Time to see what things are gonna be going on around the Loud House with everyone toning things down and Lincoln is once again back home, but he is going through a new problem after what had gone down the other day, something Luna is going to take seriously to ensure her brother is safe and unharmed, and something Luna has to do to make sure her message is loud and clear for not just everyone to hear, but perhaps a certain idol of hers. Enjoy reading this everyone.
"Luna's forgotten promise."
(The Loud House, Franklin Avenue, Royal Woods Michigan.)
The day is looking alright for those within the loud house and everyone is wake and feeling lively. Lincoln Loud is already dressed for the day and his big sister/roommate, Luna Loud is wheeling him out of the bedroom, but they both hear some clamoring in the bathroom. "What the heck?"
They both go over and Luna opens the door and they see Lana along with Lori handling something in there. "Dudes, what the heck is going on here?"
Lori sighs. "Apparently something is clogging the bathroom sink and I'm gonna help Lana nudge it out of there. But I think I might know what it is, two years ago mom said she never found the other earring, and I think that said earring might be lodged in here."
"If it is in here, then I am gonna get it out." Lana then has her trusty lucky wrench and Lori helps in getting the item within the pipes out, so they can use the sink. Lincoln and Luna are happy to hear this and the duo head to the stairs.
Lincoln then recalls. "Wait, which earring is she talking about?"
Luna then recaps that day the earring went missing. "Oh, right. The one that is double gold pearls that sparkle, and mom thought that Charles played with it and swallowed it, then she thought Cliff or Waltz or Geo swallowed it and she had them sent to the vet to be scanned if they did, and they didn't and that thing was lost forever, chances it might be in the sink."
Lincoln is then helped onto the lift. "Well, I hope they find out where it is, and also fix the sink. We need that thing." He then slowly makes his way down the stairs, and Luna is following with the wheel chair. They spot Lola, Lisa and Lily watching TV. "Hey girls, anything on?"
They arrive on ground level and Luna places down the wheel chair for her brother to use and then Lola speaks. "Hey guys, there is nothing good to watch." She then turns off the TV. "I'm going up stairs." She then goes over and hugs her brother. "Get well soon, big brother."
Lincoln smiles and he returns the hug. "Thanks, Lola." They depart from the hug and he sees Lola head up the stairs, then Lincoln and Luna look towards Lisa who is teaching Lily how to read from the pop-up book and this is a cute sight for their eyes, Lisa is helping her little sister.
Then Luan walks into the living room with some popcorn and she sees the TV is off. "Dang it, Lola. I told her that I was gonna watch on the TV later." She then sees her siblings. "Oh, hey there Lincoln and Luna. Don't worry about me, just readying to watch a comedy reel on TV. Also, a little heads up... Leni messaged me that she'll be home early from her work today, something about a gas leak at the mall."
This alarms the two siblings, and they are glad they didn't choose to go to the mall today.
Luna then asks. "Alrighty then, is there anything else we should know, sis?"
Luan nods and then she explains. "Lynn Junior is in the backyard, but she soon plans to join Mr. Grouse in watching the baseball game, because apparently they both like the same team and she may have found her new sports watching buddy, saving us from her ways."
"Lucy said she might be home late, because she is busy helping plan more than 5 funerals today, and she wants to try and make this possible. She also plans to have a meeting with her club later in the afternoon, the last funeral I think is scheduled for night time, and someone will have to pick her up."
"Mom said she's gonna be the one to pick up Lucy and she was told to bring dad to the car dealership place, I don't know why though. I thought he would be going to his restaurant, but he told me that he's gonna give it a day off along with his staff members."
All of this news is a surprise for Lincoln and Luna, it sounds like everyone is doing well with the changes going around the house. "Thanks for the information sis, and good job in keeping track of what's been going on around here" replied Lincoln.
Luan chuckles. "Thanks guys, just doing my part in being an older sister."
Luna then asks. "Luan, has there been anything in the mail lately?" Lincoln also recalls and he too wants to know.
Luan knows what Luna means. "Sorry guys, the only thing that came to the mail was something for Lisa, Lori, Leni, and the electric bill which Lisa said she can handle with later."
"We paid it two weeks ago" replied Lisa as she continues to help her baby sister. "There is no way it has been beyond from sending us such mail. Chances it is a mishap that has to be corrected by those nitwits at the electric company."
Lincoln feels disappointed that what he is waiting for hasn't arrived yet, but Luna holds her brother's hand. "Calm down, little brother. It'll be here, soon. Don't worry about it." Luna then has her acoustic guitar. "Now come on, let's go and spend some time together in the backyard. Some calming tunes should lighten that attitude and sad face of yours."
Lincoln smiles hearing this. "Yeah, I'd like that. Thanks Luna."
Luna chuckles. "Anytime, little brother." She then wheels her brother past the dining room and past the kitchen so they can make it to the backyard.
Luan and Lisa already know what Lincoln is waiting for, and feel bad that it hasn't arrived yet. Lily then asks. "Winky sad."
Lisa nods. "Yes, yes he is. But we should just be there for when he does feel deep into sadness of his mental thoughts. After what had went down the other day, those Casagrandes had better make this right, or I will convince mother and father to sue them."
Luan didn't like the sound of that. "Calm down, Lisa. Let the grownups handle this, we don't have to do anything unless it is..." She then thinks about it. "Wait, it does seem personal. That necklace did belong to Lincoln and it's a good reminder of the bond he had with Luna... Yup, I also agree with you, sis."
(An hour later.)
At the backyard, Luna sees her brother is fast asleep and leaning onto her shoulder and this makes her smile and she slowly and gently picks up her brother, and then she allows him to sit on her lap and lean his head onto her chest so he can rest more comfortably and she places a loving kiss on his forehead.
Luna then holds on tightly to her sleeping brother and deep down she feels saddened about what happened the other day. 'Gosh darn it to hell with that parrot. If they had never brought that flying rat with them, then Lincoln wouldn't be concerned about his necklace coming back.'
'I swear if that necklace doesn't show up today, I am gonna take that parrot and cook him alive, then feed his remains to the junkyard dogs and then grab his bones and burn them to ashes and then vacuum and dump it all in the most disgusting toilet around here. That parrot is an evil psycho freak!'
She then feels her brother stir, and so Luna hums a soothing tune and this works and Lincoln is fast asleep once more and this makes Luna sigh in relief and she moves aside some of his white hair and she takes a good look at the sleeping and peaceful face of her baby brother.
She recalls the good times she would have with Lincoln, and the day he was first brought to the house and she held him was something she would never ever forget and always treasure. She can still remember when they stared into each other and she allowed her brother to touch her nose and hold her fingers.
That was the day when Luna finally saw that she had some special connection with the only male loud in the family, and that she wanted to do more and help him as time goes onward, she didn't wanna lose her brother or watch him cry or get hurt.
Every night, Luna would be the one to comfort him when there was thunder, and at times Leni or Luan would help, but Lincoln would always rely on his big sister, Luna for that comforting warmth from the fear of thunder he had long ago, and also his fear of something under his bed or inside of the closet.
Luna recalls the nights she would spend with her baby brother and he would snuggle close to her and not let go, and deep down it made her proud to be the one big sister he would always go to when he needed someone's comfort the most, but then things changed and everything slowly crumbled.
The day she became the loud rock n' roll Luna, was something she did not see coming and some part of her broke out and wanted this dream and role, and yet she retained the true meaning inside of her that she cared for family the most and wanted nothing more than to be there for them.
Luna still recalls the fear in her brother's eyes when he saw her come back from the concert, almost like had didn't know who she was and yet she did her best and made Lincoln see that she is and always will be Luna Loud, and that made him a believer.
Lincoln had some hopes that his big sister would come back and they would be like best friends again, but it didn't seem to come back at times and all Lincoln could do was hope, and keep the necklace safe with him and close by, the very same necklace Luna gave him the day before she went off to the Mick Swagger concert, and changed everything that the two siblings had.
All of this going on has Luna shed some tears, and she feels like she has done something horrible, that she couldn't be able to live with herself and then she looks down to her sleeping brother and sighs. She then whispers into his ear. "Lincoln, I'm sorry I changed into someone I wasn't supposed to be, and I am sorry that the bond we had is now a questionable thing, but I assure you that things will change, and for the better, for the both of us."
"I know that I cannot bring back the lost times we had when we were close siblings, but it doesn't mean that I cannot rekindle and make new ones, we might not be the young Louds from before, but we're all still together and next to nothing in this dang world is gonna stop me from continuing my task, to keep you safe and... And I have a plan later, one to make sure everyone gets the message."
"Because deep down, something within me is saying that the Luna Loud you know now needs to be put on hold, and the Luna you knew long ago should be allowed to try and mend what has been wounded, and I wounded our bond, so I am going to fix it. No matter what the cost, I promise you Lincoln Loud, and I love you little brother."
Luna then places a small kiss onto her brother's forehead, and then she too closes her eyes, but only to open them again when she hears Lori and Leni calling out their names. "What the heck?"
Lincoln slowly stirs and he sees where he is and he smiles. "Hey, sis. Looks like we both had a nice nap."
Luna chuckles. "Well, you slept longer, but I think Lori and Leni called us. We should go and check it out, bro." Luna carries her brother and she places him onto the wheel chair and then she wheels him towards the house and they go through the backdoor and then meet the others in the living room.
Lincoln then asks. "Girls. What the heck is going on here? What's important to call us?"
The twins then hand the package to Lincoln. "It's here, Linky!"
Lincoln sees the box and he is surprised. All the louds go over and they watch as Lincoln begins to open the package and what they see amazed them. The necklace, it is repaired and restored, and the silver beads are also joined by silver chains, and they seem strong and sturdy.
Lola whistles. "Now that is what I call some silver linked designs."
"Dude, this looks awesome and no way it can break now, and I don't wanna try to break it" said Lynn Jr.
Lori then sees something. "Lincoln, a note." She hands the note to Lincoln and so he reads it.
"Dear Loud, we are sorry that what happened was horrible, we are sorry for Rosa and her superstitious ways and she is currently getting over her rituals and trying to move on from watching Ernesto Estrella, but she will continue to read some horoscopes on the newspapers. We are also sorry about Sergio and his horrid actions onto you, we didn't see that coming and we are handling this."
"Sergio will be sent to Mama Lupe for the time being, and we hope he can learn something and not act like some selfish, greedy, noisy and annoying flying freak. The new necklace was paid off by every last dollar and cent that parrot saved, and we made sure that the best pawnshop man in Great Lakes City would make it better and stronger, and that is why there is a silver chain with it.
"The Silver chain attached to the necklaces and the Silver beads has a meaning, the meaning is that the link you have with your closest sister won't break again, and everything will be as it was long ago for the both of you. A powerful and strong sibling bond, that might bend but would never ever break, and we hope this necklace is something beyond what you have expected and again we are sorry for what had happened the other day and we hope there is no more problems between both of our families."
"From, the Casagrandes."
"PS – Sidney "Sid" Chang says Hi."
Lincoln chuckles and he wipes away some tears. "They fixed it, they fixed the necklace and..." He continues to shed tears of joy, and then he puts the necklace on and he holds the locket tightly, and then Luna has tears of her own and she embraces her brother, and soon enough the rest of the Louds sisters all join in, happy to know that what Lincoln holds closest to the most is back and all patched up.
Just then Lincoln feels this pain in his head, and they depart from the hug and Leni knows what this means. "Here." She hands him the pills and he takes it with some water that Lori hands to him.
Lincoln sighs and tries to calm down. "Thanks girls, dang it the moment has been ruined."
Lisa sighs. "Well, you will be facing migraines for the next three days. This is something that cannot be patched up with ease and has to heal on its own after the major hit you took the other day, dang wretched painted bird." Waltz sits in her shoulder and also agrees, he hates Sergio.
The others all feel bad that Lincoln is now going through another problem, and they hope he can get this migraine healed and also be back on his feet once more. Seeing this, Luna knows that she has to make her plan come true. 'Later, I need to call Sam and have her come here so we can talk about this.'
(Later in the Day.)
We now see Lincoln Loud, on the couch and he is watching some TV alongside Clyde, and Jordan. The trio are watching this movie Jordan has at her house called, Star Wars Episode 4: A New Hope. Now both Lincoln and Clyde are interested in something that seems way better than Starship Grouper.
Just then, Lisa comes down the stairs. "Brother, something has been released on social media and you must see this as well."
"Wait, what?" Lincoln pauses the movie, and he along with Jordan, Clyde and Lisa check the tablet of Lisa and see what has been sent across the internet for everyone to see, and what they see is Luna Loud, inside of the bedroom and the camera rolling on her and then she speaks.
"Hello, everyone. My name, is Luna Loud and I am 15 year old teenage girl and rock n' roll loving gal, and have been musically talented for a long, long time ever since the seventh grade when I went to my first ever Mick Swagger concert, and that was the point where my life changed forever and it seemed to be for the better... but, I didn't know that the concert changed me for the dang stupid worse."
"That concert was sweet and all, and I found out that I could shred on the axe as well as I do on my violin or my trusty acoustic, but then I realized that it did something horrible to me. It tore me away from what I was supposed to be doing and tasked to maintain, to be there for my little brother whom I have a special sibling bond with, a bond that has been bending for a long, long time after the whole concert."
"I didn't even come to think about it and that was until my baby brother got hurt, and all because of me while I was too distracted by my new MP3 player, and the many new Mick Swagger songs. The concert and the songs have blinded me, made me deaf and have pushed and pulled me away from the love I share with my little brother. I have cared for him for a long time and I god damn promised that I would be there for him and to keep him safe, and yet I managed to break, and forget that promise."
"So, to ensure that I am devoted to the cause from which was lost long ago by myself and the talent I was pushed into... I, Luna Loud am done with the Rock n' Roll genre, for good, but that doesn't mean that I wouldn't respect for what it stands for, and that I am still talented and skilled in the music that I am capable of doing, and I will seek my own musical path and journey, and also... I am no longer to associate with the likes of Mick Swagger, I am done with him. For good."
"My reasons are my own and my family is what matters, but mostly my little brother. This is all for him, to make sure that I am not gonna end up getting put into the turncoat ever again. A Luna Loud, who should've existed long ago."
The screen goes black and all of them are surprised to see, hear and bare witness. "What?!"
"To be continued..."
A/N: Lincoln got his necklace back and the Casagrandes dealt with Sergio and thank goodness too, and as for Luna... Whoa! Did she just do that shit? Yup, she did and it's something Lincoln needs to talk to her about. Leave a review, and tell me what you all think about this everyone.
