Natsu had a well-kept secret, one that only his closest friends were privy to.
He slept with someone else's girl. Not that he knew at the time, of course. Even with the reputation he had, the bad boy wouldn't go around fucking with relationships he wasn't a part of. It was a juvenile thing to do compared to what he usually dealt with.
Fighting on a daily basis with guns and knives, dodging metal pipes, and lamely thrown fists. Of course, that took more of his attention.
He was known for sleeping around, as he didn't care to be tied down. Gajeel was annoying enough to be around when he started on about Levy. And Gray was even worse, pretending that Juvia was only a hook-up and not his greatest love.
No one had stolen his heart, and he liked it that way. He was comfortable bed-hopping and knowing how much Magnolia wanted him.
But she was different. A little desperate, not that he cared to ask. Just a little too much honestly quelled in those eyes, as if he knew what she was thinking.
Her lips were hesitant against his, the thumping of her heart all too loud as they kissed in his apartment.
He wasn't heartless as most would think. He took his time with her, until he was sure she felt comfortable. She was determined to keep going, so he carefully led her hand through it.
He couldn't get her out of his head, even into the next morning. Her soft kisses, her light moans. The sweet whisper of his name underneath her breath.
She was flustered by his tongue, his excitement rising with every smothered look she gave him. As if he was the first man to kiss her properly.
She was sensitive to his every touch, the warmth of her bosom still residing in his palm. He couldn't help but tease her, addicted to the sight of her cute pout.
She came in his hand as they kissed, his fingers relentless with their movements. She sucked him in, almost immediately telling him where to press the pads of his fingers. Her body communicated with his, suiting him almost perfectly.
Her walls were tight around his shaft, the slick moistness stirring his thoughts around. He couldn't hold himself back. But she seemed to like it rough. Enough to beg him for more.
And when they fell asleep, he stayed up to watch her, adoring the calm rise and fall of her chest.
He was excited to wake to the sight of her, slightly crestfallen as all he found was a note on the bedside table.
'I have a boyfriend.'
Not that he cared, so what if she did. But he couldn't believe that it was in her nature to cheat, she seemed too innocent.
He didn't question it and continued to go about his life. Stopping to mention it to his friends, before moving on to the next girl that caught his attention.
Until he recognized her.
They met at a mixer, a teen club somewhere in the heart of the city. She made a pass at him, and Natsu was smart enough not to turn down such a pretty girl.
She wore her makeup differently, of course, and dressed much more casually, but he knew it was her.
It was that sweet smile, that sweet, fake smile. Again, her eyes were too honest. She didn't love that guy.
"Hey, that's the girl I hooked up with. The one with the boyfriend." Natsu said as he nodded his head slightly toward her.
"You're kidding. Tell me you're kidding." Gray's jaw went slightly slack, Gajeel sighing as he shook his head.
"I don't understand how you're the boss around here. Don't you see who that guy is? It's freaking Sting Eucliffe. He runs Sabertooth."
"Sabertooth High? That Sting?" Natsu felt his eyes widen, both of his friends nodding quickly.
"Don't ever tell anyone you did, or we'll have a problem. Erza won't be back for a couple of weeks, we can't take on a whole school without her."
"'S not like it's my fault, she came onto me," He shrugged. "She's the one he should be mad at. If he ever found out."
"You really think anyone's gonna believe you didn't talk her into it? Even I can tell how mousy that girl is from here." Gray sighed.
"Mousy? More like she's jumpy, like a bunny."
Natsu let the coincidence pass him by, what use was there getting into trouble? Not that he couldn't take Sabertooth. He was sure they'd be a piece of cake even without Erza.
It wasn't like he'd ever see her again.
Is what he thought.
What were the chances that she would be on their campus?
It was a delegation meeting of sorts, with both school cabinets getting together to plan a field trip. It was a boring meeting just to make sure hotels wouldn't be overbooked, the kind of thing that really could've been sent in a text. But tradition was tradition. And she was the treasurer.
A member that no one would really notice missing once they were all dismissed to go home. Especially when she held herself back to organize their documents.
She was walking down the hallway when their eyes met, Natsu's heart unintentionally skipping a beat.
"Hey," He stopped her, his hands in his pockets as he leaned against a wall. "Mind if we talk?"
"I don't know what you'd have to say to me..." She awkwardly looked away, a light blush on her cheeks.
"I just wanna clear something up, if that's cool. I may not look like it, but I'm a guy that likes to have a clean conscience." He hummed, the girl subtly pursing her lips.
"Sure, but let's not take too long, my ride should be here soon."
"Follow me." He said, leading her back down the hall, off to somewhere where no one was likely to hear them.
"So?"
"I just wanna know why Sting's girl is sleeping around." He shrugged, the blonde rolling her eyes.
"I don't really think that's any of your business."
"I feel like I'm owed it, no? You left before I bought you breakfast. And I wouldn't have slept with you if I knew you were taken."
"Well, that's..." He could see the sudden guilt in her eyes, her honesty reassuring. "I'm sorry."
"I'll forgive you if you answer my question."
"I wanted to get him upset. It's not that deep. But he doesn't know yet; I'm not really sure what else to say."
"You picked me to pass him off?"
"Everyone in this town and the next knows who the guy with pink hair is. And I'm usually being watched. So being seen with you would have a chain reaction of sorts."
"That could get me in a lot of trouble," He laughed. "Why not dump him?"
"It's complicated...our parents are friends, so they expect us to have a good relationship."
"Uh-huh..." He nodded slowly. "Guess that makes sense."
They stood quietly for another moment before Natsu cleared his throat and asked what he really wanted to know.
"So, is he a good kisser?"
"W-What?"
"Is he a good kisser? I think I might be better than he is, but I want to hear you say it."
"W-Why?!"
"Just 'cuz," He grinned as he walked toward her, the girl taking a few steps back until she backed against one of the desks. "I remember the look on your face, and I really liked it. You looked like you did too."
"That's... that's unnecessary! We don't need to talk about that night...!"
"Luce, right? Come on, it's just a question." He hummed, his bottom lip catching between his teeth as he grinned. She was so cute.
"If you're not happy, you know," He lifted a strand of her hair, gently kissing what he held in his palm. "You can always make another statement with me. Right now?"
He recognized that dreamy look in her eyes, the nervous shiver running down her body. The slight clench of her thighs.
"Can I kiss you?" His hands caged her in, his mouth inches above her own, a growl ready in his chest. Something about her made him want more; something dirty and disheveled in this unused classroom.
"U-Um..." She looked away, her cheeks bright red as he held her chin with his thumb and forefinger.
"I'm feelin' a little desperate here, Lucy." The rough timbre of his voice made her stomach twist, his dark eyes submitting her reason. His other hand was gentle on her hip, his grip soft and erotic at the same time. "You really did somethin' to me, and I can't get you out of my mind."
Her eyelids fluttered as he leaned in, carefully kissing her parted lips. He was slow and sensual, pulling Lucy out of her worried state of mind.
Their lips puckered in sync, both moaning slightly as their tongues collided. She curled around his, Natsu stifling a pleased chuckle. She seemed like the type starved for attention, unaware of just how into it she was getting. Her hands slowly made their way up his chest, lightly moving up and down as she tugged at his shirt to pull him closer.
Lucy gasped at the feeling of his slight boner against her thigh as he leaned in, coming to her senses when her phone buzzed with a text.
"I-I have to go, he's... Sting's here to pick me up!" She said quickly as she pushed him away.
"Let me give you my number then," Natsu said as he grabbed her wrist before she could run out. "You can call me when you need me."
"Natsu...I...we shouldn't," She sighed as she turned to face him. "It's...we shouldn't."
"I think there's always room in life to be a little wrong sometimes. Especially when you're forcing yourself to be happy with a guy you don't like. Take my number and call me when you need me. And not just for a good time."
~000~
Lucy sighed as she stared at Natsu's contact information, her finger hovering over the trash button.
It was best to cut all ties, she kept telling herself. She'd already gone too far, and going there again would lead to even more heartache.
It was unfair to Sting, the one obviously more invested in their relationship. And it was unfair to her parents, who had gone through so much trouble to get them together. She didn't want to be a disappointment.
But some part of her wanted to see him again. Natsu was so...different.
Just the way he looked at her was enough for Lucy to seriously rethink things.
Before she saw him that night, she wasn't really going to go through with it.
It wasn't like her at all, it was silly to even think she could do that kind of thing. To have a one-night stand with no strings attached before she'd ever even slept with her own boyfriend. It was the ultimate form of retaliation. A way for her to make her own decision without worrying about anyone else's opinion.
All of the leering eyes and gross over attention from strangers made her rethink things, Lucy not at all ready to give herself away.
As she was getting ready to leave, her eyes fell to a seductive gaze. Not one that made her feel creeped out or afraid. Instead she felt warm and nervous, stuck standing in one place as if her legs couldn't move.
He washed over her like a fresh breath of air with that smile. She felt so small underneath his gaze, her stomach jumping into her throat as he spoke.
He asked if she was okay, leaning down with his whisper into her ear. A shiver flew down her spine as she nodded, regaining her resolve to do what she came here to do.
One brush of her hand against his bicep was enough to get the message across, their night together still fresh in her memory.
She remembered how gentle he was, how caring he seemed. He was slow and talked her through it, making sure that she was comfortable every step of the way.
And when they were done, he offered to clean her up, wiping them both down before snuggling together. She woke up in his arms, her head on his chest, listening to the soft beat of his heart.
Lucy couldn't bear to stay one more second with her secret. Even if she was more comfortable than she had ever been in these last few months.
She managed to wiggle out of bed unnoticed, writing a quick note as fast as she got dressed. She owed him that much at least.
Seeing Sting later that afternoon felt even worse.
He kissed her on the forehead and swung his arm around her shoulders like usual, telling her all about his night with Rogue.
What if he could smell that something was wrong? Different? That Natsu had seen everything, when they'd barely shared their first kiss.
Lucy shoved down the memory, hoping to carry on as if nothing had happened.
Until she ran into him at the neighboring school.
She never asked where he went, so how could she have known to avoid him? What were the chances of them even running into each other again?
His gaze still made her heart skip a beat, her stomach in knots as he asked to go somewhere more private.
His kiss sparked that lost feeling of desire in her, reminding her of what she failed to have with Sting.
There was no immediate attraction, no passion, no carnal need.
Her whole body felt lit like a match when he spoke to her, when he touched her. It was kismet.
She could call him for even the simplest of things. If she wanted him, he'd be there.
The thought was dangerous. He'd do what she wanted...what she wanted! There wasn't a man in her life willing to act for her in such a broad spectrum.
Lucy was allowed to want. A small epiphany, but one she'd taken her time coming across. She should have what she wanted.
She mulled over what to text him first, not sure if he'd even keep his promise. What better way than to test him?
It was late on a Saturday night, her parents long since asleep. Lucy lived on the other side of town, so there was no way he'd bother to answer or even show up.
She sent him her address and nothing else, embarrassingly tossing her phone onto the other side of her bed.
She dimmed her lights and waited, her heart beating faster with every passing second.
The more time passed, the more Lucy began to regret her decision. What good was testing him going to do? What if he didn't show up? What if he ghosted her?
She groaned and buried her face in her pillows, hating the feeling of anxiety swirling in her stomach.
Lucy trudged into the bathroom, washing her face in an attempt to calm her worries. She contemplated if she should change; a sports bra and shorts might be a little too suggestive.
"Oh whatever, as if he'll actually...show up..."
Lucy watched as Natsu pulled her curtains closed, turning around to face her with a wide grin.
"Took you long enough. Lucky for you, I like to stay up late." He hummed, sauntering over to where she stood.
"O-Oh, really?" Her throat felt tight, a hard lump forming as she tried to swallow. He was really here.
"Yeah, really," He laughed, reaching out to hold her cheek. "So? What's up?"
"Nothing...nothing really," She couldn't escape his gaze, burning up every time his lips quirked a certain way. "I...I just wanted to see you."
"Oh, yeah?"
"M-Mhm."
"I wanted to see you too," His words made her heart melt, her knees weak to his charming grin. "Wanna lay down? Your legs seem tired."
"Sure, totally," She maneuvered around him, silently cursing herself for her awkward attitude. He'd definitely leave at this rate. "You can take off your jacket and leave it over there."
He did just that as Lucy made herself cozy on the farthest part of the bed. He wore a tank top, his muscles showing off in the dim light. He took off his shoes before turning back around, joining Lucy in bed.
They laid down and stared at each other, his finger playing with the ends of her hair.
"How was your day?" He asked first.
"It was okay, nothing too crazy," She said. "How was yours?"
"Pretty funny, actually. A friend of mine tried to fight this guy..."
Natsu went on to describe his entire day, Lucy laughing at the funny parts of his story. The conversation sparked the desire for her to share the actual details of her day, not hiding anything that included Sting either. Natsu didn't seem to mind when he was brought up.
He only stopped by for a short while to talk to her dad, not bothering to do anything more than let her know they'd see each other at school.
Which was fine, but exactly why she hated their relationship. It felt more like business than actual romance. It was frustrating, and she didn't hold back to tell him so.
Natsu was a really good listener.
They talked for the whole night without getting tired, Lucy cozied up on his bicep as his hand gently ran up and down her hip.
"If you want to come by again, my parents don't really come home that often. I could make you dinner?" She offered, Natsu's eyes lighting up as he nodded.
"Oh heck yeah, there's no way I'd miss out on that. Text me whenever, okay? I'll drive over even when I'm busy." He said as he stroked her face gently with his thumb, Lucy smiling at the gesture.
She closed her eyes as he continued, fatigue hitting her almost immediately. How long had they been up? She didn't want to check the time, hoping their late-night rendezvous would go on without the sun ever coming up.
Natsu's phone buzzed in his pants pocket, the pinkette grunting as he fished it out.
"What's the matter, Gray? I told you not to call,"
She looked up at his furrowed brows and reached for his face, his annoyed glare softening at her touch.
"Midnight did what? Fine, I'll be there as soon as I can."
Natsu sighed as he ended the call, looking at Lucy with somber eyes.
"I gotta go, Luce. One of my guys got himself into trouble and they need my help."
"Oh, no worries, it was getting late anyway. I felt bad about keeping you." She shook her head as Natsu scoffed.
"I'm here because I want to be, you know? I wouldn't have stayed to talk if I felt forced, weirdo," He playfully rolled his eyes. "I want to be with you, Lucy."
"Mn..." Her stomach twisted again as he smirked, the space between them slowly closing.
"I wanna leave you with a good memory before I go," He whispered against her lips. "Is that okay?"
"Won't you be late?" She asked, flinching slightly as his hand rose on her thigh. "You said...they needed you..."
"All I gotta do is show my face, they're strong enough to handle things for a while." He silenced her with a kiss, Lucy rolling onto her back as he straddled her.
"You seemed like you were expecting something tonight, or was I wrong?" He asked, Lucy blushing as he pulled down her shorts.
"I don't want to dignify that with an answer." She nervously shook her head.
"You can tell me if you like me, Lucy," He chuckled. "Better yet, I want to hear you say it."
Lucy squeaked quietly as he tugged her panties upward, teasing her clit ever so slightly.
"I'll make you feel real good if you do." He tempted her, drawing her tongue out with his own as he stole her lips with a kiss. His hot breath mingled with hers, Lucy numb as he worked his magic.
He dipped his hand into her underwear, nipping on her bottom lip as she moaned.
"Just say it," He whispered into her ear, kissing behind it as he moved down her neck. "I know you do."
He slid his middle and forefinger down her moist slit, slowly moving from top to bottom as she quietly gasped.
He rose to hover over her knees, taking his hand out to observe the sticky fluid that clung to his fingers.
Her breath caught in her throat as she watched him lick them, his eyes staring at her with such carnal lust.
"I like you, Natsu." She confessed, holding in her surprise as he held and parted her thighs.
"Good girl," He purred, flashing that same smirk that made her feel oh so gooey. "Now, I want you to say my name till I make you cum."
Her back arched off her bed, jaw slightly slack as Natsu's warm tongue met her quivering sex.
"Oh, Natsu..." She couldn't help but say aloud, gripping her sheets as he met with every one of her sweet spots.
"Quiet, otherwise we'll get caught. And I don't mind being watched." He snickered, momentarily pulling Lucy out of her seduced cloud.
"Gross!" She hissed and smacked him lightly on the head as he laughed.
"Okay, no more jokes," He apologetically kissed her inner thigh as their eyes met. "Just focus on how good you feel."
She mewled as he kissed her sensitive bud, flicking his tongue over and over, pulling more quiet expressions from her lips.
He filled her with his fingers, pushing two in that eagerly swallowed him up.
"Do you know how sexy you are? Fuck, Lucy," He groaned, excited as she grabbed at his hair. "Say my name."
"Natsu..." Her heart pounded as he pulled out his fingers, replacing them with his tongue. She writhed underneath his touch, crooning as his thumb teased her hardened button.
His warmth overwhelmed her, Lucy feeling herself so close to unwinding...
Until he pulled away. Leaving her breathless as he smiled sneakily from between her legs.
"You thought I was gonna make it that easy?" He laughed as she pouted, blushing as Natsu held her hips and ground his boner against her. "I was just gonna eat you out and go. But I forgot how soft and sexy you are. I wanna fuck,"
"Don't say it like that!" She swatted at him again, Natsu catching her wrist.
"Don't say what? That I wanna fuck you? But I really wanna fuck you, Lucy. I wanna do a lot more than fuck if we're being honest here. But the thought of you cumming around my hard dick has me going. Making love is one thing, but fucking? It's hot and it's rough and it feels so damn good. I wanna make you feel so damn good, Luce. I'm gonna fuck you."
Her head reeled at his rhetoric, Lucy nearly filled to the brim with a slurry of intense emotion. She was beyond that point, taken to an unfamiliar place of desire and hunger. She wanted Natsu, now.
Her lower lips felt swollen and neglected as she watched him unzip his pants to reveal his thick length.
It felt like minutes going on hours as he slid on his condom, her body ravenous for him. He had the audacity to say all that and still tease her into waiting?
She sat forward and pulled him down by his neck, sloppily kissing him with the pent-up energy that needed a place to go.
"Do it already." She mumbled onto his tongue, Natsu's hand tight around her thigh as he made room for himself.
Their kiss silenced her audible delight, her eyes rolling slightly as he filled her up. She forgot how good it felt to have him in her.
Her bed thankfully didn't creak, Natsu holding her hips tightly as he entered all at once.
He fucked her into the mattress, pulling her sports bra up to watch her tits bounce.
He licked his lips, watching her writhe underneath him, silently calling his name as her head tossed back.
He felt the urge to leave a mark, letting his teeth out against her inner breast.
"This way, you remember who you really like," He moaned against her skin, Lucy nodding as he continued to pound into her.
"Natsu...ngh, ah...oh, right there, right there...!" He lifted her into his hold, dropping her hotly as their hips slapped together.
"Fuck..." He groaned as she kissed his neck, her nails scratching his back. "Oh, fuck...Lucy..."
He entertained her with his thumb, her sharp gasp pulling her closer to that daring edge once again.
She tightened around him, Natsu reeling at the feeling of her muscles contracting. Just like he wanted.
He laid them back down, balancing himself as he steadily rode out his release, licking the sweat from his lips.
He kissed Lucy on both cheeks, kissing her forehead, before kissing her lips gently again.
"I'll stay till you fall asleep," He said, nestling them comfortably underneath her blanket. "Is that okay?"
"Mhm," She smiled comfortably, cozying up to his chest as he held her. Lucy closed her eyes, still smiling as she felt his arm settle around her back. She was glad, thinking that he would leave immediately after they finished. He was happy to take care of her, something that she definitely needed more of.
~000~
Lucy woke up sometime during the following afternoon, sinking into her pillows and blankets.
Her smile spread as she slowly woke up, still feeling the effects from their late-night spent together.
Closing her eyes, she could imagine his kisses, his ragged breath, the dirty words he would whisper in her ear.
She squealed quietly, turning over to face the ceiling as her mind continued to cling to his memory.
And as if on cue, her phone began to ring.
"Natsu?" Saying his name but a weight on her tongue, last night's breathy tone a tingling reminder.
"Hey, figured you'd be up by now," He chuckled. "How are you feeling?"
"I'm okay, thank you for checking up on me," She smiled, absentmindedly twirling a strand of her hair. "Did you get there on time to help your friends?"
"Yeah, like I told ya, just needed to show my face. They handled things pretty well," He hummed. "I just wanted to make sure you weren't too sore or anything. I might've gotten a little too excited for you last night."
"N-No, don't worry, I'm not sore at all!" She stammered, groaning as he laughed at her high-pitched tone. "Really, I'm okay."
"Next time I'll wake you up, yeah? When can I see you again?" He asked so nonchalantly, Lucy almost felt like fainting with the way her heart was beating.
"I'll text you? My schedule is usually overloaded. Probably not for a couple of days." She sighed, already mentally trying to calculate how to move her schedule around.
"Don't stress yourself out about it, whenever is fine with me. You're fine if I call you though? I want to talk before you go to bed."
"S-Sure, no worries! That sounds great!"
"Take care of yourself. Talk to you later, Lucy."
"Yeah, bye, Natsu."
Lucy clenched her phone and squealed as she rolled around, absolutely head over heels in like with him.
"Oh, I already want to see him again,"
Natsu slid his phone back into his pocket, grinning to himself as he surveyed his gang taking care of the daily trash on their usual route.
"Really? Who is it now?" Gray asked as he stepped out of the fray to talk.
"My girl," He said with a light laugh. "Lucy. Remember her?"
"Eh? You're going out with Sting's chick? Dude, that's dangerous."
"Sting thinks she's his. She'd fall for you way sooner than she'd ever fall for him. And don't worry about it. I have Happy keeping an eye on things. He'll let me know if someone notices."
"I guess we better start training to deal with them," Gray sighed as he rolled up his sleeves. "Oi, Gajeel! Leave some for me!"
Natsu smiled as he looked down at his phone, receiving his first midday text from Lucy. They had been talking every night for a couple of weeks, like he asked, the blonde scolding him about how she kept waking up late. But she never hung up until the wee hours of night.
She was coming onto his campus for another school meeting, asking him to meet her by that classroom they went in last time.
He answered back quickly, leaning over his desk to whisper to Gajeel sitting in front of him.
"Hey, dude, give me a couple condoms. I didn't bring any today."
"What makes you think I would have any?" He hissed back, swatting at his cousin. "I'm not your errand boy. Just go buy some."
"What about you, Gray?" He leaned over to the raven-haired teen who immediately rolled his eyes.
"I have a few, why?" He grumbled.
"Because I need them? Hand them over." He said, shoving his hand out as the teacher turned to face the board.
"And what if I need them?" He asked, humming as he waved them in the air.
"Oh, shove it. You only hook up with Juvia nowadays and everyone knows she's out of town for the rest of the week. Give them." He snapped, Gray sighing before tossing them into his hand.
He smiled to himself as he looked down at Lucy's name, her last message ringing in his ears as if she'd spoken.
"I can't wait to see you!"
He made his way over to the room once it was late enough for her to be done, stopping one hallway away as someone hugged him from behind.
"Natsu! Hey, I've been looking for you since school let out!" An all too chipper voice said.
"You've been here for almost two hours? Sounds like a lot of work," He sighed, turning around to face the familiar head of pink hair. "What do you want, Meredy?"
"What do you mean? Don't act like every girl in class didn't see you get condoms from Fullbuster. I was just wondering who you were using them with."
"And what makes you think you're allowed to know my business? Just because we hooked up once?"
"Oh, come on," She laughed off his anger and clung to his bicep. "I'm offering, hm? It's been a while since we—"
"Gray, Gajeel, can you deal with her? I don't have time for this." He glared at her, shoving Meredy onto the ground.
The two blocked the hallway as Natsu walked away, sighing as she started to shed crocodile tears.
"What's wrong with him?! How could he push me like that?!" She bawled, Gajeel crouching down to help her up.
"Because he couldn't give less of a shit about you? Duh." He grumbled, Meredy yelping as he yanked her to her feet.
"I think you're forgetting who he is," Gray said, shoving his hands in his pockets. "We might still be in high school, but Natsu's running half the town in the shadows. You could go missing if you make the wrong move, get it? So watch yourself, Meredy, and go home. If he sees you one more time today, that's it. We're giving you a second chance; it'd be wise to let the other chicks know that the boss isn't available for your kind anymore."
"Hey, Luce," Natsu said as he slid open the classroom door, closing it carefully behind him.
She waved from the desk she sat on, a blush already present on her cheeks. He smiled, knowing her heart was beating just as fast as his.
He approached her, taking her face gently in his hands.
"You're looking well, hm? I missed seeing your smile." He rubbed his thumb gingerly against her cheek, Lucy nuzzling in the warmth of his palm.
"I missed you too." Her lips felt weak speaking in his presence, her stomach flip-flopping with every passing second.
He softly kissed her expectant lips, their lips melding together almost perfectly. Lucy swore sparks lit between them every time they kissed, the energy between them all too compatible.
It was tender and pleasant at first, things never staying too calm.
He held her chin, gradually parting her lips for himself.
Natsu smirked as her tongue met his, deepening their embrace. Her soft moans and the sound of their heavy breaths excited him, Natsu's hands falling onto her hips.
"Mmn," Lucy panted as she shook her head and pulled away, Natsu retaliating with a series of kisses trailing down from her cheek. "This isn't why I wanted to see you, Natsu."
"Why come in here, then? You know what this room is for," He groaned into her ear, teasing her sensitive skin. "I thought you were seducing me."
"I was going to, going to wait outside," She struggled to talk through the feeling of his tongue teasing her pulse point. "But I thought...thought you might kiss me, so I wanted to say hi in private."
"Oh? That's real dangerous, Luce," He purred playfully as he pulled away, smirking at her breathless appearance. "You only wanted to tease me and leave? I might have to punish you for that."
She swallowed the lump in her throat, watching as Natsu's hand began to slide up her thigh.
"There are still some people on campus so I hope you don't—"
"T-That's not why I asked to meet you here! I wanted to invite you over to my house, my parents are away for the weekend! I thought I could make you dinner like I promised?"
"Our first date?" He asked, Lucy blushing as she bit her bottom lip and nodded.
"Yeah, and I already told Sting that I'm spending the night at a friend's place," She said, toying with the ends of her skirt. "So? You could stay the night too."
"Really? Sounds cozy," He smirked at the nervous smile she sported. "I'd love to stay over. My car's parked around the corner, let's go."
"O-Okay."
Lucy quietly let out a deep breath, her heart racing wildly as she sat in the passenger's seat. It was only a twenty-minute drive to her house, but it felt so much longer than that.
His hand comfortably held her thigh, his thumb rubbing absent-mindedly against her skin. He steered easily with one hand, his eyes steady on the road. He was so…
Lucy resisted the urge to tangle their fingers together, nervous about being overly excited by his touch.
They were spending the night alone in her house…
But the blonde wasn't dumb and knew what she was asking for. The insinuation was more than obvious, though she really did want to make him dinner.
Natsu was a fan of food in general, and she was excited to make him a home-cooked meal.
And maybe if she hadn't planned to do it tonight, they would've done it in that classroom.
She stepped out into the chilly early evening, thanking Natsu for opening her door. He wrapped his arm around her shoulders, leading them toward her front door.
"So, what are you making?" He asked as she led them into her home.
"Can I surprise you? I think it'd be more exciting that way," She asked, the short hallway expanding into her living room. "If you don't mind watching t.v. while I cook?"
"I was thinking about holding your hips and watching your hands work their magic while I watch over your shoulder," He hummed, smirking at the blush on her cheeks. "But yeah, I can watch something. Take your time."
"No peeking," She said, walking off into the kitchen. "Okay?"
"Understood." He chuckled, flipping on the television and pulling out his phone.
He turned onto a random channel and pulled out his phone to double-check his messages.
Gray let him know that Meredy was taken care of, knowing the pink-haired girl would get the word out to anyone who would listen. Of course, she'd most likely whine to anyone who would listen, aka, the other hook-ups Natsu had in the past. As long as they knew he wasn't single.
And Gajeel learned from Lily that Happy was still successfully keeping tabs on Sting. Who still seemed none the wiser; what a fucking loser.
He let his eyes close, listening to the low hum of the newscast paired with Lucy's cooking.
He could hear the closing and reopening of the fridge, her pots and pans clanging together, the light noise of her chopping and washing vegetables.
Natsu wanted to stand in the doorway and watch her cook, absorbing every image of her he could. She'd probably blush and fidget under his gaze, her lips parting to gasp for air, feeling stifled by him. She'd stop halfway through chopping her salad to scold him, unable to hide the cute turn of her lips. Even if she acted annoyed, he always knew she was secretly enjoying herself. And when she turned around to saute in the pan, he'd creep up behind her, quickly securing his hands around her waist. Lucy would whine and tell him that it was supposed to be a surprise, but how could he resist? Especially when she looked so cute in an apron?
Their food would probably get cold, but it'd be worth it to see her bent over the kitchen counter, in nothing but a cute pink apron, dripping between her legs from his creampie.
"Fuck…" Natsu groaned, forcing himself to focus on the news, hoping it would help calm his boner down.
He sat across from her at the table, watching her with a sweet smile as she rushed to set down their food.
"I don't mind helping," He hummed, hearing Lucy's head shake from the other room. "I'll feel like a spoiled brat if all you do is let me sit around."
"I'm just grabbing plates, it's okay!" She called back, Natsu nodding as he surveyed the table.
His eyes dropped to the spread as the scents wafted under his nose, his mouth watering at the sight.
It smelled wonderful coming out of the kitchen, but to have it in front of him…
"Fuck…" He whispered under his breath again, how could a home-cooked meal get him hard? Maybe not so much the food as it was thinking about who made it. Lucy made it for him...now that was a turn-on.
"Alright, dig in!" She instructed, Natsu wasting no time to plate an amalgamation of everything she made.
Some sort of fried rice, orange chicken, roasted vegetables, and spicy wings; again, just for him. The glaze on the chicken was sweet and sour, just sticky enough and not too wet to keep the breading crunchy. His mind wandered again, wondering if Lucy had any extra in the kitchen. Screw whipped cream and chocolate sauce, he wanted to drench her in this stuff.
He could taste the pepper flakes in the rice, knowing they were both partial to liking a bit of spice. It was too dangerous to cover her in those, unfortunately.
He'd never had garlic roasted beets in a mix before, but somehow it worked. They were slightly pickled yet still crunchy, the purple juice dribbling down both of their lips, making them laugh.
And the wings...now those really were just for him. He'd have to ask for the recipe to know how she achieved something absolutely so...hot. Eating them was akin to spreading a fire in the pit of his stomach, a sensation Natsu didn't know he craved.
If her eyes weren't cast onto her own plate, Lucy would be able to see the carnal desire Natsu emitted with every bite.
She was pleased by their casual dinner conversation, blushing every time Natsu complimented her cooking.
He asked about her day and begged to listen to even the insignificant moments, audibly wishing he could have been by her side.
She left out any mention of Sting, even if she knew he didn't care otherwise about him. This was their night, and she was keen on forgetting about him.
Natsu similarly left out the mention of Meredy, knowing it'd kill the mood if he talked about any past relationships, however minor.
They finished their dinner within due time, dessert far from their thoughts as they began to clean up. Though the dishes could be done in the morning.
"Do you want to shower first?" Lucy asked in a rushed breath as they made their way to the bedroom, Natsu shaking his head.
"You go ahead first, I don't mind waiting," He insisted. "I need to go down to my car and get some spare clothes I have out."
"Sure, sounds good." Lucy nodded with a nervous smile, Natsu leaving her with a ginger kiss on the forehead.
He always carried spares in case he got blood on something, grateful he had his family's staff changing it out once in a while.
His phone rang as soon as he got outside, Natsu answering with a jovial tone.
"Hey, Wendy, are you okay?"
"Yeah, Natsu-nii! Happy just wanted me to pass on a message."
"Oh really? What's up?" He asked as his little sister cleared her throat.
"He said to make sure you're gone before noon, Sting is planning to pick up Lucy for a surprise date."
"Thanks for the heads up, kiddo. Go ahead and get some sleep before it gets any later, okay?"
"Mhm! Goodnight!" She hung up efficiently, Natsu clicking his teeth in annoyance. There went staying up all night. Even if they didn't have much to talk about, he planned to whisper nonstop sweet nothings in her ear. Tonight he wanted to shower Lucy with love.
Lucy swallowed the lump in her throat as Natsu approached her, fresh out of the shower. She scooted back from the edge of her bed, stopping when her back hit the wall.
Only his boxer briefs? Oh goodness...
"Y-Your pajamas?" She asked, almost in a whisper as her voice seemed to fade in his presence.
"I don't really think I need to get dressed if I'm just gonna take it all off, don't you agree?" He smirked as she turned away shyly, toying with the ends of her shirt.
"Don't be shy, I like the way you seduced me tonight." He hummed, crawling onto the bed as she fiddled with her sheets.
"What...what do you mean?" She felt her face burning, wavering eyes staring at his fierce ones.
"I've never had anyone cook me dinner, just imagining you in that kitchen was too much for me," He almost moaned, Lucy feeling her heart race as he lowered himself into her line of sight. "And running me a bath before bed? Feels like we're living together, hm?
She felt her hands shaking, chest rising so slow and so fast at the same time. He continued to close the space between them with every word, his hot breath on her cheek as he practically moaned into her ear.
He made her stomach swim with delight, Lucy hoping she wouldn't end up with a wild kink for this in the long run. Role-playing was just that, why not give in?
"Yes…" She moaned as he pressed a hot kiss to the column of her neck, the passion of his touch almost magnetic.
"Mm," He groaned, grinding down on her thigh. "You'd make a great wife, Lucy. And an even better mom...fuck, I can imagine it all already."
She wrapped her arms around his neck as he kissed her lips, pulling her flush against his chest.
His kisses were always gentle at first, greeting her with an acknowledgment that she had all of his attention. He smoothly parted the plump borders with his tongue, coaxing her own to follow his retreat. They both moaned as their tongues collided, bumping and rubbing in places she never knew could feel so good.
"I'll build you a house with my own fucking hands, somewhere just for the two of us."
Her shirt passed between their embrace, Lucy desperate for his lips once they were lost. His warm hands on her sides, moving along her back and carving around her shoulders.
"Ngh...Natsu…" His hand squeezed her breast as he kissed her neck, his voice unable to stop painting a word picture.
"I thought about bending you over the counter and fucking you till our food got cold," He confessed, her insides twisting as he continued. "I wanted to cover you in that sweet and sour sauce and lick you all over."
"I want to be so fucking reckless and give you a baby right now," His hand fell between them, rubbing on her cotton-covered vagina. "Just get you so fucking pregnant with my kid. My kid, don't you like the sound of that, Lucy?"
She mewled, rocking her hips into his hand, her arms around him as he continued.
"It'll feel real hot right here," Their eyes met as he placed his hand just below her belly button. "When I creampie the fuck out of your pussy. It'll drip down your legs and remind you of what we did, my naughty wife."
His words were hypnotic, somehow creating a suffocating feeling that stretched throughout the room. It smothered her like a stream of hot lava rolling over her body, the air suddenly humid. Her lights were dim, whisping behind them like flames on a candle. Her body thrummed with excitement, the burning sensation between her legs churning with every whisper and creation of fantasy.
He created a fog of lust, trapping them both inside his world of desires and absolute hunger. Lucy never imagined begging like this before. Everything moved so slowly, yet so quickly. How was she already on his lap, bouncing up and down while he held her arms steady?
He laid back, bucking his hips upward as she used her own strength to move. He wore a condom, obviously, but still carried on the illusion of their baby-making fun.
When he grabbed her hips and fucked into her, they both came from the overwhelming pressure of their built-up excitement.
But once wouldn't be enough for either tonight.
"Fuck me, Natsu...oh…! Yes...yes...ah!" Lucy gripped her pillows as she was faced into them, Natsu's hands leaving a mark as he held her steady from behind, brandishing her back with open mouth kisses. Nor would twice be enough for either.
Lucy would never be able to get out the feeling of Natsu gently kissing her sex, teasing her with thoughts of the future.
"After that dinner, there's no way I wouldn't pamper my girl. Just tell me where it feels good, Lucy."
His tongue worked its magic over her clit, his lips puckering and massaging every swollen inch.
"I can fit four fingers, after all that, I'm not surprised." He chuckled, feeling how perfectly he fucked her.
He pushed against her g-spot, Lucy tossing her head as he began to rub furiously against it.
"If...if you…! Natsu, Natsu, oh Natsu, I'll–!" He lifted her hips as she crooned, the gangster licking his lips as he watched her struggle to release.
He pushed her over the edge as he bent forward, his tongue flicking her over sensitive bud.
Lucy panted, her voice barely held back as she squirt all over him, before subsequently passing out.
"Holy shit…"
The next morning was more than pleasant enough to wake up to, both feeling overly satisfied from their raunchy night together.
Lucy felt her cheeks burn as Natsu pulled her against his chest, one arm comfortably holding her against him. The scent of her body soap melding with his skin made her heart skip, adrenaline keeping her from falling back asleep.
His chin sat on top of her head, his arm underneath the pillows, his hand soft on the back of her neck.
The warmth of his lips on her forehead still lingered, his gentle snore warming her heart.
Natsu woke up with a yawn as the sun hit his eyes, his features twitching at the realization that Lucy had gotten up. He turned over to grab his phone, sighing as it was barely six. He was a 'ten a.m at the earliest' kind of person, but they were on a time crunch.
He heard her sink running in the bathroom, running a hand through his hair as he sat up.
Lucy walked back into the room, stretching her arms with a yawn as she made eye contact with Natsu.
"Hey, you're awake?"
"I couldn't find you," He chuckled, his voice still raspy with sleep. "Figured I woke up after you went to the bathroom. I haven't been up this early in a while."
"Sorry," She giggled, climbing back beside him. "Are you still tired? Or do you want to get some breakfast?"
"Let's cuddle, no way I'm gettin' up early. We probably won't get to see each other for a while again."
"You're right." She closed her eyes and laid her head down, settling back into his gingerly hold.
"And I received some not very good news last night," He sighed, running his hands through Lucy's hair. "So we can't stay in for long."
"What do you mean?" She asked, not bothering to move.
"I have someone watching Sting, and they overheard that he wants to pick you up for a surprise date. You're not supposed to be home right now."
"What?" Lucy shot up, panicking slightly as she sat forward. "Oh my gosh, when?"
"Around noon? There's still time, but we won't get to be as lazy as we want." He sighed.
"I wanted to spend the whole day with you," She whined, falling back against his chest. "Especially after last night."
"Oh don't remind me," He purred, Lucy feeling her stomach twist at the sound of his voice. "Last night was so hot, you were on fire, Luce."
"I'll think about it the whole time I'm with him," She pouted, Natsu raising a brow at her honesty. "O-Oh, well–"
"No, I want you to think about it. Gosh, you can't say that to a man, Lucy." The slight growl in his voice excited them both, Lucy confidently shrugging her shoulders as she made an outlandish suggestion.
"...You can give me something else to think about...in the shower?"
Natsu brushed away the hair clinging to her cheek, his fingers dancing down to the tip of her chin. They sat in his car outside Cana's house, an hour ahead of Sting's arrival. Neither were eager to part, both locked in a melancholy gaze before saying their goodbyes.
"Luce?" He asked, holding her shy eyes with his. He held a serious kindness, a look Lucy hadn't seen on him before. It was genuine, and she knew if she didn't say yes to what he was about to ask, he'd have a hard time seeing her again.
"Yeah?"
"I want you to break up with Sting."
~000~
Lucy sighed as she sipped on her smoothie, lost in thought and focusing on the seeds that came up her straw.
"Okay, what's up?" Cana asked, their other friends sitting around them with concerned looks.
"What do you mean?"
"You've been sighing into your smoothie, for what, half an hour? You've barely gotten through your homework either. This won't be much of a study sesh till you spill it." Levy chimed in, folding her arms as the others nodded.
"Juvia knows it's about Sting, right? Did he finally kiss you?" Juvia asked, the lot of them knowing she wasn't absolutely committed to her relationship.
"No, that's not it." She shook her head.
"It definitely has something to do with whoever dropped you off at my place last weekend. You said it was a chauffeur, but I know the cars you usually take." The brunette glared suspiciously. "And you sat out there for like twenty minutes before going in. I know you always get a rundown of the rules, but there's no way it–"
"If I tell you, you have to promise to keep it to yourselves," Lucy whispered, pulling the group to lean into the center of the table.
"What is it?" Levy gulped nervously.
"I'm cheating on Sting."
"What?!" She quickly shushed her friends, the three of them sitting back with stunned expressions, doing their best to gather themselves.
"Oh my...I didn't think you'd actually…" Cana gasped, unable to hide her wide smile. "Oh my gosh, who is he? I thought you were looking more womanly recently, you did it, didn't you?"
"That...may have been how we met." Lucy blushed, still whispering underneath the bustle of the cafe they sat in.
"You…! With a stranger?!" Levy shouted in her hushed voice, half blushing with confusion and embarrassment.
"That's how Juvia met Gray-sama," The other blunette shrugged. "Juvia knows it's true love, isn't it, Lucy-san?"
"He's…" Her lips couldn't help but twist at the thought of Natsu, her chest warming as her heart skipped a beat. They were just texting that morning, Natsu sending her a picture of the messy breakfast he attempted to make with his little sister. "...definitely my true love."
"Who is?!" They almost squealed at the sight of their friend's warm smile, all huddled together to learn the name of her secret rendezvous.
"Natsu Dragneel."
"You're... you're kidding…" Levy leaned back again, covering her mouth in absolute shock.
"Lucy, I'm all for messing around on the side, but him? Isn't he really bad news? Not even in general, but if Sting ever finds out–"
"Find out about what?" Their backs stiffened as his voice shrouded over them, everyone turning to face him with a fake smile.
"It's a surprise, silly! Exactly why we were telling her not to talk about it here, because you could pop up at any time!" Cana laughed, the others letting out a collective sigh.
"Oh, a surprise? Maybe I'll get it out of you on the way home," Sting chuckled as he gestured for Lucy to stand. "Come on, before it's any later."
"I'll see you guys at school," Lucy waved, motioning for them to text her. "Okay?"
"Yeah, bye, Lucy!"
"Is your surprise why you've been all antsy recently?" Sting asked as he looked over to her from the driver's seat.
"What do you mean?" She hummed, twiddling with her sweater string.
"Oh come on, I've known you since we were kids, Lucy. You're more obvious than you think you are sometimes. But I guess you'll tell me when you're ready to, so that's fine." He sighed, playfully nudging her as he continued his focus on the road.
Lucy smiled to herself as he started to drive away; this was the part of Sting she liked the most. Their parents putting them in a relationship made it hard to feel like childhood friends, but every once in a while he was kind enough to remind her of himself. He was a good friend who didn't deserve to be lied to.
As soon as she walked through her doors, Cana was texting her like crazy to get on a video call in her room. She was up the stairs in a quick second, knowing her parents were still out. But even if they were late, her curfew was still necessary; they'd never let her forget that.
Levy and Juvia were squished at her side, everyone looking into the webcam as they clamored for the details that would surely leave them blushing.
Natsu was on her mind as she went to school the next day, constantly feeling gushy after their good morning and good night texts.
And now that her friends knew, she felt more courage to finally confess to Sting. And if she really wanted to be with Natsu, she'd have to be honest.
They left off on good terms after he dropped her off, Lucy agreeing that she wanted to end things with Sting. There was no ultimatum, no timestamp of when he wanted her to do it. She said yes and he kissed her goodbye, still texting her and calling her whenever he had the chance.
She felt a bit nervous, walking in the emptying hallway as everyone headed in the opposite direction. Sting's arm was around her like usual, waving to his friends and following Lucy.
"Is this where the surprise is?" He asked as they entered an old, empty classroom. Lucy shook her head, moving to lean against a desk as she took in a deep breath.
"I have something to confess, Sting." She began, the other blonde quirking a brow as he sat across from her.
"What's up? Everything good at home?"
"Yeah, of course, don't worry," She laughed lightly, shaking her head. "It's...well, it's about us."
"Okay,"
"I... I'm in love with–"
"I'm cheating on you with Rogue!" He quickly shouted, standing up with his hands covering her mouth. "I'm in love with Rogue, please don't say it."
"Rogue?" Lucy said slowly as Sting groaned, carrying himself across the room.
"I didn't know how to tell you, Lulu...I didn't mean for it to happen like this. Just one night, we were hanging out and he kissed me. And from then on...ugh, I'm sorry."
"I–"
"Please don't be mad, I know I should've told you sooner," He said, quickly turning back around and kneeling at her side. "I love you both, you know? But the way I love him is…"
"I love you too, Sting," Lucy smiled, patting the blonde on the head as he began to tear up. "But what I was trying to say was, is that I'm in love with Natsu Dragneel."
"Natsu? That fucking brat from the other side of town?" He pursed his lips, glaring down at her as he stood up. She rolled her eyes, more than used to his overprotective tendencies. "I don't think so."
"It's not up for debate," She sighed, standing up to match his glare. "And what if I said I didn't approve of Rogue?"
"I wouldn't listen to you," He frowned, Lucy nodding triumphantly. "But still! That guy goes around beating people up in the middle of the night–"
"And so do you," She shook her head and sighed with a smile. "Come on, I really like him."
"I would've rather caught you cheating on me with Rogue," He groaned, rubbing a hand over his face. "But fine, I guess if you like him, I'll put up with his ass."
"Let's get going, yeah? Before it gets any later." Lucy said as she started for the door, Sting following after her.
Lucy felt like the weight of the world had lifted from her shoulders, smiling to herself as she walked into her house.
She rushed up to her bedroom, ready to call Natsu to come over to hear the good news.
"Hey, Luce," Natsu said from his spot on her bed, petting the blue kitten curled up on his chest. "Took you long enough, don't you think?"
"What are you doing here?" She asked, happily jumping on to lay by his side, kissing him on the cheek.
"I just wanted to see you," He smiled, nudging the kitten awake from his sleep. "And this lil guy gave me the good news."
"Which is?" She asked as he chuckled, the cat yawning as he stood up.
"He's the one who's been keeping his eye on Sting, so he let me know what you guys were talking about."
"You had a kitten following him around?" Lucy stifled her laugh. "You're kidding, right?"
"He's the best in my crew," Natsu pouted, scratching him under his chin. "Meet Happy."
"How does he tell you what he's seen? Can he talk?" Lucy asked as she ran her fingers down his back, giggling as Happy purred.
"Uh, no, weirdo," Natsu rolled his eyes playfully as Lucy slapped his chest. "We trained him to use a voice recorder. But he's not that hard to understand."
"I love you too, Lucy." He said as he turned over, moving to sit on his knees. "I love you so much. So, will you be my girl?"
"Do you even need to ask?"
I honestly was going to use the classic, jealous kidnapping ending lol but it's so cliche! I think it was much nicer to write a Sting who truly wanted Lucy to be happy!
I hope you enjoyed! The semester is almost over ugh but I have a shit ton to do bc by professors have us playing a bunch of catch up which suuuucks
I'm taking one class this winter and then another full course load during the spring!
Also, let me know if any of the transitions didn't make sense, I'm trying to move on in a scene without the ~000~'s
