Quick Note: This chapter does delve a bit into Ness/Vanny, where I must warn that there are hints of some mature content. None that can break the age rating, but there are some dark themes that are teased about Vanny.

"Hello?"

"Hey? Luis? It's me, Ness."

"Olivia! I'm surprised you called me!"

"I know you lent me your number, but I was thinking if you want to hang out today at the Pizza Plex? Luke is having us head there to check things out."

"Yeah, of course! What time do you want me to pick you up?"

"I was thinking at 1. I can meet you there. No time to pick me up."

"You're sure?"

"Don't worry. I'm having a friend drop me off."

"Great, I will see there! I just need to get ready."

"See you there. Bye." Olivia hung up her phone, as she rolled her eyes. Luis probably thought that she wants to go on a date with him, but she was simply using him. Vanessa was still asleep in her bedroom, as Glitchtrap was helping Olivia with the master plan tonight. "You know where to hide your costume?" Glitchtrap asked her, as she was putting it in a large duffle bag. "I can hide it in an area where the staff wouldn't think it's important. I'm taking a cab over to the Pizza Plex before Luis is supposed to arrive. Gives me enough time to plan things out."

"You know.. It wouldn't be bad to possibly convince Luis to join us. Perhaps if we bring him here before tonight." Glitchtrap suggested, though Olivia wasn't interested with the idea. "It would be a hassle, since we would need to explain that we're starting a cult dedicated to you. I don't know if he's compliant enough to work with us." Olivia mentioned to Glitchtrap.

"I can always steer him into the right direction." Glitchtrap said, as Olivia didn't know if Luis would be able to handle Glitchtrap. "Perhaps, but he might be too level-headed." Olivia knew that Luis might be annoying, but even if she could easily lie to people, she wouldn't convince them to help her, knowing what she's doing. "I need to get dressed. I see what I can get Luis to do when I'm there." Olivia said, before she went to her closet to find some sensible clothes to wear, for not just to visit the Pizza Plex, but for when she needs to wear her bunny costume.

Vanessa was briefly woken up to use her own bathroom, until Olivia had left her bedroom dressed much differently than what Olivia would usually wear. Rather than dark moody colors, she wore mostly white and pale colors. She wore a sleeveless grey-white shirt, along with some white pants held together with a black belt. She still wore her running shoes, though she had a thick blue ribbon wrapped around her wrist that appeared to be more of a makeshift bracelet. There were two other bracelets made of black plastic around her biceps, as Vanessa saw her. "Like it? I'm heading out with someone to the Pizza Plex. Everyone's at work is going to be there." Ness said, as she held the duffel bag in her right hand, as she left her arm hang, causing the bag to hover close to the floor.

"What's that for?" Vanessa said with sleep still in her eyes, noticing the duffel bag. "I got to drop off something at my workplace, first. Just some equipment for the IT department." Ness gave a response, as Vanessa smiled. "You know, you actually look cute in that outfit."

Olivia didn't expect to hear that response from Vanessa. Though, it was an uncommon outfit for Olivia to wear, since she needed light clothing for wearing the suit. Surely, what Vanessa said was a compliment, even though Ness didn't want to ask her further. "Thank.. Thank you. I just want to change things up. All of us back at work are being given a free day, so I want to make the most of it." Ness said, as Vanessa gave a yawn. "Crap, I'm still tired. And I have to stay up again tonight." Vanessa complained, though Ness allowed her to do her own routine. "I think you should sleep for another hour. Don't want to get insomnia." Olivia tried to give her some advice, but Vanessa already understands. "I might take a nap at work, if I'm lucky. Along with cutting back on the caffeine." Vanessa mused, as Olivia was making sure she was fully ready.

As Vanessa drifted back into another nap, Olivia excused herself out of the apartment, as her grand plan was going into motion.

Luis Cabrera didn't really know what to dress as for today. He was with the other co-workers who still expect to be dragged here at the Pizza Plex. The opening ceremony already happened with Liam Foster doing a fancy cutting of the ribbon with comically large scissors, as he cut the red ribbon that allowed many overhyped locals, kids who faked illness, and some more journalists to enter the Pizza Plex for the first time. Obviously, the first stream of crowds would cause the place to be packed, but there were more people coming in than coming out, meaning that the place was much bigger than everyone at work thought.

Luis was nervous at this special day. He always had some trouble with self-esteem, though it was mostly as he grew older. He was still recently out of college, but he would focus his priorities on work when at the IT department. Whenever someone asks what job he works at, he would tell them he works for Fazbear Entertainment at the video game division. This would draw an interested reaction, but Luis would simply tell them he only works as a IT worker. There was a sense of disappointment, when he would mention this. Some co-workers do sympathize with him, but he felt like he was lacking. He would get burnt out. He didn't know what to do. His friends would say he should socialize more.

The problem was that he already had friends, until they mentioned that he should go for "female friends". Luis did try to hang out with Judy, but she was a wild one to be around. She was a self-destructive type, willing to smoke cigarettes until she got lung cancer, along with drowning her sorrows on how she should have gotten a major in fine arts instead. Luis gave her some distance for obvious reasons.

It was when he met Olivia Ness. When he first started working for Fazbear Entertainment, she was quiet. Keeps to herself to which he tends to notice her, but she doesn't give a smile. A neutral expression, if anything. He never asks her how her day was. Not a lot of workers were happy while working at the video game division, so he thought of her as another worker trying to get by. Things got strange after that. Luis heard about the virus and how the systems got screwed up, but Ness underwent a change afterwards. Luke Richardson gave Luis the task to keep track of red flag reports by workers.

He got the first red flag report a short while after the virus attack at the offices. The company was keeping track of the computers of their own workers, to which they claim it was for security reasons. Luis believed that it was to avoid industrial espionage, though he never asked Richardson. Ness's computer was picking up a search history that had mentions of torture. Luis would read it, seeing how Olivia was looking at wiki articles about torture, even brought a special Viking Blood Eagle Twelve-Month Calendar. Luis didn't know what to make of it, at first. He did what he was told by sending an e-mail to Ness, explaining how her searches caused some red flags to appear.

A couple of days later, Ness popped up in another red flag report which Luis saw. Things were more strange for him. Olivia was looking up how to apply self-compliance and even typed simply "help" in the search bar. Luis kept e-mailing her, even though she doesn't reply back. He would look at her occasional search history. Not the search results of torture and anything for violence. But he saw how she would look up recipes on cupcakes, top weekly pictures of puppies from social media, images of flowers and bees, etc. He believed there was something wrong. As the red flag reports kept happening, he kept trying to e-mail her. Not as a stalker, but someone who was concerned.

Olivia Ness was at this point aware of Luis being suspicious of her. So it was a surprise to him to see her approach his cubicle. She was nervous, where her face was pale, but part of him thought that she was just having the same issues that he had. They shared a coffee at work. Ness defended her search history by saying that she was interested in horror, in general. She didn't drive the conversation into becoming morbid, but she helped answer Luis's questions. The next day after he saw Ness, she was at her cubicle staring deeply at her computer screen, though she also had some new rainbow extensions that he liked. Luis assumed that Ness was doing a video call, so he didn't meddle with her business.

Olivia was showing up less frequently with the red flag reports, having been self-conscious and not cause some issues, but Luis did see some things that did make him worried, even if he just shrugged it off. Perhaps it was for her screenplay that she mentioned writing.

Yeah, it has to be that. Luis thought, as he parked his small car at the crowded parking structure of the Pizza Plex. How many tarmac was paved over the landscape? Luis didn't know. He ended up arriving at the Pizza Plex with his usual clothing, as masses of people were already in and out of the building. He checked his watch. It was 12:50. He was early, but he figured he can help Olivia get through the crowds.

He left the parking structure, as he saw people of all kinds go through the doors to enter the Pizza Plex. There were some parking lots crowded with cars, as Luis wondered if Ness would show up. Until he felt a soft tap at his shoulder. "Cabrera?" Olivia said, as he turned around. He was surprised at how she was dressed. An interesting casual style, though. "Ness? You look.. You look." Luis got nervous, as Olivia finished his sentence. "Decent?"

"I guess I can say that."

"Come on. The others most likely went inside already." Olivia said, even though Luis wanted to hold her hand, but she was already a couple of steps ahead of him.

Earlier, Olivia had showed up at the Pizza Plex way before Luis. She ended up sneaking at the back of the Pizza Plex, where she discovered a loading dock for several supply trucks. She waited until most of the maintenance workers left the area, where she managed to get inside the building. Going inside from the loading dock, it was a wide staff warehouse, filled with boxes and other supplies. She made sure to keep away from the security camera that she noticed was aimed at the doors to the staff hallway. For now, she kept it hidden behind a stack of crates in a corner. Making sure that it was in a position where the workers might even assume that it was just a bag of supplies.

Both Olivia and Luis found themselves in the atrium of the building. The large golden statue of Glamrock Freddy with his microphone gave a sense of grandeur. People were already doing selfies around it. Typical, but it's fancy, so it can be expected.

A while later, the kids of Fransworth Elementary were leaving the school, as their classes ended. Harper Ward was picked up by her older brother who attended Osmond High, who was allowed to leave early, since he had a free sixth period. Though he wasn't able to attend his sister's celebration, since he was busy with a project from film class over some classic noir film that he was trying to do an essay and power point on. If it was her birthday, he would come, but it was just mostly something that was elusive for her friends. "How's your ear doing?" he asked her, as she was strapped in the passenger seat of his car. The type of car that the paranoid parents of today's age would gift to their kids, since it would have high safety ratings. "My ear is fine. Is Mom and Dad still busy for tonight?" Harper asked him, since her father had recently gotten a new job. Originally, her father used to work at the textile factory as a manager, but due to a fire caused by some faulty lighting and a pile of unused fabric, it was reduced to ashes.

He was still in some luck, as he was working at a warehouse near Bushnell, though it took roughly a hour to get there from home. Not to mention the long shifts. Her mother had a job to focus on, as well. It was much simpler, being a waitress at a diner. But the shifts were as hectic as one can imagine.

"My friend is going to pick me up tonight. You sure you can't come?" Harper asked him, though he needed to focus on his grades. "I botched my history exam! I'll be forced to summer school before my senior year happens. Maybe during the weekend after the 3rd quarter is done." his brother moaned, as Harper was getting ready for tonight. It wasn't until a while after Evelyn was supposed to arrive was when she saw the white limo driving down the street to her house.

For Gregory Brooks, he was heading home by his bike, as he still had that bandage on his face. The most peculiar and perhaps ironic thing happened to him on his ride home. While he was cruising down the sidewalk, until something darted in front of him. He had to immediately ease on the brakes of his bike, as he nearly toppled forward. It was a black cat, staring at him with green eyes.

Gregory wasn't superstitious, but he learned a lesson about black cats being common with bad luck. The cat darted off into some trash cans in front of a suburban lawn, as he began to feel a funny feeling inside of him. A feeling irking him to not go to the party. He immediately brushed it off. He didn't feel that feeling until he got home to his mother and grandmother. Those feelings faded, however, when Evelyn and Harper arrived in a party limo. The sense of unease was gone. Any superstition that Gregory believed was away from his mind.

Jack Watson was biking his way home, as he didn't want to become late. He was the youngest in the family of 3, while his sister was in middle school and his brother being a part of the football team in high school. His father had an important job, as a police detective. Currently, he was at some alley in the city, after some vagrant had found a body in one of the dumpsters. A bit of a shock for them, since they were only dumpster diving for something to sell. A body was not what they expected.

Detective Watson didn't know what to make of it. The victim was killed a few days ago, along with the lack of any real evidence. They were able to identify the body to be that of a drifter with a criminal record, but the best outcome that Watson had was that it was a gang-related murder. Either that or self-defense. Watson wanted to lean towards the latter, especially since Bushnell didn't have any street gangs in the area.

Jack's mother still worked from home. Though, even though she was intending on joining her son for the party tonight, her daughter Regina came down with a nasty case of the flu. She was hesitant on leaving her son alone with his friends, but there was that time she met that friend of Jack's named Gregory. He was friendly enough with her son and even rode his bike with him. They were friends, which was obvious, but he seemed to know what to do, if something would had happen.

Upon arriving home, Jack saw a large white limo in the front of his house. His mother was there, talking to someone at the passenger seat, as he pulled his bike up to the driveway, where he would usually tie his bike. His mother was talking to Mrs. Cox at the passenger seat, where the driver seemed to be a private valet. "Jack? Your friends are waiting for you!" his mother said, as Jack looked to see Harper in the back window. The back passenger door was open for him, as he saw Gregory poke his head out. "Jack! You need to get in here, this is amazing!" Gregory said, as Jack looked in the limo. "Is this an actual limo?"

"It's an actual limo! Half of our class is in here!" Gregory said, as Jack's mother made sure to stop him before he went outside. "Make sure you call me when your party is over! Your father will get anxious for staying out late." his mother warned him, as Mrs. Cox reassured her. "Don't worry, Mrs. Watson. My husband and his cousin both work at the Pizza Plex. They will keep track of them."

Mrs. Watson was hesitant on the thought, but there was other adult supervision already. She needed to care for the rest of the family, but she knew that Jack's friend Gregory was supposed to be a responsible kid. "Don't let them come back late!" Mrs. Watson could only say, as Jack was allowed to hop in. Jack's mother watched, as Mrs. Cox wished her well, as the limo pulled away from the driveaway. Lamar Watson, the older brother of the family, saw the limo leave as he had thoughts of envy.

Appearing from the front door, he went over to ask where his younger sister went. "Where did Jack go to? Did his class win one of those cookie sale events?" Lamar asked his mother, as she confirmed that Jack went to a party for one of his classmates. "His friends must have planned all of this. I need to call up Brooks to see how she's reacting." Mrs. Watson said, as she headed back into the house. "But I want to go to a party! It will be worth it since football practice is tomorrow!"

"I don't know what is it with some parents these days. I know some of Gregory's classmates are much upper middle class than us, but I thought the mention of his classmate being rich was an exaggeration!" Ms. Brooks said on the phone to Mrs. Watson, as she saw the same reaction with the fancy limo. "You're not the only one taking advantage of this opportunity. Kids need something to keep them happy. Should get them off their cellphones." Watson commented, as Ms. Brooks was doing laundry in the living room, where Gregory's grandmother was still watching her old programs from the 70's.

"Can't get them spoiled now. We're being a bit left in the dark with what's supposed to be at this new Mega Pizza Plex."

"Supposed to be a mixture between a mall and a family entertainment center?"

"Isn't it replacing Diller's?"

"No, they have a Diller's somewhere in there! It's supposed to be big!"

Gregory's grandmother, who was overhearing the phone call, gave a bit of a smirk. "They can't get rid of the Diller's! Worked there as a teen! Better experience than all of the other department stores out there!"

"Quiet please, mother! Anyways, I call Gregory again when he's supposed to head back home. Might be late, but I'm counting on the Coxes to take care of the kids." Ms. Brooks said, unable of the danger that some of the kids are going to encounter.

Especially her own son Gregory, who will end up encountering a certain type of doom, if he could survive that is.

It woke up again. There were the noises of people outside of the box. There was still the gap from the lid, as it was trying to hear what was beyond the box. It knew it was underground, but it didn't where they were. There were voices. Audible, but it was possible to try to hear them.

"Keep things organized. List down the inventory. Salvage what you find, if it's important to keep." a voice of a man said, as they kept listening. "We don't have to worry about some random trespassers, right? The place is closed." There was another voice of a man.

"Not really. Nightguards are supposed to be here. Private party is happening way upstairs. Tacky as hell."

"You should have brought champagne."

"You mean punch?"

Where were they? They were in the box, but it was still hazy after the fire.

The fire. It nearly killed them for real. But it saw him die in front of him. Yet.. Something felt wrong. He always comes back. Even if they were wrong, it knew that things wouldn't end unless they were stopped.

"What the #### is that thing? It's freaking huge!" one of the men said from outside of the box. What were they talking about out there? It reached through the gap, using whatever strength they still had to grip at the edge of the box. Pulling itself up, it managed to get it's head through the gap, as it managed to get a better look at what place they were in.

It was still underground, but the walls looked more barren. The floors appeared to be more like catwalks than actual rock. There were tables with an assortment of mechanical parts and crates of what seemed to be technical supplies. It can walk, though it needed to stay hidden. The room had plenty of shadows to hide in, most people probably wouldn't notice.

Where was they at?

It crept around a corner, out of view, as it saw something that could give a child fever dreams and night terrors.

What... What is that?!

Normally, even though it was aware that they were terrifying, there was something ironic at seeing something more horrific than what you were. It was an exoskeleton of metal that was being combined with an endoskeleton. There were spike-like nails that made up the metal claws of the hybrid endoskeleton, where it had a skull-like head with sharp teeth. The workers were getting some tools to polish and insert more parts into the metallic behemoth. Strangely, there were leather straps that were at the shoulders, chest, and hip of the endoskeleton. Some clamps were being cut off with a circular saw, as the workers were busy making sure it can work. The front of the hybrid endoskeleton was covered in dried blood, but the workers didn't seem to care or react to that. They were perfectly aware of what it was.

"This was recovered from an evidence locker several months ago and kept in a separate facility. Most of it was originally disassembled for being too dangerous, however they managed to get 95% of the original parts. Adding onto the parts to this separate endoskeleton should increase it's value. Remind me to have Sullivan issue a maintenance clean-up." the worker said, as they were aware of the blood.

"So what? This killed like 2 kids?"

"If this killed two people, then we can use this to make a killing alright." the worker said, exchanging a chuckle.

It was still watching from the shadows. A sense of rage was building inside itself. It thought of that nightmarish creation as... profit?! It was inhumane. It wanted to attack the two. Punish them both, so they can feel the agony of what itself had faced. But, it didn't want to take the risk. It needed to escape. Escape from it's current captors and become powerful once again.

There was the sounds of footsteps. A flight or fight response kicked in.

Hide. Hide now. They will attack you, if they see you. They will know you're loose.

Another worker went to the box where it originally was. However, to their disappointment, it was empty. The handle on the side of the box didn't produce a melody to draw anything back. It was now in the middle of the underground, seeing out of sight, as it explored this new labyrinth.

Olivia and Luis ended up at an Italian restaurant styled after a classic Freddy Fazbear's Pizza joint. One of the biggest differences was an updated menu that gave some retro-styled food. Luis was still in the midst of being amused, upon seeing a server bot guide the two to their table and hand them their menus. Olivia insisted on ordering a salad, but Luis wanted to try a pizza. Both Olivia and Luis never had a pizza from Fazbear's before, so Luis was interested. "You want to split a pizza? We can do straight cheese!"

"I don't want to get stuffed on pizza." Olivia said, as even though they were sitting at a table for two, Glitchtrap was floating at an empty side of the table, almost like he was sitting on an invisible chair. "How about a small? We can still finish it and I can help eat most of it. I hadn't even eaten all day!" Luis joked. "You hadn't even eaten lunch, you know that, Olivia?" Glitchtrap reminded Ness, where she reluctantly agreed. After the server bot left with the order, another server bot came by to the table. "Afternoon, sir and ma'am. Would you like some coloring pages while your order is being prepared?" the server bot said in a monotone voice. "I think we-"

"Aw cool! Sure!" Luis said, as the server dispensed coloring pages that would be a part of a kid's menu. However, coloring pages were much common for adults, since they were a stress-reliving hobby. Olivia wanted to complain, until she saw the red crayon among the small bag she was given.

Something gets her riled up inside of her. Perhaps, it was reminding her of blood. It wouldn't be long, until she was scribbling over some of the illustrations of the Glamrocks on her coloring page. Luis hadn't even been paying attention to what Olivia was drawing, as he was more easily distracted by every minor new detail that pops into his view.

"I've been meaning to ask. How is your screenplay going?" Luis asked Ness, not seeing at what she was drawing. "My screenplay? It's going great, actually. I'll already shot some footage, even if I've been improvising." Olivia gave a lie with the screenplay angle that she keeps telling him.

"Improvising?"

"I'm filming with practically no budget. I just get whatever I can afford."

"You should still be glad that you're going full auteur with your project."

"People don't go full auteur anymore. I can upload my movie online, if that means going full auteur."

"Or there was that horror channel on StarShare that accepts submissions." Luis gave a suggestion, though Olivia was a bit unsure.

"Hmm.. Maybe you chip in. Perhaps with helping with the movie?"

This seemed to intrigue Luis, though who wouldn't want to be in a movie? "Really? Can I be sprayed with ketchup or stuff? Or are you able to do some special effects to be sliced in half? I'll love to be in a movie!" Luis said, even though Olivia wanted to simply get Glitchtrap to brainwash him.

The server bot arrived with a small tray of pizza in their hands, which they set down onto the table. The pizza was a Freddy Fazbear's classic, though it could have looked more interesting if pepperoni was added. It was a plain cheese pizza, like it ordered, though the quality wasn't like any other pizza joint that either Olivia or Luis would go to. Both of them tried to bite of their own slices, as their reactions were mixed.

"This isn't actually that bad. This pizza is supposed to be cheap, but it's surprisingly decent." Ness said, as she ate the pizza. Obviously, it wasn't the best pizza in the world, but if Ness had to rate it, she would give 3.5 stars. Cabrera, meanwhile, was eating the pizza clearly enjoying it, without a different thought. He was eating it a bit too fast, though. "You shouldn't eat too fast, I don't want anyone to die right now." Olivia remarked, which Luis saw as a morbid joke. "I'm still chewing before I shallow!"

"Don't want any public incidents before tonight."

"I got ya." Luis did slow down a bit when it came to the pizza, though he did ask her how the pizza was. "I think Silicy's is still better than this. That one place Judy mentioned." Ness said to him. "Silicy's? Isn't that place fancy?"

"The prices are cheaper than you think. I think you're talking about Neapolitan. Everyone goes there for their pasta."

"Speaking of pasta, I think I did see some on the menu."

"Let's not get too occupied here. We hadn't even explored more than half of the Pizza Plex, yet!"

"I know, but it's so hard to not resist temptation here! There's so much to see, Ness! I mean, this place has a bowling alley and even a whole amusement park!"

"You shouldn't be a glutton. Especially since I want to explore more." Ness said, as there was a family that got themselves in a table across from the two. Their chatter with happy kids along with parents posting their exploits on social media to share to their online friends, as a birthday boy already had a party cap on. A birthday. A celebration, which Ness never really felt the joys of. Then again, she never felt anything, did she?

Olivia Ness was 8 years old, as she entered her small flat with the house key she had in her backpack. Things were still dinghy as usual. Her mother was probably with another "suitor" in bedroom, as she tells Ness. Several empty bottles of cheap beer and wine were all over the living room carpet, as they clattered as Ness tried not to kick them. There was some noise coming from the bedroom, as a man emerged, trying to get himself cleaned up.

"Oh... You must be Trixie's kid. ####.. I'm just finished up, you know." the man said, though Olivia would know why he was here. "Is my mom available? She told me that she will have a cake and some presents ready for me, when I got home from school." Ness said, since today was her birthday.

"Uhhh. I didn't see any cake in the fridge, when your mother wanted a drink. Or gifts.." the man said, as he was beginning to feel how awkward the situation was. "Tell you what. Maybe they have something at the toy store you can buy. I can give this tip to you, than to your mother." the man dug into his pockets, where he pulled out 2 dollars. "What is 2 dollars going to give me at the toy store?"

"They sell dolls, don't they? You can find them at the bargain bin." the man remarked, as Ness looked at the money that was being put in her hands. If her dad was here. If he didn't leave forever, after saying that he was going to head to the liquor store to grab a packet of smokes. Would he give her a different amount? Not out of greed, but to show kindness. A sense of annoyance and rage was within her. Aimed at her mother of all people.

"Ness, is something wrong?" Luis said, as she felt Glitchtrap in her head trying to get her to snap out of it.

"Act natural."

"Oh what? Sorry! I was reminiscing a bit about when I was young. You're right about this place. Never had the chance to be here, even though they were supposed back to be popular back in the 80s and 90s." Ness got herself back together, as she tried to remain normal. "Like I was saying, this whole place is amazing! Maybe we should stop by here after work, when the crowds are low?"

"You think the crowds will even get low?" Ness joked, as Luis gave a laugh for her sarcasm. The two finished up dinner, as the server bot arrived with the check. While Luis wanted to pay for both of their meals, Ness was willing to use her own card. "You're paying?" Luis asked her, since he was trying to be nice to her. Not in a romantic way, yet Luis did a bad job at hiding this. "Well, yeah. I can pay for your meals."

"Actually, I think I should pay. I recommended we eat at this place."

"It's pizza, though. I can pa-"

"I just don't want you to waste money, that's all." Luis got nervous, as Glitchtrap and Ness knew what he was doing. "Let me pay. You're getting stressed." Ness said, getting the menu, but Luis wanted to grab it from her, but he accidently tugged her ribbon, which caused her to recoil back. Cabrera saw the look of her face. A look that was looking down at him. However, it reverted back to a neutral expression in the same voice that had the same energy when she was at work with him. "Sorry. Just let me pay the menu, Cabrera."

"Ok! Ok.." Luis still looked nervous from Ness's view. For Olivia, there was this indifference with Luis. Was he pathetic? She could tell he was miserable. Awkward was probably the best way to describe him. "Don't grab at my wrist, though. Don't like to be touched there." Ness made sure the ribbon around her wrist was still on. It did well to hide the scars. "How about we go to the arcade? We hadn't been there, yet. I'm sure they have advertisements of the company's games." Ness said, trying to get Luis to cheer up.

"You do that?"

"You can pay for the game tokens." I prefer that you don't, but if it makes you happy.

"That actually sounds like a good idea. You think they have Pac-Man or even some pinball?" Luis asked her, as she was using her credit card to pay for the bill. "I wouldn't be surprised if the acrade is it's own separate mall." Ness kept up with the sarcasm that made Cabrera interested in her.

Gregory and the rest of the kids were in the arcade, as there were many vintage and new types of games for all ages to play. Aside from the arcade cabinets, there were more physical looking games, such as Hide and Seek and a Wind Tunnel. For some reason, there were games that were "kid-friendly" versions of gambling, such as a digital poker arcade machine that allowed multiple players. Some of the older kids and even some young adults were playing on the machine, though Gregory and Jack were enjoying a thrilling light gun rail shooters called Mansion of the Ghouls. "Doesn't this game have 4 sequels?" Jack asked Gregory, as they were trying to get past a spider boss in the middle of the game.

GAME OVER. Add more tokens to continue.

"Aww, man.." Jack said, bummed that they lost. "Come on, we can't waste all of our tokens on one game. Isn't there the Wind Tunnel near that clown?" Gregory said, as he was referring to the clown animatronic that was stationed near the Wind Tunnel. Jack reached into his pockets to check the amount of tokens he had, though Gregory had plenty. "I do have 5 extra ones in here-"

Almost in a sense of clumsiness, one of the tokens slipped through his fingers. "Oh no!" Jack blurted out, as Gregory saw the token bounce on the confetti themed carpet. The token was about to roll under another arcade cabinet, until a hand snatched it before it went under.

"Don't want to lose this now." a woman said, who had grabbed the token. Gregory saw the woman next to what he believed to be a friend. Dressed in white and having rainbow streaks in her hair. "Oh, thanks." Jack said, as Luis was near Ness. "You wouldn't mind that we play the game you two were playing, right? I actually had a high score on the 2nd game, so I want to see if this game is easier." Cabrera said, as Ness rolled her eyes a bit. "We couldn't get pass the spider boss." Gregory mentioned to Luis. "You were supposed to focus on the locusts, before you shoot the legs. That was what I heard from a speed runner online." Luis joked, where Ness gave a laugh, though it was hard to determine if it was fake.

"You two better be more careful. Don't want any more accidents." Ness said, as the boys nodded. A sense of authority from a grown-up. "Come on, Jack. Let's see what's Harper is doing." Gregory said, as he let the couple play on the rail shooter.

Unbeknownst to the kids, even Luis and Ness, Glitchtrap was also near Olivia. He was looking at the two kids that were walking away. Even if Ness didn't feel him, he had his mind be full of scheming.

Author's Notes: A little rushed, but I explain why in a moment.

So there was some things I was considering for some future chapters. After the scenario from the Pizza Plex is complete. Originally, I intended to do a poll on what should happen. I can't discuss what the choices were, but I was doing a little digging with some SB theories. Then, after seeing a "certain video", I thought..

..How about I go full circle?

That's your only hint for what I have in mind, but for now, all hell is about to break out in the Pizza Plex. In case someone was wondering, I will not be using the Fliptrap hoax for the "thing" in the basement. Even though it was admitted to be a hoax, along with looking interesting, I had already picked out something to serve as our "monster".

Also...

FINALLY! A NEW TEASER! Ok, maybe a website, but things are opening up! Perhaps another trailer is soon, but we can focus on that later..

But yeah... the hype is going back up the roof, so I'm destressing on the chance by releasing this early by giving more hints in Ness's personality and backstory. The next chapter is most likely going to focus back on Vanessa and be more from the kid's POVs.

Along with that, some people might say that Olivia's outfit is similar to the one in Fury's Rage, which I made it deliberate as a reference.
