 Author has written 30 stories for Twilight, Hunger Games, Harry Potter, and Ghost Bird Series. Writing Advice from My Inner Bitch to My Nicer Outer Counterpart 1) Stop worrying. Stop bitching. Stop whining. And just write down what you have in that brain of yours. 2) Plot development is the last resort of bad writers. Focus on characterization and situation. It's your strong point. 3) Don't write filler chapters. Don't write filler lines. Don't write filler words. You're not even good at it, anyway. Just say what you want to say and don't fluff things up for word count. It's boring. 4) Don't be predictable, but also don't be too unpredictable for the sake of being unpredictable. 5) Write what you want to write and don't let the reviews dictate the plot. It's a dangerous path to go down. 6) Most important: Write because you enjoy it. Don't stop getting the high you get when you put your thoughts/idea down in writing. | |||||||
