Tales of Demiyah Oliver: Halloween Special
Halloween Special taking place when Demiyah is fifteen. Plots have been discussed between myself and PKGamingDrew. We both own nothing copyrighted. We have split OC's and fanmade things in this series we own. Ask before use.
Fifteen year old Demiyah Oliver woke up to a song playing on her clock radio. It was the song It's Spooky In Here that was created after the Digimon were revealed. Taking a look at her calendar she squealed. It was the biggest holiday in Reefside. All Hallows Eve, Samhain, Day Of The Dead, Halloween whatever you called it, it was Octoner 31st. Ever since all the supernatural incidents happened, Reefside embraced the spooky and supernatural during October. Many elaborate decorations, haunted houses, corn mazes, festivals, parties, halloween movies were given special screenings at every theater including outdoor theaters, costume contests, trunk or treats, carnivals, and so many festivities were held from October 1st to November 2nd to keep in the traditions of the Latino community. Demiyah came downstairs as Baron Leltoy, Lync Volan, Gus Grav, and Keith Clay aka Spectra Phantom looked at their Lady. Lync hesitantly asked, "So what's got you in a good mood?" Demiyah smiled, "Remember when we went to that one store I said was only open for this month a couple weeks ago?" Gus replied, "Yes. But what does that have to do with your good mood?" Demiyah chuckled, "That was a Halloween store. We bought costumes so we could to the big Halloween Festival in town tonight. But we have to be home to help with the Haunted Forest walk at ten tonight. It's a Saturday so we don't have school tomorrow and can sleep in. Dan and the others are going to be there to join us at the Festival." Baron and Keith threw their own questions about the holiday out. There was trick or treating too. Demiyah even offered to share her story of her adventure in the World of Hocus Pocus after they finished the movie while having lunch.
While eating grilled cheese sandwhiches and vegetable beef soup in the front room Demiyah said, "So as far as I know the Seers in the Disney corporation omit any Keyblade Wielder they see unless their Toons, then they have them as 'Easter Eggs' or 'Cameos' for film enthusiasts. I arrived in the Hocus Pocus world around three in the afternoon. So after realizing it was Halloween there and I was without a costume, I found a place still open and quickly got a knight costume and a bag which I enchanted to hold more candy. I went around the houses first then the bigger manors who gave out a ton of sweets. Several places like that were giving out full size candy bars. Once I had my fill of trick or treating I followed Max, Allison, and Dani who were stunned at me following them. We got to the Sanderson house and Max idioticallyused a lighter to light the Black Flame Candle ressurecting the Sisters. We stole the book and ran off to the Cemetary but Winnifred raised her ex boyfriend Billy Butcherson from his grave..."
Lync asked in shock, "So you fought a zombie and three undead witches?!"
Demiyah said, "Getting back on topic, we mad dashed to City Hall where the witches used their magic in their combined voices to cast a spell on the adults to have them dance until they died. The kids of Salem were then fed hexed candy crows making them easier to manipulate. They found Max and Dani's house and stole the book back along with Dani, Binx, and myself taking Dani and I to their home while Sarah entranced the children. One thing that shocked me was Sarah's siren voice was never invoked around her sisters except when they sang I Put A Spell On You together. I suppose I've wondered if Winnie was afraid of Sarah's power or something. Anyways, they took Dani and I back to the cottage and intended to use one of us as their first victim. However, they didn't know I had a Keyblade or the truth about my necklace I was wearing. It's a Miraculous. The Pagasus Miraculous to be specfic. It the strongest of the Mythic Set which are ten different Miraculous. Master Fu found them and hid them until I came and entrusted the box to me not as a Guardian but as their Protector until their destined users were found. I was given the Pegasus Miraculous. Using my magic I was able to enhance my strength enough to break the chair I was tied to and used the Pegasus Miraculous to fight them in conjunction with my Keyblade. They were certainly shocked. Since they mentioned their sister Elizabeth was taught by a wizard with such a blade. I later learned it was Master Yen Sid who taught Elizabeth to be a White Witch. Using the Miraculous' special ability of Heartspirit, the Sisters were lethargic so Max was able to destroy the potion and we ran off with Dani and Binx. Even if they were bullies, I used my Keyblade to free Jay and Ice from their cages. We discovered Billy was a good guy and he helped us. Winnifred was so angry she conjured Heartless and demons. I wanted nothing more to protect my new friends including Binx so my powers summoned Elizabeth Sanderson's spirit and the spirits of her sister's victims including one Emily Binx. The Light inside my heart was so strong that Elizabeth's good magic joined with my Keyblade armor to create a new evolution of my armor. It was pure white mithril and Moon blessed silver. I called it the Armor of Saint Joan. As Saint Joan was a woman fighting for innocent lives long ago. Max saved Dani by drinking the last bit of potion Winnie had. I defeated her Dark Magic raised minions with ease thanks to my magical Armor. Before she faded into the afterlife Elizabeth gave me an amulet that contained her White Witch magic which would trigger my Aromor of Saint Joan in the future as well as her personal grimoire with every good or kind spell she learned and several she had created. Binx passed as Emily waited to guide him to the afterlife where he finally reunited with his parents after three centuries. Billy returned to his grave and I covered it up again. Billy's spirit passed to the afterlife thanking us for everything. Allison went home but to keep her from getting int trouble, I spun a story that a trio of nutjobs who believed they were the reincarnations of the Sanderson sisters kidnapped the kids of Salem and intended to sacrifice them in the cemetary. Allsion helped Max, Jay, and Ice using his actual name Ernie in rescuing the kids which included Max's little sister Dani. The nut jobs proceeded to run out of town and light themselves on fire to the point there was not even any living tissue left. Allison chimed in the reason she was so late was because she was helping all of the kidnapped children get home as there were a lot of them. Allison's parents were stunned but comended Allison in helping the children. As they had a ton of candy left, Max, Dani, Ice, Jay, and I were allowed to split what was left."
Baron and the boys were stunned. Keith simply said, "Wow. I doubt I'll ever be able to see this movie in the same light ever again." The group of five finished their lunch and left to change into their costumes. Demiyah looked to her female Mauan adivsor in her room and said, "It's funny Selene. Denki had been with me for so long and a crucial part of every adventure I've had since I was six. It's so weird that he and Izuku aren't here right now. They really loved the Halloween Festival. Not to mention we do have our tradition of the Feast of the Dead. I make sure to set places for the friends I made on my travels through various world's that I had lost. Like Binx and Elizabeth. I might not have known either of them very long but I do my best to insure their remembered for their courageous efforts."
The group of two humans, one lunarian princess, three Mauans, one digimon, and four vestals left to head to the festival. The kids split up from the adults to have fun. They met up with the other members of the Resistance. Ace coming along rather reluctantly. He felt they should be training to take down the remaining Vexos. However, whenever he suggested it after brutal training sessions, Demiyah would smack him upside the head and explain again how their bodies need time to rest and recover. Just because she was team medic first and foremost did not mean she had to be team mom. Though Ace really did need someone to light into him from time to time and give him maternal love. She had her reservations about the Resitance's families. The Clay siblings mother was a wonderful woman as were Baron's family, and Gus' parents. Lync admitted his parents were addicts and dumped him at an orphange. The second Kimberly heard this she was making waves about adopting Lync. Which made the former Ventus Vexos shocked. She barely knew him and she wanted to adopt him. It made the brunette cry tears of joy. With how big their house was after they renovated it following Demiyah's exchange trip where she stayed with Takuya's family space was no issue. Nor was money. Since their reveals as Rangers, they got royalties from figures, comics, costumes, stuffed toys, and the like. Tommy and Kimberly banked half of their royalties and invested the other half. Knowing the Keeper of Time was a godsend because she was a financial advisor outside of her Scout duties. She had helped the rangers increase their profits from royalties so they could start up new projects and charities to help out after major battles. She also managed the Crystal Stars which was the band that Demiyah, the Inners, and Trista's fellow Outers were a part of. The same band would be playing a set of four songs at the festival concert tonight.
Ace had been lagging behind and Demiyah noticed. She said to Dan, "Hey listen for a sec Dan. Ace and I need to have a one on one talk we'll meet up at the carnival rides in thirty minutes. Keith, Lync, Gus behave. Baron you have my permission to set my mom on them if they get rowdy." Everyone agreed when Demiyah grabbed Ace's hand and dragged him to a picnic table after buying two pumpkin spice ice creams. Sitting down Demiyah asked, "So why haven't I heard anything from your parents or even heard you mention them Ace? I've met Baron's family, Keith and Mira's mom, and Gus' crazy mom's. But not yours. I haven't met Lync's either but if his descriptions are anything to go by I don't want to at all. So what's your story?"
Ace looked down and said, "My parents wanted a girl but they had me instead. For years they tried to make me as feminine as possible but when I got older and into more masculine things, they started to hit me. It didn't get very bad until I made a sports team at school. I was so excited and couldn't wait to tell my parents thinking like an idiot they would be proud of me. But the abuse got worse. Then they would lock me out of the house or go away for days if not weeks. I got a job on weekends and after school working as a waiter. The cook teaching me how to make simple things. So I lived by myself working to support myself. Then my parents came home and shipped me off to my super strict aunt and uncle on New Vestroia then I met Mira who gave me Percival and joined the Resistance. You know my story from there." Demiyah's eyes were glowing bright pink she said to the Darkus Brawler, "Ace I swear if I ever see your parents I will light their pathetic asses on fire! You didn't deserve any of that. If you want I can arrange for you to stay on Earth with one of my family members if you like. I will see to it you never have to go backif you don't want to." Ace said in confusion, "Why?! Why do care so much about this?! I shouldn't be this important to you! Outside of brawling, I'm totally worthless." Demiyah hugged Ace prmpting the Darkus brawler to cry. Unknown to either teen the reso of the team were listening in and they were pissed. Dan having Sanada blood through his paternal great grandmother couldn't believe what he had heard. Ace was tough, but maybe that tough attitude was meant to hide the hurt from seeing families who were happy while his only caused him pain.
Jason had also heard this. He walked up to the pair and said, "Demiyah, once the Vexos are defeated I intend to head to Ace's home planet and demand custody. I'll file the paperwork to adopt him through SPD. No child should have to live like he has!" Dan spoke up, "Well said Jase. I'll be blunt, Those with Sanada blood will be pissed. Ace is one of ours through emotional bond. No one should be that stupid yet the evidence is there plain as day." Demiyah put her hand on top of Ace's, "Your family to Dan and I now Ace. Family should never hurt each other or give up on one another. We'll defend you with everything we've got. I swear as a Keyblade Master I will protect you, Baron, Keith, Lync, Gus, Mira, and our fellow Brawlers with every spell, power, and weapon I have." Her eyes and Heart glowed as she swore her oath. Dan, Kimberly, Tommy, and Jason out of the entire group knew Demiyah wasn't the type of person to make those sort of oaths lightly. Ace actually let the semblence of a real smile show on his face for a chance.
Once the group had their emotional heart to heart in which Demiyah tearfully recounted the moment when she was six when she had been forced to cut ties with her adopted Grandmother and her Stepgrandfather due to their hated of the Keyblade and the fact Kimberly, Tommy, and Demiyah herself didn't fit with the plan Caroline wanted for her daughter. It had been even worse since Caroline discovered that her daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter were Power Rangers. You would think she would be extatic at the revelation they were protecting innocents, but no she wasn't. Caroline wanted Kimberly to become a famous Gymnast who wasn't married or had no kids until she was in her fourties that she adopted from a third world country. Kimberly went to college with help from Lightspeed Rescue got expidited learning courses to become a dentist. Her and Tommy married the summer after their freshman year of college and went to Florida on their honeymoon where they taught a few days at Gunter Schmidt's gym. Tommy even helping with a class for rape victims so they would be able to learn to defend themselves. Eraqus may have been Blinded by Light but even he would be proud of his daughter doing what she could to protect their home while he was away from it. He would have been thrilled to see the confident and strong young woman his granddaughter was slowly but surely becoming.
The group was partying at the carnival. Playing games, going on rides, eating good food, going in haunted houses, exploring the entire carnival. Before too long it was time for the concert. Other local groups were playing with the Crystal Stars ending the show. The first song was one Demiyah had done a while back. During her adventure as Sailor Moon. Namely while battling the Heart Snatchers and pulling double duty as the Blue Stinger Beetleborg and later Chromium Gold Beetleborg.

The first song was called Fearless. Because despite her young age Demiyah wasn't afraid of her enemies. She knew she and her sisters-in-arms were the only hope for their World against the evil that threatened it.

The second song was from a Disneyland Paris Halloween Parade which cemented just how much of a Disney nerd Demiyah really was. Dan shook his head in amusement remembering when after the battles on Christmas, she dragged the Brawlers to Florida for a mandatory vacation. She actually got Shun to laugh a feat none of the others even Koichi had thought possible! Then again Demiyah's cheerful attitude was contagious. Though they did get a chuckle watching her do character impressions to the characters faces. The Mickey they saw openly bowing on his knees making everyone howl in laughter! Dan wondering if Demiyah still had that video.

Bumo in the night actually came from a friend of Demiyah's. She openly enjoyed the modern day Thriller vibes it gave off. It also suited the creepy atmosphere of the holiday perfectly.

The last song was the iconic Hocus Pocus tune I Put A Spell On You. The song ended with an awesome firework show. Everyone was laughing and having fun.
The Haunted Forest tours went off without a hitch while the Resistance members on Earth were out Trick or Treating. Then they helped out on the Tours. Once that ended they participated in the Feast of The Dead. It was a tradition that the Vestal members were interested in. There were also Day of the Dead celebrations to be held as well.
Going to bed that night, Demiyah could have swore she saw something in the sky. She looked up and thought she saw that her mother moon was a blue eye. Shaking her head the eye was gone. "Why do I have a bad feeling about that strange eye I saw in the sky?"
In Scala Ad Caelum Luxu bowed before his master Diomedes also called Xehanort. "She's gotten even stronger my Lord. If the Princess grows even stronger then our plans and manipulations the last One Thousand years will be for nothing." Xehanort said, "Game on then Princess Serenity. Game on."
