World Tour.
A month had passed since Kairi became student of Aqua, Terra and Ventus, training different things every day, either a sparring match with one of the teachers, or mastering being able to use her Sora D-Link when needed and if she has enough energy for it, strengthening the power of her spells and improving her technique with the Keyblade.
For this lesson, Kairi was finally going to learn how to Formchange her Keyblade, to turn it into something else and grant new temporary skills.
"Keyblade transformations… I don't personally have that much practice with them for general combat besides my glider, and despite using some different Keyblades, so far it still defaults to my Spell Weaver style, but I think that Terra could explain this ability better." Started Aqua.
The muscular almost master stepped to the front.
"Keyblade Transformations or Formchanges for short, those vastly depend both on the wielder, and the Key, as far as we know, every single Keyblade has the potential to change to a form with its unique set of skills and abilities. But also, if a wielder mastered the Keyblade enough, they may turn any key into any object or weapon to take advantage in different ways of the Keyblade's unique stats and abilities." Explained Terra in detail.
Then he called his Ends of the Earth Keyblade, and with a quick hand movement, turned it into a large whip that he spun around, then he transformed his whip into an absurdly massive cannon, from which he fired a powerful energy blast towards a target, ending with it turning into smoke.
"And like this, if I got enough Affinity with different Keyblades, they could turn into a Whip or my Ultima Cannon too, even with some different properties depending on what they Key itself can do." He kept explaining.
Kairi looked curious towards her only Keyblade, Destiny's Embrace, really wanting to know in what it would turn into and do if she released its potential.
"Now Kairi, I want you to try to change the state of your Keyblade." Tasked Terra.
So through the following week, Kairi tried her hardest to shapeshift her Keyblade, until one day during training…
She was sparring against Aqua, the Master was keeping Kairi on her toes, not letting the student get closer by attacking from the distance with many different spells, though during a moment as she casted Thundaga… Kairi managed to throw her Key during the cast towards Aqua before the lightning strikes her, getting an opening and striking Aqua several times.
After the combo, Kairi felt… some energy coming from her Keyblade, wanting to be released, she let it flow. Suddenly, that energy went into Kairi, covering her in a gold aura, and around her appeared 6 small orbs of Light.
7 Lights.
"Kairi! Congrats, you managed to Formchange your Keyblade! Now show Aqua what you can do!" Said Ven.
"Ven, but you should support me." Said Aqua with a smile, proud of Kairi.
"Well, here it goes!" Exclaimed Kairi.
She rushed towards Aqua and hit her with the Keyblade, alongside the slash, the 6 orbs fired small light bullets, Kairi kept hitting and comboing Aqua, and the orbs would still fire their attack with each slash.
Kairi then moved away, and casted Firaga on Aqua, and suddenly, from each orb, a small Fire covered in light was casted too, and went behind Kairi's Firaga, all of the attacks landing. She tested the same with some other spells like Blizzaga, and the orbs also casted light Blizzards.
"Impressive, seems like Destiny's Embrace formchange is greatly focused on your Magic, those orbs actively attacks alongside you… and even though their attacks are far weaker, they still hurt." Said Aqua, casting Curaga on herself, and finishing the sparring.
After resting a bit and eating something, the three teachers called Kairi.
"Now Kairi, after just one month, you have progressed a lot as a Wielder, obtained the ability to use D-Links and Formchanges, your magic and technique improved… I think that you might be capable of a task." Began Aqua.
"A task? What is it, Master Aqua?" Wondered Kairi.
"You are leaving, Kairi! To other worlds!" Suddenly said Ven.
"R-really?" Asked the princess.
"… Yes, before Ven said it, we were going to explain well. You see, after the Keyblade War, with the clash of Light and Darkness, and the real Kingdom Hearts being summoned, the balance has gone quite crazy, Heartless and Nobodies has appeared in quite the quantity in several worlds" Started to explain Aqua.
"Obviously, the other Guardians knows about this and are leading with the plagues in many worlds, so your task is just to check in different worlds they haven't been to yet, and get rid of the darkness inside them." Finished Terra.
"Finally… I will get to have actual field experience… and not just directly fight an organization of super strong people right after my basic training" Complained Kairi.
Aqua looked towards Kairi with a sad expression, the girl got literally killed due to being thrown in a situation far above her level too soon. This should help her better.
"I have updated the map in your Gummi ship to show some worlds that could be a good beginning, after that, you can just explore around the worlds at your will while fighting the darkness" Aqua said.
"Thank you! This is so much better… Out the three of us, Riku was really the one that always wanted to explore everywhere, but that doesn't mean I didn't want that too. And yet, despite finding out that countless worlds exist… I have barely seen a few." Stated the princess.
"You'll see how cool it is! Sure, Heartless may be dangerous, but making a variety of completely different friends, and seeing how cool and nice looking the worlds are, it's so worth." Told Ventus.
Very excited, Kairi went to her Gummi ship.
"Be very careful, Kairi, your strength, talent and potential are great, but you must still take care." Warned Aqua.
"I'm sure that after this world tour, you will have the strength that you desire." Promised Terra.
"Have a good time, Kairi. And if you see any of my friends, say hi for me!" Requested Ven.
"Of course Ven." Answered Kairi… unsure on how she'd know who his friends are.
She said goodbye and waved to the trio, and embarked on the trip, leaving the Land of Departure.
She looked at her Gummi map, and saw 2 potential worlds, with their names said above: Portorosso and The Country of Pendragon.
