Chapter 744.
"Scourge encounter."

(December 10. The Loud House.)

A good day has come, for winter is here, but right now we see Lincoln and Jordan and even Luna on the tree house watchtower and using their binoculars they all spot something coming, and that something is this large floating citadel inbound for somewhere in Royal Woods.

Some aircraft from the Allied Outpost are flying around and keeping it at bay in case it does something bad, and it hasn't done anything bad since it got there. Then they see something large flying by, and they can sort of recognize it, though it is far different.

Frost Wyrm.
Frost wyrms, also known as frostwyrms, are the skeletal remains of adult blue dragons killed by the Scourge. These reanimated vessels of destruction do not fear death; they dispense it.

But this one, has a name: Sapphiron, was an ancient agent of the blue Dragonflight who was killed by Arthas Menethil and raised as a powerful frost wyrm. He was subsequently sent to the halls of Naxxramas, where he guarded the inner sanctum of the citadel's dread master, Kel'Thuzad.

Luna is surprised. "Whoa. That's the undead dragon that my ice-born hero version has, but this one seems different. Lincoln, you know the video game, what do you make of this?"

Lincoln might not see closely, but he can see where the citadel is standing and he knows the location. "Well, the one thing I do know, is that Lucy has made the call and this is what she wanted. To see something, of undead measures."

Then the Frost Wyrm is in front of them as it lands and it lowers its head. "I think this thing wants us to ride her" said Jordan. They all go onto the head of the Frost Wyrm and then she realizes. "Oh, this is not the same one Luna Frost has, this one is not Sindragosa, this is Saphiron."

The dragon roars and they hold on tight and it takes to the skies and heads to where the Royal Woods Cemetery. Lincoln then realizes. "What do you guys think the rest of our friends are doing seeing this?"

(The Royal Woods Cemetery.)

Right now, Lucy and her friends are amazed at the sight of the floating undead citadel above them and how dark and brooding it looks, and the decorations beneath it, showing that this is a truly ancient and evil place. Some of them take some photos of this large structure, named Naxxramas.

Naxxramas.
This was once an ancient citadel or ziggurat to the Nerubian Empire, then turned into the seat of command for the Archlich Kel'Thuzad. With this Necropolis, they can lead their undead forces and bring forth ruin and is a large place for heroes to think that they can find and defeat the Archlich himself, when clearly there are tons of horrors that lie within.

Lucy grins. "This is gonna be good my friends." Her Litwick is amazed, and then they see a green soruce of energy is forged and zooms down from the bottom of the Necropolis and lands in front of them, the green misr fades and all of them see what has been revealed.

"Greetings, little ones. I am Kel'thuzad, and be wary... You're curiosity will be the death of you."

Kel'Thuzad.
Archlich of Naxxramas, Esteemed LichLord of the Plaguelands, Commander of the dread Necropolis, Master and Founder of the Cult of the Damned, formerly of the Council of Six, Creator of the Abomination, Summoner of Archimonde the Defiler, The Betrayer of Humanity, Hearthstone Enthusiast and Majordomo to the Lich King.

(Pronounced /'kɛlθʔzɑːd/) was a powerful human mage, and a member of the Kirin Tor until his interest in the dark arts caused him to be expelled. He went on to become the founder of the Cult of the Damned and one of the principal agents of the Lich King responsible for spreading the plague across Lordaeron, and then he became a powerful Lich after his death and rebirth, and then continued to serve the Lich King. He is the most powerful of all the known LichLord's in the Scourge.

Kel'Thuzad was left to command the Scourge of Lordaeron from his floating necropolis, Naxxramas.

All of them are surprised to see this being, and the way he looks and they all feel like bowing, but they don't and just gaze upon his figure and Lucy recalls her alarm clock and she smiles. "Wow. So, you are a friend of Luna Frost Spellman."

Kel'Thuzad nods. "Indeed I am, though I serve the Lich King and as I recall meeting another Lucy in the world I went to, I am surprised to see another who is beyond amazed by who I am and how I look, and this is not the first time I have met the infamous Young Morticians Club. Greetings, children."

All of them are speechless and then Lucy goes towards him. "Now, Archlich of Naxxramas. Have you brought what we would wish to see?"

The Archlich nods and so Kel'Thuzad uses his powers and he summons from his citadel and all the way to the ground and are surprised by what they see, some of his servants and warriors and all of them are undead in nature and this is a total shocker for them.

The Frost Wyrm lands, and the ones riding it come down and are also surprised by what they see, some of the servants and minions of the Dreaded Archlich. Kel'Thuzad then speaks. "Allow me to give you all some words of wisdom and information about what you are all witnessing."

Crypt Fiend.
Crypt fiends are undead Nerubians. These large, mummified creatures appear to be a genetic cross between humans and spiders. Their lower bodies are supported by six spindly arachnid limbs and their heavily bandaged torsos are human in form. These aberrant creatures are capable of summoning swarms of vile insects and projecting web-like strands to incapacitate and harm their enemies.

Shade.
An undead scout that is made from an acolyte sacrificing themselves to become this darkened spirit in the darkness, they do not bring harm and are known to be hidden in the shadows, and can find others who remain invisible in the shadows. They might not inflict harm, but they are damned scary.

Carrion Beetle.
Carrion beetles are carrion-eating insects living in a few areas of Azeroth. Most of them serve the Nerubians as part of the Scourge. They mostly serve when summoned by a mighty Crypt Lord.

Meat Wagon.
This rickety contraption is used to collect and store recently slain corpses from the field of battle. At any time, corpses can be pulled from the meat wagon and raised into undead warriors. When upgraded, the meat wagon can also fling diseased corpses at enemy units with its crude catapult device. An invaluable support vehicle for the Scourge, the meat wagon strikes fear and woe into the hearts of even the most resolute defenders.

Meat wagons use a Meat-A-Pult to fling corpses at the enemy. Meat wagons are constructed at slaughterhouses to lob plague-infected body parts at the enemy. The disease clouds that accompany abominations are often spread to meat wagons, thus allowing the contraptions' rotting ammunition to deal further damage to the enemies of the Scourge.

Obsidian Statue.
Believed to be gifts granted by Ner'Zhul, the Obsidian Statues are often used as figureheads at the forefront of many undead armies, inspiring awe and fear in the enemy ranks. Nothing can prepare the enemy for what this unfathomable statue could become. These constructs used by the Scourge that can transform into obsidian destroyers.

Obsidian Destroyer.
These are enslaved titan-forged tol'vir who are made out of obsidian. The Scourge eventually consumed the Nerubian Empire and threw its few remaining tol'vir slaves into the front lines. Now known as obsidian statues, the tol'vir were often used as figureheads at the forefront of many undead armies after the Third War, inspiring awe and fear in the enemy ranks.

Obsidian Statues, however, were also able to break free of the obsidian stone that held them and fly into battle, swallowing magic to feed their insatiable hunger as they moved between battles and rained destruction down upon their foes.

Skeletal Horse.
These beasts are the remains of horses that have succumbed to the Lich King's plague. They have since been raised from the dead by the Royal Apothecary Society in the Undercity and are now used as mounts by the Forsaken. The Forsaken believe that without a purpose, even beasts of burden suffer in undeath. At least some skeletal horses have been known to try to graze as they did in life, oblivious to the fact that the grass simply falls back to the earth when they attempt to chew it. Thy also serve the death knight who serve the Lich King. One of the most well-known skeletal horses, is Invincible, the mount of Death Knight Prince/King Arthas Menethil.

Crypt Lord.
These ancient, evil behemoths were once the mighty kings of the subterranean spider kingdom of Azjol-Nerub. Though the Nerubians fell before the wrath of the Lich King during the fabled War of the Spider, the insidious crypt lords were swayed over to the Lich King's ranks and granted considerable power and the immortality of undeath. Now the giant, thundering beasts serve as the Lich King's mightiest warriors and the guardians of the Scourge's holdings in Northrend.

The most well-known Crypt Lord is Anub'Arak, but there are others such as: Anub'esset, Under-King Anub'et'kan, Anub'Rekhan, Ix'lar the Underlord, Lord Kryxix, High Priest Naferset, Underking Talonox and Nezar'Azret.

All of them are surprised by this information and all the Goth's go over and they check out each of these undead forces, and then Dante asks. "Excuse me, Archlich. But what of the rest of your undead forces?"

Kel'Thuzad recalls and he explains. "Well, having a Ghoul here would be risky if it soon enters its frenzy phase, all the Gargoyles have been sent to Icecrown to defend the Lich King, we don't have any banshees, and the Necromancers have been deployed to help reinforce the land of the Lich King."

"All of my acolytes have been sent back onto the lands of Northrend to help rebuild the rest of the defenses, and I am not planning to bring down an Abomination here. It's pungent and horrid and you might not like the smell it emits from its giant rotting sewn body. I will only allow those I could spare."

Lucy nods. "Understandable, Archlich." They then go over and check out the Obsidian Statue and Destroyer, and how impressive they are, and this does honor the Destroyer knowing that it is truly a marvelous sight, and through this it feels like a warrior again.

Some of them interact with the undead horse, and then Luna, Lincoln and Jordan stand next to the Archlich. "So, how long do you plan to stay here?" asked Lincoln.

Kel'Thuzad smirks. "When Luna Frost deems it the time, Icecrown can handle its own, for now I wish to calm myself after the conflicts I had to go through when facing that damned Banshee Queen."

Luna can already tell, that this is gonna be one long week, possibly until Sunday. They too go over and check out these undead warriors for themselves, and they even take some photos of them. But then Kel'Thuzad sends an ice blast and it freezes a drone and it lands on the stony path and shatters.

They all go over and see the drone, and then the Crypt Fiend shoots some webbing onto another one and it is grounded, thus the Crypt Lord and the Obsidian Destroyer smash it to pieces and then Jordan checks that one. "Richmund, this is his."

Lincoln has a piece from the shattered one. "Same here, and that means he has seen the undead forces, but I doubt he could do any harm with the undead going around here, for a few days."

Kel'Thuzad thinks about this. "Very interesting, now tell me... Who is this Richmund fellow?" They all could tell, that the Archlich is now interested in this ordeal.

To be continued...

A/N: Looks like Lucy and her friends got the chance to see some undead stuff, and it may have just been seen by the one person they hate, and that rich man now sees... That he is outgunned and outnumbered. He has no idea what is in store for him if he does do something heinous to the Louds and the Rosato's. Leave a review and tell me what you all think everyone.
