past mistakes, we wanna make our own promises to Lincoln so that it never ever happens again and one of them is apologizing for eating all the chocolate he needed for his school business project." The other nervously look down and feel ashamed from that.

Luna sighs. "Do what you girls want, and count me out of everything you gals do, because I ain't going unless Lincoln is coming with. I am not part of this sister hive mind ordeal anymore and I won't take part in whatever mockery you girls would do one day. Lincoln needs the big sister he knew and loved back then, and you all don't know the broken and forgotten promises I have sinned out."

Luna then walks away from them and she goes into the bedroom she shares with Lincoln, to keep an eye on him as she is doing her school work, and the others outside are now truly concerned... The state Luna in, might not be good for the rest of the louds, and they hope Lincoln could notice and resolve this before it goes too far.

Lori sighs and she has this message on her phone from Bobby.

Boo-Boo Bear:
Babe, I'm gonna come to Royal Woods this Saturday and I will be bringing Ronnie Anne with me to hear what this is all about, see you soon babe.

Lori sighs. 'Dang it, I hope this works otherwise it's not gonna end well for all of us.' She then has an idea. 'Perhaps I should talk with that Girl Jordan and see what she could do, and I need to know something about her to see that f what Sam and Stella said is true. IS there a spark of a relationship deep within our little brother, and the popular girl in Royal Woods Elementary School?'

Lori then walks back into her bedroom and she sees Leni with a magazine. "Lori, this could solve the problem we both have." She then shows her the contents of the magazine, are about good deals on cars for them to purchase, and the two older girls get to checking out all the different kinds of rides.

A/N: Welcome back home Lincoln Loud and it seems like everyone in the Loud House are prepared for what they have to do to ensure nothing wrong goes on with their brother, and Luna and her part might be something else, while a certain best friend is gonna be up to no good to get his best friend back.
