I came down here to Rapture to escape from the harsh reality of the surface world to start a new life. I've lived through many tough moments of my life on the surface living through the Great Depression of American with my family and then witnessing the start of the Second World War. I've lived through and survived many tough moments of my life, but the toughest one that I couldn't get over and move on from was James disappearance. It so happened so quick too one moment we're living and thinking about starting a family together then the next he's gone and know where to be found. I asked the people around Pauper's Drop if anyone had seen or heard where James had gone to or was spotted at, but all they did was look away scared or just walked on by without a care in the world. Some of the people even whispered to me, warning me, and saying stuff like, "Quiet, do you want to be next one to go." or "You'll be taken away too if you don't keep your mouth shut." That's when I knew the truth, I didn't want it to be real but it was unfortunately too late for that. Anyone or anybody who spoke out against Ryan and his ideal world of Rapture was taken away, killed, or put into prison somewhere in Rapture to be dealt with later or questioned. I never asked James of what he thought of Ryan before he disappeared from my life, but now I know though and Ryan had taken away the only thing I ever loved and now I've stopped singing my songs at The Limbo Room in fear that I may too be taken away just like James was. I don't know what to do James; I really don't know what to do now.
