The Country of Pendragon.
After deciding for a few minutes, Kairi decided to begin the trip towards the City of Pendragon.
The Gummi journey wasn't too bad, there were only regular Heartless ships in that direction, though she also found a vortex which she knew would contain a powerful foe. And in the path, she destroyed several meteors to get Gummi materials and a decent amount of Mythril.
From outside the world, she could see how it will be, a medieval town with a castle, a city farther away, and a big forest.
She pressed a button on her ship… and got teleported into the world.
For the world intro, a book appears and opens, as a voice sings while pages passes.
A legend is sung, of when england was Young.
And knights were brave and bold.
The good King had died, and no one could decide who was rightful heir to the throne.
It seemed that the land, would be torn by war. Or saved by a Miracle alone.
And that Miracle appeared in London Town.
The Sword in the Stone.
The last page shows a sword with the words "Whose pulleth out this sword of this Stone and anvil is rightwise King born of England.
Then, from the book's pages, content is released, several knights on horses in the ground, a town with a castle surrounded by a forest, and then within a light, the sword appears and pierces through the place.
The Country of Pendragon.
Kairi landed in middle of a clearing in the forest, first thing she did was look at her body, nope, still same appearance. Shen then looked around, first thing she noticed was the big castle not that far away, and decided that it would probably be a good place to find out if there's any situation, so she begins to walk towards it.
"This is really exciting, actually my first mission, I wonder what I will find on this world." She says.
Suddenly, Heartless appeared on the path, a bunch of regular Shadows Red Nocturnes and Heartless Kairi never saw before, like dark wolves with yellow eyes and claws.
"Heartless! Ok, I'm ready." Kairi said summoning her weapon.
The wolf Heartless attacked first, the pack doing a synchronized leap towards Kairi, who blocked them with her Barrier, which then exploded, throwing them away.
While the wolves attacked, a few Shadows had gone underground, and appeared behind Kairi, attacking with their claws, but she Slides away and casts Fire to attack the basic Heartless, for then finish off the Shadows with a few Keyblade Strikes.
The Red Nocturnes had begun to throw fire at Kairi, who blocked it to send the spells back to the casters. Then she heard multiple howls, she looked towards the wolves running towards her at a fast speed while having a small red aura around them, the howl apparently making the pack stronger.
One leaped towards Kairi, who smacked it away with her Keyblade, then another jumped and she did the same, but she didn't see the wolf jumping from behind, tackling her and dealing some damage.
"That's it, Thunder!" Kairi said, making lightning appear from above, destroying the Wolves.
A second group of Heartless appeared, this time Red Nocturnes, Blue Rhapsodies and Yellow Operas, and another pack of wolves.
Thunder appeared above Kairi, who barely dodged it with a slide, Nocturnes and Rhapsodies casted fire and blizzard, and at the same time, the wolves did a coordinated leap, Kairi used her barrier to reflect the spells, and block and strike the wolves with her reprisal at the same time.
At this point, Kairi felt the energy coming from her Keyblade, so she released it again, using the Seven Lights form.
She casted Thunder to see how it changed, then the 6 light orbs suddenly appeared above the enemies, and alongside Kairi's thunder, they fired a small lightning bolt each, which destroyed many of the Nocturnes and Rhapsodies, though obviously did nothing to the Operas.
The wolves did the howl to buff the pack, and then circled Kairi, who did a spinning attack, the light orbs covering her Key in light for that move, giving it a wide range that smacked the wolves away.
"Now time to see what happens when I fully release this form's power." The princess says.
Kairi raised her Keyblade, covering it in light, and then she floated in the air, the 6 orbs circling around her, then Kairi starts to fire a barrage of light blasts from her Key, the orbs doing the same with smaller ones, the seven lights starts to spin around, attacking every enemy in a circle, destroying all the Heartless, then Kairi's light aura and the orbs disappear.
"If I have to say it myself… I think that was pretty good." Kairi said with a smirk.
Kairi kept walking through the forest and towards the castle, encountering some more Heartless on the path, and a few chests with Potions and Ethers, alongside one hidden within tall bushes with a Fang Recipe, which she could give later to the first Moogle she finds.
After a while, she reached the town, and the doors of the castle, and she found 2 persons also crossing the bridge, with an owl flying alongside them, she quickly recognized one of the persons…
"Master Merlin?" She exclaimed in shock.
The duo turned and looked at her, there was Kairi's previous teacher, Merlin, with his blue robes and wizard hat, and his long white beard.
Alongside him was a young skinny blond boy who looked at her on surprise.
"Merlin, I had no idea you were teaching someone else too!" The kid said.
"Not quite, Wart, this girl here was my previous student right before you, and I must say, a talented wizard, though obviously not close to me." Merlin explained to the kid apparently called Wart.
"Master Merlin? So this kid is your newest student? Does he has a…" Kairi asked, obviously meaning a Keyblade.
"A Keyblade? No, no, Arthur here, or as people calls him, Wart, is my student in a more regular way, I give him lessons, trying to make his brain develop." Answered the wizard.
"Regular? Merlin, we just came from the water after you turned us into fishes!" Argued Arthur.
"Which was a terrible idea, my feathers got all wet from trying to catch the boy." The owl suddenly complained.
Kairi was not really surprised at seeing a talking owl… she had meet a talking Duck after all.
"So, what are you doing here on this world, my girl?" Asked the old teacher.
"Master Merlin! You can't…!" Suddenly exclaimed Kairi.
"Eh, the world order is an overrated mess, I have sent a rich duck to other worlds, your friends have constantly destroyed the order by doing so much in other worlds, and the space-time has not been destroyed yet, and besides, believe me, Wart will become someone worthy of knowing anyway." Merlin countered, winking at Kairi with the last sentence.
"M-Merlin? What are you talking about? Did you just mention… other worlds?" Arthur asked in shock.
"Yes, my boy, you thought this planet was the only one that had life? Ha! Every star you see in the sky Wart, each one is a completely different world, and this girl here is Kairi, a princess, and from another world too." Explained Merlin.
Arthur stood in complete shock for a whole minute, his brain trying to process what he just learned.
"Well, look at this, you just broke the boy." Stated the owl.
"Ah, he'll be fine, oh, and this smart owl here is Archimedes." Presented Merlin.
"Huh, well, anyway, let's head back inside, I'm sure that the old walrus you have as guardian is gonna shout something at any moment." Said Merlin with an annoyed glare.
And indeed, from the castle, a man's voice started to call.
"Wart! Wart! WAAART!"
"I'm coming! I'm coming!" Wart exclaimed.
"Kairi, want to join us? I was given the "best room in the castle", which is a horrible tower that will fall off as any time, but I'm sure that you will get a better treatment" Asked Merlin.
"Of course Master Merlin, thanks. I had to stay on this world for a bit anyway to get rid of the Heartless" Said the girl.
So Kairi and her old teacher go into the castle, where a big man was angry at Arthur, while a younger man was watching while sitting on a chair and eating a chicken leg.
"So no more fish stories! 3 demerits for being late, and other 3 for the fish story" The man said, punishing Arthur.
"I-I'm sorry sir" Arthur apologized, heading towards the kitchen.
Then the man looked at the wizard's direction.
"Oh, Marvin… and who might this young lady be?" Asked the man, looking at Kairi.
"Merlin… and this, you old walrus, is Kairi, she is a Princess from another land." Merlin answered with a smirk.
"A… a… a princess!? By Jove, Kay! Did you hear this? Old Marvin actually is acquaintance with royalty! Who would have thought?" The man said in shock.
"Yes dad, the wizard really got some eye." Kay said, stopping with the chicken as he gave Kairi a dumb smile, who made two steps back.
"Well, where are my manners? I'm Sir Ector, and this here is my dear son Kay, who will soon be a knight of name." The lord of the castle presented himself.
"Nice to meet you, Sir, I'm Kairi." She presented herself.
"Now, Marvin said that you are from a distant land, so you must be tired from your journey, allow me to show you your room, it's on the top floor, has everything you might need, and an amazing view" Ector offered.
Merlin walked away, heading towards his tower while muttering.
"Of course, I knew this would happen, the walrus actually gives a comfortable room to her, but not to the strongest wizard in the universe." He said to himself, annoyed.
After that, Kairi was brought to her room, which was quite fancy and comfortable, and then Ector left.
On her room, Kairi saw a big chest, she opened it, and got a map for The Country of Pendragon, then she went to her bed
"First time I visit a world by myself… and it's going well so far, and who knows? Maybe since I'm here, besides getting rid of the Heartless, Merlin could teach me some incredible magic or ability." Kairi said as she closed her eyes.
