Central Calendar 20th Day of the 4th Month of the Year 1639, Myhark, Principality of Qua-Toyne, 9:00

After a harrowing standoff yesterday in the oceans far to the north, the state of Japan and the Principality of Qua-Toyne were now about to formally begin talks to establish diplomatic relations. To represent her country, Princess Llanfair of Qua-Toyne has travelled to her villa in the city of Myhark where the meeting will take place. Earlier, as her convoy was entering the city to cheering fanfare from its citizens, she saw a massive, grey ship moving close to Myhark's harbor entrance bearing a flag that resembled the banner of the emissaries. Remembering reports of Japan's ships from the Myhark Naval Garrison, she concluded that the ship was likely the one ferrying the Japanese delegation. Unlike the other people, including her maids and her cooks, who took the appearance of the colossal ship with interest, curiosity, and excitement, she felt quite livid.

Damn it... What a show of power...

She felt the encroaching reality of a powerful nation to the west absorbing her domain. She wanted to deny it; to believe that her powerful army would stand against the Lourian threat. Countless council meetings where her military minister pleaded with her to ask for aid from other nations, only for her to turn him down and say "I have faith in the sons of daughters of Qua-Toyne and in my own power." She knew deep down in her heart that Qua-Toyne would not survive. As she was thinking of rousing up her citizens to get them to enter military service, they appeared. The damned emissaries. Sending a flying object straight into the heart of her nation, the emissaries exposed to everyone, including her, the reality that Qua-Toyne wasn't in good military condition. The emissaries exposing her nation's weakness and then offering to be friends was nothing less than humiliating for her.

Are you pitying us for being helpless to do anything?! Are you rubbing it in our faces that we can't do shit?!

As her thoughts grew more violent, so did her actions. While lashing out was a good venting strategy, it can't be said to be the same if there was a person on the other end of the lashing.

"P-Please... I... I can't..."

Ignoring the person's pleas, Llanfair proceeds to do the opposite. Putting more force into her right hand, she thrusted her fingers up the person's exposed bottom as she motioned her left hand to re-attach the gag on the person's mouth.

"Mmmm!"

"What's that, Silas? I can't hear you."

As she forcefully slid her right fingers back and forth inside the man's bottom, she looked at the elven man, Silas, who was strapped to a table with his privates exposed, with a sinister grin. Silas looked back at her with teary, yet lustful eyes as he felt a gush of hormones from Llanfair's incessant fingers. However, despite feeling good, he wanted the devious Princess to stop.

"Mmmm!"

Tears dropped down from his cheeks as saliva dripped from the gag. Llanfair, however, proceeded to intensify her plugging.

"I'm afraid I didn't hear the word 'princess,' my dear..."

As the pleasure from below mounted up, it became harder for him to find the strength to say the words. Finding a break in the Princess's actions, he was able to divert energy to his speech.

"Mmppph! Mmmp-"

Before he could muffle completely, he felt the limit to his pleasures break. As the pleasure soared, his manhood erupted in glee, setting free what has been keeping him mentally preoccupied. His waist moved up as if being caught in the inertia of the climax, only to be stopped by the very straps keeping him within his princess's hold. The flung white fluid rained down on Llanfair's dress and on his face and body, making him flinch as he continued to muffle sighs of relief. With parts of her arm and dress splattered with Silas's warm, sticky, fluids, Llanfair relished in forcefully making her concubine ejaculate.

"Hah... Wasn't that a delight, Silas?"

Silas, seeing the Princess's eyes darken further, only cried more as he made more attempts to get her to stop. Blindfolding him and restraining his hands, she freed him from his straps and forced him to kneel on the ground before removing his gag. Robbed of his sight, he could only hear and smell, as well as finally talk and breathe. Just as he was catching his breath, he felt the princess stand in front of him.

"If you really want me to stop, you have to address me accordingly."

"Prin-"

Just as he was about to call her out, he encountered a setback as something soft and squishy was pressed against his mouth and face. With his face deep in it, it smelled acidic with a touch of lust, with his lips encountering softer resistance. As he moved his lips to probe the fleshy object, he felt the entire object shake in reaction, coupled with faint moans coming from the princess's voice. Realizing where he is, he tried jerking his head back but the princess's hands on the back of his head kept it firm in place. A moment later, the princess asked him once more.

"What was that, Silas?"

Trying to get her to stop, Silas shouted her name, only to be muffled by Llanfair's own womanhood. As his lips spelled out her name, the motions stimulated her most sensitive parts, translating into immense pleasure, which is then reflected as auditory gasps for air.

"Ngh... I can't hear you!"

Once more, Silas called her name. Once more, she ignored it, pressing Silas's lips deeper into her. When Silas ignores her commands, she pulls on his hair and makes her tone more menacing and threatening, getting the man to resume calling out her name. As the process repeated, her legs began to tremble and gave way from the satisfaction she felt in her crotch, which became even wetter and more slippery. With the deadly feedback loop in full swing, she was in the midst of her amusement when she felt the presence of another person enter the room. Quickly regaining her consciousness from her indulgence, she used her magic to control the light in the room, dimming it so that she could dress herself and cover Silas. Looking behind her, she saw one of her maids towards the other end of the room.

"Your Highness, the High Council members are here to see you."

Still panting from the pleasure which mostly robbed her of her capacity to stand, there was a pause before she replied to make sure she had a breath to speak.

"I... I will... Hah... Tell them I will be there in a moment."

Bowing in confirmation, the maid then proceeded to exit the room. Now alone once more, she released Silas, who was now visibly tired, from his bonds.

"Let's continue this later."

Not waiting to check if Silas acknowledged it, she quickly proceeded out of the room to take a bath.

Conference room, Llanfair's villa, 11:00

With the sun nearing its zenith in the sky, the diplomats from the state of Japan and the members of the High Council of Qua-Toyne have begun taking their seats at the long table in the conference room. With both sides facing one another, they all mentally took note of the other as they hushed amongst themselves in the language that the other didn't understand. Facilitating the translation was Fenn Ambassador to Qua-Toyne, Oshi. To start the meeting, Princess Llanfair raised her hand to get everyone's attention. (For the purpose of the following chapter, lines spoken in the common tongue are in italic.)

"Let us cordially begin this meeting, which will hopefully be the first among many to come. I am Llanfair, Princess Sovereign of the Principality of Qua-Toyne, and I will be representing the Qua-Toyne side."

After Oshi translated the Princess's line to Japanese, the head diplomat, Kuribayashi Jizaburo, replied.

"Well met, your highness. My name is Kuribayashi Jizaburo from Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Before we move to more pressing matters, allow me to extend my government's apology for violating your nation's airspace."

Kuribayashi stood up and bowed, followed by the rest of the delegation. After hearing the translation, Llanfair's lips subtly twitched as she swallowed to keep calm after being irked at the mention of their airspace being violated so easily. Taking a deep breath, she replies.

"I accept your apology."

Hearing the translation of the reply, Kuribayashi and the others sat down on their seats once more. Immediately afterwards, Senior Advisor Kanata, spoke up.

"While we are indeed relieved that a nation with your capabilities isn't hostile towards us, I'm afraid that none of us here have ever heard of your nation before. I still find it difficult to believe that you are from an island in the middle of Rodenius and Philades."

After hearing the translation, Kuribayashi made a slight "hmm" as he reached out for his briefcase and procured from it a map of Japan's immediate surroundings based on various sources as well as pictures of Japan. Presenting the pictures to the Qua-Toyne officials, he then stood up and held up the map to orally describe it.

"I'm not sure if it's a translation error, but we are not from an island. What your fleet saw was one of our southernmost islands, Ishigaki."

He pointed to a small, almost invisible island to the lower left of the map among some islands that were closest to the Rodenius continent. He then moved his finger upwards to the right, where they saw even bigger islands that curve towards the northeast.

"This is the rest of the country of Japan."

Hearing the translation, the eyes of everyone on the Qua-Toyne side widened at the scale of the state of Japan. There was now even more doubt to the diplomat's statement. How did they miss such a massive country before? Seeing the doubts on the other side's faces, Kuribayashi continued.

"It wasn't supposed to be this way. Early morning yesterday, the entire country was blanketed in a white sky as earthquakes shook the ground. We then lost all contact with other nations from our world. After everything settled down, our government sent out patrol planes to find landmasses from our planet but we instead stumbled on nations such as yours."

The Qua-Toyne side then remembered the reports of the flying object that had come in from the northeast. While the world transfer phenomenon that the Japanese side were insisting on was difficult to digest, they also couldn't explain how they were not there before yesterday, as well as the sophistication of their country in comparison with them and the rest of the Third Civilization Area. As for Llanfair, she found the story to be similar to how the Emissaries of the Sun God appeared from another world to aid them. Sensing that the other council members were waiting for her response, she gave it.

"We will believe your story since we don't have any evidence to suggest otherwise, but even if we will, there is one more thing that's on everyone's minds right now: Why are you here in Qua-Toyne? Are you really here to just establish diplomatic relations?"

After hearing the translation and feeling Llanfair's prying gaze, Kuribayashi returned the favor with stern eyes. He then motioned to one of the other diplomats to pull out their own briefcase. Procuring from it sheets of paper, the diplomat handed it to Kuribayashi.

"Naturally, we are also here to seek trade partners to prop up our economy after losing our valuable trade partners from our old world."

Pausing for a moment to look back up at Llanfair and the others, Kuribayashi continued.

"After learning from our patrol planes that your country commands a vast, continent-spanning agricultural plain, we decided to prioritize the importation of food and various other food-stuffs in our trade with you."

Kuribayashi then pointed to the pictures of Qua-Toyne that he had spread out earlier, which depicted endless plains of farmland, only interrupted by the occasional farmhouse and road. Hearing the translation of Kuribayashi's statement, Llanfair looked down to think for a moment before facing Kuribayashi's unrelenting stare once more.

"How much food are you asking for?"

Somehow understanding the question, Kuribayashi didn't wait for the translation.

"There are many kinds of foodstuff, but for now let's go with wheat. Last year, we were importing around 5.8 million tonnes of wheat."

Hearing the translation, the council member tasked with trade asked Kuribayashi.

"Excuse me, but what is a 'tonne'? For comparison, our largest scale for mass is based on the mass of water filling up this space."

The council member then stood up to use his arms as a tool to show how big the space was. Seeing the space and measuring it mentally, Kuribayashi and the others concluded that a single unit of the Qua-Toynians' largest scale for mass was almost identical to the ton.

"The ton that we use is near identical to the scale that you provided."

Expecting surprise from the other side as his statement was translated, he was perplexed when the council members and Llanfair all had nonchalant reactions to it. Llanfair then replied to Kuribayashi.

"5.8 million huh... That alone is for one kind of food so I will assume that the other types are as plentiful, yes?"

Hearing the translation of Llanfair's reply, Kuribayashi nodded.

"Yes. In exchange, while our currency exchange rate is being established, we will export our everyday goods, as well as invest in developing your infrastructure to hasten the transportation of goods. For no-"

Hearing the translation being given in real time by Oshi, Llanfair then raised her hand to stop Kuribayashi, who then looked at her with a poker face. With the room silent, Llanfair put her hands together before speaking.

"We are a land blessed by our goddess, who provides us with year-round bountiful harvests and soil that makes any crop flourish. The 5.8 million that you need is but a grain of sand in our agricultural sandbox. If you want, we alone can meet your yearly quota on ALL foodstuffs."

Hearing the translation, Kuribayashi and the other diplomats looked at each other. While it may have been an exaggeration, the pictures of Qua-Toyne's huge expanses of farmland taken by their patrol plane put merit behind Llanfair's statement. Despite wheat comprising most of the farmland that they saw, they reasoned that they'll eventually learn sooner or later whether Qua-Toyne can actually grow any kind of crop. Concluding that the deal was too good to be true, Kuribayashi turned to Llanfair with doubtful eyes.

"I assume that there's an underlying condition for that offer, your highness?"

Getting straight to the point, Llanfair leans forward.

"As the sovereign, my word means law in this country. At my command, I can have food production diverted to meet your miniscule quota. Obviously, for a fair deal, we will still accept your offer on infrastructure and everyday commodities. Diplomatically, I can also say that you can consider us friends. However, before that, I do have an underlying condition for you to fulfill."

Hearing the translation, Kuribayashi took a deep breath before continuing.

"I am all ears, your highness."

"I want to see your country for myself and have a meeting with your leaders, or at least those who have a say in your country's affairs."

Kuribayashi and the others discussed amongst themselves. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expected that the other country will want to send a delegation to Japan and so has come up with a plan in receiving the delegation. However, they didn't expect a head of state to be the one leading the delegation. While the changes to the plan may be relatively minor, it was still somewhat outside the scope. Kuribayashi then returned to Llanfair's eager yet composed eyes.

"We will forward your request to our government. For now..."

Continuing their meeting regarding trade, the Japanese diplomats were taken aback by the Qua-Toynians being nonchalant in agreeing to exporting the amount of food that they needed. Turning the tables on the Qua-Toynians, the Japanese then brought out some samples of their commodities, which astonished and perplexed the Qua-Toynian side. At the end of the meeting, which had gone past lunchtime, the two sides agreed to meet once more to finalize the trade deal between Japan and Qua-Toyne.

Central Calendar 3rd Day of the 5th Month of the Year 1639, Myhark, Principality of Qua-Toyne, 8:00

2 weeks after the first meeting between Japanese diplomats and members of the High Council of Qua-Toyne, Princess Llanfair's request for an official state visit to Japan has been approved by the Japanese government after health checks on the Qua-Toyne delegation selected for the visit. The delegation will be transported from Myhark to Okinawa via a JGSDF MV-22B Osprey. After arriving at Okinawa, they will then transfer to a jet plane bound for Tokyo, where they will check in at a hotel arranged by the Japanese government. The following day, they will be transported to the National Diet Building, where they will meet with the Japanese parliament in a televised session.

It was currently 8 in the morning. The sight of Myhark residents and foreign merchants going about their late morning routines was in full swing. At the harbor, a group of Qua-Toyne's High Council, accompanied by Princess Llanfair in discreet apparel, was waiting in the warm morning sunlight for their Japanese counterparts. Not long after the hands on the watches they'd been gifted weeks before struck 8:05, diplomat Kuribayashi and a Fennese well-dressed man approached them.

"Good morning to you all and your highness. I will be accompanying you on the rest of your journey. Helping us in translation is Kado here, the new Fenn Ambassador to Japan."

Translating Kuribayashi's statement, Kado bowed, followed by Kuribayashi. After they rose up, Llanfair stepped forward.

"Nice to meet you, Sir Kado. As for you, Sir Kuribayashi, I'm assuming that we will be using that ship to go to... Okinawa, right?"

Llanfair then pointed out to the massive grey ship anchored just outside the Myhark harbor. After Kado translated Llanfair's question, Kuribayashi replied.

"That ship is carrying the aircraft that we will use to get to Okinawa. To get to that ship, we will be using some of our fast boats which I'm sure you're familiar with."

Remembering the reports of Captain Midori, who had made contact with Japanese ships and "fast boats," Llanfair and the others were excited with the prospect of getting to ride on one. Dominating their excitement, however, was the fact that they will get to ride on one of the Japanese's flying objects, which are called aircraft. As they were imagining how it'll go, their thoughts were interrupted by an annoying, buzzing sound. Looking towards the harbor where they heard the sound coming from, they saw two small black boats approaching the docks at unbelievably fast speeds. The council members that had doubted Midori's reports were shocked at how fast the boats cut through the water. With the boats nearing the docks, Kuribayashi spoke up.

"Our ride is here."

As the council members hurried to pick up their luggage, the MSDF officers on the docked boats disembarked to help them. With Japanese officers offering to carry her luggage, Princess Llanfair approached the boats before hesitating to step onto one of them. Seeing this, Kuribayashi, who was now onboard the boat, reached his hand out to the princess to help her. Llanfair accepted his offer and took his hand as he helped her board the boat. With the loading complete and the passengers seated, the MSDF officers unmoored the boats from the docks before speeding away towards the big ship awaiting them outside the harbor. The shock from experiencing the boat's speed startled Llanfair and the others, who now braced themselves for the incredible shocks and experiences that they will go through on the rest of the journey.

Destroyer Izumo

Emerging out to the huge, flat open deck of the Japanese ship, Llanfair and the other Qua-Toynians were aghast at the ship's size, which they still refused to believe. Taking steps on the solid, unwavering flight deck, Llanfair could see her supposedly prosperous city of Myhark in the distance reduced to a mere, unimpressive harbor town. "Is this how the Japanese see my city?", she thought to herself as her fears of an inferior Qua-Toyne came back to haunt her. Sweeping these fears to the corners of her heart, she turned around to see her fellow council members being led by the Japanese to a big, shiny, grey object parked on the deck. It had wings, suspended at the ends of which were giant columns pointing to the sky with black protrusions at the top ends which resemble windmills. Carved out towards the end of its belly was a ramp which led deeper into the aircraft's innards. As she followed her fellow council members towards the opening, she noticed that the windmills on both ends of the wings had begun to turn. Before she could witness more, however, she was guided into the belly of the aircraft, which was modestly spacious and had rows of seats on both sides. Seeing her council members seated, she then took a seat towards the left, next to Senior Advisor Kanata and Kuribayashi. With them seated, they were all given headwear to wear for the duration of the air journey, which, according to Kuribayashi and Kado, was for communicating. Looking at it, she instinctively knew how to fit it on her head and which parts were supposed to be on her elongated ears. Before everyone knew, the scenery towards the opening of the belly had changed. They saw the flight deck that they had been stepping on a while ago get further and further, accelerating excitement and terror among the Qua-Toynians. Soon, the rate at which the scenery changed accelerated and the big ship that they were on grew smaller and smaller.

Kadena Air Force Base, Okinawa, 10:30

After a surprisingly short and comfortable flight, Llanfair and the others were able to step out of the Osprey onto a vastly different land. There, she noticed that the smooth pavement that she was on extended all across the area. She also noticed that all around them were aircraft of various shapes and sizes as well as copies of the aircraft that they had boarded. However, besides the glittering buildings and the shiny aircraft, one thing caught her attention. Far off to one side, beyond what seemed to be a fence, were a gathering of thousands of people wearing clothing of assorted colors. Trying to look closely, she deduced that some of them were holding up signs written in scripts she didn't understand. Still, from her time as sovereign, she felt from them an emotion which she similarly felt from her own citizens in some cases: anger. The people beyond the fence were visibly agitated and angry as she started to hear shouts from different languages once the loud sounds from the aircraft quieted down. Before she could examine them any further, she heard her council members call out to her, getting her to remember her priorities.

They were now led to another aircraft, which was vastly different from the one that they had boarded to go to Okinawa. Its wings were bigger and its body was cylindrical and shiny. Instead of finding windmills, she instead found two huge, horizontal columns affixed to the upper end of its rear. This time, the opening that led towards the inside of the aircraft was on its side, which was connected to the ground via a staircase. Kuribayashi then led them towards the staircase to climb up. Once they were inside, Llanfair and the Qua-Toynians, as well as Kado, were mesmerized by the comparatively more comfortable and luxurious interior of the aircraft. Unlike the hard seats of the previous one, the seats of this aircraft were much more plump. It felt as if their butts could sink into them. As Kuribayashi noted to them, they could even ask for meals while they were on the flight. Settling into their relaxing seats, they felt the entire aircraft jerk as it was taxied onto the runway. After several minutes and a harrowing experience for the Qua-Toynians as they felt the aircraft speed up, they were now back in the air.

Haneda International Airport , Tokyo, 13:30

Having arrived in the capital of Japan, Llanfair and the Qua-Toyne delegation were led out of the plane after it had come to a stop. Reminiscing back on the unexpectedly luxurious journey, Llanfair remembered looking out the window. While it was initially gratifying to see that they were above the clouds, the same, unending scenery lost its punch. As they got closer to the capital, however, she was taken aback by the sheer scale of what unfolded before her. Once the sea gave way to land, she was met by an endless color of grey that stretched out towards the horizon. Amongst the ocean of grey structures that rose above the ground were glittering pillars that stretched out to the heavens. Looking at the tall, mirror-plasted buildings, she felt her sense of scale collapse. After having seen the Japanese capital, she lamented as she remembered how Myhark looked from on board the Japanese ship. In comparison, the splendid city of Myhark really did seem like an insignificant coastal outpost. As she and her delegation walked through a long hallway affixed with smooth, high-quality marble, she looked to the right and left which were both lined with extremely clear glass, enabling her to see the other, gigantic aircraft parked in what the Japanese called an 'airport,' a place that facilitates air travel between towns, cities, and even countries.

After going through some processes which she didn't understand, they were finally outside the airport once more. Outside, they were then led to a group of sleek, shiny black carriages which the Japanese called 'cars.' Boarding one of them, Llanfair was surprised at how compact and cozy the interior was. After their luggage was stored in the cars' stowage, they finally departed. As the car sped up, she noted how the car didn't shake violently in contrast to the carriages that she was accustomed to back home.

I have to ask Kuribayashi or their leaders if these cars are for sale.

Once they were onto the streets of the capital, Llanfair expected to be taken aback by the splendor of this seemingly wealthy and powerful country. While the unexplainable structures and alien signage did surprise her, she was more dumbfounded by how dead the capital was. They were the only cars out, despite the size of the streets being able to accommodate even more. The sidewalks were devoid of people and the places that seemed to be establishments on the streetside were all closed and darkened. Just as she wondered where everyone was, her questions were soon answered. On multiple occasions, they passed certain places where there were long lines of people. Taking a quick glance at their faces before the car left them, she saw that they were disheartened, confused, and frustrated. Whenever they passed a big sprawling park, a refuge of green in an otherwise grey metropolis, she saw barriers around the park manned by what seemed to be armored personnel clad in blue and black, keeping in what seemed to be people who were crying and begging for help as their pleas fell on deaf ears. Looking more closely, the park was littered with tents and people who seemed to be living in relative squalor. She was even able to discern that some groups of people had different physical characteristics from one another and from the Japanese themselves. Looking towards Kuribayashi, who was in the same car, she noticed that he and the driver were actively ignoring the terrible scenes.

What's going on here? Or rather... What happened here?

Before long, their group of cars encountered a closed off street. Before they completely turned away, she was able to look down the street. There, she saw a line of armored personnel with clear, glass-like shields withstanding a hail of rocks and attacks by what seemed to be protesters. With the line of personnel being driven backwards, one of them tripped and fell, leading to that person getting focused on by attacks by the protesters, which were beaten and cuffed in retaliation by the armored personnel. Before long, a bigger, bulkier car appeared next to the uniformed personnel. A small, metallic pivot-like object on top of it suddenly spewed out an intense jet of water against the protesters, forcing them to disperse and run away.

While the violence paled in comparison to the crimes committed by Louria, it was still surprising that so much unrest and unhappiness was occurring in the Japanese capital. She wondered if the other Japanese cities were suffering the same predicaments. Some time later, they came to a stop at a winding road next to the entrance of what seemed to be a hotel. Being escorted to the entrance, Llanfair and the other Qua-Toynians were greeted by a bright, shining interior laden with all sorts of luxurious garments, colors, and furniture. It was a far cry from the chaos that they saw outside. As they admired the hotel's extravagance, they were approached by Kuribayashi and Kado.

"This hotel is where you'll be staying for the rest of your stay here in Tokyo."

As Kado translated Kuribayashi's statement, Kuribayashi handed out thin palm-sized cards to each of the members of the delegation.

"Those cards will serve as the keys to your rooms. I will show you how it works once we show you to your rooms."

As their luggage was handled by hotel staff, Kuribayashi led the Qua-Toyne delegation to their rooms.

The next day, Cent. Calendar 4th Day of the 5th Month of the Year 1639, 9:00

After going through what was a heavenly sleep, bath, and breakfast, the Qua-Toyne delegation was now en-route to the first destination in their itinerary for the day: Japan's National Diet Building. Learning from Kuribayashi that Japan's citizens elected their representatives in the government, Llanfair pondered on the philosophy behind why they adopted such a style of government. She also wondered if such a style of government was common back in the world that the Japanese came from. Looking out the window as her thoughts ran amok, she noticed how there were more people present outside the car. Looking closely, she realized that the group of people were being kept at bay by similar armored personnel, who formed a line on both sides of the cars that led all the way to a big, solitary building in the midst of the tall buildings around it. Most of the people being kept at bay were holding signs which had various messages written in alien scripts. She also noticed that most of the signs were not in a uniform script, with some written in straight lines while some were written with curving, intersecting lines. Amongst the crowd of people and anger, she also noticed that some were in the middle of grieving, holding candles and pictures of people as they looked down in silence.

Were those people... killed? Or if Japan really did transfer worlds, were those people... left behind in their old world?

Shuddering as she thought of Qua-Toyne being whisked away to another world, she crossed her arms to try to contain her perceived chills. Before long, they were now stopped at the entrance to the big building, which Kuribayashi pointed out to be the Diet building, the place where Japan's government officials convened.

After being led by men in suits through the lavish halls of the building that encapsulated Japan's governing body, Llanfair and the Qua-Toyne delegation emerged onto a big hall with seats and tables arranged in a semi-circular fashion around a podium. As soon as they moved past the doors, they were beset by curious, interested stares from what they assumed to be Japanese government officials, as well as flashes of light coming from other people holding black, compact boxes, which they ignored due to Kuribayashi warning them in advance of said boxes. They were led to the podium by the same suited men where they were accompanied by Kado, who stood some distance away from them. As she aligned herself with the podium, she noticed a black, plant-like branch extending from the podium towards her face, which she recognized as a 'microphone,' a device amplifying the volume of one's voice, as Kuribayashi put it. Now facing the stares coming from the tired eyes of Japanese lawmakers, she steeled her already steely expression as she was given the signal by Kado to start.

"Good mo-"

Revolting from the high-pitched sound that assaulted her ears as she spoke, she paused to regain her composure before continuing.

"Good morning to you all. Allow me to thank you for your hospitality in hosting me and my countrymen on our first visit to your country. My name is Llanfair, Princess Sovereign of the Principality of Qua-Toyne."

As she bowed, the Japanese lawmakers hushed amongst themselves. Standing before their eyes was definitive proof that they were no longer on Earth. On top of not understanding a single word she said, they noticed her and the rest of the delegation possessed uncannily long ears.

"Elves? Are you fucking serious?"

"I feel stupid for attending this cosplay con of a session..."

"Is Prime Minister Takamori pulling a prank on us? This isn't fucking funny."

"I agree with you but her language... I've never heard of it before..."

Moments later, they heard a more familiar language. Kado, who was on a different podium, began speaking, translating Llanfair's introduction. The Japanese lawmakers, however, were now even more unimpressed, thinking that Kado is cosplaying as a Sengoku-era Japanese person. Seeing the doubts and disbelief on the faces of the Japanese lawmakers, Llanfair remembered Kuribayashi telling her and the other delegates that magic does not exist in Japan. While it did make her think about how Japan was able to achieve such technological superiority without magic, she sidelined the thought as she concluded that Japan itself was in the same position as them: they didn't believe that they'd been transferred. After hearing from Kado that the Japanese lawmakers were expressing their doubts at Llanfair's 'performance,' a nerve popped in her head.

They think I'm some sort of actress? How dare they disrespect me!

Storming back to the podium, Llanfair looked at her other delegates, who looked back at her with determination. Turning towards the Japanese officials, they stood as Kado began to spoke.

"May I ask everyone to be silent. Her Highness, Princess Llanfair, and the rest of the delegates are about to present to you their nation."

Having gotten the attention of some of the officials, Kado turned to Llanfair who now proceeded with their presentation. Chanting a near-gibberish spell in a fast manner, she extended her arms up front. Moments later, a funnel of wind slowly manifested at the end of her now joined hands, astonishing the Japanese lawmakers who were seeing it happen. Unbeknownst to her, the session was being televised all throughout Japan, broadcasting her wind magic performance to stupefied Japanese people watching their TVs or on big advertising screens in the cities. As the wind funnel grew bigger and bigger, the other delegates chimed in with their water magic, blasting the wind funnel with jets of water. As soon as the water jets ceased, Llanfair parted her hands and chanted the last parts of her spell, sending the wind funnel forward towards the Japanese lawmakers. Not intending to harm them, Llanfair had the funnel collapse into weak, cold winds, freezing the particles of water within the funnel and sending snow-like particles towards the confused and startled officials. Still reeling from the unbelievable, fantastical phenomenon that occurred to them, they noticed subtle piles of snow having formed on their desks and clothes, further bewildering them. Upon closer inspection, they realized that the snow was real, leading them to look back at Llanfair with baffled yet serious eyes. Llanfair, meanwhile, stood to face them with the same, unrelenting expression, forcing some lawmakers who made eye contact with her to turn away. Readjusting the blasted microphone back to her, she began to speak once more.

"That was part of our show of gratitude for your hospitality in hosting us but let that also serve as your welcome to this new world, Asherah!"

As Kado translated Llanfair's statement, the Japanese lawmakers erupted into a frenzy.

"Was that really magic?! Is that woman actually an elven princess?!"

"My... My assets in Switzerland... Gone..."

"Shit... Shit! So we're really in trouble?! Our economy is actually going to collapse?!"

As woes mounted up, Kado, who had been listening, informed Llanfair, who now saw an opportunity. Seeing that the Japanese have been shaken from their denial, she thought that it was about time to move past her own denials for the sake of her people's survival. She needed to act now if she wanted Qua-Toyne to avoid the terrible fate that marched towards them. Asking Kado to get their attention once more, Llanfair spoke up with conviction.

"I wanted to let you know, if you still don't yet, that my nation, Qua-Toyne, is willing to engage in fair, profitable trade with your country, with us exporting to you valuable foodstuff while you satisfy our demands for high quality Japanese products!"

Stopping to probe the Japanese reaction after Kado translated her statement, she saw some officials sigh in relief while others seem to be thanking the gods. Riding on favorable reception and on the emotions of the Japanese lawmakers, she emboldened herself with her next statement.

"However, Qua-Toyne faces a danger that threatens to exterminate her farmers and pillage her farmlands. A tyrant to the west has taken up arms against all non-humans, which comprise the majority of Qua-Toyne, and vowing to purge every single individual from the face of Asherah."

Hearing the statement being translated, the Japanese lawmakers looked on in horror as they shuddered at the thought of losing their newfound trade partner. With the emotions of the Japanese now firmly within her grasp, she pushed forth once more.

"Long ago, the Sun God, Shamash, sent down her emissaries in divine flying ships of iron that conjured extremely potent explosive magic. They had saved us and humanity from the jaws of extinction, allowing us to thrive and rebuild. Seeing your ships, I could only feel hope from your emergence. That's because the banner that the emissaries of the Sun God flew was this."

With all eyes on her after Kado translated her speech, she took out a wrapped package from a small sack that she brought. Unwrapping it, she produced a worn cloth stained with age and burn marks. As she unfurled it for all to see, the Japanese lawmakers were all taken aback. Some were praying to the gods. Some were repeatedly screaming "Fake!" as they pointed at the unfurled cloth. Some stayed in silence as they processed the shock. As the banner fluttered gently in the air, the occasional light that directly hit the bright red circle on the center reflected back, making it appear as if the banner was shining, complementing the 16 bright red rays that radiate from the center. It was a tattered, visibly-aged flag of the old Imperial Japanese Army.

Asking Kado to once again get their attention, Llanfair spoke up.

"Seeing your reaction, I am now convinced that the emissaries did indeed come from your country. Your emergence at this time and in this place in Asherah is by no means a coincidence. Please, help us. Rid us of the threat that endangers our very existence. If not for us, then for preventing the economic setbacks you will face as Louria ravages our fertile lands."

Faced with a cry for help and a grim warning from the elven princess, the Japanese lawmakers, with varying ideas on how to resolve the new looming crisis, began to argue amongst themselves.
