Next day and it is time for Lincoln Loud to go back to school and see what he missed out, and also not participate in some stuff going around the place. But, he will be facing some troublesome moments, such as: a best friend being desperate, troublesome bullies and an older sister coming over to watch over him. This is gonna be rough. Enjoy reading this everyone.
"Luna's forgotten promise."
(The Loud House, Franklin Avenue.)
The morning is here, and Lincoln is going down the stairs using the chair lift, and it isn't going slow, but instead his seat is goin at the moderate speed of a normal person walking, and Luna follows behind with his wheel chair being carried.
Lincoln notices this. "Luna, there is an attachment system for the wheel chair to be lifted by this as well. I don't have to always rely using this chair. I can just strap the wheel chair on and allow the lift to bring it up and down the stairs."
Luna smiles. "Look, that does sound like a pretty chill idea, but I don't wanna risk too much with you still unable to walk. Alright, buddy? I just know this is the right way to do so, and allow someone else who is older to bring the wheel chair around, I don't mind and neither do the others. But don't let the younger ones handle the wheel chair lifting if we're not nearby, alright Linc?"
Lincoln nods. "Yeah, I understand and I like this new attire, makes me feel kinda almost normal."
Lincoln's new attire: A white polo with orange coloring around the collar and sleeves, a dark orange sweater vest and black jeans with a white and black striped belt, purple sneakers with orange and white stripes. He also still has the silver necklace.
Lincoln soon makes it to ground level and so Luna sets up the wheel chair and she helps her brother get on it and then she wheels him into the dining room and it looks like all of their sisters are there and they all greet Lincoln. "Good morning Lincoln!"
Lincoln chuckles. "Good morning everyone. So, what's for breakfast?" Luna then sits next to him, with Leni being on the other side where Lincoln is and she hands him his plate of waffles. "Awesome, and also I managed to finish all of my school work, there's no need to help me Lisa."
Lisa nods. "Excellent work dear brother, and I assume you knew what to do because you have been known as a moderate graded student within your class, am I correct?"
"You know it, Lisa." Lincoln then enjoys his food and then he realizes something. "Oh wait, does anyone here have any events to go to or anything important?" All of them are surprised he would ask that. 'Sorry, I just... it has been some time since I have been hanging out with you girls and the hospital was super boring."
Lynn Jr then speaks. "Well, I got a big roller derby game this weekend if you wanna come along, and I think Lola has a..."
"No need to be concerned, Linky. I can handle it, Lori said she'll help me with that and I have chosen a special book that could teach me the ways of pageantry, the very same one you used" replied Lola.
Lincoln smiles. "Good for you, Lola and Lynn I will be there, also whose driving us to school?"
They can tell that he is asking questions due to the fact he cannot do anything in his current state. Lori then speaks. "Allow me to drive you guys to school, and Luna told me that her friend Chunk is gonna assist in picking her up from school and then coming to pick you up."
Luna nods. "I did talk to Chunk the other day during the whole party and he said he was chill with picking both of us up from school, no worries."
"Yeah, there's nothing to be concerned about Lincoln." Rita goes over and kisses his forehead. "I'll hitch a ride with one of my friends, and you're father is already left to the restaurant to handle stuff. He got a ride from Kotaro." She then checks the time. "Well, I need to go, my ride is here. See you kids later."
Rita then leaves the house and all of them say goodbye to her and then they continue to enjoy the food.
Lincoln is surprised by so many changes. "Dang, this week just got a whole lot interesting, sorta." He then continues to eat his food and then Luna wipes his cheek which had some syrup on it. "Thanks sis." Luna chuckles and she returns to eating her food and the other louds already can see that the start of Luna being around Lincoln has already begun.
Lori and Leni then recall what they have to do. 'When the time comes, everyone will be amazed by what we chose for rides, and we are so glad we got the best deals to buy these awesome set of wheels. This could change everything and allow us to help drive the others to place they need to go.'
Then Lincoln realizes something and he scowls. "Oh gosh dang it."
Luna is confused and concerned. "What?! What is it, Linc?"
Lincoln sighs. "I forgot to ask if Ronnie Anne or maybe Sid are aware of what has gone down here, heck I don't think I had any messages from them lately."
Lori smiles. "Well, don't worry Lincoln. Bobby is coming over this weekend and he is bringing Ronnie Anne, we have some major stuff to discuss and also I wanna talk to this Girl Jordan... I mean, Jordan Rosato and see what she is all about."
Lincoln is confused about this and then he asks his older sister. "Ummm, okay? Sure... Am I part of this talk you're gonna have with Jordan?"
Lori shakes her head in denial. "Nope, nothing like that. I just wanna talk some important stuff to her, about something that has gone down for a long, long while. No need to be worried Lincoln." She then returns to feeding Lily.
Lincoln is still confused, and so are the others. Leni on the other hand understand what that is all about, and Luna is starting to get suspicious about Lori and her intentions to talk with one of Lincoln's friends. 'If she starts ranting about my little bro being with Santiago and the whole break up Bobby thing, then she has to answer to me. Lori doesn't scare me anymore, I'm stronger than she is.'
They all continue their breakfast, but in a form of some ominous silence. Lucy looks around and she knows things aren't gonna be the same around here. 'As much as I like this moment of silence, I can tell this week is gonna be filled with even more chaos than before.'
(Royal Woods Elementary School.)
Vanzilla arrives, and then the slide doors open and Luna comes out and she sets up the wheel chair, and then she helps Lincoln on it. "Thanks sis."
Luna nods. "Anytime, little brother." Then she asks. "You want me to wheel ya to the school?"
"No need" replied Lincoln. "I can manage, Luna. I got everything handled and no need to worry about it, also I can ask my friends to help me... Just as long as it's not Clyde. I fear he might be coming up with something that could backfire on both of us."
Luna and the others are concerned hearing that, they didn't wanna see Lincoln go through whatever it is might go on in there, soon Lincoln wheels himself to the school and he is joined by another kid on the wheel chair, named Hassan and the duo head towards the school.
Lola, Lana, Lucy and Lisa walk out of the van and then make their way to the school as well, they look back to Luna who continues to watch over Lincoln who is with a friend he knows. Lucy is concerned about this. 'Chances Luna might end up coming here if she sees what is on the cameras on Lincoln's wheel chair.'
Luna smiles watching her brother make friends with someone who is sorta in the same ordeal as he is, and yet she feels like she should be with him. She backs up and goes into vanzilla and she closes the door, the others look towards Luna who is showing no signs to talk to anyone.
They all didn't like where this was going, and Lori needs to talk to the one person whom Luna Loud is closest to next to Lincoln Loud. Samantha "Sam" Sharp.
Meanwhile, Lincoln is inside the school alongside Hassan and he arrives to his locker while Hassan heads off to his own and then Lincoln is confronted by Stella, Jordan, Liam, Rusty, Zach, Lance, Trent, Artie, Chad and some of Jordan's friends: Kat, Mollie, Joy and Sadie.
"Hey dude, so how was the whole new roommate thing?" asked Zach.
"All good, all good" replied Lincoln, he then opens his locker and grabs some books. "Luna did help me to the bathroom, several times and though it was awkward, it felt kinda normal with her being around trying to help me. Like, old times."
Stella smirks. "Well, Luna wants to make up for the lost times you guys lost from the bond and promises. She'll be around to make sure nothing goes wrong."
"A part of me can tell it might not go so well" replied Liam with concern.
All of them look towards Liam and Lincoln asks. "What do you mean, Liam?"
Liam then explains. "Well, when ya think about it. Luna will be trying her best to help you out, and that time of her being around too much will literally be too much and both of you will have some complications in that form." All of them are surprised he knew those words. "What? I saw it on TV when there was nothing on, and Virginia wanted to watch it and I didn't wanna, then I got glued into the show."
Jordan then thinks about what Liam had just said. "Well, he is not wrong there. Linc, you need to be ever watchful on whatever it is Luna is gonna be doing, just try to ease her up so she doesn't make it all about you 24/7. Alright?"
Lincoln nods. "I know what to do..." He then looks towards Lance, Trent, Artie and Chad. "Also, the game of League of Legends was awesome, and we aced it like dang champions guys. My first time playing and I freaking won!"
Lance chuckles. "That was beginners luck, you are bound to get into some more trouble when we face other players who are more experienced than us, and we can always play something else next time."
"We can try Battlefield." They see Chad eating a breakfast sandwich. "What? My parents had to go to their work so they packed me my breakfast, and this is good stuff."
"So, any chances we can play with you guys?" asked Rusty.
Lincoln thinks about this. "Well, the game is free to play and you need to make an account and learn the ropes on how the game works. I did just that and handled it smoothly, I already like the champion I picked, but I wanna try some others good for mid-lane engagement and one-on-one fights."
They all continue down the hallway and talk about what has gone down and how things have been for Lincoln at his house, they then see Tabby walk by and she doesn't look so positive and not even wearing her headphones. "Hey, Tabby" Lincoln greeted.
Tabby turns around and she smiles and waves. "Good to see ya, Linc. Welcome back." She then walks off and Liam sighs seeing this.
"She's been like this ever since she got word about what went down, Lincoln. Tabby has lost all the rock n' roll stuff that she saw within Luna, looks like your big sister planted a major impact, and Tabby still blames Luna for what went down. Even with the photo Stella and Sam posted on the internet."
Lincoln is concerned to hear this. "Well, looks like a problem has already come here for me to try and handle." the others didn't like where this was going, then they see someone rushing towards them, and they know who he is and Lincoln sighs. "Speaking of things to handle, I got this guys." Lincoln wheels himself forward to confront his best friend, Clyde McBride.
"Lincoln, you made it! Also, I have something that would be good for the both of us even though I might not wanna partake in it. We can go to the next show of the Amazing Brailster, and if you want I can reason with the magician to have you volunteer on stage and..."
"You do realize where I am right now, right?" Lincoln crosses his arms and Clyde sees the wheel chair.
Clyde then realizes and he tries to talk his way out of this. "Well, perhaps you could sit by the crowd and clap and enjoy the show? Or perhaps we can do something else... Like we can watch a movie, or maybe even..."
"Are you trying to get me to lose track of what has been going on and return to the Lincoln Loud you already have come to know?" asked Lincoln sternly and everyone else goes over to confront Clyde.
Clyde sees Lincoln in his new attire, and the necklace around his neck. "Why are you wearing those clothes and a necklace?"
Lincoln sighs. "Clyde, we've been through this already. I wanna change and make different things in my life, why else am I wearing these clothes, they make me feel comfortable and kinda normal for a change, and also this necklace is the symbol that reminds me that Luna and I have a bond, stronger than you ever know."
"Because you two were best friends way before you met Clyde right?" asked Rusty.
Zach elbows him. "Not the best time, dude."
Lincoln then speaks. "No, no. Rusty is right." Lincoln then looks towards Clyde. "Clyde, you are my best friend when I need to or have to deal with or perhaps when I wanna hang out, but you have to understand that I wanna try and rekindle some lost moments with the sister who was my first ever friend, and best friend."
"I will have time to hang out with you, but we have a lot of stuff different from each other's likings and we cannot just stick to one thing to like for a long time. You have to understand that, and I cannot always be there to hang out with you, and a lot has changed after the accident and I am willing to commit to changes."
"You need to try and tone it down and stop trying to get me to become the Lincoln Loud you knew and recognized back then. Sometimes you have to let the past go and grow up, and I am willing to do that. The only issue is you, Clyde. When it comes to change, you don't take it too easily and you can't handle it as well as I am dealing right now, because you don't know what it is like to be me."
Everyone gasps hearing this and Clyde feels hurt hearing this. "Times are changing Clyde, you can either be part of the change, or fall behind and try to do something to myself or my sisters or Luna, then you're gonna be making the biggest and dumbest mistake of your life." Lincoln then wheels himself away from Clyde, and the others follow and are impressed.
Clyde turns around and sees Lincoln and the others walking away. "Lincoln?" Deep down, he has a lot to contemplate and sort out, otherwise he's gonna lose a lot of folks he all knew as his friends. 'Am I doing the right thing? Am I even making the right choices? I need to sort this out, and rethink all of my options.'
Lincoln then recalls something and he looks towards Jordan. "Oh, Jordan. My sister Lori told me that she wanted to talk to you. That is if you have the time." He then hands her the number. "This is her number, and she asked me before we left the house for your number and I still have it. Are you alright with this?"
Jordan is confused hearing this. "Ummm, alrighty then." she takes the number and she is so flustered. 'Now what in the heck would the High School ace Golf player want to talk about with me?' she doesn't notice that her friends and Stella know what this is all about and they chuckle and snicker.
As they continue to walk to class, Chandler and his two friends see Lincoln and Chandler is not pleased. "Looks like the Larry is back, after what went down days ago... He is the very reason why I am the laughing stock and hated by everyone else."
Dennis then asks. "Dude, you wanna pick on someone who can't even walk?"
Patrick then speaks. "That sounds kinda dark man."
Chandler scoffs. "So what? He's faking it for sure. No way he's on that wheel chair. He's making everyone think he can't walk to get the attention, well I am not gonna let him take away my popularity level. He's nothing but a Larry the Loud Loser."
Dennis and Patrick can already see that Chandler might have lost his marbles, big time!
(Time Skip, Lunch Time.)
All of them are enjoying their lunch and Lincoln enjoyed his time at class and was given a table since he was on his wheel chair and he didn't have to use the bathroom until after class where he was helped by Rusty, and then Zach, and then Liam, and then Trent. He's glad he has good friends.
They then proceed to trade lunches, but then Clyde comes in. "Alright, lunch trade traffic is underway." He then looks to Lincoln and he nods, and this is a good sign for them to notice that Clyde is gonna do his part, and get over what has gone down and accept what is happening.
Then Jordan comes in. "Mind if I join you guys?"
"That depends, do you got something to trade for my Tuna?" asked Zach.
They all slowly scooch away from Zach. "Dude. You're mom has to stop packing that lunch for you" replied Rusty. "Also, who wants my potatoes and cheese sticks?"
"I'll take them, I got a ham and egg and bacon sandwich" replied Lincoln. The two then trade and Clyde handles the rest, and he looks to Zach and has an idea.
"Here, Zach. Take my apple pie and I'll take the tuna, and no I am not pushing to change. I actually am low on my omega-3 from what my dad's said. They couldn't get any fish because when they arrive at the market or supermarket they are out of stock."
Stella then recalls. "Well, that problem is because a lot of restaurant have been planning on some big time fish and sea food week, chances your dad is doing the same thing?"
Lincoln then recalls. "Oh, now I understand. That's why my dad left to go to the restaurant early. Well, looks like sea food will be served at Lynn's Table and who knows what he might make." He then looks towards Clyde. "Everything chill there, Clyde?"
They all look towards the McBride boy and they don't notice the camera locking onto him and listening to what he has to say. Clyde then speaks. "After some hard thinking, and calling Dr. Lopez on the phone in the bathroom, I have chosen to now accept the changes and stray away from my actions."
"My plans were to try and get Lincoln back to his usual self, and all because I was getting hurt inside. Then I realized that my actions are just gonna hurt others, mostly Lincoln and Luna, and I don't think what I have planned is a good thing. So, Lincoln Loud... I will accept these changes, and also try to change myself."
All of them are happy to hear this. "The one obstacle that would be in the way, would be my dad's..." They all stop smiling and they realizes that he is right. "But, by the time I do make it back home, I am gonna have a long and very well-thought out discussion with them about meddling and treating me as if I am fragile. Perhaps making my own choices is a good start for change."
Zach and Rusty chuckle and high five him. "Oh yeah, independent new Clyde McBride!"
Clyde chuckles. "Hold it with those words, boys. Not into the... Chandler?" They see Chandler and he pulls Lincoln and his wheel chair away from the others. "Hey!"
Lincoln is confused and he spilled the food Rusty gave him. "What the heck?! Chandler what the heck are you doing?!"
Chandler growls. "You made me in trouble, and all because you had an accident crash that should've made you leave this school forever!" Everyone is now outraged by his words. "Also, you're faking it!"
Everyone remains silent. Lincoln is confused. "What the heck are you talking about?"
Chandler is angered by this. "Don't play dumb with me, Larry. You're faking this whole thing, all the footage on the internet was all some dumb lie! Larry Loud can walk, he's faking it and every last one of these idiots in school fell for your dumb and sick plans, well not me!"
"And I am gonna prove it, and show everyone that Larry the stupid Loser Loud is a fake, and he can walk!" Chandler is about to go over and confront Lincoln, the 11-year old loud boy didn't think this would go down on his return to school.
Just then, Dennis and Patrick intervene. "Hey man, I think you're going too far!" said Patrick.
"Hurting someone on a wheel chair is wrong, and it hurts for me because my uncle is on one!" said Dennis.
"Screw you're uncle!" yelled Chandler. "You two are on my side, what the heck are you two doing siding with that loser, when clearly he is just faking it?!"
"He is not!" The rest of the younger louds come over to handle this, and the one who spoke was Lana. "Lincoln did get into an accident and it is all true! You're just jealous that he got attention that you wanted more jerk!"
"Sounds a lot like me, and I am not going back down that bad road!" yelled Lola. "You sir have no class and no rights to do that to our big brother, we're not gonna let you hurt him!"
"You will have to get through us if you want to get to Lincoln, and his name is not Larry you dork!" yelled Lucy. Then the Young Morticians Club shows up and backs them up.
"The very actions you are causing will only ensue more complications and put deep trouble within your family name, McCann" replied Lisa sternly. "Do not make things far worse for you than you already have dome days ago!"
Chandler is now getting ticked off by this and a lot of students are recording the whole ordeal, and Trent, Lance, Artie and Chad are slowly trying to sneak over to take down Chandler before he goes too far. Chandler can see them from the reflection from one of the trays on the floor and he grab the tray and hits all three of them. "Larry Loser is faking it!"
Chandler then races forward to go after Lincoln, but the Young Morticians Club get in the way but he slips by them and then he pushes the twins and Lisa aside, and this prompts Dennis and Patrick to help them, but then Chandler bypasses them and Lincoln tries to wheel himself out of there.
But it is too late, and Lincoln is knocked off of his wheel chair and everyone gasps and this triggers Jordan to go over and stop this, but then Chandler throws a fork at her and it hits her arm and she goes down and tries to yank it off of her arm, and then her friends try and help her.
Lincoln sees this and he is angered. "What the heck is wrong with you, Chandler?!" He tries to punch Chandler on the leg, but Chandler kicks him in the face and Lincoln holds his cheek and feels the bruise and he spits out a tooth.
"Now, to prove he can feel his legs and that he can still walk!" Chandler pulls out a kitchen knife, which he stole from the kitchen earlier, and the lunch ladies were wondering where that knife went. "This will prove that he is a total loser, and always will be!"
Chandler is about to stab Lincoln on his right leg, but then something glows from behind Chandler. "Hey!" The boy turns around and he gets struck in the head by a cafeteria lunch tray and the one who did that is Luna Loud, and she came through a portal. "Never hurt my brother!" She then goes over and helps Lincoln.
Lola and Lana help with the wheel chair and Luna brings Lincoln to sit on it, but then he asks. "Luna? Wait, how the heck did you get here?" He then sees the portal. "Lisa's invention?"
Luna nods. "She gave it to me for emergencies, and how I knew about this is because there are cameras on your wheel chair... So yeah, I saw everything..." He looks to Clyde, and the McBride boy looks away and feels embarrassed. Luna then looks towards her brother. "I told you I'd be there to... AAAARGH!" Luna stumbles and falls to the ground, and she has been struck by a knife on her right shoulder.
Chandler is already up and he threw the knife. "Stupid loser louds! You'll pay for this!" Chandler tries to attack them and Lincoln tries to defend Luna, but then a dodge ball is struck onto Chandler, and he is knocked out. They see Coach Pokawski and Principal Huggins.
"Good aim there, coach!" Principal Huggins high fives and fist bumps coach Pokawski.
"Thanks, I knew something was wrong when I heard a commotion, and I didn't have time to clean up the dodge balls so I just raced here with a few in my hands, convenient that I had them with me!" They go over and help sort this out.
Nurse Patti arrives and she helps with the injuries suffered by Lincoln, Jordan and Luna. Principal Huggins sees the portal and is confused, then he sees Luna having the knife removed from her back and Lisa grabs the remote and turns off the portal. "Alright, that makes sense."
Principal Huggins looks onto Chandler. "Looks like someone just got himself expelled, and also sent away for possibly a long time." Coach Pokawski then goes over and he restrains Chandler with a zip tie and takes him away. "Also, I need someone with video evidence to show to..."
"I got the whole thing sir." Jenny (Brownie QT) goes over and shows him the footage. "I was trying out my new camera, and I got the whole thing. But chances what went down will be all over the internet."
Principal Huggins nods. "That'll do, come with me. The McCann's and Louds will wanna see this, and I question why Luna Loud is here. She is not a student in this school." They head out of the cafeteria, and the others begin to talk about what had gone down, and how bloody it would've ended up. Haiku and the other Goth's didn't like where this was going, despite they like the sight of blood.
Luna is in pain, but she maintains herself in pushing her brother and Nurse Patti sees he has some blood on his mouth, obviously from the kick he got to his face, and Jordan is whimpering in pain from where the fork was jabbed into her arm, and they escort them to the Nurse's office with the younger Louds following, while Chandler is unconscious and carried by the coach to Principal Huggins office, and they are calling the Louds, The McCann's and the rosato's about this.
Clyde does see some blood drops, in which came from Luna and he can tell that things aren't gonna go so well for Lincoln and Luna Loud. 'I might be fine with change now, but I can already see that with new change, comes new trouble and problems.'
"To be continued..."
A/N: Lincoln's return to school... Turns into a total catastrophe and that was way too close, and thank goodness that Clyde is not gonna be making his schemes to make Lincoln his best friend again, and as for Chandler McCann? Well, he won't be around to make trouble. But to the fact Luna showed up to save her brother seemed to be a good thing and also a very questionable thing. Leave a review and tell me what you all think guys.
