1944 (Year of the Uprisings)
Partisan uprisings occur throughout France, Britain, Italy, Greece, the eastern occupation of Soviet lands, Poland, and the Balkans with Yugoslav Nationalist. Each one brutally suppressed by General Esdeath herself, along with the aid of their respective governance in each nation. Many of the famed leaders in history that fought against the Nazis or stood against Nazi tyranny, de Gaulle, and Tito have gone into exile in the US. Hoping that in the future, their nations will rise again.
Many more nations in South America, the Caribbean, and Central America join the new Alliance. Many governments that are in exile such as Poland, Czechoslovakia, France, Britain, Luxemburg, etc. Also, join the Monroe Alliance.
August 1944
China. After fighting being occupied in a war against the Japanese. Once more falls into civil war between the Republic of China and the People's Republic of China. Nazi Germany, after exhausting much of its resources in war and controlling its new territory and governments, can't no longer support the Republic of China in this new civil war.
September 1944
A full five years and two months passed since Esdeath first met Hitler in the forest. Much of Europe is under Nazi occupation or under Nazi puppetry. Many of the colonies the French and British on the Western Afro-Eurasian continent had are now under Nazi or Italian rule, or have. With most of North Africa, Greece, Albania, and Macedonia falling under Fascistic Italian rule. The Balkans begin to take up self rule but also received "aid" from Nazi Germany, with the Nazis implementing a puppet rule in Serbia. Hitler allows the Balkans to have their self rule.
The Middle East is under the control of the Nazi and Italian puppet rule. Much of the Soviet Union including Belarus, the Baltic states, Ukraine, Southern Russia, and the Caucus region are all under Nazi occupation.
April 1945
President FDR dies in office after a long battle against polio. Vice president Truman, succeeds FDR, becoming President of the United States and leader of the Monroe Alliance.
Truman looks into the ideas of overthrowing the Nazis and removing Esdeath. The project that he inherited, the Manhattan Project, is nearing completion, although Japan surrendered. He increased the secrecy of project Manhattan. Now with more strict secrecy as to not let the Nazis get a single clue of the project, but allows test to go underway in the Nevada desert.
June 1945
After years of disagreement. The fascist dictatorship of Argentina reluctantly joins after sanctions were threatened by the US and its neighbors, especially Brazil and Chile, looking to hurt the Argentinian economy.
July 4, 1945
*Radio Static* As millions of Americans turn on their radios or gather in crowds to listen to President Truman's speech to the nation on the US 169th birthday. Millions more from the nations that make up the Monroe Alliance also tune in. Listening to translators translating in real-time the speech.
"My fellow Americans. I stand before you as the leader of what is left of the free world. We lost our fellow brothers and sisters across the sea. To the tyranny and occupation of the Nazis. I will say this. As the leaders of democracy, liberty, and of the free world I will say this. We will never break, we will never bend the knee, we will never falter. For God, Our Lord is on our side. What many of you saw as a retreat, was in reality, regrouping, reformulating our plans. To gain knowledge of the enemy, strength over the enemy. Because as long as we the people not only believe in ourselves but also God. Or believe what is right of the government, and work hard. Then we will be strong. For time is on our side. For God is on our side. I will conclude with these words. In God We Trust!"
President Truman ends his speech. A loud roar of applause is made after his speech. People all over the American continent have heard President Truman's words and were moved by them. Having no reason to fear the Nazis for the belief that God is on the side of the free peoples that are not influenced by the Nazis.
August 1945
Berlin, Germany
"My Fuhrer, when will we begin our invasion of the American continent and of the US?" Esdeath asks. As the anti-partisan activity was beginning to lose much of its charm to the sadistic General.
"It's unwise to attack the US and their little alliance. As we don't have much of the Naval Advantage the US has. Not that I doubt your powers. But the moment you decide to attack then you will be overwhelmed by the Americans and you will lose. It's a lost cause, for now, to attack now. But nonetheless, you've done well for expanding the Fatherlands reach all throughout the continent. The Soviets are crumbling under the weight of their own failures, and you even put down several partisan uprisings. You should be proud of that, General. But for now, we're at peace, and our thousand-year Reich can begin." Hitler spoke to General Esdeath.
"As my Fuhrer commands it." Esdeath spoke. She gave Hitler the Nazi salute and left.
September 1945
Truman establishes several peace talks between the two warring factions in China. He compromises a deal between the two parties, a split of the nation. Starting at the city of Qingdao all the way to Xinjiang. With the north belonging to the People's Republic of China and their capital city, Beijing. The south goes to Republic of China and their capital city, Nanjing.
October 1945
Negotiations between the US and the Nazis have reached their conclusion.
"Today. The government of the United States, the Monroe Alliance, and the Nazis have signed a nonaggression treaty. The US is allowed to have the territories of Greenland, Iceland, Australia, and New Zealand be under American protection and its sphere of influence. So long the Germans stayed out of the western sphere of influence. And to not interfere much in Asia, especially with the reconstruction of the Japanese state."
1950
The Soviet Union currently facing major strife with mass protests calling for government reform. With millions being discontent on how the government lost the war.
In the Korean Peninsula. Though it appeared united, the Communist party in Pyongyang begins to make plans for war. By June war breaks out once more. With the North Koreans, under the leadership of Kim Il-Sung, attacked the South Koreans. But their strength is limited, being supported by both Soviet Union and China. though they make surprising advancements against the South Koreans. The US, seeing it needs to respond. Makes a move on the South Koreans.
September 1951
Esdeath noticed her appearance. She didn't age very much like her human counterparts. Was it because of the Imperial Arms that extended her life and kept up her appearance? She didn't think much of it. But she did feel a bit bored. Especially with being at peace and all of the fun happening in Asia.
Esdeath made her way down to the prison meant only for those to be executed. But in reality, it was her playpen. With every clicking sound of her boot, many prisoners made their way to the farthest part of the wall. The prison she's in is meant for the leaders of partisan groups, spies, or others who were against the Nazi government. Prisoners were groaning in pain hoping for death to finally release them from this mortal world. Many fell silent as to when they heard her footsteps, they knew that the ice devil is looking for a toy. She opened a door to a cell with no more than 10 prisoners. She grabbed a man that was farthest from the group.
"Tell me, spy, where are you from?" The man responded with silence. "Oh, nice. A valiant one. Let's see how long you can last." She dragged the man out of the cell and closed the door. She brought the man to a torture room, she called up for a guard to bring her favorite "tools". "Now, I made these for people like you. When I'm done, I want to know everything that you have. Now be good and stay still. Just then maybe you get your freedom." She ripped off the man's shirt and noticed the tattoo of the cross on his right shoulder and words on his left shoulder. "God, I trust. God save France." Written in French. She merely laughed at this site. She looked at the man and responded in French. "Funny that you have that. Because in this world. I am God. And you won't be having mercy." The hall begins to fill up with screams. The man called to die but wasn't having what he wanted. She merely ignored his screams as she tortured him and soon mentally breaking him.
1953
Stalin passes away from a stroke in March. His death leads to the Second Russian Civil War three months later between the communist party members. The Reformers led by Nikita Kruschev and several other members including the Red Army vs. The Stalinists, led by Lavrenti Baria, Malenkov, and the NKVD.
The Korean war, comes to an end. With Korea ending up as China is. Split in the middle at the 38th Parrelel.
1954
The Nazis takes initiative and began to make moves on the fallen Soviet Union. Fighting "for" the Reformist side.
1956
The Second Russian Civil War ends. A total of 3,000,000 dead.
Nikita Kruschez is in charge but is a puppet to the Nazi government. He is forced to make major concessions towards the Nazi government. Essentially being a leader in name only.
1957
The Nazis expand their reach to the Ural Mountains. They set up more puppet governments as far as Kyrgyzstan and Magadan. The Nazi government ultimately completed their plan, Lebensraum, and now they'll implement their ultimate plan. The Final Solution.
1959
The territories of Hawaii and Alaska become states.
