February 1943

The Soviets are still holding their own against the Germans. But casualties are mounting on both sides. Morale on the Soviet side is decimated but still strong. Peace talks are rumored between both armies to end the bloody fighting. Hitler, though he loathed communism and Bolsheviks with his heart, needed a buffer state between him and his frenemy, Japan. Probably that's why he pulled General Esdeath out of the eastern front post-Stalingrad, to not only overshadow him and his generals but to not go crazy with the massacres. Hitler learned about that with more reports that concerned her and her men more than the worst of SS battalions.

March 1943

The royal princesses of the British Empire, Elizabeth, and Margret, force to leave for Canada by their father, King George VI. They were sobbing but he assured them. That it will be alright, and that with their survival, and the survival of Princess Elizabeth. The survival of the British Empire would be ensured. But since King George VI is King of England and the British Empire, he swore an oath to protect his people with his life and to serve God and country to the very end.

April 5, 1943

Prime Minister Winston Churchill gives a passionate speech to the House of Parliament. He is certain that the people of Britain will defend their home island and not crumble under Nazi oppression. With the same fighting spirit, they have during the Blitz.

April 10, 1943

The Houses of Lords and Commons both unilaterally agreed to move from London to Manchester. Both Houses vote to keep the city of London well-defended against any Nazi attack.

April 15, 1943

Calais, France

"Conditions are favorable for an invasion today." Thought the General Esdeath.

Though the Kriegsmarine is weak in number, with the help of General Esdeath, Operation Sealion could be successful. General Esdeath is happy with the plan, but one part that she isn't happy about the plan was stopping at the city of Gloucester. But everything south of the city, including London, was fair game to her. Now that she liked. She hopes that Britain may be a strong opponent in contrast to those who fought in Stalingrad.

The Grand Admiral who was in place of the Kriegsmarine for Operation Sealion, Admiral Donitz, approached the general.

"General Esdeath. Operation Sealion is a go. At 0500 hours. Your men and the XVI Army would make their attack on Dover and all of Southeast England. Hitler has ordered you to make towards London. Today would be the day that this "British Fighting Spirit" would be broken."

"So will it be." Said General Esdeath.

April 16, 1943

Dover, UK

0459

Spring turned into winter in the space of one day. The British soldiers defending the cliffs of Dover were undeterred. As they were prepared for this fight. But an unease plagues their ranks. They heard about the ice general from their Soviet allies but are unsure if its real or not.

Minutes of waiting felt like months of worry. Then a cry was let out. "BLOODY HELL. LOOK OUT!" An officer yells. As a projectile of was launched at the outpost looking over Dover. A private manage to dodge the projectiles but instead of metal, they were ice. His worries just became true. The ice general had arrived. Then the sound of artillery shells began to fall upon their positions. "Where is the Royal Navy when you need them." The private thought to himself.

An officer got up and gave an order to all the soldiers. "Do not fear, men. For we are British. These are our lands, our soil, our sky, our waters, and our shores. Fire upon the Jerrys and make sure none get to even step foot on British lands. For God, and for King and Country!"

0500

Nazi landing craft begin their assault on the British aisle. The Ice General has arrived on the British shore. Destroying any fortifications.

0510

RAF planes scramble to get in the air to aid the British Soldiers and sink any German ships.

0900

After 4 hours of bloody and brutal fighting. The British garrison that guarded Dover surrendered to the Nazis and to General Esdeath. She was proud of the fight they put on. Even proving to her their fighting spirits. Though she wants to "toy" with these men, she didn't allow that thought to manifest fully. Possibly she gets to "toy" with those who surrendered after the war.

April 17, 1943

London, UK. 0300

The battle for London was fierce. Fiercer than the invasion of the Normans in 1066, or the Roman invasion of the British Isles in the first century. British soldiers and whatever militias were formed fought with whatever they could to protect the island home. Hoping that they can draw this invasion out and drive back the Germans from British shores.

0500

The defenses are collapsing. British soldiers, militias, and partisans fell under the frozen Nazi boot. London has been hit by several Luftwaffe attacks and bombs. Many buildings fell, London's cultural landmarks in ruins.

April 17, 1943

London, UK

"London Bridge is falling down, falling down, falling down. London Bridge is falling down, My fair lady." General Esdeath hummed this song as she strolled down through the House of Parliament. She is surprised by the fierce tenacity of the people of London. But was disappointed with how quickly the battle ended.

April 24, 1943

London, UK

01000

The Nazi government completed its main objectives and have reached Gloucester
A captain from her Jager Battalion approaches the General with a microphone. General Esdeath has prepared a speech for the people of England and the United Kingdom.

*Radio Static*

"Attention people of London and of the United Kingdom of England, Wales, Scotland, and Ireland. London has fallen, your king dead, parliament destroyed, and your "God" has abandoned you to the hands of me, General Esdeath of the Third Reich. All I ask for is this. Surrender and lay down your arms and submit to the Fuhrer. Those who refuse to submit and wishes to fight will be executed. That is all I have to say to you." General Esdeath walked through Buckingham Palace and sat on the throne meant for the King of the UK. She sighed. "Why do such good men always have to die." She stated in the empty and bloody throne room with the corpse of the now-dead King George VI laying in the same throne room, the symbol of Britain, the very nation he swore that he will with his life, dead and behendead alongside his guards.

April 25, 1943

News reports pour in.

"Extra! Extra! Read all about it. The UK has Fallen!"

"London Bridge has Fallen?"

"Parliament given an Ultimatum. The fate of the UK undecided!"

April 27, 1943

Parliament, now located in Manchester is given an ultimatum by the Nazis. Surrender or the whole island of Britain is destroyed. All of Parliament stood and are debating. The majority who wanted to keep fighting are now ardent supporters of peace, as the Ice General is literally at their doorstep with bombs, fire, and ice on a silver platter.

Prime Minister Winston Churchill and a few other MP's didn't vote in favor of the ultimatum, but the majority won out. In the House of Lords, it was almost unanimous as all of them have much to lose.

April 29, 1943

New news reports begin to pour in on the latest news.

"The UK has signed a peace treaty with the Nazi's. Western Front is now over."
"The US has made major advancements in the Pacific. Near Japan's doorstep!"

"Soviet and Nazi peace talks are underway?"

April 30, 1943

Manchester, UK

The speakers all throughout the UK begin to ring. Radios are turned on. Winston Churchill prepares his final speech of resignation as Parliament voted him out. In the span of five minutes, he gave his speech to the people of Britain, telling them to not lose spirit. For the British fighting spirit still lives on as long as one single British soul remains. This was not a typical farewell speech, but a speech to call up to arms once again when the time comes.

May 10, 1943

Moscow, Soviet Union.

It has been two years since the Germans invaded the Soviet Union along with General Esdeath. Stalin wishes to continue to fight. But his cabinet wishes not because with the loss of Stalingrad the Germans can put more pressure on Leningrad and even attempt another attack on Moscow. Stalin for once, the cold man of steel, decided to make peace with the Germans.

May 20, 1943

The Soviet Union and the Nazi Reich finally made peace. Germany now controlled significant parts of Western Russia and all of Belarus and Ukraine. Almost the same amount of territory the previous German Empire made with the previous Russian Empire. The only major cities the Soviet Union gets to keep are Leningrad and Moscow. But most of its territory including Stalingrad, west of Moscow is now Nazi territory. Stalingrad that once bore Stalin's name and was supposed to be the death of the German invaders was now renamed Hitlerstadt, as a mockery to Stalin. A move that depicts the National Socialist supplanting the Communist.

June 1944

The United States, not involved in the Western Front, made a chokehold on the Japanese Empire. The state that was the Japanese Empire crumbled, its Emperor, Emperor Hirohito, and his royal family, weren't deposed but power and influence greatly diminished. Japan pulled out of China, Korea, and any territory they've gained since they first began to expand since the 1930s.

News reports begin to draw in.

"America defeats Japan!"
"Will the States be next in the Ice General's list?"

"The Japanese Emperor stays in power but power is limited."

July 1944

Washington DC, US

The President of the US, Franklin D. Roosevelt, is in a meeting with his top Generals of the US Military.

"I am glad what we've done with the Japanese. I'm more glad that we're able to keep the imperial family safe. Which is a valuable piece in the reconstruction of the Japanese state. But I'm seriously angered. Angered by the fact that most of Europe is lost to the Nazis and this Ice General Esdeath. We are at the knife's edge. One small mistake and this country would be in serious hell." President FDR said.

"Mr. President. With all due respect. What you ask of us is highly difficult. We don't even have the resources to take on Germany after the amount we've put in supplying the Soviets and the British. The amount needed for defeating Japan and with restoration underway nonetheless. It is sapping much of what we have." Answered General MacArthur.

"I do not care. We need a way to prevent German aggression against the US. Especially with Esdeath, as she is on their side. Gentleman, come up with a plan and bring it to me or retire. This meeting is over."

August 1944

News begins to drop.
"US makes military deals with The British Crown in Canada."
"US forms and to lead an alliance with several South and Central American nations."

"Monroe Alliance is Formed between the US, Mexico, and Canada."
"Jobs for all people in the Monroe Alliance."

"The US to pass largest infrastructure plan in the history of mankind! Need workers! Build up the dream, the Monroe Dream!"
