A/N: Holy crap everyone. Let's just all take a collective deep breath please. You all were 50/50 on last chapter. Let me explain a few things.

Eric knows the Torres Company and by association, family, is worth Billions of dollars. That is Billions with a B. He was never going to accept like $100k….

It is not about the money for Arizona. She paid him that to show that she would give up everything for Callie and Sofia. I feel some of you missed that.

Eric was threatening to leak intimate photos of Callie…. a mother…. a businesswoman….to the public. That is a big deal. Had there been no photos, Arizona would have let them fight in court because he did have a history of saying he didn't want Sofia. Again, I think some of you missed that.

I received THREE messages basically saying I ruined my own story. Come on…. It was one chapter. Life is not rainbows and butterflies. Bad shit happens. Just calm down and trust where I am taking this. Ruining the story would have been having Callie run off with Eric and living happily ever after.

Just pump the breaks everyone. ALLLLLLLLL of this will come to a head in the next few chapters. We ALL know Carlos Torres does not put up with shit…

Chapter 40

TWO MONTHS LATER

Arizona's POV

Two months. Two glorious months in Miami with the two loves of her life. Yeah, she said it. Loves of her life.

The three weeks or so after the Eric saga was tough. Arizona watched the house she put a bid on be sold, and when she logged into her online banking she cringed for a while. Callie had tried to pay her back multiple times, but Arizona wouldn't allow it. It wasn't about the money. It was about making sure that her girls were safe and secure. Eric immediately signed everything, and all his devices were wiped clean, including his cloud. Her very well-paid IT team ensured that there was zero trace of anything Callie left in his online footprint. Callie had tried to play it off initially but when Arizona got the final call that everything was handled, she saw the spark return to her lover's eyes. It was weighing heavily on both of them. They had both agreed that they would not speak of this again, and they needed to move on, they both deserved it.

Arizona had comfortably moved in with Callie and Sofia. It was a seamless transition. She loved being the one to take Sofia to school in the mornings and be there when both her girls returned later in the afternoon. Arizona did struggle with her lack of things to do initially. But she eventually grew more comfortable cleaning the house, doing laundry, and other domestic tasks. At first, she felt like a guest. Now, this was her home. Callie and Arizona had not yet spoke about the permanence of it, but Arizona knew there was no where out there she would rather live.

The day after the Eric saga finally ended, it was time to head to Disney World for Sofia's birthday. The trip could be summed up in one word…. magic. The joy on the little Latina's face was contagious. They rode every ride, ate more than they ever should have, and the amount of pictures Arizona had on her cloud was easily in the thousands.

Flash Back

"Arizona! Come on. I REALLLY want to go on Space Mountain. It isn't even that scary!" Sofia pleaded. Arizona heard Callie chuckling behind her mini me.

"Sof. Let's just go and Arizona can meet us when we are done." Callie tried to save the blonde.

"No, Mami! I want to sit next to Arizona. Pleaseeeee. I will hold your hand and keep you safe. PROMISE." The serious look on her face made Arizona smile.

Arizona Robbins did NOT do roller coasters. Nope. Pair that with a roller coaster in the pitch-black darkness. Noooo thank you. But the little girl who held half her heart was making a very strong argument.

"I don't know Sofia. I don't really like roller coasters…." Arizona tried one more time.

"But you HAVE to be brave! Just like me when I had to get my shots at the doctors. I was brave and it wasn't even that bad." Sofia explained, like it was the simplest thing in the world.

"Sofia…you cried for two hours…" Callie tried to explain.

"Mami! That is NOT helping." Sofia shot her mother a glare. "If you really don't want to go. I won't force you. I just thought it would be fun to do together." Sofia was laying it on thick and Arizona's resolve was crumbling.

"Fine!" Arizona huffed and stormed off to the entrance. Before she got there a little hand was placed in hers and the most breathtaking smiles were being directed at her from her favorite people.

End Flashback

When they returned from Disney World Sofia only had about a week or so left of school. They were currently about a month into Sofia's summer break. Callie was still working but she had been able to regulate her schedule with the addition of Colleen at the front desk. Things had been going great. Sofia and Arizona had spent more time together than Arizona ever anticipated. But today…. today was a big day. Today Arizona would be taking Sofia to The Calliope and they would be golfing together. Arizona woke up at 6am that morning. She had to get everything ready. She was acting like a kid on Christmas!

She flipped on the pot of coffee, knowing that would earn her some brownie points with her love. She ran out to her car to grab the surprise she had purchased for Sofia the day before. Her very own golf clubs. A mini version of the ones Arizona used. Now, she knew that she should not have spent that much on a first set of clubs, but she couldn't resist. Placing everything perfectly so Sofia would see it when she came out of her room, she started on breakfast. As she was flipping one of the chocolate chip pancakes, her and Sofia's favorite, she felt two arms wrap around her stomach.

"Good Morning" Callie whispered in her ear.

Melting back into her lover's embrace Arizona smiled her response. "Good Morning, Beautiful." Callie kissed up her neck and nuzzled into her both of them content just standing there a moment.

"You are up pretty early today." Callie states. Arizona watches as Callie walks over and pours herself a giant cup of coffee. Arizona had never seen anyone consume as much caffeine as her Calliope.

"Today is a big day. A HUGE day. I needed to get everything ready." Arizona prepares a plate for the brunette and places it in front of her. Glancing at the clock, she sees that she would have to be waking Sofia soon.

Callie just laughs. "Arizona. I need you to make sure your expectations of today are reasonable. She has never golfed before, and never shown any interest before you. She will have no idea what she is doing. Plus, she is my daughter. She is pretty stubborn."

"HA! You don't say. Living with you two is like watching a hostage negotiation. I know she is stubborn… Listen. We all start somewhere. I am just excited to share this with her. We will have fun. If after two holes she hates it, we leave. No fuss." Arizona tried to pretend like she would be fine with that.

Callie's POV

Callie woke to the smell of coffee and bacon. Her blonde was already awake. Rolling over she saw it was 6:45. 15 minutes until her alarm. Deciding to get up she busied herself getting ready for the day. It was a Friday so today was the last day of her long work week. Things had continued to be busy since The Race, but between her, Mark, and Colleen they were doing well.

Walking out into the living room Callie just smiled. A perfect pink set of miniature golf clubs, pink golf balls, a white and pink polo, and pink golf gloves were set out. Arizona's gift to Sofia. Today was the day where Arizona was going to attempt to teach Sofia to golf. Sofia had been asking since the week she met Arizona to go golfing, but Callie had zero idea what to do there. The first two months of Arizona's time in Miami just did not allow for the lesson to happen. Between getting the blonde settled, Disney, finding their groove, they had been busy.

Seeing Arizona at the stove flipping pancakes made Callie feel a sense of peace she didn't even know she craved. Arizona had seamlessly joined her and Sofia in their home. She was reserved at first, but it seems her blonde was finally settling in. Callie wanted to ask Arizona to stay permanently, but she felt 3 and a half months of dating was too soon to ask. She would be sure to ask before Arizona left for her first tournament though. She needed the blue-eyed beauty to know this was her home and Sofia and Callie would be here after every tournament for her to come home to.

"So…what time are you two headed out?" Callie asked after diving into her delicious pancakes.

"Probably about 9? I don't want it to be too hot for her."

"For her…." Callie jokes.

She watches as Arizona rolls her eyes at her. It has been a running joke since The Race how the blonde can not handle the Miami heat. She still has to laugh every time Arizona complains that her clothes are sticking to her. It is just something that Callie is used to by now.

"Want to meet for lunch? I am only going to have her do 9 so we should be done by lunch time." Arizona asks.

"Of course I want to do lunch. My Dad is onsite today so do you mind if he joins?" Carlos has been requesting time with Callie for the last month in a half. Callie knows what he wants to discuss so she has been avoiding him. But you can only avoid Carlos Torres for so long.

"Finally meeting with him? Ha. Good luck." Arizona continues to clean the kitchen. Before Callie can even respond a fresh cup of coffee is placed in front of her. Arizona kisses her cheek and heads off to go wake Sofia.

Arizona's POV

"Good Morning pretty girl." Arizona whispers as she turns on Sofia's light.

"Hmmmmmm" Sofia mumbles. This girl loves sleep. She gets it from her mother. Arizona thought to herself.

"Time to wake up Sof." Arizona walks towards the girl's bed and starts to rub her back.

"Not yeeet." Sofia whines. Arizona just laughs.

"Welllll I guess I will just have to eat these pancakes myself. Then head out to the course alllll alone." Arizona fakes sadness and gets up to moves towards the door.

"WAIT! I forgot that was today." Sofia jumps out of bed and almost trips as she runs out the door towards the kitchen. "Slow down Sofia." Arizona yells after her.

She watches as the little Latina sprints down the hallway towards her destination. She can't help but chuckle as she sees the little girl come to a screeching halt, no doubt seeing her gifts displayed in the living room. Sofia's head immediately snaps backwards to look at Arizona and the smile she is met with makes her heart soar. "Is this mine?" she asks. Arizona nods her head indicating it is all hers. Then, because this is Sofia, the shriek of excitement is enough to break glass.

"Sofia. Come on. Take it down a notch." She hears Callie comment. The little girl has a habit of screaming and Callie is desperately trying to break it. Arizona insists that it is normal, but Callie won't have it. It seems Sofia's teacher commented on it last year, so Arizona just concedes to Callie. They never had the discipline conversation and Arizona doesn't ever intend on overstepping.

"Mami do you see all of this!? Arizona got it for me. We are going golfing today and I am going to be the best." Sofia seems to have gravitated towards the pancakes and bacon just like her mother.

The rest of their morning together is spent enjoying each other's company. When Callie leaves for work she promises to meet the two for lunch. With a kiss from her brunette, Arizona is left with a very excited Sofia.

Today is going to be a great day.

Callie's POV

Callie is currently standing on the porch of The Calliope's café. She is watching as a beautiful blonde is standing behind Sofia showing her how to swing a golf club. The smile on Arizona's face is the biggest she has ever seen. She watches as Sofia seems to be hanging on Arizona's every word. Never has she witnessed her daughter so engaged in something. Arizona would really be a good mother. Woah. Slow down. That conversation is for waaaay down the line. Callie is brought out of her daydream by the booming sound of her favorite man's voice.

"Calliope! Finally making time for your dear old dad." Her father approaches her and wraps her in a hug so warm that it can only only comes from her father This is only the second time she has seen her father since the Eric situation. They are opening a hotel in Paris and he has been overseeing a lot of the operations. There had been a few hiccups that has kept him out of the country for quite some time.

"Dad…you have been gone for over a month. Don't act like I have been avoiding you."

"You have been avoiding me, Calliope. We both know why." Carlos gives her a look letting her know she has not been fooling anyone. Callie just looks out at the golf course, reveling in the sight before her. Carlos follows her gaze and lands on Sofia and Arizona.

"She is great with her." Carlos states. No question in his statement.

"Amazing." Callie agrees.

"We need to talk about what she did…." Carlos interrupts the peaceful moment.

"Why? It is over and done with." Callie doesn't want to revisit this topic. It had been so good to put it behind them.

"I told you I would handle it Calliope. She made a mistake." Carlos loved Arizona but he didn't agree with what she did.

"If you knew the full story, I think you would understand." Callie coldly replied. Carlos didn't know about the photos. Callie didn't really want him to. Not an ideal conversation to have with your father.

"Then why don't you tell me? I want to understand Calliope. I do a background check on every person we get into business with. She gave up a lot when she made this decision." Carlos felt helpless. He was the one who was supposed to catch his daughter when she needed it. He was not dealing with relinquishing control very well.

"You think I don't know that? She had an offer on a house. She doesn't know her realtor is Aria's best friend. She had an offer on a beautiful home to come live down here to be with us. She withdrew the offer the day after everything happened. I KNOW what she gave up. I might not know her financial situation intimately, but I know she no longer had enough to buy that house. So, with all due respect Daddy, don't question what I know." Callie felt guilty every single day for what happened. She tried to pay Arizona back so many times. Finally, during her last attempt the cold response she got from Arizona told her that it was time to drop it.

"I am going to write her a check." Carlos responded like it was a simple solution.

"She won't take it." Callie turned to face her father. "I tried. I tried so many times to give her the money back." Callie started to tear up. She took a deep breath. "Eric had photos of me…and him. Photos not meant to ever see the light of day." Callie watched as her father took the information in. She saw the flash of disappointment. "Trust me, Daddy. I am not proud of the fact. I was young and dumb." Carlos just nodded. "THAT is why Arizona paid him. He threatened to leak them. Make them public. Arizona wouldn't allow him to hurt Sofia, and I like that. She didn't even blink, Dad. Didn't even flinch when she gave away everything to protect me. Protect Sofia. How…how do I repay that?" Callie had been internalizing all of this. It felt good to finally get it all out.

"Love her. Love her the way she so clearly loves you and Sofia." Carlos stated with every bit of conviction.

"I already do. I am going to marry her, Daddy." Callie redirected her attention to Arizona and Sofia as Sofia hit a great putt. She watched her daughter jump up and down as it dropped into the hole.

"I wouldn't accept anything less. She is what I always wanted for you and I didn't even know it." Carlos cleared his through, trying to hide the emotion. "I am going to advance her sales of her merchandise. It equals about 6 million. It is in her contract to be paid over a few years' time, but what she did for you…. for Sofia…. I know it is not about the money but has already been deposited into her business account." Carlos pulls out his phone and sends off a text message. Leaving no room for argument.

Callie turned to her father, tears in her eyes. "Thank you, Daddy" She wraps his in a huge hug. Finally, Arizona is getting her money back. Carlos smiles at his daughter. Looking down at his phone he adds "We have a meeting with Raymond today at 5. I want Arizona there too. Aria is taking Sofia." Carlos straightened his pristine suit.

"Why are we meeting with your lawyer….?" Callie asks, very confused.

"Because Calliope. We are. Just trust your father okay?" Callie just nods. She knew her Dad and knew arguing was pointless.

Callie watched as Arizona and Sofia headed in their direction hand in hand. They looked like they were having the time of their life. Callie was happy to have Arizona here with them. She was dreading sending the blonde off in just a few months. But for now, she would enjoy their time together. Starting with lunch.

Arizona's POV

"Okay. Now, turn your hips like this as you swing the club." Arizona explains as she moves Sofia's hips in a fluid motion. The two of them have been out on the course for about an hour and a half and Sofia was soaking the information Arizona was giving her like a sponge. Very few people impressed Arizona when it came to golf, but Sofia was blowing her away. The youngster was a natural. Arizona felt like a kid in a candy store. She had someone to share her passion with.

"Like this?" Sofia asked.

"Just like that, Sof. You are doing SO well. Are you having fun?" Arizona held her breath, waiting for the response.

"YES! This is SO much fun." Sofia responded, giddy to be spending time with her favorite person.

"Good. Maybe we can try a few holes after lunch? You have the basics down and I think it is time to apply the lesson to the game." Arizona replies, packing up the golf clubs. Before she can lift them a Calliope employee is at her side waiting to take them. Arizona just smiles at him, knowing Calliope had something to do with it.

"Let's go grab some lunch. I see your mom and Abuelo right over there." Arizona watches Callie and Carlos. They seem to be wrapping up a heated discussion. She waits until Callie turns towards her, giving her a smile letting her know that it is safe to approach.

The lunch passes quickly, Sofia briefing Carlos and Callie on every little detail she has learned. Once lunch wraps up Carlos says goodbye and heads out. As Arizona and Sofia head back to the course Callie pulls Arizona aside.

"We have a meeting with my Dad tonight. Don't ask me why because I don't know, but just trust me okay?" Arizona freezes. She knows exactly what the meeting will be about, and she doesn't want to deal with this anymore. It is over. Done with.

"Cal- "she is cut off. "Arizona. Please. I promise this is just to pacify my dad. Please." Callie all but begs.

Arizona huffs. "Fine. But you owe me…I expect to be paid back…." Arizona whispers to Callie.

Callie just laughs. "With sexual favors." Arizona breaths into Callie's ear. Making sure there was zero doubt.

"Yes dear." Callie laughs. She says her goodbye to Sofia and heads off towards the inside of the hotel.

Arizona and Sofia head off to start their first round together. Remembering the difficulty of the course Arizona makes sure to explain to Sofia that it might be hard, and she doesn't expect anything. She just wants them to have fun.

Teeing off on the first hole Sofia drives the ball about 100 yards, which is impressive for a 7-year-old…. what is even more impressive is how straight the drive is.

"Nice job Sof!" Arizona cheers.

Arizona steps up to the tee box and drives the ball about 200 yards, taking her usual "umph" off of the ball. She hears Sofia shriek and clap behind her. This is going to be a good day.

Carrying a sleeping Sofia into the house Arizona is absolutely beaming. They had so much fun, and Sofia had already asked if they could go back out soon. The little girl had raw natural talent and Arizona was looking forward to passing her love and respect of the game onto her. Maybe they could get Callie out on the course too!

When Arizona walks in she is met with Aria, Allegra, Aurora, and Mark. She gives them all a smile and walks Sofia into her room. She would have to be woken up soon so she wouldn't be up all night, but it had been a taxing day for the little girl. Laying her down and kissing her forehead, Arizona walks out to the living room.

"Hey guys, she is wiped. We had a big day. Can you wake her up in like half an hour? I don't want her up all night." Arizona asked as she grabbed her keys. She was meeting Carlos and Callie at The Calliope for this mystery meeting.

"Sure thing. We will see you in bit." Aria smiled. She was loving the motherly role Arizona was playing in her niece's life. She had never seen Callie or Sofia so happy.

Glancing at her watch, Arizona heads for the door. She has about 30 minutes to get to this meeting. As much as she doesn't want to go, she would never blow off Carlos and Callie.

Callie's POV

Callie is sitting in the conference room of The Calliope with her father and her family's attorney, Raymond. She has no idea why they are here and why her father refuses to tell her anything before Arizona gets here. Just as she is about to ask for the hundredth time, she sees Arizona walk through the door.

"Sorry I am late. No one seemed to know which room you guys were in." Arizona walks up to Callie and places a kiss on her cheek. Shaking Carlos's hand and being introduced to Raymond, Callie sits and waits.

"I know you both are confused why we are here." Carlos states. He is in business mode.

"I want to let you know; Eric has been arrested." Raymond chimes in.

Silence….

"Um. Excuse me?" Arizona is the first to speak up. Callie can't seem to make her mouth move.

"Have you ever heard of revenge porn laws?" Raymond asks, reaching into his briefcase.

Arizona and Callie both shake their head. Neither of them really knew what to say to that question.

"Basically, if someone blackmails another person with intimate photos or videos they are breaking the law. It is a bit more involved than that, but that is the high-level explanation of it." Raymond states matter of fact.

"Wait. You told your Dad about that?" Arizona asks. Callie had mentioned how she wanted to leave that part out. Nodding at Arizona she sees the surprise in her eyes. She waits for her to show any signs of anger but to no surprise, there is none. The blonde just reaches over and grabs Callie's hand.

"Okay. So, what now?" Callie finally finds her voice.

"Well, it seems The Lucia in Boston has footage of the confrontation. With audio." Carlos just smiles. Callie has to chuckle because she knows what her Dad is thinking. They fought tooth and nail over the thousands of extra dollars the security cameras with audio would cost. Clearly it paid off. "We turned it over to the police in Boston and the Miami sheriff arrested Eric this afternoon. He will not be an issue moving forward. They also arrested a George O'Malley as an accessory. It seems he sought Eric out and they formed this plan together. The NDA still applies. All of this will be off the record. The paperwork that he signed about Sofia is valid as well. I just need you both to write up your statements so we can send them to the court. It is really just a formality at this point since everything was recorded." Raymond slides over two pads of paper to the stunned women.

"It goes without saying O'Malley is done in the PGA. His sponsorships have all been revoked and the PGA is putting out a formal statement. He is banned for life." Carlos winked at Arizona.

"Now..Arizona. I don't want you to take any offence to my next statement." Carlos sits up straight. "Paying Eric was a mistake. I know why you did it and it make me that much more confident that you are the perfect person for Calliope and Sofia. I need you to know that I have attorney and various other services at my disposal, and I hope in the future you will come to me first. But I do need to say thank you. Thank you for defending and protecting my girls. The funds you paid have been reimbursed to your account." Arizona goes to argue but Carlos just puts his hand up effectively silencing her. "They will be formally repaid by Eric once the courts and such work it out. However, right now there is 6 million which your merchandise has earned already in your business account. I will not accept it back. End of discussion." Carlos and Raymond exchange a look and Raymond gets up to leave.

"Just get those to me by Monday if you don't mind. I am happy this all worked out for your family, Carlos." Raymond waves as he exits.

"Carlos, I don't know what to say…" Arizona looks like she is on the verge of tears.

"There is nothing to say, Ms. Robbins. Continue to love my girls the way you do." He hugs Arizona and exits the room.

Callie turns to Arizona and tries to read her. The woman has a hell of a poker face.

"Arizona…." Callie whispers.

Arizona turns to look at Callie and starts laughing. Uncontrollable laughter that then turns into uncontrollable crying.

"Arizona. What-what's wrong?" Callie asks, concern evident in her voice.

"N-nothing. I-it is just so ridiculous. H-how all of this played out. I don't e-even know what to say." Arizona chokes out between tears and laughter. At this point Callie is concerned Arizona has lost it.

"Um okay?"

"I-I'm okay Calliope. I p-promise. Today was just a lot of emotions." Callie allows Arizona to take a minute to digest everything that just happens. She needs a minute too. Everything worked out perfectly and Callie is just so grateful she never has to hear the name Eric or George again.

Arizona regains her composure and pecks Callie's lips. "Let's just grab some dinner and go home okay?" Smiling at Arizona's use of the word home Callie just nods. "You're buying" Callie jokes. Arizona laughs at her statement and grabs Callie's hand.

A/N: A review just before I publish this caught on to where this is going. You can't blackmail people with photos and videos…it is illegal. Eric and George were always going to jail guys….
