Episode 5: Hearts Meet
A week has passed as Katt is within the Great Fox's hanger to be working on her new modified Light Arwing called Cat's Tail. Slippy is looking through a datapad to check the structure of her new fighter. "Perfect, me and dad managed to help you build this little beauty," Slippy said as Katt's new fighter is more powerful than Fay and Miyu Light Arwings but Katt's ship can't transform due to all the modifications.
"I got the twin laser cannons in this big girl along with super-fast charged shots like the other Light Arwings as well as a missile launcher. It's stacked with firepower along with raw speed and agility," Katt said as she feels proud of her new fighter which is a big improvement on her last fighter The Cat's Paw.
"Indeed, it's very impressive," Slippy said to look up at the ceiling to see an Armored Arwing sitting up there waiting for its proper pilot to use it.
Elsewhere Krystal and Fox are having a date at Central Park in Corneria City. He waits for his girlfriend to arrive to see Krystal coming out with Fox looking dumbstruck. "Just getting some lunch. The cafes make the tastiest sandwiches, the BLTs here are the best. I got some to take back at the Great Fox," he said.
"Sounds good, enjoy those," Fox said.
"I will. See you guys later," Falco said to go away.
"Falco seems very attached to sandwiches," Krystal said.
"Long corny story behind that. 'A Krystal Sandwich'," Fox said sounding like Falco making Krystal laugh at his lame joke.
"Krystal Sandwich huh. I sound pretty good," she said.
"You sure do," he responds as their lunches come in with Krystal having a toasted chicken panini with Fox getting a meatball sub with a basket of garlic bread on the side.
"Enjoy your meal," the waitress said to put down their drinks as well to leave them be.
Krystal takes a bite of her sandwich as her taste buds went wild. "Oh my, it's like a beach party is taking place in my mouth," she said with a smile.
"Good huh?" he asked.
"Yes, delicious," she said.
"This shop always has good grub," Fox said.
"Indeed, it does," Krystal feeling sad about what happened with Katt's crew and that artifact. "Gee, I feel sorry about Katt and her crew. My past is getting people killed," Krystal said.
"I know but it's not your fault. The pirates were the ones who killed them not you," Fox said.
"Your right, I shouldn't think like that. On the bright side, we got a new member and she is quite the pilot," Krystal said.
"She is, she managed aid us quite a bit in the Lylat Wars over 10 years ago," Fox said.
"I see, she will be very helpful," Krystal said as they finished their meals. "Come on, let's see the beach," Krystal said as they reach the beach with many people enjoying themselves like swimming, building sandcastles, and getting a tan. They see a big view of the ocean with it being crystal blue shining against the sun.
"That is a view," Fox said.
"It sure is," Krystal said.
"But I have a better view right in front of me," Fox said as Krystal giggled.
"You know how to make a girl special," Krystal said as they take in the sights.
"Man, the sights here are great. Best beaches on the planet," he said.
"Too bad our beach vacation got cut short," Krystal said as she put her hands on her hips. "I have gotten the cutest bikini I bet you love to see me in," she said to cock her hip to the side catching her boyfriend's attention.

Elsewhere within the Great Fox inside the lounge. Slippy, Falco, Miyu, and Fox are playing a multiplayer shooter on the holonet. They are working as a team to take out the objectives while the enemy teams are guarding them. Peppy comes into the room to see the four pilots playing a video game.
"Well, guys we got ourselves a new job on Fortuna. We need to stay focused while you guys are joking around," Peppy said as the four are focused on their game. "This will be

"It's us protecting a research station from pirate attacks. They were researching old ruins which could hold some dangerous tech inside. I think you should pay attention so we don't get killed out there," Peppy said.
"Peppy, no one is going to die. We are way past that," Fox said.
"I know right, it's just a bunch of pirates," Miyu said.
"Yeah, it's just a security detail. What could go wrong," Falco said dismissing this.
"Just stay sharp, I have a bad feeling about these turns of events happening," Peppy said.
"Yeah but nothing wrong with slacking off for a bit. Nothing crazy is happening despite the weirdness of Krystal's past coming out of nowhere," Slippy said as the four continue their gaming session with Peppy going back to the bridge of the Great Fox.
Back with Krystal within her bed having a pleasant dream of her and Fox over 2 years ago when he first asked her to join Star Fox. It was the happiest memory they has.

In the hallway, Krystal is brought on board to thank Fox for saving her from Sauria. "I am very grateful for your help," she said as she noticed him being very nervous around her.
"It's no deal, I can't let you stay captured there," Fox said as she felt his eyes on her body.
"He seems to like my outfit, interesting," Krystal said as she has a flirty smirk making her hero more nervous. "Thanks again and am I distracting you?" she asked.

"Right, good for you to be on the team," Fox said.
"Thank you and would you give me a personal tour of the ship," she said as she takes his hand holding it tightly.
"Sure, right this way," Fox said as they go down the hallways. Krystal's heart leaps for happiness as her new life begins.

Krystal slowly opens her eyes to embrace that memory that changed her life forever. "I lost everything and then you came into my world. Give me a fresh start and I am forever grateful for you.
