Greenland

Two more E-Boats come from the north and are in an attempt to intercept them. SFC. Johnson fires two torpedoes. One of the torpedoes passes by but the second one trailing makes contact. The Nazi E-Boat on the left is damaged and now sinking. Mine uses her imperial arms, Pumpkin, and fires at the second E-Boat. She fires a beam that destroys the boat. She's glad about the multi-kill.

After almost an hour of sailing on towards the checkpoint of Narsarsuaq, and being chased at by Nazi E-Boats. They reach the checkpoint and head towards the small beach and beach there. SF unit Alpha and Night Hunters jump out and land on the sand below off the E-Boat. Visibility was low, the Nazis within an eighty-eight-mile radius of Narsaq are on high alert. So it's suspected that the airstrip will also be on high alert.
"Alright, we make the rest on foot. The hangers aren't far. If possible, let's grab a pilot or two." Anderson orders.
"Why did we divert from the original escape plan?" Asked Tatsumi.
"Things changed. After those explosions and the alarms going off. There is a possibility that they have sent a message towards those dreadnoughts. There is a possibility that they're close and they could shoot us in the water and we'd be freezing or worse yet captured if we continued on with the E-Boats" Anderson responded.
"Best bet is to fly over back." He answered.
"Now let's move" Anderson ordered.
The two teams begin to make a run for hangers. Any Nazi guards that are stationed on the airfield are cut down or shot down. They continue to push forward towards the island.
They reach the main entrance of the airfield. Captain Anderson splits the forces again. Tasking SF unit Alpha with finding a plane large enough and send a runner out to notify him. He and Night Hunters are going to find a pilot to pilot the plane.
A Luftwaffe captain is enjoying his late-night snack at the officers' hall.
"Solches ist Leben. Mit den Nachtfarbe ist sehr schön." (Such is life. The night colors is good.) The Luftwaffe captain says. As he looks out the pristine night of Greenland.
A blade reaches towards his throat.
"Sie sind ein Pilot?" (Are you a pilot?) Akame places her blade next to his throat. Speaking in the little German she learned.
"Ja. Ich bin ein Pilot." (Yes. I am a pilot.) He responds.
"Gut. Jetzt sie werden Flugen für Uns." ( Good, now you will fly for us.) She responds.
"Uns?" (Us?) he responds. He places his fork down and gets up from his chair. Akame still has her blade trained on his neck. He slowly turns around and sees the rest of Night Hunters alongside carrying another Luftwaffe officer hostage, a second lieutenant, with Kurome's sword trained as well on his neck.
Captain Anderson comes in with Tatsumi along with another captured Luftwaffe staff, a Feldwebel. Anderson has a gun on the Feldwebel's head.
"We found ourselves a navigator." Says Tatsumi
"I assume this is all we need. We just need to wait for the runner. That way they know which plane to fly and ultimately get out of Greenland." Lubbock commented.
"Woher sind die Wachen?" (Where are the guards at?) Asked the Hauptmann.
"Tot." (Dead.) Tatsumi replies.
Someone enters the cafeteria door. It was SFC. Hernandez.
"We found ourselves a plane." He noted.
"Nobody followed you?" Anderson.
"Nope, also we found a plane that is large enough to fit about thirty people. Let's go." Ordered SFC. Hernandez
"Let's go guys." Cpt. Anderson orders.
SFC. Hernandez led the group to a large hanger. He opens the door and everyone enters the hanger. The lights are on. In the hanger awaited the rest of SF unit Alpha. And a Junkers JU 52 Troop transport variant, fitted with jet engines.
"What took you guys so long?" Asked WO1 Wilson.
"We had to find some people but we got them." Anderson commented.
"Alright everyone in the plane. Open those hangers" Anderson ordered.
The plane turns on. It makes a loud jet roaring sound. SFC. Hernandez presses the open button for the hanger to open. The plane begins to leave the hanger. SFC Hernandez gets on. An alarm goes off. This alerts everyone on the base.
"Another one!" Mine notes.
"We're fucked now." Sgt. Moore comments
Several Nazi guards begin to storm the runway. At the same time SFC. Hernandez gets onto the plane. SSG. Brown gets on to the tail gunner. Everyone else grabs a hold of the side MG-15s. The Nazis begin to open fire. In response, they fire back at the Nazis with the MG-15. Kurome uses her imperial arms to release several more Nazi puppets. Several of her dolls are weak and also outnumbered. But due to this, she is showing signs of fatigue and weakness. SFC. Parker notices this and tends to her side. He is called over to assist another member by SFC. Hill who is tending to Sgt. Moore. SSG. Brown is shot at from the sides and collapses from the tail gun seat. SFC. Parker tends to him and his critical wounds. The plane is being fired at from all directions.
"This is enough danger for me to help out. I need someone to cover me!." Mine shouted. She climbs to the tail gun and climbs on top of the seat with Pumpkin.
"Mine what are you doing. That is suicide!" Tatsumi sees her climbing up.
"I know what I'm doing. Just, watch my back." She tells Tatsumi. She begins to open fire with Pumpkin. With each shot, she fires being more powerful than the last. Destroying everything around the plane. Many of the Nazis on the ground begin to scramble. But also begin to fire at her. Tatsumi grabs an AR-15 from the floor and also opens fire on the Nazis, protecting Mine. The same could be said for many in the plane. The JU-52 begins to take off at a fast speed. Gaining velocity for take-off.
10 mph, 20 mph, 50 mph, 100 mph, 150 mph, 165 mph, 180 mph. And take off. As Mine is shooting at the Nazis blocking the path, she is grazed at her right arm by a bullet. She opens one last firing shot, exploding the area from where the bullet comes from. She retracts back down inside the plane with pumpkin and closes the top hatch. They are now airborne. and are flying southwest back to allied lines. Captain Anderson and WO1 Wilson take turns every couple of hours to keep a pistol trained at the pilots to make sure they don't suicidality crash the plane, SFC. Johnson keeps an eye on the navigator to make sure they don't steer off course. Sgt. Harris works the radio equipment, with SSG. Brown wounded, he is the only remaining communications sergeant who can still move. Both combat medics SFC. Hill and SSG. Parker move throughout the plane tending to the wounds of both groups.
After reaching an altitude of 16,000 ft the plane levels off and reaches cruising speed. It appears that they will reach back to base in the morning in the next few hours. But for now, everyone relaxes.
"Was werden wir machen? Oberst?" (What will we do now? Colonel?) Asked a Nazi soldier.
"Senden einee Nachricht zu dem Kriegsmarine. Und erzahl es ihnen, Schiesse das Flugzeug an Kommen von den Nordosten! Senden unserer Fleugzueg nach ihnen." (Send a message to the Kiregsmarine. And Tell them to shoot down that plan coming of the Northeast. Send our planes after them.) The Colonel oders the soldier.
"Jawhol." (Yes, sir.). The soldier responded. The Nazi saluted his colonel and ran back to the air traffic control room to send a message to the fleet 65 miles southwest about a stolen Junker JU 52 passing by them.
After a few minutes of flying, passing over Narsaq. They see below the damage that they've done. One step backward for the Nazi invasion of the US again.
Tatsumi looks around and sees how naturally calm everything is. Hopefully, they can all get back to base alive. In the front of the plane, he sees his captain and the warrant officer taking turns napping and keeping a check on the pilots, SFC. Johnson making sure that the coordinates are accurate towards their destination. SGT. Harris working hard on radio relaying information back to HQ. He sees the wounded sitting upright or laying down on the ground, with medical sergeants SFC. Hill and SSG. Parker working hard tending to the wounded. With the unwounded helping out or resting. He turns and sees Mine injured after being strafed at the arm. Akame was next to her side wrapping a bandage around her arm.
"That's a little too tight." Mine tells Akame.
"It has to be or else you won't stop bleeding. You took a big risk and this is what happens." Akame tells Mine.
"I know. But it had to be done or this plane wouldn't be able to take off." Mine tells Akame.
"Hey Mine. You alright." Tatsumi joins in.
"I'm doing fine. Thank you. You did help a lot today. When you were speaking German and wearing that uniform. I felt what they saw. Pride." She says.
"It's cliché. But it's true. They see you as a hero." Mine adds on.
"I agree too. These uniforms did help confuse within their ranks. But the good thing is. That we're all still alive." Akame commented.
"Well. After this and we get back to Washington. Why don't we all go for a drink?" Asked Tatsumi in a manner considerate of their situation and her feelings towards him.
"Hmph. Never thought you were going to ask me out for drinks?" Mine replies to Tatsumi's request.
"Never thought that this mission would work out." Akame replied as she sat by Mine's side.
"You want to join too right?" Tatsumi asks. Akame nodded her head.
Mine rolled her eyes in a non-arrogant manner.
60 miles offshore from Narsaq southeast. A Nazi carrier receives a telegram message from the airfield at Narsarsuaq. The captain of the carrier orders for two search groups of three to find and shoot them down. One group flies at a predicted path of the Junkers JU 52, the other group is to fly a bit more southwards. Kriegsmarine pilots entered their planes. These planes look similar to the F-100 Super Sabre the Americans developed almost a decade ago. But covered in distinctive German markings, the swastikas', Iron cross, and the yellow tip. They fly off, finding their target.

The sky is dark. but the sun is breaking through the darkness. With the crew flying for over two hours straight. Everyone in the back was asleep. They're about three hours away from reaching their base. Almost 400 miles from their base on the island of Newfoundland. Until then all is calm and could rest.
Nazi search group 1 followed the Junkers JU 52 predicted path towards the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador. They don't see anything and are ordered to fall back to not be shot down by enemy fighters. Search group 2 finds a dissipating jet trail. They follow the dissipating trail hoping to find their target.

Tatsumi looks out from the window. He sees a massive US Naval fleet heading towards Greenland. Probably they know that they're on the plane thanks to SGT. Harris. He looks down and sees Mine resting on his right side and Akame on his left. He looks around a bit more and sees the wounded on the floor resting while everyone else is either sleeping or hard at work making sure that they land safely.
Search group 2 follows the trail. They know that they are close.

The Junkers' plane is slowing down and making a turn to face the carrier and to land on the carrier. Anderson steps away from the cockpit and turns to everyone.
"Everyone wake up." Anderson stated in a stern voice. Everyone slowly begins to wake up in the Junkers.
"We are about to land promptly on the USS Enterprise. I suggest you get ready for a landing on the carrier. Because soon. We'll be heading stateside." Anderson said. Everyone in the Junkers was happy now that this mission gets to end, more so for the Night Hunters. As this is a mission they aren't acclimated to. Most of their craft landed in assassinations or recon.
As the Junkers' started to turn around three Luftwaffe planes began to open fire at the plane, strafing the wings and the cabin. The Junkers took damage and the Luftwaffe planes begin to fly past them.
"I guess they want revenge." Wilson commented.
"Someone get on the gun on the top!" Anderson ordered. Mine got up and walked towards the back where the rear MG is.
"Mine what are you doing? Your injuries." Tatsumi attempted to protest.
"It will be alright. All I need you to do is to make sure you got my back. I'll make sure that these Nazi bastards won't harm us." Mine tells Tatsumi. She climbs the ladder and opens the cupola above her she Holds Pumpkin tight and takes aim. A Luftwaffe pilot and his plane line up to shoot at the plane. He begins to open fire. For Mine, all of the time slowed down as she concentrates on her target. The bullets from the plan also slow down at a significant rate.
"Auf Wiedersehen." Mine says under her breath. She opens fire at the plane. The beam was long and powerful and bright. The pilot rolled his plane over but it clipped his left-wing, causing him to fall into the ocean. Just as she opened fire a few bullets from the plane struck the plane and a couple of stray bullets hit Mine on her up left shoulder causing her pain. She looks above and around for the other two planes. The remaining planes begin to open fire from above damaging the wings of the Junkers'. Mine, in pain and bleeding, repositions Pumpkin to another position but is pulled down by Tatsumi. Tatsumi notices her left shoulder bleeding out.
"Mine, please. Stop putting your life at risk. Your arm is bleeding." Tatsumi tells her. He knew how much she is willing to put her life on the line if it meant protecting her friends but he doesn't want her to go through that again.
"I know what I am doing. Trust me on this. Because if those planes shot at us again then we'll all be dead." Mine tells Tatsumi. The Junkers begin to move abruptly as more gunshots rang out the plane causing them to lose balance.
"Motor eins ist tot." (Engine one is dead) The captured Luftwaffe Lieutenant says as he looks to his right and sees the engine on fire. It has taken heavy damage. The two pilots try their best to keep the plane stable. Sgt. Harris is on the radio.
"This is SF unit Alpha. We need help! We lost an engine and are being attacked by two Luftwaffe planes. Send fighters or something!" Sgt. Harris talks on the radio.
"This is captain of the USS Enterprise. We received your distress call. We are scrambling interceptors now." Says the Captain.
On the Enterprise, two F-4 Phantom II's begin to scramble and take off from the carrier. Flying high into the air to intercept the two Luftwaffe F-100s.
Tatsumi sat Mine down and one of the Medical sergeants begin to help her wounds on her left shoulder.

The Junkers continue to dodge and evade. The two remaining Luftwaffe pilots begin to fire once again at the Junkers'. To them, it was easy as shooting fish in a barrel. The right-wing begins to separate and begins to tear off. Lubbock notices the extreme damage and uses cross tails to connect the wing to the plane. He doesn't know how long it can hold considering the extreme weight placed onto the wires. The second engine dies and now the Junkers begin to fall from the sky at a thirty-degree nose dive. They are worried about the possibility of death. Neither Wave nor Tatsumi can't use their Imperial arms due to the lack of space needed. The two Luftwaffe F-100s begin to line up on the falling plane. They line up their sights.
"Sie sind Toten jezet." (You are now dead.) One of them says. Just as they are about to fire one F-4s begin to open fire at the enemy plane, damaging it. The last Luftwaffe rolls away. The four planes, the last two Luftwaffe F-100s, and the F-4 Phantoms begin to engage in an aerial dogfight. The F-4 Phantom II, the third generation of fighters, can take out the last Luftwaffe F-100s.
The Junkers is falling from the sky, 1000 ft., 900 ft., 800 ft., 300 ft., the two Luftwaffe pilots in it can level out the plane so they don't crash and sink into the water. 100 ft., 10 ft. SPLASH!. The Junkers crashes into the water but is leveled out. The plane is beginning to take in water. Anderson calls for everyone to climb out of the plane from the back or break the windows and get out from the sides. Sgt. Harris calls for an airlift as they are sinking extremely fast. They are only three miles away from the Enterprise.
Enterprise sends out two Sikorsky SH-3 Sea Kings. The group is standing on the wings and the top of the plane, as Lubbock immediately gets to work on making a platform for the group to stand on making sure at the same time that the right-wing doesn't separate and tipping the balance of the plane over. They hear the chopping sounds of the Sea King overhead. The first helicopter lands in the water and floats near the group.
"Wounded are to go in first." Anderson shouted. Moore and Brown get onto the helicopter, Mine enters next followed by Tatsumi. Then the medical sergeants followed by the rest of Night Hunters and the rest of SF unit Alpha and the three captured Luftwaffe pilots and navigator. Wilson enters the helicopter. Anderson grabs onto a bar on the Sea King and calls for Lubbock to get on. Lubbock lets go of Cross tails and uses them to attach onto the helicopter. As he lets go of the right-wing of the plane, the right-wing sinks quickly and the plane begins to roll over. The Sea king lifts and Lubbock is able to reel himself into the helicopter. Anderson finally enters the helicopter and begins to fly back to the carrier. The Junkers plane quickly sank and disappears into the Labrador Sea. The second Sea King begins to do flyovers picking up the three Luftwaffe pilots stranded in the ocean after their planes were destroyed.

The first Sea King lands onto the Enterprise, everyone gets off. The wounded is escorted by the medic teams on the ship bringing them to the medical bay below. The medical team on the top brings the three wounded to the med bay below the ship. Everyone else got off the helicopter too and directed towards a meeting room of the ship waiting for time to pass by and rest.

Labrador Sea
Out of a portside window, the SF unit Alpha and Night Hunters are awaiting a mess hall eating breakfast after the sailors eat theirs. They've completed their mission plan at least. Destroy the missile silos that would otherwise hamper the US invasion of Greenland and Iceland. Finally making it onto allied territory.
In the bridge, Captain Anderson spoke with the Enterprise captain and allows them to leave on a C-1 Trader, but will have to wait for a few extra minutes before heading back.
Tatsumi has his head peering over the window seeing the morning sun pass the horizon he looks at his plate and hasn't even eaten his breakfast awaiting news about Mine, uncertain about her condition after being shot in the shoulder. Wave, Akame, and Kurome approach Tatsumi and talks to him.
"You alright?" Wave asks Tatsumi.
"Yeah, I am." Tatsumi replies. Wave notices that Tatsumi barely ate his breakfast. He pushes his plate forward. "I'm not really hungry right now. You guys can have it." Tatsumi tells the three.
"Don't worry. Mine will be alright. We know that she lived through much worse. All we know she could be bragging or something." Akame tells Tatsumi. The two already witnessed Mine's passing in their homeworld. Akame sits closer to Tatsumi and pats him on the back.
"If you want to we can visit her. It's been about an hour since she was sent to the med-bay." Kurome proposes the idea.
"Yeah. Probably she's hungry after all of that flying and action." Wave backs up Kurome.
"Alright. Let's go then." Tatsumi and the rest of Night Hunters get up and walk towards the med-bay.

The Night Hunters enter the med-bay to see Mine sitting near the porthole with Pumpkin. She turns and sees her comrades.
"Morning guys. Come on in." Mine tells the group of five come in the med-bay. They see both Brown and Moore resting with bandages covering their wounds. They soon approach Mine who has a bandage wrapping around her left shoulder. They brought her breakfast from the mess hall. Mine thanks for the gesture and begins to eat.
"Are you alright Mine?" Akame asks.
"I am. Don't worry about it. The corpsmen said that I would be fine and that this isn't major. Though I did lose a lot of strength" Mine responded.
"Hm. Well, I'm glad that you're alright. Are you feeling any better?" Tatsumi asks.
"A bit better actually. After a couple of shots of morphine and whatnot, they said that I'm lucky to be alive and most likely receiving a purple heart. Don't know what that means but I hope its something not disgusting." Mine tells them. They chuckled a bit at the joke. She continues to eat her breakfast which is the standard American breakfast, bacon, eggs, home-fries, and buttered toast, with a cup of black coffee. Mine doesn't prefer much coffee but drinks it down anyways. The group of six continues to talk for a bit more until Captain Anderson comes down to the med-bay.
"Guys it's time to leave. Grab your stuff and come to the top. We're heading back towards Washington." Anderson orders the Night Hunters.

Anderson and the two groups reach the top with their gear and equipment and see two C-1 Traders. The two groups enter their respective planes and sat down, Anderson sits with his Night Hunters. The Night Hunters take off first from Enterprise soon followed by SF unit Alpha. Their destination would be the same base they took off from on Newfoundland and lastly Washington.

Berlin, Germany
Nazi radio operators are receiving reports on not only the destruction of the missile silos on Greenland but also the fall of Greenland. Losing such an important base is detrimental to the Nazi cause. With the collapse of Greenland's defenses and the surrender of the North Atlantic Kriegsmarine, the Nazi war effort and influence in the Western Hemisphere is essentially eliminated. Not only do they have to report this to the Fuhrer but also the dreaded Ice General and telling either is a death sentence either way.
A Nazi soldier enters the room where Esdeath is staying in, in her estate drinking a glass of wine.
"Madam Esdeath. The Fuhrer wants to see you immediately in the Reich Chancellery." He tells her.
"*Sigh*. I'll be there soon." Esdeath replies.
Berlin, Germany
In the Reich Chancellery, Esdeath enters the office of Adolf Hitler and proceeds to salute him. It was large and grand for such office.
"Is there a reason why you have called me, my Fuhrer?" Asked Esdeath.
"Well, General. I'd like for you to know, the base in Greenland is destroyed." Hitler tells her.
"Well, its bound to happen sooner or later. I'd only wish I was there to leads its defenses and lead the second invasion." Esdeath stated.
"I see you're enthusiastic. But that is not the reason why I called for you here." Hitler tells Esdeath.
"Then what is my Fuhrer?" Asked Esdeath.
"Well, this. This is captured from our security camera in Narsaq." He shows her a couple of photos from the Narsaq base in Greenland. They depict a few German soldiers holding two women hostage. The next photo shows the aftermath including several American soldiers. The next photo he shows her depicts them in Nazi uniforms.
"We are able to denote from these photos to be your subordinate, Tatsumi." Hitler explains to Esdeath. Esdeath picks the photos up and takes a closer look. She sees Tatsumi and is ecstatic. But also sees a couple more faces she recognizes. Akame and Kurome. She is visibly angered by this sight. Kurome a subordinate that she had faith in previously now has switched sides. Akame, that same devil that not only killed her but also was the same one who betrayed and took down the Empire previously. Others she is able to partially recognize. She takes a closer look and sees Wave, who also now betrayed her trust by being in the American side.
"I see you're angered. But if it makes you happy. I got a nice mission for you." Hitler tells Esdeath in a respectful manner.
"What may that be?" Asked Esdeath.
"I'm willing to bet that you know I was recently excommunicated from the Catholic Church for our actions against them. So, I say its time to put an end to this 1900 year old institution that is holding back our German destiny. So your mission is to go to the Vatican in Rome and do as you wish. Subjugate them and have the Pope cower to our power. If they resist then I am giving you the authority to kill them and destroy the Vatican. Seeing the destruction of the Catholic Church would send shockwaves all around the world. Even the protestant faiths would bend to our will." Hitler tells Esdeath. She is intrigued by this as she is also against the teachings of the Church. Seeing it being destroyed under the Nazi boot would liven her up.
"You also don't have to worry about Mussolini and the Italian government or Franco and the Spanish governments. As they have "unanimously" agreed to move forward with this. They won't mobilize troops against you." Hitler tells Esdeath.
"That sounds amazing. I will gather up my remaining men. Also." Esdeath approaches Hitler. "I have a list of people and their profiles. I'd like to form a group. Here are their profiles." Esdeath give Hitler the profiles. Hitler looks at them. He laughs in pride.
"You got your group. I can't wait to hear your report from the Vatican." Hitler puts his right hand forward and shakes Esdeath's right hand.

This concludes the battle of Greenland. Now both groups are going back home stateside.
