Chapter 31: Galaxy's Edge – Part 3
Back at Outpost in Batuu, First Order Stormtroopers were searching everywhere all over the market shoving bystanders to show them their identification. Kylo Ren was standing in front of his troops when speaking through the mask.
"Search the market again. She's close."
The Stormtroopers obeyed his command without questioning as they continue their search. Anne and Sprig took a peek where Kylo Ren is searching farther away from him. They need to act fast before they get caught. Sprig already to took a picture from his phone.
"How long do we have wait for this guy to leave?" Sprig asked when whispered.
"I'll tell you when he's leaving." Anne answered when whispered.
She waited patiently until Kylo Ren leave until he left the market with his Stormtroopers.
"Okay, all clear." Anne whispered.
Both kids came out from hiding while her family follows behind along with C-3PO and R2-D2 as they walk fast quietly. They pass some crates and cargos as they tried to avoid from the crowds. Once they reach the open, but suddenly the probe droid shows making them stop in track in split into two.
"Get back!" Anne whispered.
She dodged left with Sprig, Polly, and R2-D2 while Hop Pop, C-3PO, and her parents went right to step back. They waited out for the probe droid to disappear when it's scanning the whole area. Anne started to get sweat feeling nervous and worried if they get caught. It took ten seconds until the probe droid left.
They sighed in relief and come out from hiding as they walk fast. But they stopped and walked inside the building to when hiding from more Storm Troopers when marching. While they're waiting for Stormtroopers to pass by, but then there's something caught in Anne's eye.
She looked inside of each crate and picked something. Anne remembers what it is until she activate which turns out to be a blue laser sword. Anne surprised, but softly. Her family got attention and noticed this.
"Whoa! Is that a lightsaber?!" Sprig recognized it since watching the movie.
"Why, yes indeed." C-3PO answered. "That lightsaber is far more elegant weapon that belongs to a Jedi Knight, peacekeepers of the galaxy."
"Are there an Jedi's left?" Sprig asked.
"Unfortunately, the Jedi are wiped out by the First Order since the Great Jedi Purge." C-3PO replied softly.
Anne remembers the third movie when she shows saw this along with her friends. She felt bad for all this. She turns off the lightsaber and put away inside of her backpack.
"Wait, you're gonna keep it?" Polly asked.
"Well, in case King Andrias sent another robot. I'm sure this might come and handy." replied Anne before she exits along with her family.
"Whoever this King Andrias is, this is madness." said C-3PO while following them along with R2-D2.
It won't be long until they reached to the Resistance base not far from the outpost and stop running taking their breathe except the droids.
"Thank goodness, we made it." said Anne in relief.
"That was too close." said Sprig.
"So, is this the Resistance base?" Hop Pop asked.
"Yes, this is the Resistance base. Ever since we lost many fighters from the First Order, we gathered any men and women all across the galaxy. I don't seem to remember where have I been." C-3PO explained.
"If this is the Resistance base, can I have that blaster?" Polly asked.
"No!" They all said together except the droids.
"I have to agree with you. You are very too young to join the Resistance." C-3PO agrees.
"Um, hello? I was born ready to fight and face danger many times." Polly remarks.
"Polly, this isn't about Amphibia, what we're dealing with is the First Order trying to hunt us down." said Anne.
"She's right, Polly. You have to understand this. We don't want you to get hurt." said Hop Pop.
"And besides, we have so many enemies. The Toads, the robots, killer monsters, even bad guys that Anne knows from Earth." Sprig added.
"(groan) Hmph. Fine." Polly groan.
"Don't worry, Polly. You'll have your chance." said Anne and then turns her head at the droids. "Now, what else should we do?"
"I think the entrance is that way." replied C-3PO.
"Great, now all we have to do is... wait, where's Polly?" Anne asked.
"Uhh..." Sprig point his finger where Polly ran off.
"Ugh! Not again!" Anne ran after Polly.
"Anne, wait up!" Sprig follows his human friend.
Hop Pop and her parents ran after them as well leaving C-3PO and R2-D2 behind.
"I don't like the look of this." said C-3PO concern.
R2-D2 replies as he agrees when beeping.
From the inside, Polly was curious when looking through all of this stuff where fighters leave some stuff in the locker. There were some blasters, communications, some other gadgets, and all this were locked up for safety. Anne and her family arrive when approach.
"Polly! What the heck!" Anne scolded.
"Sorry, Anne. There's something that you might see." said Polly.
"I know that, but what did I told you about. I thought we agree to stay together until Mickey has arrive."
"I know, it's just that... we were flying in the Falcon taking down some TIE Fighters."
"Uh... does killing those fighters is wrong?" Hop Pop asked when concerned.
"Maybe, but unless they tried to kill us like King Andrias tries to kill us." Anne answered.
"Does Sasha counts?" Sprig asked, but Anne gives him a glare. "Okay, stupid questions."
"Wait, what?" Mr. Boonchuy confused.
"Don't answer that. We got into a fight before all "THIS" has happened." replied Anne.
"Okaaay, I asked what that is about and I don't want to know."
"Now, will you promise me not to wandering off twice? I can't search you for this all over again." Anne begged Polly.
"I guess you're right. Sorry I ran off." Polly apologizes.
"It's alright, dude. Now that we're safe from the First Order, all we have to do is wait until Mickey arrives and take us back home before all this happens."
Suddenly, the door opens when most Resistance Fighters ran fast. They turned around and saw them running confused.
"Uh, what was that?" Sprig asked.
"Sounds like they're in a hurry." Mrs. Boonchuy thought.
"Let's go check it out."
Sprig walk over to the other room while the rest follows him. Once they entered to the brief room where most fighters were chatting, they stop walking and stares at the fighters that were both humans and aliens. All of sudden, a BB unit arrives rolling on the platform behind the computer screen. Once it's beeping, they turned their heads at the BB unit when Anne can easily recgonized.
"BB-8!" Anne surprised.
"BB-8?" Sprig confused.
"He's one of the droids from episode seven." Anne explained.
"He looks kinda cute." said Mrs. Boonchuy.
BB-8 took notice at the fighters and then turn his head at the Boonchuys and the Plantars. BB-8 went curious about their presence, but suddenly, the alarm goes when the droid frantic and starts repairing on the computer.
"What's it doing?" Polly asked.
"I think he's fixing something." Anne asked.
"How do you know it's a 'he'?"
Anne shrugged. Once BB-8 is done repairing, all of sudden when the power goes up and then a female voice announced.
"Incoming transmission from Rey."
BB-8 happily beeps when Rey shows up as a hologram. Anne gasp softly as she recognizes.
"Whos' that?" Sprig curious.
"It's Rey." Anne answered when smiling.
"That's Rey?"
"Yeah, that's the one she took the Falcon back."
"Nice!"
"BB-8, is everyone assemble?" Rey asked.
BB-8 replies beeping.
"Good. Shouldn't you be in flight prep?"
BB-8 realize that he forgot something when he rolled off heading for flight prep. Rey turns her head at the fighters.
"Recruits, thank you for joining the cause. According to the Resistance team led by my friend, Finn has infiltrated on the First Order Star Destroyer that is now heading to the system. Your outpost on Batuu is no longer safe. We have transport waiting to take you General Organa's secret base on Pacara. Our group will lead you there. The Resistance are desperately needs your help that our fight against Kylo Ren and the First Order. Remember, it is vital that you keep the location of the Pacara base secrets. Lieutenant Bek, one of our top commanders will lead you."
Two screens were turned on when it showed Lieutenant Bek and his pilot on the computer screen.
"Affirmative. Transport is ready. Nien Nunb and I shall personally see their boarding pass."
"Boarding pass?" Anne thought
She realizes that she put the boarding in her pocket and took it out from her pocket as she looks at it.
"Thank you, lieutenant." She thanked lieutenant and then look at the recruits. "Welcome to the cause. May the Force be with us."
Rey disappeared when the hologram is off.
"Commander Poe Dameron and the squadron of X-Wings shall escort us to rendezvous point on Pacara." said Bek while the computer screen switch to Poe looking at the view.
"Roger, this is Black Leader. I hear you were fine looking recruits. Well, no time to waste. Let's get you on our way to the General." said Poe putting on his helmet before the screen was switched off. Anne and her family were confused.
"Uh... where are we going?" Sprig confused.
"Stand clear. That door is opening now."
The opens when the recruits walked outside. Anne and her family steps out when they looked at black X-Wing where BB-8 is now onboard getting ready and then they looked at the transport.
"Okay, what is going on?" Hop Pop asked.
"I think we were about to get off the planet in case something ever happened to us?" Anne guessed.
Suddenly, they heard a beeping when Anne pulled the communications out from her pocket and turns on the hologram where it shows Mickey wearing his disguise.
"Anne, where are you?" Mickey asked.
"Mickey! Hey! Good news. We're at the Resistance base." said Anne nervously.
"That's great. Glad that you're safe and sound."
"Yeah, about that. There's something is going on right now."
"What's the matter?"
"You see, we were about to transport to another planet for the secret Resistance base."
"You mean the ones where General Organa is?" Mickey asked.
"Yeah, that one. Did you know she use to...? Wait, how did you know all of that?" Anne raised her eyebrows.
"It's funny I was asking the same thing. I've known a lot about her."
"Oh man! I am so sorry!" Anne apologizes. "I didn't know in case you never show up."
"Anne, it's okay. I know more about the galaxy like I used to travel long ago." replied Mickey.
"Wait, you do?" Anne asked.
"Of course! Did you know that my friends and I used to be in Star Wars Weekends at Disney's Hollywood Studios?"
"The one I looked up online? Yeah, I noticed."
"Last call. The transport are about to take off in one minute." said The voice announcer.
"I gotta go. Again, I'm really sorry." Anne apologizes.
"Don't worry, once you reach the secret base, we'll find you and whatever you do, don't get caught." said Mickey as he reminded her.
"Got it. Good luck, Mickey."
Anne turns off the hologram.
"Now what are we do?" Sprig asked.
"Should we stay or should we go?" Mrs. Boonchuy worried.
"What choice do we have left? Sit and wait while the First Order will keep searching for us? Or get to the transport and head to the secret base?"
Her parents took a glance at each other.
"Well, I guess we should leave then." said Mr. Boonchuy.
"Anne, we're really sorry about all of this." Sprig apologizes.
"Hakuna Matata. We're family and nobody gets left behind." replied Anne.
Sprig smiles softly at Anne.
"Spranne against the world?"
"Spranne against the galaxy."
Both Anne and Sprig fist bump at each other. Her parents smile at their daughter.
"Alright, let's go." said Mr. Boonchuy soflty.
They walk towards the transport where one of the members was standing waiting for them.
"Excuse me?" Anne hollers. "Can you get us out of here?"
"Who are you?" asked The crew member.
"We're family members and we would like to get off this planet. Our friend is meeting us at the secret base." Anne answered.
"Alright, do you have a boarding pass?"
"Yes." Anne hands over the boarding pass to the crew member.
"Okay, you and your family are good to go."
"Thank you so much." said Anne thanking him.
"You're welcome."
They step inside the transport as soon as the door close behind them. Nobody notice when BB-8 is watching the group going onboard. We looked inside where everyone is standing while Lieutenant Bek and Nien Nunb are sitting in the cockpit.
"I'm getting high reading on the fuel pressure lock." said Lieutenant Bek navigating the system.
"All recruits must be onboard now. Transports away in thirty seconds." said The male announcer.
Nien Nunb speak alien language reporting to Lieutenant Bek.
"Good." said Lieutenant Bek.
Nien Nunb asked when speaking alien language.
"Yes, check the hyperdrive also."
"Transport takeoff in twenty seconds." said The female announcer.
Nien Nunb informs when speaking alien language.
"Good. The air speed sensor?" Lieutenant Bek asked.
Nien Nunb replies when speaking alien language.
"Thank you, Nien Nunb." Lieutenant Bek turns on the screen when showing Poe on screen. "Black Leader, are you and your team ready?"
"Affirmative. The engines are hot." replied Poe. "Red Two, Blue Five, report."
Two screens were when showing male and female pilot on screen.
"Red Two, check."
"Blue Five standing by."
"Engage repulsive and hold on recruits. All ships, launch." ordered Lieutenant Bek.
They felt when the transport is about to lift off. Anne grabbed on to the bar from the ceiling while her parents hold on to each other. Sprig, Polly, and Hop Pop are the only ones that didn't lose their balance since they're frogs and ran towards to the back to see the back window for the view. They could see two X-Wings escorting from behind.
"Whoa! We're defiantly way up high!" Sprig remarks.
Anne approach behind the Plantars and looked at the view when they reached up high into space. Anne kinda felt bad when not telling Mickey about the plan leaving him behind, but she knew that he's going to meet them at rendezvous point at the secret base.
"Please be okay." said Anne softly.
Lieutenant Bek turns his chair around to see the recruits.
"I am Lieutenant Bek. As you heard from Rey, I have been tasked with getting you to Pacara."
"Red Two, Blue Five, keep tight now. Let's get ready to make that jump to hyperdrive on my mark." said Poe from the computer screen.
All of sudden, there was an alarm beeping. Nien Nunb notice and told his lieutenant speaking in alien language.
"Black Leader, we're picking up an usual signal. Are you spotting anything?" Lieutenant Bek cautiously asked.
"Yeah, I see it. We'll check it out." replied Poe. "BB-8, what you got?"
BB-8 replies when beeping while Anne and her family went nervous.
"There appear to be a number of small craft heading our way. Raise the shields!"
But suddenly, TIE Fighters shows up firing at the X-Wings. Anne and her family shockingly gasp.
"We got company! First Order TIE Fighters! Reroute! Reroute!" Poe exclaimed. "Red Two, Blue Five, we gotta clear the path so the transport can make to jump!"
"IT'S A TRAP!" Hop Pop yells.
"They're on to us! I'M HIT!" Red Two yells before being fired by TIE Fighter when one of the screen lost the signal.
"We lost Red Two! More incoming! Blue Five, take evade of action!"
"Tried to shake it, Blue!" said Poe."
"I'm trying, but I can't-" Her words cut off when explode by the TIE Fighter when the signal is lost.
"OH, MY FROG! WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!" Sprig shouted when frantic.
"We lost Blue Five! I'm gonna draw them away!" said Poe drawing the TIE Fighters away when firing back at the fighters.
"Copy that. Get us clear so we can make the jump." said Lieutenant Bek.
"Be ready, you won't have much time."
"Where all those TIE Fighters coming from?!"
Nien Nunb replies when he speaks alien language noticing when they've been caught in the tractor beam Lieutenant Bek notice this too when something big is happening.
"Star Destroyers."
"GET OUTTA THERE!" Poe yells.
"We can't! We're caught in the tractor beam! It's pulling us in!"
"I'm going to bring us some fair fight! Don't worry, I'll come back for you! Stay strong!" Poe jumped to lightspeed before the screen switched off.
"Dear lord! We're trapped!" Mrs. Boonchuy panics.
"What are we going to do?!" Polly frightfully clutching on Mrs. Boonchuy's legs.
"Anne! Call for help!" Sprig frantic.
"On it!" Anne pulls out her communication to call for help.
Meanwhile back in the outpost where C-3PO and R2-D2 are still in the Resistance base waiting for the next transport. If not, they still have the SartSpeeder 1000 back in the hiding place.
"I hope our friends are doing okay." said C-3PO.
R2-D2 replies when beeping.
"THREEPIO! ARTOO!"
Both droids turn around and saw Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy running towards them as they approach.
"Why, Mickey Mouse. I'm so glad to see you. Although, your friends are in the transport heading their way to Pacara." said C-3PO.
"Yeah, I know. We came as fast as we can." replied Mickey.
"Are there any transports left?" Minnie asked when concerned.
"I'm afraid that there's only one, but we still have the StarSpeeder 1000." C-3PO answered.
Suddenly, the beeping sound goes off. Mickey pulled out his communication and turned on the hologram when Anne shows up.
"Mickey!"
"Anne?! What's wrong?" Mickey looked worried.
"The First Order! They ambushed us! We're being pulled caught in the tractor beam!"
"WHAT?!" Mickey exclaimed.
"Oh dear!" Minnie shocked.
"Where are you?!" Goofy asked desperate.
"We're still in space! TIE Fighters took out two X-Wings except for Poe. I need you to...fo...elp..."
Mickey notice something when the communication was jammed.
"Anne! Come in! ANNE!"
Back to the transport where Anne tries to respond, but realize that the communication was jammed.
"Mickey! Mickey, come in! Come in!" Anne panicked.
"What's going on!?" Hop Pop frantic.
"The First Order has jammed our communications. They prevent us for calling help." replied Lieutenant Bek.
"Oh no." Anne lowered her voice horrified.
Suddenly, the computer screen was on showing a black female First Order Officer on screen.
"Cargo vessel TR141, identify yourselves and prepared to be boarded."
"This is TR141, we are a civilian vessel, by whose authority are we being detained?" asked Lieutenant Bek as he demands answers.
Suddenly, the general of the First Order shoved the officer aside looking at the screen.
"By the authority of the First Order, Resistance scum! Now lower down your shields and prepared to be boarded!"
The computer screens were turned off.
"Who's that?" Sprig asked nervously.
"That's General Hux, that big jerk." replied Anne sternly.
Nien Nunb speaks in alien language when they're being pulled inside of the hanger bay.
"They want the location of our secret base. Tell them nothing. The future of the Resistance is at stake." said Lieutenant Bek.
"Guys, put your hats inside of my backpack." said Anne.
"What? Why?" Sprig asked.
"They'll gonna take away our souvenirs and I'm not gonna let those bucket heads steal it!" replied Anne taking off her Minnie's head band.
"What about my purse?" Mrs. Boonchuy asked.
"Put yours inside." replied Anne. "You too, dad."
"Aw, that was my favorite fanny pack!" Mr. Boonchuy complained while taking off his fanny pack.
Sprig, Polly, and Hop Pop took off their hats and headband to put away inside of her backpack. Her mother put her purse inside while her father put his fanny pack away last until Anne zips up her backpack. Sprig put on his bean hat on his head.
"I have a bad feeling about this." said Lieutenant Bek notice as they made it to the hanger bay inside the Star Destroyer. "Stand back from those doors."
They turn their heads at the door where they got in when it opens. A male First Order Officer enters with two First Order Stormtroopers onboard.
"This vessel is now the property of the First Order. Disembark your ship and prepared to be interrogation."
The recruits raise their arms gently when Stormtroopers raised their weapons at them. Anne and the Plantars raise their arms while her parents held on to each other. The First Order Officer moves aside when they all exit the vessel leaving Lieutenant Bek and Nien Nunb behind. Anne and her family were staring at lots of Stormtroopers standing position. She gulped when shocked.
"Alright, keep moving!" snapped The Stormtrooper captain.
They were escorted by four Stormtroopers as they take them all to the interrogation room. They walked to the hallway where the passed some officers and Stormtroopers, but they didn't notice when one trooper looked at the recruits. He turns left to the hallway and hide against the wall. He took off the helmet revealed that it was Finn, the one who was piloting the Millennium Falcon made contact to his colleague.
"This is Finn, they got Lieutenant Bek and they're taking our recruits to the interrogation room."
Meanwhile back in the outpost, Kylo Ren is marching back toward his shuttle escorting by his Stormtroopers. The First Order Lieutenant is waiting for the supreme leader.
"Sir, they have captured the Resistance prisoners."
"Is the spy with them?" Kylo Ren asked.
"She could be with the recruits."
"Then prepare my ship, immediately." Kylo Ren ordered as he went inside.
The hanger door was closed and then the shuttle lifts off leaving his lieutenant and his troopers behind heading back to the Star Destroyer. Mickey looked through the binocular when he's spying on them. He took off and grew worried about Anne and her family.
"We're too late." Mickey lowered his voice.
"Now what are we do?" Goofy asked worried.
"There must be some way to get Anne and her family back." Minnie added.
"But the bad guys are everywhere." said Donald.
"(groan) If only I have my lightsaber with me, but I left it at home for safe keeping." Mickey groaned.
R2-D2 whistles to get Mickey's attention and turn his head at the astro droid.
"What is it, R2?" Mickey asked.
"He says that you are receiving a transmission." said C-3PO when he translates for R2.
"Transmission?"
Mickey pulls out his communication and turns on the hologram when showing Ludwig Von Drake.
"Mickey, did you found them yet?" Ludwig asked.
"No, they were captured by the First Order." replied Mickey.
"Goodness gracious! That's terrible!"
"I know. I could've saved them on time, but now they're stuck onboard at the Star Destroyer."
"Star Destroyer? That's sounds terrible. Although there is one hope."
"Hope?"
"Well, according to the story plot of the attraction which is about to open next year, the recruits will be rescued by the Resistance to help them escape by using the transport."
"Are you sure about this?"
"I believe so. If the Resistance rescue the recruits, then they rescue your friends."
"Thanks professor, I hope you right about this."
"No problem. Let me know if they made it out in no time."
Ludwig turns off the hologram. Mickey sighed in relief. Minnie, Donald, and Goofy were worried about their friends. R2-D2 whistles sadly. C-3PO put his hand on the astro droid's head.
"Mickey, I'm so worried about Anne." said Minnie sadly.
"We all do, Minnie." replied Mickey.
"But we're her only hope." said Goofy lowered his voice.
"No, there is another."
Meanwhile back on the Star Destroyer, Anne and her family were escorted inside alone while one of the Stormtrooper close the door leaving only six of them. Good thing Anne holds on to her backpack so no one would notice when she brought her bag with her. The First Order Stormtrooper on the platform contacting his commlink.
"Prisoners secured."
It was all too quiet while they were standing silence. Sprig is playing with his thumb when he felt trapped on a spaceship. Anne stares down at the floor when looked upset. Her parents were praying quietly. Polly and Hop Pop were staring at the Stormtrooper who's walking slowly.
"Is there any bathroom?" Polly asked.
"No."
Suddenly, the door open when General Hux enters.
"Leave us."
"Yes, general." said The Stormtrooper when he left the room.
"General Hux stares down at the family glaring while the rest glares back at him.
"Enemies of the First Order, we will soon snuff out your illegal resistance. You chose the wrong the side and now... you will pay."
Just then, Kylo Ren enters as he turns at them. Anne and her family were shocked.
"Kylo Ren." Anne whispered quietly.
"The Resistance prisoners." said General Hux.
"You have what I want." Kylo Ren raise his left arm using the Force to read Anne's mind while the light turned off flickering until he notices something. "You know the location of the secret base and I... will take it from you."
Kylo Ren release Anne from the Force while the lights were back on.
"You'll be needed on the bridge." General Hux reminded his supreme leader.
"Keep the prisoners here. I will return to finish this personally." said Kylo Ren when he left followed by General Hux.
The Plantars and her parents noticed at Anne when comforting her.
"Anne, are you okay?" Mrs. Boonchuy asked concerned.
"What was that?" Sprig asked.
"It's the Force. I remember when he's reading people's mind." Anne answered.
"What did he saw?" Polly asked.
"I think he saw the map for the secret base. We were there."
"That doesn't sound good." Hop Pop muttered.
"Wait, what if he looks into your mind about your power? Or the music box?" Sprig asked in concerned.
"Not gonna happen." replied Anne sternly.
"If only Mickey will come and rescue us from that awful spaceship." said Polly.
But all of sudden, something's going on when they turned their heads at the left side of the wall where it was about to be removed when something is cutting off the wall.
"What the heck?" Anne exclaimed.
Then the wall was removed and slide off like a door which it turns out that it was a black woman that has black hair with blue streaks wearing her orange coat with the Resistance symbol on it, black shirt, brown pants covered by holsters, and black boots. Anne and her family were surprised.
"Whoa!" Anne surpsied.
"Who are you?" Hop Pop asked.
"I'm Vi Moradi, and I'm here to rescue you." said Vi Moradi.
"Are you the Resistance?" Anne asked.
"I am. There isn't much time. We have to get you off the ship before they noticed that you were gone." replied Vi Moradi.
They went through the hole to the room where there are two First Oder Fleet Transports piloted by two astromech R5 units. Although there were recruits using one of the transports.
"Shotgun!" Polly claims it.
They went onboard as the Plantars take the first row while Anne and her parents sits in the back putting on their seatbelts. Anne took off her backpack and unzip to return her mother's purse and her father's fanny pack. R5 turns its head around and beeping at them kindly.
"Uh, hi." Polly greeted.
"Here. Take this." said Anne putting Polly's headband back on.
Anne gave Goofy's hat back to Hop Pop and gave Mickey's ears hat back Sprig while she put on her Minnie's headband back on. Vi Moradi walk behind the computer to contact her colleague when the screen shows Finn without the Stormtrooper helmet.
"Finn, we have the recruits." said Vi Moradi.
"Wait, you're still here? Poe's coming back with an attack force. Get to the escape pods, now!" Finn ordered and then turn his head left. "Lieutenant Bek, we need to find them a way."
The screen switches off leaving them confused.
"Wait, attack force?" Sprig confused.
"Forgot to mention it, but listen carefully. After you were taken prisoners, Finn contact me to find you while he contact with Poe to bring back some reinforcements. While I'm at it, Finn helped Bek and Nien Nunb escape. Remember, don't get caught and stay close to the ground." Vi Moradi explained.
"What about you?" Anne asked.
"I'll stay behind to get you off the ship. I'll wait for the signal." replied Vi Moradi.
"Wait." said Anne getting Vi Moradi attention. "Thanks for getting us out."
"You're welcome, and may the Force be with you." said Vi Moradi smiling. "All yours Finn."
She types the computer to open the door while the screen was turned on again showing Finn.
"Okay, take this corner to the turbolift, then head down to the escape pod bay. The droids were programmed to return you to Batuu. Hurry and don't get caught. Lieutenant Bek will guide you."
"Recruits, for your safety, stay seated with seatbelts securely fastened. Keep hands, arms, feet, and legs inside the transport and supervise your children." said Lieutenant Bek from the commlink.
The droids start piloting transports as they moved out from the loading area leaving Vi Moradi behind when giving the recruits a thumbs up smiling. They passed several empty types of transport with their astromechs, but suspicious at them as the First Order R5 unit beeping at the reprogrammed R5 and then asked beeping. Anne and her family were nervous at first.
"Tell them it's a prisoner transfer."
The reprogrammed R5 tells the First Order droid that they were both transferring the prisoners and then the droid approved when beeping.
"Did it work?" Lieutenant Bek asked and then R5 replied. "Good. Now give a move on."
They sighed in relief while R5 beeps.
"There's a clear path to the turbolift to the end of the hallway. Turn right."
The drove to the hallway when about to turn right, but then halt when the probe droid levitates down, but didn't notice when scanning. The R5 with Anne and her family went nervous and report to Lieutenant Bek while the rest were shocked.
"A probe droid? You're lucky it didn't spot you." R5 backed up the transports away from the probe droid while they're getting closer to the turbolift making them all sihed in relief thinking it's too easy. "Take those turbolift and stay out of trouble."
Before they reach to the doors, they halt when two First Order Stormtroopers were on the platform, but notice when the transports arrived.
"Hey! You're not authorized-"
"Wait, there goes with the prisoners!
Both Stormtroopers raise their blasters firing at the transports, but mis shots making them all scream.
"AAAHHHH!"
"GET US OUT OF HERE!" Polly yells.
"There's a breach in detention one three." said One of the Stormtrooper alerting the authorities.
The alarm goes off when taking an alternative route.
"Your cover is blown! Find an alternative route! Who picked these two droids anyway?" said Lieutenant Bek.
"Uh... you did!" Polly answered.
"Polly!" Hop Pop scolded her.
"What?"
"Guys, look!" Sprig point his finger.
Turning a corner, the transport ends up in a hangar with two full-sized AT-AT as they pass by while the announcer speaks throughout the whole ship.
"Priority alert! Detached in level 13!"
The recruits on the transports are in front of the other transports when they were about to reach the exits, but the door close when shocked. More Stormtroopers on the platform raise their blasters.
"There they are! Fire!"
Stormtroopers shoots their blasters at them, but missed while the droids and The Boonchuys and the Plantars screams when transports were splitting up.
"THAT'S IT! WE'RE DONE FOR!" Sprig shouted.
All of sudden, a blast shot at one of the Stormtrooper making the family surprised.
"Take cover recruits!"
The transports turn the family around and they were shocked to see Finn was firing back at Stormtroopers with some backup hiding behind the crates.
"If anyone have any blasters, now it's a good time!" said Finn while the transports backwards to the turbolift. "The escape pods down below us!"
But then the elevator goes up confusing the family.
"Wait, why are you going up!? I said down! Up is bad! Up is really bad!" Finn yells at the droid going the wrong way.
"Uh, guys?" Sprig notice this.
They were in front of the AT-AT staring at the AT-AT Pilots noticing that the family escape. The pilots take their seats when activate the AT-AT to prepare for attack. Anne widens her eyes shockingly horrified.
"GET DOWN!" Anne yells.
They ducked their head before the pilots firing at the transports, but missed. Once they left the area, they slowly raised their heads and took glance at each other while R5 beeps.
"Is everyone okay?" Anne asked.
"I'm good." Sprig answered.
"Wow! That was too close." said Mr. Boonchuy.
"Could this get any worse?" Polly remarks.
She spoke too soon when they regroup to another transport where most recruits survive, but the droids turn the transport to move closer to the bridge where Kylo Ren was having his conversation with General Hux while most officers were busy.
"The Resistance are attempting to rescue the prisoners." said Kylo Ren.
"They have neither resources nor the courage to engage us." replied General Hux.
"You underestimate their conviction. Raise the shields."
"Shields? I see no evidence-"
"NOW!"
All of sudden, the Resistance fleets has arrived to prepare the attack with fighters firing at the Star Destroyers. The family were surprised and shocked.
"Sound the alarm! All personal, to your stations!" ordered General Hux.
"Sir, the prisoners has escaped!" said The female officer.
"How brave." Kylo Ren turns around and spot the family sitting on transport. "But ultimately hopeless."
The family gasps as R5 pulls back in reverse leaving the bridge.
"There's nowhere to run!" said Kylo Ren.
"R5, get us out of here!" said Anne.
R5 replied when beep as both transports splits to enter the turbolift separately, but without a warning, Kylo Ren lands and ignite his crossblade lightsaber as he walks towards them shocking the family.
"CLOSE IT! CLOSE IT! CLOSE IT!" Anne yells.
Once the door close before Kylo Ren walks closer, the turbolift goes down when lowering to the escape pods while they all sighed in relief.
"That was close." Sprig sighed.
But all of sudden, they heard a loud bang startling at them.
"What the..."
Anne's words cut off when Kylo Ren starts cutting into it using his lightsaber when land on the roof trying to go through making the family and R5 screams.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!"
"DO SOMETHING!" Sprig yells.
"HE'S GONNA KILL US!" Polly shouted.
The door opens when R5 take the transports out of the turbolift before Kylo Ren gets through leaving him behind once the door is closed and regroup with the recruits on the transport with another R5 piloting. Anne gives them a thumbs up saying that they're good.
Then they entered where two laser cannons firing at most Resistance fighters like X-Wings and A-Wings while TIE Fighters were attacking. The recruits on the transports are in front as they go first while the second follows, but blocked by the cannon firing for a second. They were staring out the window where the fights are. Anne and her family were amazed that they have never seen a battle in outer space like this before.
"Whoa! Just like we were in the movie" Sprig amazed when taking a picture.
"Now that's awesome!" Polly impressed.
"So that's Star Wars, huh?" Hop Pop asked.
"Yeah, but we don't want to get caught exploding." said Anne.
"She's right, we need to get off this ship." Mr. Boonchuy agrees.
"Droid, get us out of here." Mrs. Boonchuy ordered.
R5 replies as it agrees. The transports leave the cannon station, but some blast leave a mark when damaged. Then they have entered the area where it leads them to an exit.
"Look! The exit!" Anne pointed out.
"We're save!" said Hop Pop in relief.
Suddenly, the screen is on showing Finn telling them something.
"Attention! Our Resistance Personal, abandoned ship! I repeat! Abandoned ship! The destroyer is about to-" His words cut off when the screen was off.
"There's no escape!"
Before they said anything, the family yelped out loud while R5 screams when both transports turn around and facing Kylo Ren using the Force when shocked. Sprig took a picture from his phone quickly.
"You will tell me the location of the secret base and then I will destroy you," While Kylo Ren is talking, Anne took a glance when one of the TIE Fighter spins out of control as it about to crash. "And the Resistance...AAARRRGGHHHH!"
The TIE Fighter crash with explosions opening it up to the vacuum of space causing Kylo Ren to release them from the Force while Anne and the Plantars hold on to their hats and headbands from loosing. Kylo Ren yells in anger before some huge debris lands on him.
"NNNOOOOOO!"
"I never liked him anyway." Hop Pop commented.
"Now's our chance! Get us out of here!" Anne yells.
R5 replied when taking transports to the escape pods separately while the alarm goes off with lights flashing. Once they reach inside the transport as it locked on. They were staring out at the front view where the escape pods were dropping. Anne notice something when they are about to drop.
"Hold on to something!" Anne yells.
"Wait, what?" The Plantars confused.
By then, they felt the escape is released making them yelp out loud. R5 pilot the escape pods when all of sudden, the Black Wing piloted by Poe taking out some TIE Fighters to clear the path.
"You guys really like getting too close, don't you?" Poe teased from the commlink.
"Yeah, no kidding!" replied Anne.
As soon as Poe took out one of the TIE Fighter as they passed through another Star Destroyers when it explodes leaving them shock and awe.
"Ha ha! Okay, you're clear!"
Poe pilot his X-Wing to let the escape pods entering the atmosphere of Batuu as they coming to fast followed by another escape pods with some recruits.
Cut to Mickey and his friends sitting sadly and praying, but then R2-D2 sense notice something when he whistles out loud to get them attention while C-3PO notice something.
"R2, what is it?" C-3PO asked.
R2 replies when whistles. The protocol droid looked up in the sky see something that's falling. Mickey took out his binocular and look closer to see something's fallen, but it turns out he spotted at two fallen escape pods. He put down his binocular when shocked.
"It's Anne!" said Mickey.
"Anne?" Minnie, Donald, and Goofy said together.
"She and her family are in the escape pod! Come on!" Mickey sped off towards through the market.
"Hey, wait for us!" Goofy hollers as he ran behind along with Minnie and Donald.
"Wait, come back!" C-3PO hollers while he and R2-D2 follows behind.
Back to the escape pod as they are about to crash landing.
"Brace yourself!" Mr. Boonchuy yells.
By then when they crash landing as they bounced off twice and then slide through the wreckage place until they slow down when stopping from crashing startling at the worker who was working staring at them. The family sighed in relief and then they celebrate when Anne hugged her parents.
"WOO HOO!" Sprig shouted.
"YEAH!" Anne cheers.
"WE MADE IT!" Polly yells smiling.
"Your escape pod came in a little off target." said Poe from the commlinks while R5 replies. "Ground crews will meet you outside of the wreckage."
R5 pilot the transports when going backwards.
"Alright! Nice job recruits! Not what you signed on for, but hey, you're Resistance now. I think you have that authority. Right Bek?" said Finn from the commlink, but notice something that Bek is not response. "Where's the lieutentant? I need eyes on Bek. Nien Nunb, scan for his pod beacon."
The transports exit the wreckage when they saw the escape pod from in front of them, but then they spot Lieutentant Bek inside the escape pod when they were surprised.
"Lieutentant Bek here."
"Bek! Oh, you're alive!" said Finn from the commlink in relief.
"I should hope so. Great job recruits! Thanks to your heroism, the secret location of the Resistance base is secured. Bravo!" Lieutentant Bek congratulate them while R5 whistles saying that to him. "Yes R5, you too."
R5 cheers happily until they arrive at the exit. Anne and her family unbuckled themselves and put on her backpack. She picked up the Plantars as they all hugged together when laughing of joy.
"Guys! We survived!" Anne cheerfully.
"Yeah! We're the Resistance now!" Sprig cheers.
"Anne!"
The Boonchuys and the Plantars turn their heads at Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy as they run towards them. Anne and her family were smiling at them.
"Mickey! Minnie! Donald! Goofy!" Anne smiling.
Mickey went to hug Anne while Minnie hugs Sprig while laughing with joy. Then Polly jumped on Donald hugging the duck while Goofy picked up Hop Pop hugging the frog. They all let go of their hug and looked at each other's eyes.
"Boy! Are we glad to see you." said Mickey.
"So glad to see you too!" replied Anne.
"Where in the frog have you been?" Hop Pop asked, but smiling.
"Sorry we're late, but we got here just in time." replied Goofy.
"We were so worried about you." said Minnie.
"How did you escape?" Donald asked eagerly.
"It wasn't that easy. The Resistance helped us escape." Anne answered.
"That's wonderful!" said Minnie.
"C'mon, let's head back to Disneyland in no time."
Then they heard R2-D2 whistles out loud when he approach with C-3PO.
"There they are! Thank goodness you're safe." said C-3PO.
"Yeah, the Resistance rescued us before from the First Order." said Sprig.
"And there were explosions!" Polly added.
"Yes, I can see that. You're all part of the Resistance now and I am happy to see you alive in one piece." said C-3PO.
Mickey pulls out his communicator and turns on the hologram showing Ludwig.
"Professor, we found them!" said Mickey.
"Ho, ho, ho, ho! Wonderful! Well done! Now I'll open the portal to bring that can lead you back home." said Ludwig when the hologram was turned off.
"The portal? Does this mean you build this portal that can lead us back home? For real?!" Sprig gasps with his eyes sparkles.
"Unfortunately, this portal was design to travel any galaxy throughout the surface." said Mickey as he explained.
"Oh." said Sprig lowered his voice.
Polly and Hop Pop grew sad as they thought that the portal is the only reasons that can lead them back home, but this portal was design to take them to across the galaxy. Anne knew that the Plantars wants to return home, but there's no other solution. She kneels them when comforting them.
"C'mon guys. Don't give up hope. I promise our friends that they can get us home in no time, but for now, let's head back to Disneyland to celebrate my best friend's birthday." said Anne.
"I guess you're right. We may have ended up in space, but that was the best birthday gift ever!" said Sprig.
"I'm glad that you enjoyed it." Hop Pop added.
"Yeah, but we are not going through that again." said Polly.
"Well, in Galaxy's Edge from our world, you get to build some droids from the gift shop like toys." said Goofy.
"Toys?! Well I'm in!"
"Glad you never asked." Anne smirked.
Suddenly, the portal opens when it shows Ludwig in front of them while he's inside at the Innovation.
"My friends! Glad that you made it. Step on in and we'll get you all set in no time." said Ludwig.
"Thanks professor." said Mickey and then turn his face at them. "C'mon folks, let's go home."
Before they walk trough the portal, Anne stops and looks at C-3PO and R2-D2.
"Aren't you two coming?" Anne asked.
"We would love to, but we can't go just yet. The war is not over because we are the spark, that will light the fire that will burn the First Order down." replied C-3PO.
"Who told you that?" Sprig asked.
"Commander Dameron." Anne answered. "Thanks for everything."
R2-D2 beeps at Anne softly.
"Good luck finding your friends, Anne." said C-3PO.
"Thanks, and luck helping winning the war. May the Force be with you." replied Anne softly.
Anne and her friends and family walked through the portal while Mickey came in last as he waved bye at the droids and walked through the portal until it closed leaving only two droids alone. R2-D2 whistles at his companion.
"Yes R2, I believe Anne is their only hope to safe her friends wherever they are now."
To be unnoticed when there was a Force Ghost which turns out to be a Jedi Master, Luke Skywalker watching from the distance. He saw everything as he smiles at the family for their bravery and courage fight against the First Order before he disappear into thin air.
