 Author has written 21 stories for Ninja Turtles, Warriors, Young Justice, Teen Titans, Yuri!!! on Ice, and Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. Follow my dog on Instagram (@chipper_little_service_fox)! Chip is a Multi-Purpose Service Dog for anxiety, panic disorder, depression, PTSD, and EDS. He has been in training since January of 2020, and as of May 2021 has completed his Public Access training and begun learning advanced task work. Some of his current tasks include dissociation interruption, stim/self h*rm interruption, grounding, light pressure therapy, crowd control, "guarding", tactile stimulation, panic disruption, alerting to panic attacks/medical episodes, and more. Behind every Service Dog is a story. Each of those stories is filled with pain and struggle. Each dog has a purpose, and many of them save lives every day. Each and every handler is disabled, each and every dog goes through thousands of hours of training to be able to help us live a normal life. If you see a Service Dog in public, remember- Respect The Vest! Do not touch, stare at, take pictures of, make kissy noises at, or otherwise attempt to distract a Service Dog. Doing so could cost someone their life- literally! Just a moment of distraction can be enough to miss a life-saving alert or cue a stress-induced medical episode in the dog's handler. Not to mention it's against the law! Remember also that ESAs and Therapy Dogs are not Service Animals and do not have the same rights. If your dog is an ESA, leave them home! They are not allowed where Service Dogs are, and bringing them with you is dangerous for me, my dog, you, and your dog as well.
