EPISODE 11: ANIMALS ASSEMBLE!
(Adapted from "Big Animal Gathering")
After a 30 second recap of the last episode, which has quite a bit to pack in but still gets down the main points across quickly, we pick up where we left off. Harris, our mysterious reoccurring Zooman, kneeling next to Benny, who's now completely unmorphed; injured with tons of bruises and a few cuts.
Benny: (straining himself) …You saved me again…Just like that night.
Harris: I know you probably have a lot on your mind, but…(looks up) now's not the time.
Benny looks up as well before we cut to one of Huntroid's arms, still channeling energy in between its "fingers", only for the energy…to disappear. And then…Huntroid lowers its arms only for the red lights on its "face" to vanish as well. Huntroid has finally powered down. Our heroes finally have a chance to breathe…To an extent.
Caleb: (in pain/looking up) Huh?...W-What's it doing?
Jackie: (straining) Is it…stopping?
Sylvia: (in pain) I-I think so.
Winston: (straining/getting up) I think that (winces) final attack used up all its energy! (winces) Ow.
Then, we quickly cut up to the Arrow Galion.
Blockhead: Jokes on them. Huntroid will be back on soon.
Insidion: Indeed. And once it reactivates, it will destroy them without question.
Sagittar: (chuckles) The best part of hunts…is drawing them out.
Back on Earth, the others start to get up.
Caleb: (straining) C-Come on lads! We gotta move while we can!
Jackie: (as he helps her up) R-Right. (winces)
Winston: (helping Sylvia up) I got you.
Sylvia: (winces) Thank you. W-We gotta get back to the Sanctum. (whips out her Morpher)
Cutting back over to the bird rangers…
Benny: (straining) It stopped. I have to attack while it's—UGH. Ow.
Harris: You've done enough…We're taking you home.
Benny: B-But Harris, I—
Harris: No buts, you're going home!
Benny: The team!
Harris: I'm sure they'll meet you in the Sanctum, but for now there's no time.
The Birdman quickly grabs Benny's Morpher off the ground, lightly grabs Benny's shoulder, and says "Doubutsu".
With that, the two teleport out.
Hard cutting down to the Sanctum, we see the rest of the team teleport in. Because of their injuries, they just barely stay standing after finishing the teleport.
Winston: (groans) Well!… That sucked!
Jackie: Yeah, no need to tell us twice, dude.
Suddenly, the elevator door to the Sanctum opens up, and out steps Martha, who runs up to her team with a surprised but relieved look.
Martha: There you all are. Ugh, jeez, you look terrible, I'm…I'm so sorry this happened to you.
Caleb: No problem, boss.
Sylvia: We're just glad to be back.
Martha: Me too. I…W-Wait, where's Benny?
Winston: Benny? Oh, he's right—(eyes widen) Wait, where the…!?
Caleb: He's not here?
Jackie: I-I thought he landed right near us.
Martha: You mean my son is still out there with that giant robot thing in the city!?
Sylvia: D-Don't worry, Martha. I'm sure he'll be teleporting down any second now.
The team then hears a teleportation sound behind them, and all collectively let out a sigh of relief. But once they turn around to face the red ranger…their eyes widen and jaws slightly drop with surprise upon seeing Benny, still alive but injured from the attack, being helped forward by Harris.
Harris: Uh…(coughs) H-Hello, Zoo-Keepers.
Caleb: NOW WAY.
Winston: It can't be.
Martha: Harris?...(shakes her head) Benny!
Benny: H-Hey, mom-Gah!
She immediately runs up to her son and pulls him into a hug, which naturally causes him a bit of discomfort.
Martha: (hugging him) Oh thank goodness you're back safe!
Benny: Augh! M-Mom! Not so hard!
Martha: (lets off a little) Oh, jeez, I'm sorry. I…I should have never let you go out there.
As she says the second sentence of that dialog/checks on him a little, Harris backs a few steps away, only to notice the rest of the team, who are looking at him with some pretty understandable curiosity and confusion. He opens his mouth like he's about to speak, but 3 seconds of silence go by before he just exhales and grabs his Keeper Cube.
Benny: H-Harris?
Harris: Doubutsu.
Benny: Harris, wait!
But the moment this is said, the Birdman has already teleported out with nothing, but 3 feathers left fluttering to the ground.
Martha: …(shakes her head) Come on. Let's get you all patched up.
The team and Martha start to slowly move toward the elevator, say for Sylvia who walks up to the spot where Harris teleported from, slowly kneels, and grabs one of the previously mentioned 3 feathers. She looks at it in her right hand, a puzzled look forming on her bruised face.
Cue Theme Song (1 Minute)
We cut up to the Washi Residence about 15 minutes later. And the shot we come back to is a surprise to be sure as we see the zords, sitting out on the kitchen table, except they're sparking green electricity, and almost look turned to rock. The camera panning back to reveal the team, minus Winston sitting around them with worried looks.
Sylvia: What did that beam do to them?
Jackie: I don't know. But whatever happened, they're in no shape to fight right now.
Caleb: Ugh, of course. Right when we have the perfect opportunity to attack, our best defense method is too damaged!
Benny says nothing when the shot cuts to him.
Instead, he just sits there looking down with a very upset stare.
The camera then cuts to Martha, leaning on a nearby wall as Winston hangs up his phone.
Winston: The girls are safe inside the Elephant House.
Martha: Okay. Good…I'm sorry about all this.
Winston: It's okay. It's not your fault.
Caleb: We've got to think of something and think of something fast!
Jackie: I agree, but what can we do without the zords? It'll be impossible to fight Huntroid like this.
Sylvia: (ponders something) …I think I have an idea. It's a long shot, but…it could work.
Winston: What do you think, Syl?
She then reaches into her pocket and grabs the feather.
Sylvia: Just a little something from Harris.
Benny: (tom himself) Harris?
Jackie: What are you thinking?
Sylvia: I say we use Winton's sense of smell to track him down and see if he knows anything about how to fix the zords.
Martha: Hmm. He would probably have more knowledge on this than us.
Caleb: Anything sounds good to me right now.
Winston: Might as well go for it, right?
Jackie: I can dig it.
Benny: GOOD. (stands up) Let's get out there and find him.
Jackie: (notices his tone) …Benny are you okay?
Benny: I'm fine. But I'll feel a whole lot better when I find Harris and get his help so we can get some revenge on the robot for doing this to our zords.
He starts to walk out of the kitchen, wincing a little from his bruises, but then…
Martha: B-Benny, wait! (stops him)
Benny: Make it quick mom, I have to go.
Martha: No, you don't. You're in no position to fight. Let the others do it.
Benny: That robot hurt my zords! I'm gonna get some payback!
Martha: I won't let you get it at the cost of your life!
Benny: The city is at stake! I'm going too!
Martha: But what if you get hurt again!?
Benny: I've been hurt before in fights, and you didn't seem to care as much as you do now!
Martha: Except I did, Benny! I have been concerned about you ever since you became a Red Ranger! I have been worried sick about you going out there, and I only acted nice about it around you because I knew how much this made you happy!…B-But now, fights have been getting worse! My teammates have been forced to fight each other, the city was almost EATEN last week by a giant plant monster, you got so hurt by some blue block monster that you had to be healed by a Gorilla Zooman of all people, and now this Hunter droid thing and that force field earlier, I mean…Benny, this is insanely dangerous now!
Benny: Oh yeah!? W-Well then why not take them out of the fight!? There've been other ranger teams so why not call one of them!?
Martha: I only have so many contacts! Besides, the team has done some training!
Benny: I've had some FIELD training with monsters!
Martha: Yes, but not enough of the training I'm referring to!
Benny: Yeah!? And who's fault is that mom!? Oh, wait! I know! The one who made it so I could only train in the Sanctum with "parental supervision"!
Martha: Because I don't want you hurting yourself with something you don't understand!
Benny: I only don't understand because you kept me in the dark about this for years!
Jackie: Uh, could we maybe have a say in this—
Martha: Not now, Jackie. Benny, you're staying here!
Benny: No! I'm not quitting this!
Martha: Well, what if I want you to quit!?
This makes his eyes widen and step back for a second, as well as getting back the attention of everyone, who was trying to stay out of it.
Benny: …You…you want me to…you WANT me to quit?...Is…is that what you wanted to tell me earlier?
Martha: …Y-Yes. It was. And I…I do want you to quit!
Benny: (now sounding sadder) But why!?
Martha: For your safety! I kept this from you because I never wanted you getting hurt!
Benny: But mom, I've proven myself as a ranger, I can…I can do this!
Martha: Maybe, but not forever! And I won't let you learn that the hard way like your dad did!
Benny: OH no! Don't bring dad into this like you cared about him! After all, you're the one who divorced him before he vanished!
Martha: UGH, God dang it, Benny, why can't you go just this one time back to being a jobless coward!?
That one does. That insult makes everything go silent.
Benny's angry face snaps. His frown forms in seconds as his eyes get teary.
And Martha realizes she went too far. Her expression quickly softens into one of concern.
Martha: …B-Benny, I didn't mean to, I…
Benny: No…You're right, mom…I-I deserve that one.
He's clearly on the verge of breaking down in tears, so before another word comes out, he speedwalks into his room, and slams the bedroom door shut.
Sylvia: …M-Martha?...Are you okay, hon?
Martha: …No…(sighs) Could just…go look for Harris, or…at least leave me alone?
She doesn't even look at them and says this sorrow in her voice.
Winston: …C-Come on, guys. Let's go.
We then get a wide shot with the team on one side and Martha standing still. The team nods and walks toward the front door while Martha keeps standing there and looking toward the other room as a few tears can be seen flowing down from her eyes. Martha then starts to cry a little loud…before the camera cuts to another shot of the zords still out on the table. And once we see the zords…a rainbow effect quickly flashes around at least one part of their bodies each, simultaneously. The frozen rock look…vanishing.
But we're not quite done with the Washi Residence yet, as we cut to one brief scene in Benny's room.
The young red ranger leans while laying back against his bedroom door.
He tries to hold back tears…but then some start to flow. He buries his face into his knees and starts whimpering to himself.
Benny: (raises his head) I…(sniffs) I-I didn't mean it, dad, I…
He's unable to finish the sentence and simply buries his head back into his legs.
Cut to the forest near the zoo; text appearing at the bottom of the screen that says "1 ½ Hour Later". We see Harris' feet take 4 steps forward across the grass and leaf-coated floor before stopping, jolting his head up, and quickly around while whipping out a Feather Shredder (in other words, a second Eagle Shredder exists).
Harris: Who's there?…Huh?
The camera then cuts to reveal the team emerging from the woods.
Jackie: Finally. We've been searching all over for you.
Harris: Zoo-Keepers?...How did you find me?
Winston: With this feather that you left in the Sanctum thanks to your teleporting, and the elephant scent my Keeper Cube gave me.
Harris: Ah….I see. Why are you here?
Caleb: We need your help.
Sylvia: Our zords were damaged by that robot in the city. They look like they're turning to stone.
Harris: What? Really?
Jackie: Yes. Do you have any idea how to fix them?
Harris: Hmm…If what I remember on zord studies is correct, your Cubimals are simply in a healing state. You just need to give them some time.
Winston: Are you sure?
Harris: I think so.
Caleb: …But…we don't have time. Huntroid is in the city right now. We need to stop it while it's deactivated!
Harris: Exactly. So, stop wasting your precious time on me.
Winston: W-Wait. That's not all though. Huntroid was able to defeat both of our Megazords...How do we know it'll work out this time?
Jackie: Yeah. And that's assuming the zords are healed up in time.
Harris: Just try again with your combinations. I'm sure you can work something out.
Caleb: Lad, we can't trust that! Come on, there has to be some quicker way you can get our zords healed.
Harris: I'm sorry, but there isn't. Now LEAVE.
Sylvia: Wait a second…Goriz showed us that Zoomans can transfer energy between living beings, as long as they have…a Keeper Cube.
Harris: …(catches on) OH no. Don't even think about it!
He says this while backing up with a step or two and putting his Keeper Cube in a shirt pocket.
Winston: We need a fast way to heal the zords.
Harris: And this won't do it!
Caleb: Well, we have to try something! And even if it doesn't work, you should be there to fight with us!
Harris: Look, the last time I was a ranger, it ended in tragedy. I only hold onto this Keeper Cube for the sake of keeping it far away from the other 5, and even then, most of my power was given to Benny, so I might not be able to fully transform into a ranger anymore. I'm sorry, but I'm done fighting battles.
Jackie: Wait, you used to be a ranger!?
Harris: …Y-Yes. But it was a long time ago, and I put it all behind me.
Sylvia: Then why give us the Giraffe and Mole zords!? (this confuses everyone) Oh come on, it was kind of obvious! Two mysterious Zooman relics he and Martha searched a long time for showing up in New Zealand around the same time we become rangers, despite them being in KENYA and CANADA? Pretty convenient, isn't it?
Harris: (sighs) You're right. I brought them here. But finding zords and fighting are very different.
Caleb: But either way, you've helped us!
Winston: Exactly. Look, even if you don't wanna fight with us, we may need your Keeper Cube to heal our zords and save our city. Hand it over!
Harris: No! I'm not just gonna break my promise, even for you!
But before we can see the rest of this conversation…we cut to downtown Dolphin Coast. And the shot we cut to…is a shot of Huntroid's "facial features" lighting back up red, before showing it lift its arms. It's back online. As it starts to walk forward, we get a wide shot of a cameraman and a female news reporter off to the side covering this breaking event while Huntroid moves in the background near some skyscrapers.
Female Reporter: It appears our fears of this mysterious giant robot's power down being temporary have come true.
We get one more shot of Huntroid moving forward, but then we cut away…back to the Washi Residence. As the reporter keeps talking, we get a shot of Huntroid from the tv, before cutting to Martha sitting on her sofa, watching the news with great concern, and having a worried expression. Then, right as the reporter finishes the dialog below…
Female Reporter: It's expected to repeat a similar pattern as before. To any citizens still in the city limits, PLEASE evacuate.
Martha: (stands up out of her sofa) What am I doing?
She quickly runs toward the front of the house, but before she turns to Benny's room, she hears something to her left….An Eagle noise…Quickly turning toward her kitchen, she gasps with surprise to see that Harris was right. The zords have healed and are now hopping off the table toward Martha.
Martha: Hahaha, yes! You're all better! (gasps) Oh, oh, oh, quick! Come on!
She then quickly runs up to her front door and opens it up.
Martha: Eagle and Gorilla? You stay with me. The rest of you go find the others. Benny will meet you downtown!
The zords fly out the door, heading in the direction of the woods near the zoo before we cut a few seconds later to Martha knocking on Benny's door with the Bald Eagle and Mountain Gorilla zords on her shoulders.
Martha: Benny!? Huntroid is back online! But the zords are ready!... Benny!?
She then opens the door…and is surprised that it's unlocked.
And once the door is opened all the way, she lets out a shocked gasp. Benny…is gone.
Martha: But…H-How did he…Oh no! He still had his Morpher! He must have teleported downtown. Quick! You two need to find him!
The two Cubimals nod in response while each making a concerning noise.
We then hard cut to downtown.
Huntroid has come to a stop, but that likely won't be for long as it lifts its arms like it's flexing them or something before we cut down to find Midaria.
Midaria: (sighs) Finally. Let's just get this over with.
Benny: Enough!
Midaria: Huh?
The lady in green turns around to see Benny walking up in slow motion for about 4 seconds.
Midaria: R-Red Ranger? Why are you here alone?
Benny: I'll admit. I didn't expect to be here by myself either.
He then opens up his Morpher and presses the right buttons before the camera briefly cuts to Huntroid, turning to its right.
Benny: But at least my friends won't get hurt again! (closes his Morpher) It's Morphing Time! Zoo Mode Go!
Naturally, this is said as he spins the top and then charges forward.
Once again, running in some slight slow motion, he lets out somewhat of a battle cry as the hollow cube energy from the Morphing sequences close down on him and quick changes him into the Red Eagle Ranger; the camera the shot then going back to normal speed as Benny keeps running toward Huntroid, and passing Midaria while saying…
Benny: Let's finish this!
But after he quickly runs past her…
Midaria: You're lucky Sagittar likes drawing out hunts. Amoebanoids!
She says this of course while pulling out some silver coins and then throwing them into the air. The Elk noised grunts form and fall from the sky onto the ground immediately getting in Benny's way and forcing him to roll back for a second. He then gets back up on his feet and runs forward, trying to dodge the grunt's blades, but they start to gang up on him and hold him back.
Benny: GET OFF!
He then punches and pushes the 4 Amoebanoids holding onto him aside, even flipping the last one behind him onto the ground.
Benny: PRIMAL POWER!
With a wave of his arms and the glow of his suit's eyes, Benny quick-summons his wings and performs and dashes forward with an Eagle Fire Flash that just blasts right through the dozen or so Amoebanoids ahead of him. He then flies upward toward Huntroid, which is now looking down at him, while yelling out…
Benny: Let's see how you like me all fired up!
Cut back to the others in the forest, still arguing a bit with Harris.
Jackie: Dude, we NEED that cube!
Harris: NO. You already have everything you need! Now leave before that robot reactivates!
He says this while turning around and crossing his arms…
…but a new sound makes him turn back around…to see Caleb, Jackie, and Winston…with their Morphers out and open.
Sylvia: Sorry, Harris. (pulls out her Morpher)
Harris: What!? Wait, hold on—
Winston: No! We can't wait any longer! Our city, my family, our zoo, and the world could be in danger! Either let us take the cube or come with us to fight!
Harris: N-No stop! I don't wanna fight you!
Caleb: Then you should've made your choice while we were patient! Ready!?
Jackie, Winston, and Sylvia: Ready!
Harris: No, stop! (said as they close their Morphers)
The Rangers: Zoo Mode Go!
They spin the tops while saying this and start to instamorph.
But right as they do, Harris pulls back out his Feather Shredder, which is already in whip form.
Harris: I SAID STOP!
The team then finishes morphing and a fight begins. Harris lassos Caleb's torso, but he just grabs onto the chain blade and pulls Harris forward. The Birdman keeps holding onto the blade as Jackie and Sylvia try to kick at him, but he rolls a few feet away with the blade getting unhooked from Caleb as he does. Winston catches him off guard as he stands back up, landing a kick that pushes him back. Immediately after, Caleb then tackles him onto the ground as Sylvia leaps over to them. Harris kicks Caleb off and dodges Sylvia's attempt to pounce on him with a roll before Winston tries to slam his fist on him, but Harris pushes him back too with his arms, still holding his sword.
Now we cut back over to Benny.
While diving down out of the sky, he lets out a quick yell and zooms down toward Huntroid with a fiery look to his suit appearing (likely a result of the Fire Flash and being more enraged in Primal Power mode). He quickly flies around Huntroid for a few seconds, hitting him maybe once or twice but only making a few sparks fly, and dodges the robot's arms as they move up and down to try swatting him.
Benny: (backs away for a moment) Bring it on!
With a wave of his wings and another dive bomb, Benny keeps circling Huntroid, and doing so at least 3 times, his suit looking fierier as he does.
Back over to the others…
The Rangers: Primal Power!
They say this quickly while growing their suit upgrades in greenscreen footage.
Winston: Elephant Earthquake!
Harris: Honnou Kakusei!
The Birdman yells this out while using his wings to fly backward and away from Winston's attack as it gets sent out. Right as he lands on his feet, Sylvia pounces onto his back, forcing Harris to roll them onto the ground to shake her off of him. Once again, he stands up, only to be attacked. Keep in mind by the way that these next 3 are done in one shot and without any Sentai greenscreen environment footage.
Jackie: Shark Spin Dash! (said as she strikes him)
Sylvia: Tigress Snow Strike! (said while throwing energy claws)
Caleb: Lion Lightning! (said as he slashes and kicks Harris back)
This kick from Caleb sends Harris flying back several feet. He lands flat on his back but then slowly gets up as the team regroups, and he talks to himself.
Harris: W-Wait. If they got Primal Power to work, t-then maybe they could—
Caleb: Lion Lightning!
This time, it's done with the greenscreen footage.
Harris stands firm despite the attack just sent at him, even trying to take it and push back against it with his arms, but it's incredibly short-lived because the attack just sends him flying back again…only this time…the Keeper Cube flies out of a pocket in his clothing as he does, making the others gasp.
Winston: T-The Keeper Cube!
Back downtown, Midaria is still on the ground watching Benny's weak attack on Huntroid.
Midaria: I hope the others are enjoying this more than I am.
Benny performs another Eagle Fire Flash, flying past a few buildings, between Huntroid's massive legs, and then turning around to fly straight toward the mechanical monster, but then…Huntroid raises its left arm and smacks Benny so hard, not only does it look like feathers come off him and a mini-explosion comes from his suit, but it sends him crashing through a skyscraper and onto the top of another building as he yells out in pain with a landing so rough it causes an explosion upon impact.
Back over to the team again, the Keeper Cube lands on the leafy forest floor.
But after a quick wide shot of it in the center, Harris on his side to the left of the screen, and the team starting to run toward it…they hear the explosion from a few seconds ago caused by Benny's impact and look to their lefts. Harris also looks up in confusion before the camera cuts to a shot of the city visible through some nearby trees allowing them to see the explosion, some fire, Dolphin Coast, and a reactivated Huntroid.
Sylvia: Huntroid!?
Jackie: H-How did I not hear it reactivate!?
Fortunately, another noise is heard from above, and quickly floating down as they look up comes their Cubimals.
Caleb: (gasps) The zords! They're fully healed!?
Winston: (as the zords land in their hands) Harris wasn't lying…W-We gotta get downtown!
But before they start to run…
Harris: W-Wait!
This makes them stop and look back.
Harris: Saying Primal Power when you do a Final Strike might give you a boost!… A-And as for your zords, try something new!… Something BIGGER.
The last part is said as the team looks at each other confused.
Back in Dolphin Coast, things are looking grim.
We see the camera pan past large chunks of rock and burning debris as Benny tries getting back up as quickly as he possibly can.
Benny: (straining/getting up) I-I'm not done yet!...N-Not until you're destroyed!
He says the second sentence while pulling out/opening his Morpher and quickly pressing the red and 6 buttons.
Benny: Zoo Mode Go!
With that, he quickly turns the top and instamorphs into the Red Gorilla Ranger, except this time, he has the Eagle Shredder in his right hand and quickly lassos it right around Huntroid's right hand. The robot pulls its arm back, which pulls Benny off of the ground, which seems to be the plan because as Benny flies upward, he charges up a massive punch with his fist. It's gonna be close as fiery effects appear around his clenched glove, but…
Benny: GORILLA SLAM—(gets smacked by Huntroid)
…with another surprised yell and groan, Benny is sent flying into another skyscraper. Fortunately, he doesn't crash through it, but unfortunately, he hits it hard enough to cause some large cracks on the windows and brick before falling to the ground and unwillingly demorphing.
Midaria: Ouch. Well now that that's over with, we can wrap this up.
Back over to Benny, he's now looking worse for wear, but despite this, he still tries to stand back up.
Benny: (winces) N-No…(starts to stand) I-I have to fight...The others are counting on me, and…(falls back down) I-I have to apologize to mom!
Caleb: Lad! What are you doing!?
The music cuts out…and the red ranger looks to his right…which makes his face light up.
Running up nearby in slow motion is the rest of his team.
Benny: G-Guys! You came back!?
Jackie: (as they run up to him) What were you thinking, moron?!
Sylvia: That was stupid reckless, amigo! (said as Jackie and Winston help him up)
Benny: I-I'm sorry, I…wait. What about—
Winston: Harris gave us the info we needed. The zords are fully healed now and we just gotta try again.
Benny: Wait, they are!?
Jackie: I wish we could say the same thing about you!
Caleb: Exactly! I mean, a part of me respects you for this, but…come on lad!
Sylvia: We're in this together.
Winston: So please fight with us this time.
Benny: …(smiles) A-Alright. Yeah!
Jackie: By the way, Harris said to try saying Primal Power with our Final Strike….Let's see what it does.
Benny: …Whatever keeps us animalistic, right? (the team nods) Ready!?
The Others: Ready!
Now with their attention turned back to Huntroid, who thanks to the reflection in the building windows we now know is looking at them, they quickly whip out their Morphers and press their transformation buttons.
The Rangers: It's Morphing Time! Zoo! Mode! Go!
You know the drill by now. The team spins their Morpher tops as they say those 3 words, wave their arms to the side as hollow cubic looking energy appears around them before lifting their arms into the air, and quickly changing into their suits with colored flashes of light. And now, for the theme song accompanying greenscreen roll-call!
Benny: Keeper of the Sky! Red Eagle Ranger!
Jackie: Keeper of the Ocean! Blue Shark Ranger!
Caleb: Keeper of the Savannah! Yellow Lion Ranger!
Winston: Keeper of the Forest! Green Elephant Ranger!
Sylvia: Keeper of the Tundra! White Tigress Ranger!
Benny: (pulls out his Eagle Shredder) POWER RANGERS… (whips it around in greenscreen Sentai footage)
The Rangers: …Zoo-Keepers! (cue sentai footage team pose)
And after a brief shot of Midaria letting out a surprised gasp at the sight of the team...
Benny: If you go ballistic…
The Rangers: …we go animalistic!
They say this while everyone except Benny pulls out their Savage Blasters. Back over to Huntroid, it spreads its arms out and blasts a large red energy beam from its chest, which causes a big explosion that obscures the team in fire…but is short-lived because A: the team dodged in time, and B: as the flames clear up a little bit, we see Benny standing there holding the Eagle Shredder, before quickly whipping it forward and wrapping it around one of Huntroid's legs.
He pulls back on the blade to make sure he has a good grip while shouting out "Now!" and then, the team aims their blasters.
As they do this, visual effects are added to give their blasters and their suit's eye detailing a color-coordinated glows while the team focuses and yells out…
Jackie: (as she aims) PRIMAL…!
Caleb: (as he aims) PRIMAL…!
Winston: (as he aims) PRIMAL…!
Sylvia: (as she aims) PRIMAL…!
Then, after one more shot of Huntroid looking confused…they fire!
Jackie, Caleb, Winston, and Sylvia: …POWER!
4 massive orange Savage Blaster shots are fired right into Huntroid's chest, which catches it off guard.
Benny: PRIMAL POWER!
While saying this, he yanks on his now fiery-looking Eagle Shredder so hard…that it trips Huntroid and makes him fall flat onto his back with a loud thud!
Midaria: WHAT!?
Benny: Let's finish this!
The Others: Right!
They say this while pulling out their zords.
The Rangers: Cubimals Go!
Once in their hands, they lift their zords into the air, and they of course grow giant, only this time, we're going to include something that up until now I've been cutting from the Megazord fights, and that's this greenscreen rainbow footage of the zord's as they turn big. Think of it as a special occasion and sign that they are far stronger now.
Huntroid stands back up on its feet, causing a lot of debris smoke to rise as it does before we cut to the zords charging forward.
Benny: Let's hope Harris is right about trying again.
The Others: Agreed!
Benny: This one's for you, mom!
He opens up his Morpher, but right as he does…the camera shows that all 6 buttons…are GLOWING.
Jackie: (looking at her open Morpher) No way!
We then cut back outside the Megazord…to see all 6 fire squares form in the sky at once!
Sylvia: Is that what I think it is!?
Benny: Whatever it is, it's now or never!
The Others: Right!
The Rangers: Megazord activate!
Benny then presses the big blue button on his Morpher. Then 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 individually. The camera then cuts back out to show two smaller squares of fire appear on the side, implying that the Giraffe and Mole zords can join with the other Cubimals as well.
Benny: (gasps) Let's go!
He closes the Morpher top. Spins it to the blue side. And with that, the Bald Eagle, Reef Shark, African Lion, Pygmy Elephant, Siberian Tiger, Mountain Gorilla, Reticulated Giraffe, and Star-Nosed Mole zords all go through the rings at the same time, before going cubic in an awesome 8 split screenshot. They spin around in the air while moving forward before getting into their needed position. Once that's done the stacking starts.
The elephant zord goes on the bottom. The lion zord goes on top of it. Then the shark zord lands on the two of them followed by the tiger zord landing on top of all three of them, only for the Eagle and Gorilla zords to connect to the sides of the Tiger zord, looking like giant shoulders before the giant pole that gives the Zoo King Megazord its head and sword appears and heads towards its destination while this stack of Cubimals turns into place. The pole goes into the Megazord's center as the golden canon that comes with the Gorilla zord folds up and locks onto the Tiger zord and becomes a chest. One arm from the Eagle zord and another from the Gorilla zord fold out before we see the Giraffe and Mole zords slightly unfold and connect to the mech's legs. Finally, the sword in the head rotates to reveal the face of this mighty machine as the Congo Cannon from the Wild Kong Megazord opens up down the middle, and latches on as these almost golden antlers or horns.
The Rangers: Zooman Fusion Megazord! (Adapted from "Wild Zyuoh King")
Cue a beautiful sentai shot of the zord lowering its arms into a ready position while standing on a landscape of large, detailed cubes.
Midaria: How on Earth!?
We then cut to a shot of the new Megazord from the ground as dirt erupts off it like an active volcano.
Benny: Awesome!
Caleb: Talk about a MEGA-zord!
Back over to Huntroid, it's now back on its feet and turned its attention to the team. It rotates its arms and charges up an energy strike, and blasting three massive green beams at once toward this mighty mechanical amalgamation of animals. But the new Megazord doesn't even care. It just walks forward as explosions appear around it. Now, one thing I would like to note is that in the Sentai footage, we don't see any beam effects as these explosions go off, so in this case, the footage is edited to make it look like at least one beam is firing directly into the Megazord's chest, but just isn't affecting it at all.
Jackie: It's taking the attack like a boss!
Winston: Yeah! Almost like it's absorbing the energy!
Benny: Right…Let's knock it down!
The Megazord keeps walking forward, still taking the added in beam effect as a few explosions occur around it before the beam fades. The team then spins their Command Cubes all at once, and with a reach forward, the Zooman Fusion Megazord punches straight into Huntroid's right shoulder. Then it lands another on its left shoulder. Then it raises its left hand as even more dirt erupts off of it before the team spins their Command Cubes once more and lands a solid punch that makes the killer robot step back.
Caleb: Consider this our revenge!
Sylvia: Double megazord power is increíble!
But then, Huntroid starts to charge up another destructive green energy blast from its chest and arms.
Jackie: OKAY, finisher time! (said as he pulls out her Morpher)
Caleb: It's time for full force! (pulls out his Morpher)
Winston: Chaguo Moja...Mabadiliko Kubwa! (pulls out his Morpher)
Sylvia: These rangers aren't gonna give up! (said as she pulls out her Morpher)
Benny: (grabs his Morpher) This is what happens when you mess with the Zoo-Keepers!
They all turn their Morphers back to the animal side and plug them back into their Command Cubes. And with that, we cut to the Zooman Fusion Megazord, standing in front of some green screen footage as the cubes around it start to levitate off the ground and glow, and its chest starts to charge up some blocky looking red energy.
The Rangers: Wild Zooman Final…Strike!
Naturally, energy pours over them as they yell this out, and with more simultaneous spin from the team, the Zooman Fusion Megazord launches a final attack from its chest that looks like all the zords being launched our at once, maybe even the animal spirits inside the Keeper Cubes, letting out noises all at once as they glow, cause large sparks and launch straight towards their enemy, who's finished charging up their attack. Huntroid launches its green beam attack, and the finishers collide together!
The camera cuts to a wide shot and pans up/spins around as both towering titans blast their strongest attacks at each other!
And then, as we zoom into the Megazord's face, the Zoo-Keepers all yell out…
The Rangers: GO, GO…POWER RANGERS!
Energy is now pouring and erupting off of them as they all do one final spin of their Command Cubes. The camera then cuts to Huntroid's face as the sound of the ranger's attack gets louder and louder UNTIL… KABOOM! The blast outmatches Huntroid's beams and with sparks flying out of its chest, the murderous machine falls onto its back and blows as the Zooman Fusion Megazord turns around to pose while cubic debris flies into their air signaling victory!
The team celebrates this with sighs of relief, huzzahs, and in Benny's case, saying "Yeah!" over and over while rapidly spinning his Command Cube around.
Midaria: The Zoo-Keepers really just…DESTROYED Huntroid!?
The Rangers: Animals, WON.
This is said as the Zooman Fusion Megazord lowers its arms for one more glorious shot.
We then briefly cut back to the Washi Residence.
It looks like a helicopter caught footage of their battle because we see Martha celebrating in front of the tv like she just witnessed it all.
Martha: Yes! They did it! Wahoo! That's my boy right there! That's my boy!
Anywho, let's get some original villain footage, shall we?
Insidion: Yes! They did it!...UH, I-I mean, what a, ahem, truly terrible loss.
Blockhead: (flatly speaking) Uh, y-yes. I too am…broken up by this crushing defeat…W-What now boss?
The camera then cuts to Sagittar just…sitting completely still on his throne, staring toward the monitor for about 3 seconds.
Blockhead: Uh…he's still alive, right?
Insidion: Sagittar? Are you listening to us?
The camera then zooms in on Sagittar's blank face. This lasts for 5 seconds, and as it does…if you listen closely enough…you can hear the faint sound of…something buzzing in the background…Like a group of bees or a swarm of locusts…But then, right as it starts to become more audible, the sound cuts and the camera quickly zooms back out.
Sagittar: (shakes his head) S-Sorry, just…lost in my thoughts…Uh, w-where were we?
Blockhead and Insidion look at each other confused by that.
We then cut back down to Earth.
Or more specifically…to Harris somewhere in the city.
Harris: (sighs/holds up his Keeper Cube) We still have some work to do, old friend.
After a shot of the Keeper Cube in his hand up close, we cut to a wide shot of Harris turning around with the Zooman Fusion Megazord in the background.
Harris: Honnou Kakusei.
With that, he grows his wings and flies off.
We then cut back down to the Sanctum as the team teleports in.
Jackie: My friends? That is what my family likes to call a mission accomplished!
Sylvia: You could say that again! Cinco atlos for everyone!
Everyone then gives her a high five.
Winston: Man, that new Megazord was incredible! Can't wait to use that thing more often.
Then, the Sanctum elevator opens, and out steps Martha.
Martha: (her face lights up) Benny! (runs forward)
Benny: Mom! (runs toward her)
The two then come to a stop right in front of each other. There's an awkward silence as they avert their eyes and rub their arms, embarrassed and worried.
Martha: (coughs) So uh…h-how do you wanna—
Benny: I'll go first…Look, mom…what I said about you and dad, I…I didn't mean it…I shouldn't have said that.
Martha:...Even if that's true…I never should've made you feel like a coward. You're anything but that, and…I couldn't be prouder of you.
Benny: It's okay. I know you were just trying to protect me.
Martha: True, but I still went too far. I was so…worried about you that I wanted you to quit when people needed you…I promise that'll never happen again.
Benny: (smiles) That's good…So…does that mean I can keep fighting?
Martha: Of course. You can keep being the red ranger and…y-you can train down here without me now. You've proven you can handle yourself.
His face lights up hearing this and he pulls her into a big hug.
Benny: Thank you so much!… I love you, mom.
Martha: (returns the hug) I love you too, egghead.
Caleb: (fake coughs) Sorry to interrupt this moment, but uh…we're back too, you know!
Martha: R-Right. You were all fantastic out there as well…Oh, by the way, how'd it go with Harris?
This makes the other 4's faces show cringing expressions.
Caleb: YEAH, we messed that up.
Sylvia: I mean, we got good info out of him, but…
Jackie: Let's just say we didn't make a good first impression.
Martha: (sighs) I'm sure Harris will be back…He just likes to operate a little differently nowadays in terms of this stuff.
Winston: I wish we knew that going in…R-Right, I gotta go see the girls.
Sylvia: Wait. Before you go…there's something on my mind I can't stop thinking about from earlier.
Benny: Well, don't leave us hanging.
Jackie: Yeah. What do you think?
Winston: Sure, as long as it's quick.
Martha: Talk to us, Syl.
Caleb: We're all ears.
Sylvia: …When the field went around the city, and that "Sagittar" talked to us as a hologram…anyone else notices how he called us ZOOMAN rangers?
The team's eyes slowly widen upon hearing this and, again, for like the 4th time, look at each other confused.
We then cut back up…to the Arrow Galion.
The throne room is now darkly lit, and Sagittar sits alone.
Sagittar: Hmm. I need to do something about them before they grow stronger…Maybe…I need my own ranger power.
The silver mutant chuckles to himself as the camera zooms back, ending the episode.
