Chapter 11: Thai Feud
The next morning at the Boonchuys residence, Anne, Polly, and Hop Pop are having breakfast at the table while her mother is cooking scrambled eggs and bacons. Polly watches Anne wearing her ponytail pouring her orange juice and Polly swallows the whole glass of juice full.
"Wow." said Polly amazed.
"Would anyone like eggs?" Mrs. Boonchuy asked kindly.
"Yes please." replied Polly.
"Why, yes. Thank you." Hop Pop thanked Anne's mother.
Mrs. Boonchuy serves eggs to him and Polly. He tried eating the eggs and he liked them. Hop Pop has never taste this scramble eggs this once before.
"Mmm... These are eggcellent, Mrs. Boonchuy." said Hop Pop delighted.
"Yes, thank you for the delicious food." Polly thanked Anne's mother.
"Oh, you're very welcome." said Mrs. Boonchuy.
"He-Heeey!"
Sprig enters the kitchen wearing his new pajamas. He spit with his tongue, he swings by a lamp and reaches the dining room when landed next to Mrs. Boonchuy.
"Good morning, fam-fam." Sprig greeted, but looked at the eggs. "Oooh...eggs!"
Sprig spit his tongue, he eats them quickly in the pan, but Mrs. Boonchuy tries to control herself when small scramble eggs were splattered on her face.
"Mmm... These could use a little something. Got any hot sauce?" Sprig asked.
"Sure, I'll get-"
"Woo-hoo!" Sprig jumps into the fridge, opens it and climbs through the door. "Don't worry, Mrs. B. I got it."
Sprig quickly drinks the hot sauce. Then he makes an "aaaah...", but then burps causing a flame to come out towards a plate with remains. Mrs. Boonchuy turns it off with the frying pan, and afterward, she looks at Anne with the Law of Ice. Anne plays innocent while she blushes and sweats a bit. Mrs. Boonchuy goes to another part of the house when she left.
"Sprig, can we chat?" said Anne grab Sprig and sets him down at the table. "Dude, what are you doing?"
"What do you mean?"
"Sprig Plantar, you're a guest in Boonchuy's home. For frog's sake, behave like one." said Hop Pop scolding at Sprig.
"Ha! Silly Hop Pop. We aren't guests, we're family." said Polly showing her adorable face.
"No! We're not! Just because Anne is a Plantar, doesn't automatically make you a Boonchuy."
"Doesn't it though? I mean, the math checks out." said Sprig.
"You're..." Polly puts her left foot on the table and points at him "NOT a part of Anne's family!"
"Oh..." Sprig felt hurt when he thinks he was left out. "Anne, is that true?"
"Don't worry about it, man. Being a guest around here is so much better. Being family just means chores, responsibilities and getting yelled at when you mess up." replied Anne.
"I, for one, like being waited on hand and foot, and I should know..." Polly sits down on the books that's been sitting at chair and puts her feet on the table. "I have feet now."
"Sorry, guys. I just always wanted a bigger family and I guess I got a little carried away." Sprig apologized.
"Been there."
"Hey, no problem." said Anne.
"You course corrected." Hop Pop added.
"Anne, come on. We had a lot of work to do in the restaurant." said Mrs. Boonchuy hollered.
"Well, that's me. See you guys when I get back." said Anne when she got off the table.
"Oh, wait!" Sprig stops Anne for a moment. "Can I come with you? I'd like to make up for how rude I was this morning."
"I guess that'd be fine." said Anne and then looked at Polly and Hop Pop. "Hop Pop, Polly, try to research some portals and junk while we're going."
"You got it." said Hop Pop while Polly gives her a thumbs up.
Anne and Sprig left the dining room as they left to go to work with her mother. Then Polly showing two movies to Hop Pop.
"So, are we watching Starzgate or Quantum Hop?"
"Quantum Hop! Quantum Hop!"
Meanwhile at the airport where airplane has landed. Then we see some passengers has exited the gate with their suitcases. Then there were twins that are teens, the one that wears a blue pine tree hat, dark blue vest with red shirt, grey shorts, and tennis shoes reading his journal with a pine tree in front.
While the other one was a girl wearing a shooting star sweater, purple skirt, and dress socks and shoes smiling with her braces. The twins were carrying their backpack and their suit case as they got off from the plane.
"Well, here we are Mabel...Los Angeles."
"Wow! It's been so long since our parents took us there. I can feel it."
"Yep, it's full of tourist traps, tall buildings, family theme parks, and more mystery to discover."
"Ha, not as much as back in Gravity Falls, huh Dipper."
Suddenly, more friends has arrived. It shows two more girls when they come out. One is a red hair teenager wearing her lumberjack hat, flannel button up long sleeve shirt, tight jeans, and her boots.
The girl has same ages as the twins with blonde hair wearing her purple earrings, purple coat, light purple shirt, black tight pants, her belt, and her brown shoes. She's carrying her suitcase wearing her sunglasses.
"Hey man, thanks for tagging us along with you guys. Can't let you have all the fun while I'm around." said the red haired girl.
"No problem, Wendy." said Mabel.
"At least I told my parents that I set my foot down telling them that I need freedom." said the former rich girl.
"Well Pacifica, I'm glad that you can join us." said Dipper.
"Thanks, so why are we here again?" pacifica asked.
"Because we have a mystery to discover."
They looked at the elder who's wearing his brown trench coat, red sweeter, dark brown pants, and brown boots. He also wears his glasses when he approached carrying his brief case.
"According to my calculations, the rumors are that this unidentified anomaly has been spotted three days ago." said the elder then he called out. "Hey Stanley, you coming?"
"Yeah, yeah, I'm coming."
Then another elder came that almost looks like a twin wearing his glasses, red bean hat, grey trench coat, white t-shirt, light grey pants, and his boot. He also carrying his suitcase walking alongside with a pig on a leash.
"Took me long enough to get the pig out of the kennel."
"Aw, did Waddles had a good time?" Mabel cooed.
"Of course he had a good time. So Ford, where's the exit?" Stan asked.
"I'm thinking that's we're headed." replied Ford pointing his thumb for that direction.
"Oh, right. Hope they won't probably recognized me."
"C'mon Grunkle Stan, everyone loves you. Sure they forgive you after you saved the world." said Mabel.
"Well, not all folks likes you that much." Dipper added.
"Alright kids, we better get going. Our buses will arrive any minute." Ford reminded them.
"Woo-hoo! The Pines Family is back in town, baby!" Mabel cheered.
"(chuckled) Something's never change." Dipper commented.
The Pines and their friends are heading to an exit where the bus approaches just in time. They were about to get in, but was blocked by a bus driver.
"Sorry, no animals allowed on the bus." said the bus driver.
"Aw come on! I spent my money on that plane!" Stan whined.
The bus driver close the door and drove away from the Pines family leaving them disappointed when groaning.
"Well, that sucks." Wendy commented.
"Anyone up for a taxi?" Ford asked.
Meanwhile at the restaurant called "Thai Go", Anne and her parents are preparing to cook food and clean everything to start working hours. Anne was sweeping the floor while her mother is chopping some lettuce.
Sprig is excited that he has never been to a restaurant from Anne's world before. He was so eager to help Anne and her parents by jumping up and down.
"How can I help? How can I help? How can I help?"
"Don't worry about it, pink frog. You're our guest." said Mrs. Boonchuy hands him a plastic cup of Thai ice tea. "Why don't you sit in the corner with a Thai ice tea?"
After receiving the cup, Sprig is sitting down disapointed.
"Ugh... I hate being a stupid guest. I wanna be family."
Sprig looks at Anne and her father as he takes out a seed and throws it at Anne and she manages to catch it in her mouth.
"Yes!" Mr. Boonchuy cheered.
Sprig felt like he was all left out. Ever since he was teleported on Earth along with Anne, Polly, and Hop Pop, where Mickey and Minnie took them home to Boonchuys family as Anne's parents are welcoming them as their guest.
But Sprig, however doesn't want to be a guest. He wants to have a family. Clearly he still has Polly and Hop Pop, but he misses his parents when they were killed by the giant herons. He may be Anne's best friend, but he still considered her as an older sister like he always wanted. Suddenly, a bell is heard signal that indicates that a customer has arrived.
"Whoops. Sounds like we've got a customer." said Mr. Boonchuy.
"Heh?" Sprig was curious when he put his mask on.
Anne, Sprig, and her parents are going to receive that client, but it turns out it was a guy wearing his button up black shirt, pink shirts, and tannish shorts that he is an acquaintance of the Boonchuys.
"What's happening, Boonchuys? Hehehe..." He looked at Anne when he was surprised. " Anne! Whoa! I thought you were dead."
"Ned!" Then Anne shows Sprig some pictures of Ned. "Check it out, Sprig. This guy's our number one customer. He's been around for years."
"Wooow..." said Sprig.
"Oh! And I'm not just a customer anyone, Anne." said Ned.
"Wait, what?" confused Anne.
"I brought a food truck. I wanna bring your mom's amazing cooking to all of L.A. She puts the pow in pad kra pao!"
"Oh, neat. You guys are in business together?"
"Well... no. No yeeet."
"(sigh) I already told you. We're just not interested in a food truck." said Mrs. Boonchuy.
"But you've got the best Thai food in the country and if we partnered up, we could make so much money together. Couldn't you just share some of your recipes with me?" said Ned anxious.
"Absolutely not. This recipe are for family only."
"Well... when you changed your mind, you know where to find me."
Ned leaves the restaurant directly to his food truck, which happens to be stationed in front. Anne has never seen a food truck that was parked outside before, but her mom was not amused for Ned's obsessions.
"Wow... He's literally parked right outside the restaurant. That can't be good." said Anne.
"It's not, customers are very confused right now."
They looked out a window where a man appears and is deciding which restaurant to go to, but he sees that they are both identical. He was confused.
Huh? HUH? I- I don't- What do I do? WHAT DO I DO?" The man yells and then sobs on the floor.
"(sighs) He means well but Ned just doesn't realize he's hurting the business. It's been weeks and he still hasn't budged." Mrs. Boonchuy explained. "Oh well, I better start the khao pad."
Once her mother went back to the kitchen, Sprig lowered his mask thinking about the food truck. He believes that the food truck is a threat to Anne's family business.
"Mmm... Tough problem, huh? Why, if someone were to solve it, your mom might consider him the son she never had."
"Sprig stay out of this." Anne warned him.
"OK OK... Sheesh. It was just a thought."
Anne returns to the kitchen. But Sprig leaves the restaurant since he has a plan. Suddenly, Mickey parked his car and got out along with Minnie, Donald, and Goofy as they walked to the restaurant.
"Well, here are...Thai Go." said Mickey.
"Ooh, that sounds lovely." said Minnie kindly.
"And delicious. Ah-hyuck." Goofy added.
"Oh boy! I'm starving." said Donald eagerly.
"Alright gang, this is where Anne and her parents are working here at the restaurant. Were here just for a visit to check on them."
"You got it, Mick." said Goofy.
Then Mickey and his friends enter the restaurant when the bell rang. Anne and her mother looked at their friends and smiled at them.
"Hello!" Minnie greeted.
"Hey guys!" Anne greeted them.
"Hiya Anne, ma'am." Mickey greeted.
"Hello Mickey, Minnie, welcome to Thai Go. What brings you here?" said Mrs. Boonchuy.
"We thought we could stop by for a visit. I kinda figured that I looked up the info where you folks are working" replied Mickey.
"And we are here to bring you a gift." said Minnie handing out a portrait.
Anne gently took the portrait from Minnie. She looked at it and smiled at the portrait which it turns out to be a picture from Mickey Mouse shorts where it shows Mickey and Minnie bowing each other in Thailand.
Anne remembers that one where she and her family watch Mickey's cartoon short last night at the House of Mouse. Then she looked at Mickey and Minnie smiling.
"Aww, thanks guys. You don't have to do that." said Anne.
"(giggled) Of course we can. We bought you a gift to respect your family's tradition." said Minnie.
"ขอขอบคุณ." (Thank you.) Anne thanked them speaking Thai.
"ด้วยความยินดี" (You're welcome.) replied Minnie speaking Thai and bowed to Anne.
"(giggled) It's nice of you to respect our tradition. I'll put this portrait somewhere." said Mrs. Boonchuy.
Anne give a picture frame to her mother and then put on the shelve with some decorations. Goofy noticed that there was a food truck outside.
"Say uh, isn't that your food truck?" Goofy asked.
"Oh, that's not our food truck. it belongs to Ned, our number one customer." replied Mrs. Boonchuy.
"Well, that's nice." said Goofy.
"But unfortunately, Ned wants me to share our families recipe so that he can share business with us."
"Oh, was it that bad?"
"Hardly. Anyway, have seat and we'll be right over."
"You got it!" said Mickey as he and his friends are sitting at the table looking at the menu.
Meanwhile, Ned places an order with a customer as he left.
"Here you go."
Then Sprig shows up in disguises with black coat and two cans underneath his feet.
"Oh... Hi, kid. What'll it be?" Ned asked.
Sprig clears his throat imitates a different voice.
"Give me the special."
"Sure thing." said Ned serving the special. "Two eggs rolls and a bowl of Pai Thai coming up."
Sprig receives the special and when he eats it he begins to make a dramatic scene causing some customers attention.
"Oh my frog! This food... it's turned me..." Sprig takes out his jacket and shows them his chest. "PIIIIIINK!"
The customers were standing there shocked, but instead, they were impressed believing that this food turned him into pink.
"Hey, I wouldn't mind being pink." said a customer.
"Heh?" Sprig confused.
"Maybe it will help me with my next Star Trip audition."
"Excuse me, I'll have whatever he had." Another customer added.
"Sure thing." replied Ned
"What? You fools! That was a lie. You're all morons." Sprig snapped
All three customers gasp.
"Who you calling a moron?"
Back at the restaurant, Mickey and his friends are looking at the menus while Anne and her mother are cleaning it up, but then they hear Sprig fighting with the three customers. They were shocked to see Sprig shouting at them.
"Morons! Morons! Morons! Morons! Morons!"
Anne and her mother ran outside angrily as they grab Sprig by their arms and carry him back to the restaurant leaving Ned and his customers.
"Oh hey. While you're in there, could you grab those recipes?"
Mrs. Boonchuy slams the door and puts Sprig on the counter. She makes annoying noise and starts scolding Anne.
"Anne, this behavior is unacceptable. I'm doubling your chores. Don't let it happened again." Mrs. Boonchuy warned Anne as she went back to the kitchen.
Anne was shocked that her mom scolded her and not at Sprig. Mickey and his friends were stunned when they witnessed. Sprig was all confused when he was not scolded by her mom. Anne sighed sadly when she resume her work by collecting silverware.
"Wait. Why'd she yell at you for something I did?" asked Sprig confused.
"She's not about to yell at a guest, Sprig. She only yells at family." replied Anne.
"Ouch, Anne. Thanks for rubbing it in." said Sprig with a sorry face.
"Look, Sprig, I know what you're doing here and I get why, but please stop or I'll be cleaning the bathroom with a toothbrush for the rest of my life." Anne goes back to the kitchen, but stops a moment. "Just knock it off, OK?"
Then she enters the kitchen. Sprig felt like Anne didn't deserved to be scolded, but he doesn't want to get himself into trouble in front of her parents. He mumbles in disappointed.
"Heh... Knock it off or knock it...ON?" Sprig pointed at Ned outside.
"I heard that!" Anne hollered.
"NO, YOU DIDN'T!" Sprig fled.
Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy were staring at Sprig when ran passed them. Then they took their glance at each other with concerned about the incident.
"Gwarsh, never seen her mom scolding at Anne like this before." said Goofy.
"Welcome to my life." Donald commented.
Suddenly, Mrs. Boonchuy approached carrying their meal and set it down at the table.
"Here you go. Sorry about little pink frog. He's like...well...misbehaved. Enjoy your meal."
Mrs. Boonchuy left as she head back to kitchen. They started to eat their meal. Especially for Donald when he took a bite of it. And he loved it.
"Oh boy!" said Donald.
"It sure delicious!" Goofy added when eating.
Before Minnie took another bite, she looked Mickey staring at his meal. She started to look concerned at Mickey.
"What's the matter, Mickey?" Minnie asked.
"Huh? Oh, sorry. I was just starting eating."
"You haven't eaten your meal. Is something wrong?"
"It's Sprig I'm worried about. Everything is all calm until there was a ruckus. I better go talk to her later." said Mickey as he took a glanced at Donald. "And Donald, keep an extra eye on him."
"What? Why me?" Donald whined.
"Because you've been pranked by Polly and your nephews. Remember?" said Goofy reminded Donald.
"Aw phooey." Donald mumbled.
Later that night, the van has arrived at the building where people rent. The Pines Family got out from the vehicle while they took their luggage's out. Stan gave some cash to the driver and walked off. They have entered the lobby as they approached at the front desk.
"Is this where we sleeping?" Dipper asked.
"Yes, this is where we'll be staying until we get to the bottom of this." replied Ford.
"Well this seems nice." Mabel comments.
"(scoff) Oh please, I can't sleep with boys where we shared rooms." said Pacifica when took a glanced at Dipper. "No offense."
"None taken." said Dipper.
"C'mon Pacifica, we get to spend night like sleep over. It's too bad that Candy and Grenda won't be joining us." said Mabel.
"It's alright Mabel, I'm sure they'll be back from boating trip."
"She's right, Mabes. You still got us." Wendy added.
"I guess you're right. So, who's hungry?"
"We do!" Dipper, Pacifica, and Wendy all said together.
"You kids go ahead and get some pizza or something. We'll take care of your stuff." Stan suggested.
"Are you sure you're not coming with us?" Mabel asked.
"Don't worry pumpkin, I'll look after your pig while Sixers will take your luggage." replied Stan. "Me and my best bro."
"Hmm...Okay!"
"Now don't go too far, because this city's may be pretty, but it's far too risky." said Ford reminded them.
"Yeah, there are couple of burglars out there." Pacifica commented.
"Pfft, we'll be fine. No worries. Now wants some pizza!" said Mabel.
"Pizza! Pizza! Pizza! Pizza! Pizza!" The teens chanted as they left the building leaving Stan and Ford with Waddles.
"Heh heh, kids. Get's em' every time." Stan chuckled.
"Are you sure this a good idea?" said Ford concerned about their safety.
"Relax sixer, they're not kids anymore. Well, except that they're still thirteen."
"Let's not forget the last time when they wish at the wishing fountain."
(Flashback starts)
It shows Dipper and Mabel as eighteen years old standing by the wishing fountain, but they didn't noticed that there was a warning sign. Mabel tossed a coin to make a wish.
"I wish we were young again like old times." said Mabel.
"I wouldn't be so sure if it's possible." said Dipper concerned about the fountain.
(Flashback ends)
"Right, forget about that." Stan remembers that.
"And that's not all, Dipper and Mabel reverted back into young age by accident along with their friends and their parents totally freaked out." said Ford
"Look, I'm sure we'll find a way to change them back. What could possibly go wrong."
Back at Thai Go, Mickey and his friends already finished their meal while sitting all day. Donald went bored while it last. Minnie is looking up at her phone chatting with her friends while Goof is taking a little nap.
"How long have we been sitting here?" said Donald bored.
"In about three hours." replied Minnie.
"(sigh) Why is it always me?"
Mickey looked at his watch when he got off from the table.
"I better go talk her. Be right back." said Mickey when he went to the kitchen.
Mrs. Boonchuy noticed when Mickey went to the kitchen while cleaning the table. She started to wonder what he's been up to. Mickey entered the kitchen where Anne is tying up a knot for the garbage bag.
"Excuse me, can we talk?" Mickey asked.
"Sure, what's up?" said Anne looking at Mickey.
"Is everything okay back there? What was that all about?"
"(sigh) Can I be honest with you? What happen back there when Ned has a food truck and Sprig tries to do something that he couldn't do. I'm sorry you have to see my mom scolding that if Sprig misbehaving again, then I'll have to use a toothbrush to clean the bathroom for the rest of my life."
"Gosh, that's a little harsh." Mickey commented.
"Nah, it's fine. Sprig is just...well...being Sprig."
"Can't say I blamed you, but he's a good kid."
"Yeah, he always wanted to be a part of the family ever since he and Polly lost his parents." said Anne sadly.
Mickey changed his expression. He felt sorry for Sprig and Polly when they lost heir parents. He rubbed his arm softly. He knew most kids lost their parents, but for Sprig and Polly, they seemed lonely, but they were both raised by Hop Pop when he's around.
"Gosh, I'm sorry to hear this." Mickey apologize.
"It's okay. At least Hop Pop was there to look after them. I sure wish Sprig has some conscience."
"Don't worry Anne, I'm sure Sprig will have some conscience someday. I hope."
From the outside of the restaurant, Sprig in his usual clothes sneaks into Ned's truck, while he is wearing headphones at full music while cleaning. Sprig comes up with a plan is sabotaged his truck so that he could earn some respect and dreamed to be part of Anne's family. He leaves him a note and snaps at him for attention. Ned reads the note and begins to rejoice.
"OH yes! YES! YES! FINALLY! NED'S GONNA GET AHEAD, BABY!" Ned cheered when he got out from the food truck.
Sprig got into the food truck very quietly without getting caught. He takes a toothpick.
"And now to destroy an earth man's livelihood."
He takes more toothpicks and puts them in his mouth, but then spits them out. Meanwhile, Anne goes out to dump a garbage bag gloomily a bit. Maybe she felt like her Sprig deserve a second chance, but then she sees Sprig what he does and she drops the garbage bag.
"Oh no."
"Sprig Boonchuy in 3...2...1..." Sprig was about to do something, but Anne interferes.
"No, Sprig! Bad Sprig! What are you doing?" exclaimed Anne.
"Squirming my way into your mom's heart by making this food truck disappear." Sprig claimes it as he starts pushing some buttons.
"Not on my watch!"
Anne furious enters the food truck through the window and grabs Sprig with all her strength, but he tries to free himself. But inadvertently, Sprig flips the drive lever and the food truck begins to move forward.
Meanwhile from the inside of the restaurant, Mrs. Boonchuy had a conversation with Ned while Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy are watching the conversation. Mrs. Boonchuy was getting annoyed at Ned's obsessions.
"Ned, I don't have time for this nonsense."
"Uh, but your note said-"
"Note?"
Mrs. Boonchuy reads the note, which says "Neddy, come to my restaurant right away. Let's discuss my recipes. Mrs. B." She was a bit confused at first.
"Wait... "Mrs. B"?" Then she realized that it was Sprig that wrote down the note. She started to get furious. "PINK FROOOOOOOOOG!"
"Uh oh." said Donald worrying.
Then they notice that the food truck is going thanks to Anne and Sprig fighting over. They quickly exited the restaurant in a hurry. They were completely shocked and horrified that the food truck left off.
"MY FOOD TRUCK!" exclaimed Ned. "YOUR FOOD TRUCK! exclaimed Mrs. Boonchuy.
"Follow that truck!" Mickey yells.
Mickey, Donald, and Goofy ran after the food truck that's been rolling down the street leaving Minnie, Mrs. Boonchuy, and Ned behind. They ran as fast as they could by catching up with the food truck. Mickey first jumped through the window followed by Donald and Goofy.
Once they got inside, they see Anne and Sprig continue fighting, but when they turn the tipper by mistake and feel a little jump, they notice that the food truck is moving forward in a hurry. Mickey has to stop the fight before things could get worst.
"Anne! Sprig! Stop fighting!" Mickey yells.
"Break it up you two! Break it up!" Donald yells as he use his arm to break up the fight.
"Donald! Can't you see I'm-" Anne paused for a moment.
Both kids realize that the food truck is moving fast. They both scream.
"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!" Srpig screams.
"HOLY CRAB APPLES!" Anne exclaimed.
"When did we start moving?!" Sprig frantic.
"You two were fighting over a truck!" replied Donald.
Anne quickly sits on a driver and fasten her seatbelts. Anne has never drove a food truck before despite driving a snail. Sprig quickly sits on the passenger seat, while Mickey, Donald, and Goofy were holding onto something.
"Okay, I've never driven a car, but I have driven Bessie and played 900 hours of Super Wario Carts." said Anne.
"Was it related to Mario Kart?" Goofy asked curiously.
"Wait a minute! You're too young to drive!" Donald frantic.
"ANNE, LOOK OUT!" Sprig shouted pointed at the tree.
Anne tries to turn the wheels left to avoid the tree, but she starts to get nervous. Goofy chattered his teeth when shaking. Donald starts to pray mumbling.
"Uh...uh...brakes! Gotta smash the brakes!" Anne frantics.
She puts on the brakes, but it doesn't work. She started to panic.
"The brakes aren't working!"
She looks at a note taped above, which says, "Ned, You rascal, don't forget to fix the breaks. Ned". Then she started to get annoyed.
"NEEEEEED!" Anne shouts.
"It's OK, Anne. I've got this." said Sprig as he hops on trying to break the mp3 player. "Whoa, girl. Whoa!" "DUDE, THAT ONLY WORKS ON SNAILS!" shouted Anne when Sprig let go of the mp3 player.
"HOW CAN YOU DRIVE A SNAIL?!" shouted Donald.
"THAT'S BECAUSE BESSIE IS FROM AMPHIBIA!" Sprig shouted back at Donald.
"WHY ARE WE YELLING ABOUT?!" Goofy shouted.
Then they sees a pile of garbage and then they all scream. Mickey, Donald, and Goofy are clinging onto each other while screaming. Fortunately, Anne was able to get through that pile and they are relieved, but then she sees another obstacle which turns out to be a turtle.
"OOOH NOOOO!"
They ran into a turtle hiding from its shell upon seeing them, but flipped off by the turtle shell. They're come back up in the air while Goofy screams.
"YAAAAAAA-HOO-HOO-HOO-HOOEY!"
Two men are shown passing a giant TV while they meet outside on their balconies.
"Thanks for letting me borrow your TV."
"Just be careful. This thing is like a son for me."
Then suddenly, the food truck goes straight through the TV, causing it to break while the other man shouted horrified.
"JUNIOOOR!"
The food truck returns to the ground and they are about to go through a skate park. Anne got an idea.
"Idea. Sprig, I need your help. Use that tongue and help me make a hard left." said Anne.
"Got it." said Sprig.
He jumps over Anne when sticks his tongue out and holds onto a pole. A woman was standing by the pole, but a tongue shows when she notice this as they started to spin. Anne grabs grab Sprig when he felt like it hurts and manages to turn the truck towards the skate park. Donald thought that it was crazy.
"ARE YOU INSANE?! WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!" Donald panicked.
"No we're not! Hold on!" said Anne.
Meanwhile in the skate park, Dipper, Mabel, Wendy, and Pacifica are strolling through the skate park while eating their pizzas on their paper plate.
"Man, this pizza was so delicious." said Wendy.
"Yeah, as long as Mabel doesn't put some glitter on it." said Dipper.
"What? It's all about art." Mabel denied it.
"Mabel, putting glitter on pizza is not healthy. How bad can it be if something else bad happens to you or any of us." said Pacifica.
"Wait, do you hear that?" Dipper halted when he heard something.
A group of skateboarders do their thing, but the truck crash through the wooden fence when they walk away from avoiding getting rammed over. The teens were shocked that the food truck has crashed through the skate park.
"What the heck?!" Dipper stunned.
They pass through 4 pools, while Anne, Sprig, Mickey, Donald, and Goofy are screaming while the skateboarders cheer and record them. The truck skids on a sidewalk and goes down a ramp with loop and manages to end up on the ground without moving further, although it has been broken in many places.
Dipper, Mabel, Pacifica, and Wendy ran over by the stairs and they stared at the truck while blinking their eyes. Their jaws were dropped.
"Is that a food truck?" confused Pacifica.
Anne and her friends were paralyzed, but they survived the crash. They were shocked at first.
"Is it over?" Goofy asked quietly
"I don't believe it." said Anne.
"We..." Sprig paused for a moment.
"DID IT!"
Suddenly, both Mrs. Boonchuy and Ned open the door as they look annoyed while Minnie crosses her arm. Anne and Sprig realized that they were in both trouble. Mickey, Donald, and Goofy were nervous a bit.
"Uh oh." said Donald.
"I don't believe this." said Mrs. Boonchuy annoyed.
"Me either. You send your daughter to destroy my truck? What? Are you people insane?!" Ned exclaimed.
"HEY! Back off, fatso!" Donald snapped at Ned when got out from the truck.
"DONALD! Control yourself!" Mickey scolded Donald.
"You said to watch Sprig!"
Sprig quickly put on his disguises as he jumped out from the truck to stop the argument. He cannot let Anne get herself into trouble. Not now.
"Anne had NOTING to do with this, it was ALL me. I was just..." He looks at Mrs. Boonchuy. And then he takes off his hat for a moment. "I just wanted to be a part of the family, but I should've respected your boundaries instead of pestering you into something you didn't want."
Mrs. Boonchuy felt touched. She started to realize that Sprig was telling the truth. She started to think about what she overheard when Anne and Mickey are having their chat from the kitchen. She walks over to Sprig and gets on her knees.
"(sigh) It's OK, pink frog... I mean, Sprig. I know how much you mean to my daughter and how much she means to you. I probably shouldn't have treated you like such an outsider."
As Anne gets out of the truck along with Mickey and Goofy stand besides Donald and Minnie. Anne puts on a compliment face. They all started to smile. Even the teens are watching from the stairs when they're smiling as well.
"Aww" Mabel cooed.
Suddenly, Ned started to cry after he heard everything.
"I feel like and outsider too. I love your restaurant so much. I just wanted to be a part of it but...but I was wrong." Ned falls to the ground and sobs more. "I'm so sorry... I'm done trying to get your recipes... I just realized this is a gross appropriation of your culture and I should just show myself out."
Mrs. Boonchuy felt bad about Ned. She maybe annoyed about him, but deep down, he was a nice guy. Then she had made her decision.
"(sigh) Ned, look. I can't give you the recipes because they are for family only but... we could use some help with deliveries."
Ned stop crawling when he overheard what she just said.
"D...Deliver? Me?"
"I mean, it won't pay much but you will be part of the restaurant."
"Yes! I'd love to. Oh, you will not regret it, Mrs. Boonchuy. Not for a second." Ned cheered as as he goes to his food truck when drove away. "Whoo-hoo! Yay! I'll make you guys proud! Oh, man. I got to get these brakes fixed."
After he left, all that's left is Anne, Sprig, her mother, and her friends. Sprig put his hat back on and took off the mask.
"Welp, I guess we're all done here." said Sprig
He was about to leave. but Anne's mother grabbed his hoodie when she's mad.
"Not so fast." said Mrs. Boonchuy picks him from his vest cap. "If you think you're getting out of here without an earful, you've got another thing coming. Firstly, how dare you disobey me? Secondly, how dare you put Anne and yourself in danger? Thirdly, why are you smiling?"
"You're...you're scolding me. Which means..."
"Yep. You're family now, bud." said Anne.
"YAAAAY!"
Sprig cheers as he give Anne's mother a hug. Mickey and his friends felt that it was warmhearted sequence.
"Aawww" Donald cooed.
"That was so beautiful." said Minnie.
"It sure was." Goofy agrees.
"I'm glad that Sprig has finally got what he deserved. A family." said Mickey.
"Yeah." Donald agrees.
"Already having second thoughts about this." said Mrs. Boonchuy.
"Okay, now that is over, wanna head back to Thai Go?" Anne asked.
"Yes, let's all head back and closed it up."
"YEAH!" All friends are cheering.
They walked off as they went to their car in separate ways. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy went to his car while Anne and her mother to their car when holding Sprig looking at him.
"Am I in trouble?" Sprig asked.
"Yes and no. Don't you worry. I'll be right with you." replied Mrs. Boonchuy.
Sprig hugged her once more when he smiled. He finally got what he needed was a family. A mother. By the time they left as they drove away from the skate park, the teens were still there as they witnessed the whole thing.
"What was that all about?" Wendy asked.
"Yeah, Mickey and his friends are with them. What do you think, Dipper?" said Mabel.
But she looked at her twin brother staring at the scene. Dipper started to think about Anne. He quickly pulled out his phone and search through the web until he looked through a social. His eyes went wide when he realize that it was her. Mabel, Pacifica, and Wendy were over looking at Dipper's phone.
"Wait, is that..." said Pacifica thinking.
"You don't think that's her. Right?" Mabel asked.
Dipper keeps staring at the post where it shows picture of Anne that was posted by Daisy. He looked up at the Boonchuys car that was already drove away. He finally realize that rumors are true.
"We gotta tell our grunkles."
