Now to handle Bobby Santiago, and also have some back up in the form of Ronnie Anne Santiago, and Lori will do what she should've done long ago and stand up tall against her boyfriend and his former breakup ordeals and other stuff he has done, and also some talks that Luna wants with her parents and Lori about something she could use and need. So, enjoy reading this new chapter everyone.
"Luna's forgotten promise."
(The Loud House, Franklin Avenue Royal Woods, Michigan.)
The Casagrandes Mercado Van is already here, and the vehicle parks next to Lori's car, and the duo within are Bobby and Ronnie Anne Santiago and they look around and see how everything has changed. "Wow. Looks like they get some changes, and those cars... I think one of them is Lori's!" said Bobby. He looks around the car. "Wow. She is so lucky to have an awesome looking ride."
"I'll say." Ronnie Anne then sees the other car. "Also, I think that one is Leni's, and I thought she wasn't the brightest to even do something."
Bobby chuckles. "Well, I guess she learned a thing or two and I think Lori helped with that one. She is always so helpful, I can't wait to show Lori what I have for her." Bobby has chocolates and flowers for Lori. "She'll so love this, and then we can talk about how things have been going."
Ronnie Anne is less than pleased to hear that. "Alright, let's go and see them." They both go up to the door of the Loud House and then Ronnie Anne rings the door bell and soon enough the door opens and they see who answered it, and it is Lori Loud.
"Babe!"
"Bobby Boo-Boo Bear!"
Bobby and Lori embrace each other and then Bobby shows her what she got for her. "I got these on a good price and all for you, babe." she then hands Lori the chocolates and flowers, and she looks to the light blue box of chocolates and Lori has hearts in her eyes seeing this.
"Oh Bobby... You are so thoughtful and..." She then hears someone clearing her throat and Lori sees Luna with her arms crossed and she looks stern. "Oh, right..." She then allows them to come inside. "Come on in guys, glad you guys made it because we have a lot to talk about and it is super important." Lori looks to Luna and she nods, so Luna heads to the backyard to get her brother and his friend.
Bobby and Ronnie Anne walk inside and then Ronnie Anne asks. "So, where the heck are the others?"
"At their usual events and weekend times with their friends, and Lincoln will be here soon with his friend from the backyard, Leni is in the bedroom readying something for Reiningers next week, I chose not to bother her at this time and let her concentrate" replied Lori, she then closes the door and she goes over to the living room and watches as Bobby and Ronnie Anne sit on the couch.
"The new car looks amazing babe, though I do gotta wonder... You haven't messaged me in days, what the heck is going on, Lori?" asked Bobby.
Lori sighs and she is about to tell them, but then they see Lincoln on a wheel chair pushed by Luna and Jordan is with them. "Hello, Ronnie Anne" replied the white-haired boy.
Seeing Lincoln in this state alarms Bobby and Ronnie Anne. "Lincoln?!" Before they can go over and see what happened, Lori stops them.
"You two, couch now!" The two Santiago's do as she says and they all take their seats. Luna and Jordan take the other arm chair with Lincoln next to them and Lori takes the other one. "I am surprised that news about Lincoln getting hit by Flip's car didn't go out to you guys..."
"Wait, Flip hit Lincoln?!" said a surprised Ronnie Anne. Then she recalls. "Wait, so that's why he ended up here in Great Lakes City and crashed into the water, he was escaping all the cops!"
Lincoln nods, and then he tells them about what had happened and how bad it went for him to the fact that he cannot be able to walk until the end of two months, and that Luna has woken from her temptations of her dreams and has returned to realize just how fragile life is and how important her brother means to her.
Bobby and Ronnie Anne couldn't believe this, and now Ronnie Anne feels like going after Flip and making him feel the hurt. Then Lincoln asks. "So, where the heck is Sid? I thought that you would have her tag along."
Ronnie Anne then calms down. "Sid said that she is grounded for shaving a lemur."
They all remain silent and then Jordan asks. "Wait what? Why the heck would she do that?'
Bobby then speaks. "Bro, I am so sorry that you went through all of that and I hope yo can get well soon, and I guess that is the reason why Lori and Leni got their rides now and why Lori hasn't bothered to text me about anything. She was being a good and responsible sister."
Lori looks away and she blushes, though she still feels bad about the times where she literally wasn't even close to being responsible. Then Bobby sees the girl with Luna and Lincoln. "Wait, who the heck is she?"
"Her name is Jordan Rosato" relied Ronnie Anne. "Though, at school they call her Girl Jordan, because there is a Boy Jordan there and..."
"Boy Jordan moved" replied Jordan Rosato.
Ronnie Anne didn't see that one coming. "Oh, alright then. Jordan here is a good friend of mine back when I was in elementary school here in town, and she has been dubbed the dodge ball queen because she can be a total power house when in the gym."
"Okay, but what the heck is she doing here and why is she sitting close towards Lincoln?" asked Bobby with a concerned tone.
Ronnie Anne then realizes. "Wait, you actually did it! You told Lincoln how you felt about him?!" Jordan and Lincoln blush and nod. Ronnie Anne smirks and she claps. "Well, it was about dang time too. Because I'd have to deal with..."
"How could you?!" Bobby gets up and is stern towards Lincoln, but this doesn't hinder the loud boy. "How could you do that to my sister?! You're cheating on her for another girl?! Are you serious, Lincoln?! This is low and so wrong!"
Ronnie Anne tries to intervene, but Luna beats her to it. "You better back up and stay away from my little brother unless you wanna lose some teeth you moron! Lincoln and Ronnie Anne were never a thing and you were too blinded by your own stupid head to see that, Roberto!"
Lori gasps and she covers her mouth and they can see pure anger within Luna, but Bobby is unfazed. "Stay out of this Luna Loud, this is between me and Lincoln, and also Lori!" He then looks to his girlfriend. "How can you not see this?! Lori, you have to fix this or else I will break up with you, again!"
Lincoln didn't like hearing him say that, and he wants to talk back and so does Jordan, but then Lori yells. "Oh shut the heck up, Bobby and listen to them for god damn sake!" they all remain silent and bobby is shocked she would talk back to him like that.
Lori is seething with anger and she continues. "You were blinded by the fact that you thought our little siblings were perfect for each other, when we were clearly too dumb and blinded to even ask what do they think, all we cared about was our relationship and how we felt and we never even bothered to notice how they were feeling!"
"Heck, I regret ever bringing Lincoln on that double date and I should've seen the signs of Ronnie Anne being the bully she was before and not the good girl she is now living with you in a large family, and also she never did like him and it took some full proof evidence from someone who was there when my brother was hit by a vehicle!" Jordan is touched to hear this from Lori.
Luna can see that Lori has this and so she backs up. "I had to tolerate in my head the everyday stuff we do together and my future on what I want, but I never bothered to be there and be responsible for my siblings. Ever since we started dating Bobby, I was so obsessed to talk to you that I haven't even been a good big sister, all I have been was texting Boo-Boo Bear 24/7."
That is something Bobby did not see coming, but Ronnie Anne did.
Lori then continues. "Bobby, when you broke up with me back then I got so angry and heartbroken that I threatened my own brother with the coffee table and he had to go to the double date anyway, I thought I was the one doing the right thing, but apparently I wasn't and I was once again too blind and too stupid to even hear my brother out and understand his problem."
Ronnie Anne then speaks. "Guys, I never even told Bobby that Lincoln made me cry, he just found out for some dumb reason, heck I didn't wanna go to the double date because I was gonna go and get my skate board fixed!" She crosses her arms and looks away from her brother.
Bobby is confused by all of this and then he realizes what Lori had just said. "Wait, you threatened Lincoln with a coffee table?!" He then looks to Ronnie Anne. "You were a bully to Lincoln?! What the heck is going on?!"
Ronnie Anne sighs. "Makes sense why he would say those words to me back then, and I have been the bully to him for a long while... After dad left us." That was the kicker that Bobby can finally see, that is how Ronnie Anne's tough girl attitude started.
Lori then speaks. "I regret what I did and I shouldn't have allowed Lincoln to be forced into a relationship with someone he only sees as a friend, and perhaps I should've just moved on from you breaking up with me... But I didn't, and I just..." she wipes away her tears. "God, I was an asshole back then."
Luna scoffs. "I could call ya more than just that..." Lincoln elbows her to knock it off. "Bro, it is true. Heck, Luan and Lynn would have some harsh things to say to the girl who says, I was born first!" Lori feels bad for pulling that card, way too many times.
Bobby then sees Lori calming down. "Babe, I just..."
"No, you know what, Bobby... You wanna force me to have Lincoln away from a girl who admired him before we became a thing, and to me that sounds wrong and stupid and I was an idiot and you were a total moron!" said Lori in anger. "I should've seen the signs, but I didn't because of the day you came into my life and made me into someone who wasn't even there to help my siblings."
"I thought my obsession with my phone was a problem, but then you showed up and you had to leave those brownies in my locker, well congratulation Bobby you made me look like a total jerk to my own family, oh and it came for me to realize, if you hadn't broken up with me then perhaps Lincoln would've spared seeing me angry and threatening him with a..."
Luna walks over and slaps Lori in the face, and this stuns them and then Luna grabs Lori by her tank top. "I am not pleased with what you did to my brother, and do that stunt to any of us again... then I won't be threatening you, and that is a dang deep promise, Lori Marie Loud."
Lori seems a bit scared, but she shrugs it off and she nods, and so Luna let's her go and the two girls look towards Bobby, and he is now feeling scared and small after what had just happened. Ronnie Anne didn't like where this is going.
Lori then speaks. "Go ahead and break up with me, Bobby. There are plenty of guys out there who would be willing to understand and not be total idiots such as you. Because I am willing to change, and be a better big sister than I was before and make things right with not just Lincoln, but to everyone else. I doubt you have ever done any wrong to your little sister, when I have done so many."
"You have a large family, and you may think we have a lot in common..." Lori scoffs. "Roberto Alejandro Martínez-Millán Luis Santiago, Jr. You don't know how I feel and when we started dating, you never even had many siblings and so that means you do not understand me... You never did, because all you thought about was how we could be a couple."
"You put family first, and I should've done the same thing, but then comes the whole thing when we meet up we... I end up falling for you, which I now see is a total piece of bullshit that makes me literally look like a fool and not the big sister who should be there to make sure trouble doesn't hit my family, and yet it did and now look at where Lincoln is."
Bobby then tries to speak. "Lori, wait... I didn't mean to, let me make it up to..."
"Shut your mouth." Luna goes towards Bobby. "You don't have the rights to speak in this house when the older louds are talking, Roberto." Bobby has some tears, and Ronnie Anne didn't like this, her brother was being pinned down and scolded by the Louds.
So, Lincoln intervenes. "Alright, that is enough!" They all remain silent and look towards Lincoln. "Everyone, calm down and let's get some chill vibes here." He then looks towards Bobby. "Bobby, you were in a love state of falling for Lori and we appreciate that you like her and wanna start a future and good life with her, but you need to understand where your actions in this romance are leading."
"I can also assume that you are the reason why the other Casagrandes believe Ronnie Anne and I are a thing, right?" Bobby looks away and feels embarrassed and deep down Ronnie Anne is angered by that thought. Lincoln sighs. "Well, that one is gonna be hard to handle. Bobby, you need to understand that Ronnie Anne and I are not a thing, do you see that now?"
Bobby has some tears and he nods. "I'm sorry, I thought that... Because of the day that... Oh man, I messed up big time with this!" He sits back on the couch and he looks scared and panicked and Ronnie Anne goes over and tries to console him.
Lori then speaks. "We messed up bit time, Bobby. Like I said, we were both caught up in each other's love and fantasies that we never bothered to see or hear how our little siblings thought about it, we were fools and morons... I seem to be the bigger one."
Luna scoffs. "You both are the bigger morons, you're both equally bigger in moronic nature."
"Luna, stop!" said Lincoln sternly, he then looks towards Bobby. "I am glad you can see that now, Bobby and I know you can make up for this... But, that is not up to me for that one. Also, I doubt I can forgive you for everything that has made Lori into what she is."
"Same" replied Ronnie Anne. Bobby is surprised to hear this. "Bobby, you literally tore Lori away from her family, you didn't even get to know or understand her right and all you saw was an angel to fall for. Honestly, I question why you haven't been fired from all your part-time jobs. You just told them you had to move away and... Dang, I can never understand you at times."
Bobby feels hurt hearing that, and then Lincoln speaks. "This is something you and Lori need to handle." Lincoln looks to Lori and they both nod. Luna backs away, and she lets Lori speak.
"Bobby, I don't wanna break up with you and you don't wanna break up with me. But, times are changing and everything is turning into something that I should've taken charge long ago, and yet didn't. So, I won't be talking to you until Lincoln's legs are healed up." All of them are surprised to hear this.
Jordan asks. "Wait, are you serious?"
Bobby has tears. "Wait, babe..."
"No, this is my choice and mine alone. If Luna is willing to be there to help Lincoln till he's healed, then I am devoting myself to do something till he is back to normal." Lori then looks towards Bobby. "You need to understand, and I know you do that I need to be there for my siblings, mostly Lincoln and his current state. I can't always be calling you."
"My phone will be blocking you, and I will be using my phone to call my family or when I need to call my friends for school work matters. Bobby, we need some time away from each other..." She then goes closer. "And you need to talk with your familia about this, but start with your mother so she can better understand this and then deal with Ronnie Anne and her bullying antics from long ago."
Ronnie turns red and looks away embarrassed at the reminder that she was always bullying the brother of Lori, but then Lori kneels down and looks to Ronnie Anne. "Ronnie Anne, I am sorry you got caught in this stupid love thing Bobby and I started, and sorry you had to also hassle with the same thing your family also thinks of you and my brother..."
Ronnie Anne nods, but then she sees the stern look on Lori. "But bullying Lincoln is another thing, and though I am glad that you are his friend and not the bully... That doesn't excuse you to give him a black eye when clearly it was my fault along with the others. Also, I expect a proper and sincere apology from you if you ever come back here, comprende mija?"
Ronnie Anne is now feeling scared and she nods, she has never seen Lori this kind of angry before, heck she has never witnessed an angry Lori before. Lori then gets up and she looks towards Bobby, she then takes the flowers and chocolates.
"I will keep these, and I will share the chocolates with my family and the flowers are gonna be planted in the backyard... But, we're not calling each other unless I say that you have been unblocked, are we clear Bobby?"
Bobby gets up and he nods. "Yes and... if we do come back..." He then looks to Lincoln. "I owe you an apology Lincoln..." The boy nods and then Bobby speaks. "We should probably go now..." Luna opens the door for them and he can see how miffed she is seeing him there. Bobby then looks towards Jordan. "You two are a cute couple, and I will make sure my familia listens to me whether they like it or not."
Ronnie Anne then gets up. "Chances my mom will wanna come here and have me apologize and I am sorry for the bullying, and thanks for being my friend and changing me from the bully I was before."
Lincoln nods. "No problem, Ronnie Anne. See you soon, and I think I'm gonna follow Lori's advice and cut off all ties with you until I can walk again." Ronnie Anne is surprised to hear this, even Bobby. But she understands and she takes her leave along with her brother.
They watch as Ronnie Anne and Bobby get back into the Casagrande Mercado van and they drive off, thankfully they didn't have any stowaways this time.
Luna closes the door. "That went well. Good job, Lori."
Lori nods and then she looks towards Lincoln. "Linc, are you alright?"
Lincoln sighs. "That could've gone better, but we had to air out what we thought about what had gone down for a long, long time, and I am proud at how you stood up against Bobby and he break up threats. Thanks Lori."
Lori smiles and she hugs her brother. "Anytime, little bro." Lincoln returns the hug and then Lori sees Jordan. "Come here, you." she then pulls Jordan into this hug which makes Lincoln and Jordan blush and Luna smirks. "You two are a great and cute couple and when you two go on this date then I'll be sure to provide some advice and help. That is my promise."
Hearing this makes Lincoln and Jordan blush bright red, and yet they hold hands. Luna chuckles hearing this, then she goes over to Lori. "Lori, we need to message mom and dad that if they are gonna come home, I wanna talk to them and to you, alright sis?"
Lori is confused by this, but she nods. Then Luna goes over to her brother. "Don't worry about it bro, I just wanna ask them something that could be useful for us. I still got fat stacks of cash from the gigs and contests I have won, I saved them and thanks to Chunk, they're more than ten grand worth of cash." That is something they all didn't see coming.
Then Leni comes down. "Can't beat the twenty five grand I make." she then heads to the kitchen to make herself a smoothie. They all chuckle hearing this, and Lori smirks.
"Why do I feel like this is a small competition on who saved how many cash, though I think I might be second place with twenty-one thousands bucks." They all continue to laugh some more, feeling positive even after the negative beginning of the meeting with the Santiagos earlier.
(Later in the Day.)
We see Lincoln watching over the twins in the backyard, Jordan went off home and now he is here and watching as Lola is having her small car checked up on by Lana, then Luan comes out and she gives them all some sandwiches to eat, then Lucy comes down from the tree and Lisa from her bunker and they enjoy the food.
At the kitchen, Luna and Lori see this and then they hear their parents coming. "Kids, we're home!" yelled Rita. She then sees her two older daughters in the kitchen. "Girls, our here. We got the text message and thankfully I was allowed to come home early, since Dr. Finestein is going to a convention tomorrow."
Lynn Sr then speaks. "I had to close the restaurant because we ran out of the specials and Kotaro said he has to contact his friend who could get us the lobster we need, so I won't be opening the restaurant until the day after tomorrow, dang shame we ran out of lobster, and everyone loved that stuff today."
Rita then asks. "So, what the heck did you wanna talk to us about?"
Lori then looks towards Luna, and so the 15-year old rock speaks. "Guys, I wanna take driving lessons." they all remain silent and are surprised by this.
Lynn Sr then speaks. "Wait, what?"
Luna then responds. "Guys, I wanna make sure that nothing else goes wrong, and if I can be able to drive and then get my own set of wheels, then it'll be a dig done deal, and we'd have three sets of wheels to drive around for the others when they need it the most. But mostly, this is for Lincoln. I am gonna be 16 soon, so I think this is fair for me, right?"
The parents are unsure, but Lori can see why. "Leni and I are the reason why you wanna take this task and role, and I am in on this. Luna can be trusted, she seems responsible enough to take on a driving role."
The parents are surprised to hear this from Lori, but Rita thinks about this. "Well, okay then. But you need to take up reading from the book and getting the rules and..."
"Rule, regulations, different signs and also learning some portions and parts of the vehicle... I know what to do, and I am willing to go through with that whole also continuing my part to help Lincoln in his current state, this is all necessary and not for my desires and wants. This is all for Lincoln" replied Luna.
They're touched to hear this from Luna, and then Lynn Sr speaks. "You can start with driving test runs next week, for now hit the books and be prepared for it." Lynn Sr then gets ready to make dinner for his family, while Rita heads to her room to finish her novel.
Lori and Luna continue to watch over their siblings outside in the backyard. Lori then looks to Luna. "Good call, sis. This is another big change, and I am dang proud of you."
Luna smirks. "All for Lincoln's sake... All for our little bro."
"To be continued..."
A/N: Lori stood tall, she stood her ground and she made sure Bobby got the dang message in his head planted hard and good. Now they just have to wait for whatever response the Casagrandes are gonna have from what Bobby and Ronnie Anne has to tell them, and it seems like Luna Loud will get her wish, and learn to drive and get her wheels soon.
