Author's note:
Welcome back. For chapters with battles and missions will be split up between one to four chapters.
Enjoy the next couple of chapters of battle and tension.
I don't know how the Kriegsmarine named the first two to three letters of their ships e.g. USS Maine, HMS HOOD, etc. So I'm going to use the term KM short for Kriegsmarine.
Enjoy this chapter.
M for language, gore, and the topic of self-death.
March 25, 1963
Greenland falls quickly. With little to no presence of the US Army and Monroe Alliance, the US territory of Greenland falls. But still many parts of the whole American seaboard covering Eastern US and Canada have rushed defensive positions. Many islands and coastlines receiving top priority over others because of their importance.

Northern Atlantic
KM. Deutschland
General Esdeath is enjoying the breeze of the ocean. With the salty air blowing her blue hair back. Probably Wave is right about the salty breeze of the ocean. She turns around and looks around admiring the cruiser she and Tatsumi are on. She walks towards the end of the bow and leans on the railing. Looks over to her right and sees cruisers carrying transport ships for the invasion. Looks over to her right and sees cruisers, and dreadnoughts, and destroyers. All partially under her command. "Who would have thought plan Z wouldn't be done. Thank you, USSR and Britain. Your sacrifices have benefited greatly the Fatherland." Esdeath speaks to herself. She looks above and observes and listens to the Luftwaffe flying overhead with their Messerschmitt Me 262 flying by. Though she advised the German military high command to modernize some of their equipment. They believed that they're alright with their equipment. But she didn't care nonetheless. As long as there is war, then she is content.
The admiral in charge of escorting her and her forces approaches her, followed by four Kriegsmarine sailors.
"General Esdeath." The admiral calls for her. She looks at him. "What is it, admiral?" The general replied. "You are needed at the bridge." The admiral replied. She let out a small sigh, hoping to enjoy a bit more of the salty Atlantic breeze. "Fine. Let's go." The six walk back to the bridge.
The general walks into the bridge and takes a look at the map of the northern US continent, starting from southern Panama and ending at North East Canada and West Greenland, extending towards western Europe. With many a few notations of prime landing spots. Primarily being major coastal cities and the vital, Panama Canal.
"General Esdeath. The plan for the fleet and invasion forces would split. Your forces would be sent to northern Canada, landing at Nova Scotia. As it is expected to have fewer troops, making it easier to flank the Canadian, American, and Monroe Alliance forces. The rest of the fleet would be with me, heading for the Eastern US seaboard. Taking the United States out as quickly as possible. All other invasion fleets already got their orders to invade other vital parts such as the Panama Canal, the Caribbean islands, and parts of the Eastern US." The admiral explained to Esdeath.
"Is there anything else I should know about?" The admiral struggled to get the words out.
"Yes…. The boy, Tatsumi. He stays with us and he will provide spearhead assault on the Eastern US seaboard, providing support on the attack on New York." He looked at the general. "Will this be a problem, general?" The admiral concluded his plan.
The men on the bridge began to feel an intense strain. The windows and glasses began to fog up all around. It was the cold chill coming from general Esdeath. She took in the words of the admiral and thought about them. She doesn't look very pleased about a sudden change of plans.
"Was this plan. Recommended by you admiral or do you demand this?" Her hat hid her face. Sensing the current aura, the admiral, knowing full well on what she says next, maybe his last words. He began to tell the general.
"It was a last-minute order change from the higher-ups. It was ordered and approved so by the Fuhrer himself." The admiral gave the Nazi salute to Esdeath. She raised her head, glaring at the current turn of events. She glared at the admiral with the cold blue eyes of death. She saluted back.
"Alright then. I'll let you have him. But the second you lose him. Then you're going to wish that you have never spoken to me. You got that!" Esdeath reached into her breast pocket and placed Tatsumi's key on the table. "Sieg Heil. Good luck on your invasion, admiral." Esdeath spoke. As she turned around and left the bridge. As she left. Everyone, except Tatsumi, sighed relief. "Bitte, Gott mit uns sien." (Please, God be with us.)The admiral thought in his head.

KM. Kaiser
(H-Class Battleship)
Esdeath gives a final hug and kiss to Tatsumi. As another heavy cruiser, KM. Kaiser docked next to KM. Deutschland. Tatsumi is led by the same admiral that spoke with Esdeath, just the day prior. In the next few hours, the two fleets began to separate, losing each other in the distance Esdeath heading to northern Canada and Tatsumi to New York.
The admiral stands alone at the bow and the captain of the ship asks. "Admiral. Are you sure this is a wise decision? To have the boy here, separated from her?" The captain asks nervously.
"I believe so. The boy needs freedom of any sort. Even if that includes death. Enough with the chit-chat, full speed ahead to New York." The admiral commands.
March 29, 1963
The Americans are preparing hastily on the defense of the US mainland and of the Eastern US seaboard. Shoring up defense on major cities such as New York, Boston, Miami, Washington D.C., and several other cities, all prime targets for an invasion. Having only mere weeks to prepare for the invasion. Millions of civilians fled the coastal cities. Those who've stayed formed militias to aid their soldiers and protect their homes. Staying more inland away from the beachheads to catch any German soldiers that get their way in the city.
The US also lend military personnel and aid to nations of the Monroe Alliance. As many nations facing the Atlantic Ocean are fearing the worse is about to arrive at their doorstep. Especially in the Caribbean.
March 30, 1963
The first gunshots have rung out. Several Caribbean islands have fallen within hours. The islands of Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, and Cuba are putting up a steady fight. Repelling an invasion sent by the Nazis Kriegsmarine and their allies. Most notable being Spain, hoping to recapture their "lost islands" of Cuba, Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico. But in need of more support. The US Navy, Mexican navy, and several other national navies have sent ships off the Mexican Gulf to aid the Caribbean islands to liberate them from Nazi occupation.
Guardsmen, Army Soldiers, Marines, and Militias have prepared the whole coastline and fifty miles inland of the New Jersey and New York area.
Churches offer services to the defenders as a way to aid spiritual support to their defenders.

New York, New York

Every soldier feared the worst. Nazi warships appeared over the horizon. They're only a few miles from firing range. Their main objective is to soften up the defenses for the men of Esdeath's battalion and several other German units and to take the port city of New York, holing up positions south of Brooklyn. Many soldiers began to pray to God for strength and courage or asking for the forgiveness of sins if they should ever fall in battle. Though their defenses are quickly built up. They pray that when they entered, that they enter through chokepoints to destroy all of their ships.

*Bang, Bang* The cannons of the cruisers of the Kriegsmarine began to sing. Landing on targets throughout the beach and city. Many soldiers who are at the beach hid their heads down in trenches or if lucky enough, bunkers. The artillery shells of the Kriegsmarine were only the beginning.
0700
After thirty long minutes of bombardment, the singing had stopped. Many defense fortifications were destroyed, several lost their lives, but many yet still stand. Every soldier knew, time is up. The time to get to their defenses is now.
0701
The first of the German landing craft land near and the first of the troops have landed. They charge but they weren't met by gunfire. They began to march in closer. 10 yards, 5 yards. Then machinegun fire began to roar. Hundreds of Germans that wandered onto the beach were immediately cut down by rifle and machine gunfire. If there was anything that the Americans learned from their war against Japan 20 years ago, is to fire when the enemy least expects it, and if anything they've learned from the Revolutionary war, is to fire when you see the whites of their eyes.
0715
The first wave was completely decimated. The second wave was sent in after the first.
Artillery placements and tank placements that surround the Brooklyn and Staten Island area and shoreline began to sing as well. Finding their marks on German landing craft. Some landed on the German cruisers. German aircraft were also sent in to help the German landings and to soften up the defense.
KM. Kaiser
"Admiral. He's here as you requested." The captain replied. The admiral turned around. He looked at the young boy. The boy had the eyes of a dead man, a man whose very soul was tortured. "Tatsumi. You are to join the third wave and destroy those defenses. Make way for our men to take the city. Is that understood?" Commanded the admiral. Tatsumi nodded in reply. "Good now go." The admiral commanded. Tatsumi removed his sword and shouted Incursio to activate his suit of armor.
Across the bay. A character observes from the distance. "Yup. That's our boy. You five know what to do next." The captain commanded as he looked over the five hooded figures. "Yes, sir." The five responded.
The admiral and the captain on the KM. Kaiser witnessed his transformation. Both were mesmerized as they get to see the legendary Tatsumi transform in front of their eyes, it was a privilege not many get to see. Tatsumi, now Incursio, saw a Me 262 pass by for a strafing run. He leaped up high in the air and grabbed hold of it. The pilot panicked at the sudden appearance of Tatsumi but kept on flying towards the bay. Tatsumi leaped out of the plane and landed on the sand.
He equips his spear and makes a run towards the defenses. Machine guns began to take aim and fire at Tatsumi. His armor bounces every single bullet shot at him. He reaches the first machine gun nest and strikes the bunker, killing its two mg crews. He steps out and moves forward inland. In about five yards Tatsumi was struck by a bolt of light, it struck him hard. It wasn't the usual bullet as it would have made a ping sound. Just as Tatsumi got up he heard a noise. He didn't hear what it was because his ears were ringing from that strike. He looked up and saw a figure coming. The figure used both feet to hit him towards the ground. Causing sand, blood, and debris to fly up into the air.
"Looks like help has arrived boys." A US soldier shouted. This brought morale to the defending the port city.
Tatsumi got up and as the dust settled. He wiped his mask to remove the sand from his eyes. He then saw it. A blue character that looks eerily similar to him, armor and everything.
"Hey, Tatsumi. Remember me?" The blue figure asks. Tatsumi dazed a bit. Replied, "No." He answered back. "Then I'll make you remember me." Answered back them blue figure. The two begin to duel. As in the background, the third wave of Germans began to arrive. This time several planes carrying German paratroopers fall to attack the city of Manhattan and Brooklyn.
Tatsumi and the blue figure trade blows against each other, with Tatsumi being more on the defense. Tatsumi lets his guard down for a mere moment. Enough time for the blue figure to grab a hold of him. Tatsumi is then thrown by the blue figure two hundred yards north to the city, allowing the defenses to fire upon the Germans once again without fear of being slain by the dragon knight.
As Tatsumi got up he began to move. But felt extreme resistance as he couldn't move. He was dropped kicked once again by the blue figure.
"This is what I've been waiting for, for a long time." The blue figure said. Tatsumi, with all of his strength left, released himself from what is holding him back.
"Metal strings?" Tatsumi asked himself. He has a sense of familiarity but doesn't know where? Out of nowhere, Tatsumi was struck again by a more powerful bolt of light that knocks him down to his knees.
"Stay down dammit!" A light voice shouted out. He looked behind him to find where the voice came from.
"You are making this harder for us you know." Another voice calls out. This time it was closer, he moved his arms in the air in some sort of pattern. This caused Tatsumi's arms to get caught again. Tatsumi was highly exhausted from the fight.
He looked up and saw the blue figure again. "Go ahead. End my life. Let me die along with my men." Tatsumi stated, hoping his life would end.
"Not today, never again." The blue figure punched Tatsumi hard enough where he would be unconscious but not dead or in a coma. Tatsumi reverted to his original human form with his sword in his grasp. The blue figure returned to its original form as well. His features are that of a human. Wearing his "everyday" attire with an olive-green trench coat that has the USNH patch on the right sleeve under the US Flag.
"Ok, we need to get him out of here before the enemy breaks-" as he stated one last wave of naval cannons fired upon the defenses, preparing for one last wave of the onslaught.
"Green goblin. I need you to secure him and keep him and his sword separated. Can you do that?" The blue figure commanded.
"I can. Also for the last time, I do not wish to be called "Green Goblin", John Paul Jones." Green Goblin answered.
"Doesn't matter. Regroup with Pink Salmon and head back to base. Tell them that the Dragon Knight is caught." John Paul Jones giving his final orders to the green goblin. Green goblin does as commanded. John Paul Jones transforms back to his armor and heads back to the fighting. Running towards the fight aiding the soldiers fighting.
0740
US Airforce scrambles its planes and arrives at the NY shoreline. They begin to attack and strafing the Kriegsmarine ships. Getting into ariel dogfights against the Luftwaffe.
The Nazis managed to break through the first defense lines. Shooting any US soldier they see that is unfortunate enough to not get out on time.
"Schneller, manner. Totten alle die Amerikaner Soldaten. Liebe lange die Esdeath Battalion, und die Dritte Reich!" (Faster men. Kill all the American soldiers. Long live theEsdeath Battalion, and the Third Reich!) A German officer of Esdeath's Battalion shouts. Before finishing his words, he was cut down immediately by an unknown assailant. A few soldiers of the Esdeath battalion turned around and saw their captain get cut down.
"HERR HAPUTMAN. NEIN." (CAPTAIN NO)
"Sie warden dafür bezhalen!" (You will pay for this)
"Sterben Sie Kleiner shceisse!" (Die you small piece of shit)
A few Nazi soldiers shouted before they were cut down as well. One stood standing but felt an extreme illness and a sense of doom. He collapsed and died immediately.
"You're finished." The character said. She wore her normal attire, but a mixture of black and red, with the same coat as with John Paul Jones and Green Goblin.
"Are you down here Devil?" A female voice called out.
"Yes, I'm down here. Is everything taken care of up there?" Devil asks.
"Yup. If you look outside, they're starting to give up and surrender. Shame, I wanted to collect more of them."
"Now is not the time for that, Dead Riser. We've got to regroup with the rest of the squad." Devil ordered Dead Riser. Dead Riser also wore the same trench coat as the rest of her team.
"Got it." Dead Riser replied. Dead Riser sat on top of the pile of enemy corpses that were unfortunate enough to get in her way. She hummed a tune as she saw the Germans retreat from the Bay.
"Herr Admiral." The captain of the KM. Kaiser and another officer called out. "Ja?" the admiral replied. "It was a disaster. All three waves failed. Only a small number of landing craft are returning with the survivors and wounded." The officer informed the admiral.
"I see. Call for a full-scale retreat. We're leaving the bay and will be regrouping with the rest of the Kriegsmarine fleet. Any that stays on the beach will be seen as a deserter or KIA." The admiral commanded, "if there are any left." The admiral thought to himself. "But what about Tatsumi?" The captain replied in a worrying tone. "He has done his duty. But knowing her philosophy. Let's just say he was weak." The admiral replies to the captain, easing his nerves. "If anything, I'll be in my quarters." The admiral told the captain and officer.
"Ja." The two reply back.
"I've done my part. Now please keep your end of the deal." The admiral thought to himself as he entered his office. He takes out two items. On his left hand is his photo of his wife and three children. "Please be safe, and I'm sorry for what I'm about to do." On his right is a brass vile. The admiral opened it up, "Heil zu ein neue und Frei Deutschland." (Hail to a new and free Germany.) He chugs the contents in the vile. Within seconds, his heart stops and the admiral slumps over. The admiral, that had so foolishly lost Tatsumi and lost the battle of New York, passed away in shame and indignity and took the easy way out instead of his punishment. At least, that is how the Nazis and Esdeath will announce his death.
After six hours of brutal and bloody fighting. Many of the last German soldiers on the shores of the US had surrendered. This battle is a victory for the US and the Monroe Alliance. The victory was on Good Friday nonetheless, as if God himself came down from heaven and blessed the US on this victory on this day. After another 3 hours, a news report came that the Nazi invasion of the US mainland had failed on the Eastern US seaboard. After another twelve hours. News reached that the Nazis and their allies surrendered in the Caribbean islands, including the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and Cuba.
