He woke up uneasy.
A feeling of something wrong and lifeless permitted the air. He felt it. It was like someone wrapped a blanket of filth over him.
His eyes glanced over to his bedside clock and read the time.
3:37 am.
He glanced around his apartment and noticed only silence. There was energy buzzing within the room that almost felt like excitement, but all he felt was nervousness.
He slowly dragged himself to his window and opened it slightly to breathe in the fresh air.
Immediately after opening the window he wished he hadn't. Shoving his hand over his nose and mouth, he gagged.
The smell of something repulsive overcame his senses.
Whatever was outside stunk like rotten meat left out for too long. He quickly pushed the window back into place and reclosed his curtains until he was once again left in darkness. The smell lingered even as he slammed the window shut. The stench settled into his churning stomach and he knew he wouldn't be sleeping for the rest of the night.
Somewhere in the dark corner of the room he saw a shadow move and heard quiet laughter.
Line
When the first light broke out and the clock read 7:20 Naruto crawled out from under his blankets and got ready for the day.
He dragged his lethargic body towards his closet, where he saw his favorite pair of orange shorts and a basic white t-shirt. He noticed his shirt had a hole in the arm and was getting too short on him. Most of his clothes were dirty and worn. He often didn't get the chance to buy new things. The thought of opening up Gama-chan put a stunt to his mood.
He had an ophan fund since he started living on his own, but it was only enough for rent and food. While he did have a stash of savings in the apartment he wasn't so willing to open it up to buy something new for himself.
Sighing, he went to go change and put on his shoes while ignoring the calls of his gut for food. He didn't want to make a mess and was eager to get to the library today.
He wanted to see if he could find any information on spirits or any accounts of manifestations from others at the library. He figured it would be the best place to look.
His hand hovered over the knob and the same feeling of nervousness overcame him again. Bracing himself he opened the door.
There was still something lingering in the air, but the intensity wasn't there like last night.
So, he started his way to the library ducking his head trying to avoid contact with others as much as he could.
He ended up running the rest of the way after that. Even the park was quiet. Usually, children at this point were running around screaming as their parents heaved deep sighs. There was nobody there today. The swings swung empty in the wind.
When he finally reached the building, an employee was in the progress of locking the building. This did not correlate with the hours posted on the door. Something must have happened.
The person locking the door turned around and saw him at the bottom of the stairs, they called out to him.
He quickly recognized them as one of the library clerks that disliked him. They had a stern frown on their face making them look angry. When they looked at him, their frown deepened.
He shifted his feet.
"The library is closed, so you should go home. What are you trying to do here?"
He would have figured his intentions were obvious, but apparently not.
He tilted his head at them in confusion. "Is it a holiday today?"
It must have been a bad question because their face turned stony. They loomed over him and he quickly took a step back in fear. "Didn't your parents-." They paused and changed their tune. "Due to a village crisis, we closed most public buildings today."
He ignored the comment about his lack of family and briefly wondered if the shutdowns had to do with the smell from last night.
He nodded his head slightly. "Will the building be opened tomorrow?"
Surprisingly, they answered him. They gave a negative shake of the head. "No, they will not be opened for a couple of days. Come back then."
That changed his plans for the day, so he thanked them. They blinked mutely, so he took his cue to leave the same way he came. He was going to ask what happened but figured the clerk would not tell him. If his face was anything to go by.
Not wanting to go back to his apartment, he keeps an eye out for Sakumo anywhere. Maybe he would know what's happened, or he could find out for himself. In the distance he saw other ghosts trailing behind others, some speaking incoherently and others whispering to other spirits.
Walking through the streets he picked up some words.
"Dead… tragedy."
It sounded like something severe happened. First, the smell, then the shutdowns, what was next?
He turns into an alley where he hears two distinctly female voices talking.
He stopped in his tracks in the alleyway where two older women were whispering to themselves in the opening of the street. They looked apprehensive. There was a young girl with them, who he assumed was one of their daughters. She was glancing around bored. He silently made his way towards them to see if they would provide any information of what happened.
The lady on the left had dark hair that reached down to her backside and she wore a dark green ankle-length dress that was accompanied by black sandals. She had dark eyes and a stern look.
The other woman has shoulder-length, blonde hair with a single bang that sweeps down into her face. Looking at her she has striking green eyes and wears a simple yet lovely white dress with three red circular designs on it. Underneath the dress, she wore pink pants.
Similarly, the girl with them also had green eyes, but she had the most interesting shade of pink hair. They looked like they were the same age. Glancing at the girl, he saw her eyes wandering around. She eventually did spot him coming closer to them. She tilted her head to the side in curiosity, almost as if asking what he was doing.
The two older women did not notice him yet, so he put his finger to his lips and nodded his head to the girl. He snuck behind an empty box and listened. He only heard the last few snippets of the conversation.
"It's hard to believe this happened last night while we were sleeping." The woman sighed.
"I only know because Shikaku told me this morning that the Uchiha's were killed."
Her friend nodded. "I was originally taking Sakura to a private class and didn't receive the notice that it was canceled until I was there and a teacher told me what happened."
He assumed Sakura was the kid with them then and briefly glanced back at her, but she wasn't looking at him. She was looking out to the road. Apparently, the conversation was uninteresting to her.
They continued talking.
"Hard to believe such a sweet little boy would do something so horrible and to his family no less." Her voice lowered even more. "To leave a 7-year-old behind-." The blonde hair woman stopped mid-sentence and shook her head as she glanced at the pink-haired girl next to her.
She put her hand on her head and ruffled it, causing the girl to wipe her hand away. She glanced at him again now that her attention was away from the road. This time the two ladies noticed him.
The dark-hair one started stalking towards him with a dangerous glint in her eye while cursing a little under her breath. "You! Get out of here. It's rude to eavesdrop on people's conversations." He took her advice and high-tailed it away from them not looking back.
He stumbled out of the Alley into the main road startling a store owner who was taking out the trash.
He ignores their glare and continues to look for Sakumo-sensei. He didn't fully understand what the two women were talking about, but if the whole Uchiha Clan was killed then Rika and Tsuna have nobody to help them except for Naruto and Sakumo. The Uchiha's were Konoha's police force, but now...Nobody was.
He thought of the grumpy old chief with the deep lines on his face. He always looked so stressed and he didn't think it was just because of him. Sometimes he was kind to Naruto and would give him a small candy and a pat on the head before sending him home. He felt sadness hit him then.
Naruto ended up walking until he came into a training field closer to the outskirts of Konoha. Now that he thinks about it the Uchiha's live in the outskirts of the village. It was probably close to where he was.
Not that he could get anywhere close it the compound. The Uchiha were notorious for their traps. He remembered when he tried pranking them once but was ultimately caught by a rope trap. It was embarrassing when they had to get him down.
Now though, he bet nobody could get access to the homes. Village security was probably up and the compound watched 24/7.
He wondered if they are dead, could he talk to them? There is a possibility that they moved on as Yamamoto and Saori did, but at this point, he doesn't know.
A feeling of nervousness and doubt crept into his mind. If he did find anyone would they be willing to talk? Or would they be like Yamamoto's dead mother, dark, hateful, and mean?
He decidedly doesn't want to go alone, so he renews his effort to find Sakumo.
line
It doesn't take him long to find him after that. Sakumo was at the memorial stone head bowed and face somber.
He wonders whose name he knows on the stone, but decides against asking. He feels that would be a little invasive. Naruto tentatively walks up to him.
"Hey, is everything alright?"
Sakumo is startled at the question and quickly looks over at him.
"Ah-Naruto-Kun." He smiles at him but it looks more like a grimace. "Everything is ok. What are you doing here?"
"Looking for you actually." He replies honestly.
Sukumo raises his eyebrow at him and gestures for him to stand by him. He does at prompted and is hit with a bout of cold.
Sakumo's ghostly hand 'grips' his shoulder and he smiles at him again, but this time it looks and feels real. "Why were you looking for me?" He asks kindly.
"Well." He licks his lips. "Do you know everything that's happened last night?" He notices Sakumo flinch and takes off his hand from his shoulder. The cold remains.
"Sadly." he cast his eyes to the side where the memorial stone is for a moment before focusing on his again. "How much do you know about the Uchiha clan?"
He pondered for a moment. What did he know? Not much really except what everyone knows. That they have the famous (or infamous depending on who you ask.) Sharingan. He couldn't tell much about the doijutsu if anyone asked though.
"I don't know a lot." He admitted. "I know they live in the outskirts of the village and they are a strong clan with a powerful doijutsu."
Sakumo nodded at him like he expected him to say that. "The Uchiha." He started. "Are one of the founding clans of Konoha and one the most prominent alongside the Senju and Uzumaki clan. They are considered by some to be the strongest and most dangerous clan in history. Not just for their doijutsu the Sharingan, but also their prowess in taijutsu and ninjutsu."
If it were possible he would say Sakumo had become paler.
"A clan that is was so widely feared for their skills and doijutsu, and it was completely eradicated overnight." He heard as much from the two women earlier but it doesn't completely answer everything.
He continued. "I suppose not completely gone. There was one survivor...a boy your age named Sasuke. He's in the academy like you so I don't know if you've seen him around."
He tried to recollect if he remembered seeing a boy with an Uchiha clan symbol. His mind supplied a brief image of a boy with dark hair and equally dark eyes practicing with kunai alone in a field.
"I've seen him a few times. We weren't in the same class though."
He ghost nodded. "Well now he's in the hospital in a coma and they don't know if he'll make a full recovery."
He supposes he should feel sad, but all he felt was indifference. Which is a horrible thing to be feeling.
"Sensei?" The man looked at him at attention. "Who did it, who killed them?"
Sakumo looked again at the stone and shook his head. "Itachi Uchiha. One of their own, single handily."
Oh, that's horrible he thought. It wasn't a foreign force that wiped them out, it was a domestic enemy. Why would their clansmen slaughter them and leave a survivor? It seems sloppy and something doesn't sound right about the situation.
"I suspected something like this to happen. Just not so soon. The Uchiha has had a hard relationship from what I gathered since the time of the founding of the village. I believe, from what I witnessed the relationship between the village, council, and the clan has become more strained since the Kyuubi attack 7 years ago. I have been watching for years now and something is amiss in the village."
The man paused briefly and sighed. "Something is going on behind the scenes that I cannot see. There is more to this story than meets the eye. I believe the death of this clan is just a small factor in what's in store for the village. It makes me wonder if our deceased friend Yamamoto is a factor I have not considered relating to the death of the Uchiha."
He's never heard Sakumo speak so much before, and what he is saying is troubling. He may still be young and not able to grasp or understand everything that is going on, but even he can tell something is amiss. "Well, what now?"
"Hmmm?"
"With the Uchiha gone that means the Konoha police force are gone as well."
Sakumo frowned. "I didn't think of that." He hesitated for a moment in thought. "Should we disband this little mystery, Naruto?"
What!?
"W-we can't!" He blurted out. They couldn't just quit, and while he was known for many things, giving up wasn't one of them. At this point, he admittedly is invested in seeing where this goes. Plus he's finally getting real training from a (former) Ninja. Sakumo brought him into this and they will see it through.
"Sakumo-sensei, I don't want to quit. Why do you want to give up now?" He glared at the man slightly, his hands clenched. "I want to help the Yamamoto family. Even if the Uchiha family suffered it doesn't mean we couldn't help another family. We promised her!"
The ghost stared at him for what felt like a minute then unexpectedly started laughing. He blinked stupidly at him and felt his mouth gape open in confusion.
Maybe the apparition finally lost it.
"You're right Naruto! Sorry, I was worried about you and how you would deal with everything going on. I'm putting a burden on you that you don't need and placing you in danger. I want to help Rika and Tsuna too."
"Ah-good!" He smiled a little and felt the unease lift from him. He looked around to see if anybody was in the area, as he was being loud from his little outburst. The tree swayed lightly in the warm breeze and somewhere in the distance, a bird cawed.
"For now Naruto, I'll be looking into the incident on my own." He was about to yell at him when he was interrupted. "Meanwhile, I want you to work on training."
He perked up at that. The ghostly man already taught him the Henge and quite well at that. He wonders what he would teach him next. Maybe a fire Jutsu or some even more powerful. He felt his excitement grow. "What are you going to teach me Sensei?"
The man smiled and as quickly as his excitement grew it was squashed. "Chakra exercises!" He said joyfully.
The grin on his face dimmed. "Oh."
"Don't be like that Naruto. Chakra exercises are vital to a shinobi's success and survival. Without control of your energy one can't create or utilize Jutsu. While you learned the henge quite easily, other Jutsu's will require finer point chakra control."
Sakumo starting walking away from him towards one of the training grounds and gestured for him to follow. Glancing around for anyone watching he kept his distance while following him.
Sakumo went further into the forest nearby and lead him to a tree with a large thick trunk.
"I think the best exercise for you to start is tree climbing. I'm assuming you've already started learning how to use and circulate your chakra?"
He nodded. They started that halfway through last year. Some of his classmates hadn't managed to do anything with their chakra, but he overheard from one of the instructors that it was because they had small reserves. He was able to access his chakra after a few attempts."
"Good, good." He gestured for him to stand in front of the trunk. "This exercise involves focusing a certain fixed amount to chakra to be focused in your feet. If used correctly you can climb a tree without using your hands. I will warn you if your stream of chakra is too weak you will lose your footing and fall off, risking injury."
"I can't show you the technique as I no longer have chakra to use, but if you have questions I will gladly answer them." He looked saddened for a moment but quickly perked back up again. "Do you want to give it a try?" The white-haired man had a small smirk on his face.
"YEAH!" He answered. This must be how ninja gets around in the trees and on the rooftops. He always wondered how they did it. Excitedly, he closed his eyes and tried to feel his chakra. Since he only started learning he wasn't anywhere near good at accessing his reserves. Eventually, after a few minutes of searching, he felt the energy within him and tried to redirect his flow to his feet.
He put his foot to the tree and was immediately thrown back into the hard ground. "Ugh-"
He distinctly heard Sakumo laugh and felt embarrassed by his result. That didn't stop him from getting up again and glaring at the man. He sized up the tree again and focused his chakra into his feet. Sakumo explained earlier that too much chakra would cause him to lose control and fall off, so he tried to tone down what he directed to his feet.
Feeling more confident he tried again. He only managed to get 1 step before falling.
"You know you're doing pretty good for a first try." Sakumo said conversily. "I noticed you know what you are doing wrong and are trying to rectify it. You're a smart kid."
He just nodded barely listening and kept his eyes on the tree while moving his chakra within him around. While it's more challenging than he thought, he will not give up.
"Be careful not to overdo it Naruto. You don't want chakra exhaustion."
They were told about that in the academy when they started their chakra manipulating. It could potentially kill the user.
Keeping this in mind Naruto continued to try to step more than 1 step on the large tree. All while Sakumo watched on.

After a half-hour of attempting the exercise, Sakumo eventually left him alone. He told him he had to complete it before they continue with any plans they have. Eventually, he does tire out after another 30 minutes and lays down in the warm grass in the shade of the trees. There is a small breeze coming through the area that ruffles his hair lightly.
In the quiet Naruto's stomach growls breaking the relaxing spell he was is. Lifting his shirt slightly he can start to see his ribcage. He knows he hasn't been eating enough and it's beginning to take its toll. He feels drowsy but pushes himself up to his feet.
He started making his way out of the field when someone else was entering it. A man with a sebon in his mouth and a bandana on his head. He wore the standard green Jonin uniform and gave off the look of boredom. His eyes landed on Naruto and he stopped where he was. A blank looked overcame his features.
He didn't interrupt him as he left, but he could feel the lingering gaze at the back of his head.
line
He felt like he was being followed.
When he glanced behind him he thought he saw a shadow on the rooftops. If someone was following him they weren't trying to hide their presence.
What if it was the guy from the field? He was looking at him strangely as he left.
He didn't know who he was, but he probably knew Naruto. Since it seemed everyone did. He tried throughout the past couple of years to be quiet and remain under the radar.
He thought for the most part he had been successful as even the Hokage has forgotten about him in recent years. While he still gets glared at sometimes by villagers he mostly ignored.
Most act like he doesn't exist and continue on their way. He doesn't know whether he should be disappointed or happy.
In the corner of his eye he sees a shadow dart in an alleyway.
He keeps going forward ignoring anybody that he passes. He ducks his head down only seeing the ground in front of him.
He knows these roads quite well and makes the next turn unto a larger road. He hears whispers around him from the few people on the streets. He doesn't listen to them and presses forward.
Suddenly he starts to feel the familiar feelings of unnerving cold. He shivers a little and while still walking looks up from the ground. He walked right into a spirit and it realized he can see them.
Somewhere in the back of his mind he wishes Sakumo or even the Hokage were here with him.
He stops where he is completely frozen. His throat constricts and he finds it hard to breathe. Around him are the once strong and respectable clan.
About a dozen or so are lingering by a familiar building. The Konoha police station.
Those around are screaming at the building trying to get in, but for whatever reason unable to. Some are slamming their heads into the doors and walls trying to gain access. All of them were dressed in the police uniform
In front of him is a horrid and grisly-looking man. Tall squared shoulders and dark hair and where his eyes are meant to be; empty pits. There are pronounced lines on his face and his skin is chalk-like white defining his shallow face.
His arm is gone and blood continues to drip from the missing appendage. Red is splattered where he walks.
The needs to move and to leave this area. But his legs wouldn't go. He didn't think he see any of the dead Uchiha right away. He was wrong.
The spirit in front of him gave off the feeling of hatred so strong he felt his toes curl and his head felt heavy. He wobbled where he stood. The ghost lowered its head close to his eye level and at first only stared.
Finally it opened its mouth full of dripping blood and gave a piercing screech.
Around him the others notice his presence and ability to see them they started coming towards him speaking. "Unfair, I want my life back. The Warmongers fault! Unfair!" They were chanting repeatedly to him.
They all continued to scream at him. The noise is unbearable and he put his hand on his ears and dropped down in the dirt silently whining. Their anger and hate fill the street. He starts to see black spots dot his vision.
"Shut up!" He dimly notices that it's his voice yelling. Some of the villagers are holding their hands over their mouths frozen in fear and some have even run away.
The last thing he remembers is a shadow dropping behind him and gently lifting his body as darkness overtakes him.
line
When he wakes up he is in a cold room with white walls. He's laying down on a slightly uncomfortable bed and slowly sits himself up. Now with a better view of the room, he sees medical equipment and two doors.
The open one is a bathroom while the other he's guessing is the exit.
He knows he's in the hospital, but he doesn't think he is injured. Why is he here? His mind is foggy from sleep and his brain hasn't quite caught up to recent memories.
It takes a few minutes but then he remembers what happened in the streets however long ago that was.
images of blood and screaming men and women hurtle into his mind. He feels sick and darts for the bathroom barely making it before releasing the bile making its way up. The acid in his throat causes tears to prickle in his eyes and the smell coming from him makes him gag more.
Behind him he hears the sound of the other door opening and closing. He continues to gag and clenches the toilet like a lifeline. He has never felt so sick before. Not even the ghost in his apartment or the old lady made him feel this way.
Eventually after another minute or two he feels like he's able to pick himself from the floor. He flushes the toilet and washes his mouth and hands.
Opening the slightly ajar door of the bathroom he sees on his bed the Hokage.
He looks tired like he hasn't slept in days. When he looks at Naruto it's in sadness.
"Old Man?"
The Hokage smiles at him, but even he can tell it's fake.
"Hello Naruto-Kun. How are you feeling? Better I hope than a minute ago."
He grimaces at the reminder and clears his throat. He walks to the bed and crawls in all while keeping his eyes on the Hokage.
"Eh-could be better." He figures it's better, to be honest about the fact. He really feels horrible and knows the old man would know if he was lying.
He nods his head slightly. "I see. Do you know why you're here in the hospital Naruto-Kun?"
He jolts in surprise and looks away from the all too curious eyes. He knows he's being too obvious in his reactions, but he can't help it. Nervousness comes over him. Part of him wants to explain what's going on to the one person he trusts, but the other part of him refuses to do so.
What would happen if he was honest about seeing things? Would he believe him or not? Deep inside of him in a voice that almost didn't sound like him was saying, no. Not to trust anyone.
He didn't say anything.
The man beside him sighed and put his hand on his leg. "Naruto, what happened? I need you to tell me."
"Everything was so loud." He began his lie while his heart constricted. "My ears hurt and all the whispers were too much." Tears were openly coming down his face. The tears weren't fake. "I just wanted everything to stop."
The aging man was silent for a minute and searching his face for something. eventually, he put his hand on top of his head to comfort him.
"Naruto, I have one last question for you. I need you to be completely honest with me, okay? You won't be in trouble I promise you."
"What?" He questioned.
He took his hand off his head and put it in his lap. "Are you hearing a voice in your head Naruto-Kun?"
He paled slightly and turned his head down so he couldn't see. He shook his head vigorously. Did he know? How did he know? This is only new to him in the past several weeks. Unless he is talking about something else.
His heart was pumping face and his hands clenched on his lap. He's been silent too long and could feel the tense stare from the man beside him.
Schooling his features he looks back up. "No Jiji! I told you everything was too loud. I was hearing all the villagers. It hurt!"
"Ah-right, yes you did. Thank you Naruto-kun for being honest with me." The whither old man smiled at him and his skin crinkle at his eyes. He again patted his head and with a grunt got up.
"I checked you out already so you're free to go home Naruto-Kun. First, on your way out there is a man that would like to speak to you. I hope to see you soon, Naruto-Kun."
He tilted his head to the side and nodded to satisfy the Hokage. With that, the leader of the village left silently closing the door behind him.
Getting up himself he opened the door and poked his head in the hallway. He glanced to his left and saw a nurse with a clipboard in hand hurrying off to who knows and a ghost still in in the robes they hand out sitting in a wheelchair. To his right is a man in a Jonin uniform and a sebon needle in his mouth. He looks right at him.
Oh that was probably the guy following him from the training field. He narrows his eyes at him and watches as the man flinches a little.
The guy gestures with his hand to come closer. He does so slowly. He guesses he is not a bad guy or else the Hokage wouldn't let him talk to him.
"Eh-runt! I wanted to apologize for earlier today." He rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. "Didn't mean to make you so nervous. I noticed you could tell I was trailing you."
He glares at him again for the runt joke and crosses his arms. "Why were you following me anyway?"
"Well, I was worried about you is all." He muttered this but Naruto heard it still. He was shocked he doesn't even know this guy and he was worried about him. Why?
He didn't have to ask cause the guy answers for him. "You don't look too good kid. You look like if someone spits on you, you fall over. Gosh, are you even eating? You're skin and bones!" He mutters other things that he can't hear.
His mouth is agape and he asks only one question?
"Why do you care?" He interrupts the muttering man.
The man flinches again and doesn't speak for a second. He was tempted to just leave before he could give an answer.
The stranger just likes to surprise him. "Because nobody should be starving in the village and treated like how you are."
He ducks his head fast before he could see his tears. He doesn't seem to be lying. Suddenly he feels pressure on his head and the gentle ruffling of his hair. He looks up and stares at the guy.
"Ah!" He starts off nervously. "I heard around that you like ramen, I can treat you to some?" It sounds more like a question and Naruto is reminded of the last time he's had any ramen and salivates at the thought. Too long!
He's shaking his head yes of having free ramen and seeing the two vendors who are no doubt worried about his lack of presence for the past couple of weeks.
The sebon user grins at him and gestures the way to the hospital doors. "You lead the way?"
He was basically tripping his way out the door when the guy stopped him.
"Completely forgot to introduce myself. I'm Genma."
He smiles for the first time in hours. "Naruto Uzumaki, Let's get ramen now!
Leaving the hospital into the now dark hour he almost forgets about what transpired today...Almost.

A little while later with a full stomach and more rested than he felt in weeks he enters his apartment. The lights are still off and the presence of his haunter still lingering. He just throws off his shoes and scrambles into bed and flings his blanket over the top of his head.
He hears the creaking of footsteps but doesn't move from his spot. Eventually, after a few hours, he blissfully falls asleep.
line
Somewhere deep and surrounded by darkness a shadow moved. There was an unnatural quiet that felt ominous, that if he moved the thing would hear him. The shadows crept closer to him and he felt for the first time in many years; nervous. It came to the bars and looked up at the large seal. Slowly it extended its hand onto the metal and shook it venomously. The bars of the cage rattled, the sound piercing the quiet that plagued his prison. The metal didn't budge, it stayed strong. Whatever it was It couldn't get in. He slinked further away from the bars and tucked into himself a ball watching the shadow.
The thing, for that is what it is stared at him. He could only make out the shape of the shadow. Against the backdrop of the dark, it was blacker. Its shape looked human, but it wasn't. Not with eyes like that. Too bright electric blue with yellow pupils looked back at him unblinking.
Suddenly it started to back up to where he couldn't make out its shape. Only those blue eyes remained. Until even he couldn't even see those. He was left alone.
For now.
Before being overcome from fatigue he had one thought.
"Naruto, what have you brought down here?"
