You ever notice that sometimes people say they're taking a break from doing a project, then years later they come back and promise to continue it, even releasing a short continuation in the process? But then they never do continue it and their project is left to rot among the millions of other unfinished projects, doomed to a shallow grave behind the IHOP, the only one to even acknowledge their existence the underpaid undertaker who is probably just thinking about what to eat after they're done?

I feel the metaphor has become lost.
