'Mental link established,' Miss Martian informed them, 'Heading to the tent to investigate the non-terrestrial element.' She slowly disappeared from their sight.
'So when you and robin left we went on a mission to retrieve the helmet of fate, and even though Wally denies it he got possessed,' Artemis informed us with a snicker.
'So what Wally? Gave up on impressing Miss Martian?' I asked
Wally waved his hand dismissively, 'I decided to remain true to my beliefs, and I believe magic is nothing but a bunch of bullshi-' Miss Martians'e panicked voice rang out in their heads.
'They're testing something but it's alive. In pain! Hello? Can you hear me?'

'Psimon can make you all forget!'

I would have let out a breath of relief if not for my teammates groaning in pain as they held their heads.
Superboy was the first to come out of it but one look at his eyes had me bringing out a shield which he punched right through, sending me flying.

Holy shit even with a mana shield Superboy halved my health points with one hit, I'm also guessing the game only protected my mind from the mental command. Superboy is only 6 months, how much would he have to forget to attack me like that? Did everyone get their minds wiped clean?
I shook my head, "I need to find everyone to determine the extent of the mind wipe," And then what? I'm not a telepath so I can't fix their minds, and the spells that pertain to the mind I have at my disposable are...not exactly what one would define 'light magic'
A frustrated scream almost made its way out of my throat before an eerie calm washed over me, no doubt the work of Gamers Mind, right now I need to find-holy shit tanks! There were tanks headed for me.
"Volare" I flew into the air as the ground below me was blown apart, gathering mana I paused, "What if there are people there? If I blow the tanks to kingdom come I'll also kill them,"
Instead, I called out, " Ventus Flatus!" The wind picked up blowing sand everywhere and creating a convenient camouflage. Not wasting a moment I flew out of there fast as I can.
'I need to find Miss Martian, hopefully, she'll be able to help.' I thought as I flew. Distantly I noted how beautiful the sunrise is in Bialya.
Searching for the team was frustratingly hard, the desert seemed vast and while I wasn't affected by the heat I was beginning to lose my patience, flying low I noticed a lone boy wonder hiding from Bialyan soldiers.
Robin assumed a fighting stance as soon as I dropped next to me, "Robin am I glad to see a familiar face," Robin didn't drop from his stance, sighing I asked, "You don't remember me do you?"
He swayed a little, most likely dehydrated from being out in the sun for so long, "I can't seem to place your face nor can I remember how I got here. Care to jog my memory?" He gave a furtive smile, body tensed in preparation for a fight.
I held up my hands, "I'm Sorcerer Supreme, we were sent here by Batman to investigate when the watchtower detected an immense surge of power. There were elements of non-terrestrial origin," I explained, "When we got here Miss Martian, one of our teammates, went off to investigate. She's a telepath so we use her to communicate but our mental link was hacked and the teams' memories were wiped,"
"What about you? You don't seem to be suffering from 6 months' worth of memory loss," He inquired.
I chuckled nervously, "My mind does this thing where it eliminates or nullifies things it considers threats, I'm guessing that's what happened last night,"
We heard some shouting and Robin cursed as he noticed some Bialyan soldiers heading straight for us, "I don't have time for..." He blinked as I sent a gust of wind at the soldiers, sending the jeeps they were riding in flying as the intensity of the spell increased.
"I placed a GPS marker west of here, but I don't know why. Maybe going there will give us some clues on where to find our 'teammates' " Robin mused as he typed away at his holographic computer.
"Okay" Was my response. Robin paused,
"Just like that? You're going to follow my lead?" He asked.
I shrugged, "You've been a hero the longest, you know what to do in situations like these I'm sure, not to mention your a budding detective if anyone can track down our lost teammates it's you." Robin gave a crooked smile and silently indicated to follow him.
"I'm guessing that's what we would have used to investing the non-terrestrial elements?" Robin asked as we neared the device only for Bialyan soldiers to burst from the sand, Robin backflipped out of sight as I summoned a Mana Shield the soldiers' weapons disintegrated into dust as I shouted out, "Confractus telum!" Using their momentary shock I cast a binding spell, "Liga eos!" The sand rose and quickly wrapped around them, before transforming into rope. A black blur zipped past me collecting the remaining soldiers' weapons, one of them tried running away only to be stopped by Artemis.
"KF!" Robin exclaimed as he grasped Kid Flash' hand in his own, "Man it's so good so a familiar face,"
"Rob" The speedster greeted him back, "Memory loss?"
"Six months!" The boy wonder cried out, "Let's hogtie these creeps and compare notes,"
I joined the group, "Well to start off, I'm Sorcerer Supreme, I wasn't affected by the mind wipe due to my mind being able to neutralize mental attacks,"
Megan eagerly piped up, "I'm Miss Martian! While the mind wipe did affect me I was able to recover some of my memories, it's a pleasure to meet you both,"
Kid Flash pointed to Artemis, "This here is Arrow girl, she thinks her father sent her here to kill me," He winced as Artemis elbowed him. While I filed that particular bit of information for later.
"So we're a team?" Robin asked somewhat skeptical.
"Yes the five of us and Superboy," Miss Martian confirmed. Robin grabbed something from his utility belt revealing it to be a black cloth with a red S.
"You ran across Superboy?" I asked, Robin, shook his head no as Kid Flash spoke,
"You mean feral boy? He attacked us!" Kid Flash complained.
"He doesn't know who we are!" Artemis rebuffed him, "I don't know who we are!"
I barged in, "Artemis is right Kid, I'm not entirely sure if Superboy even has a mind right now, but we need to find him and Kald-" Kaldur! Holy shit Kaldur's been wandering around the fucking desert this long, "Aqualad! We need to find him,"
"Aqualad is a part of the team too? What about speedy?" Kid Flash asked.
"No speedy isn't a part of the team, can we focus on more pressing matters like finding Aqualad? Miss Martian, can you restore everyone's memories?" Miss Martian stammered at my question.
"Well, I wasn't sure if I could do it using just my memories b-but with your mind intact it will be easier!" Her eyes glowed white and they found themselves in an unfamiliar place, "I brought you all here to share what I and Sorcerer Supreme remember, together our broken memories can form a whole if you open your minds to mine,"
"Go for it Miss M," She gave a gentle smile at my affirmation, before looking to the other members for assurance.
"Whoa whoa, you want to paw through our minds!?" Artemis all but growled out.
Robin on the other hand was unbothered, "You want to hack our minds to find out what happened to us. Got it, go."
Kid Flash flashed Megan a smile, "My mind is all yours try not to let its brilliance overwhelm you,"
"Or underwhelm you," Robin chirped in, "Hey why isn't anybody ever whelmed?"
Kid Flash stepped to Artemis and gave her a soft and gently took her hand in his.
"Last six months only, and only what you need." She relented.
And so Miss Martian reached out with her mind, a notification later and they were all watching the memories that got erased including their brief mental encounter with Psimon.
Kid Flash paled as he ripped his hand away from Artemis' "We need to find Kaldur, he's been out here for too long,"
I nodded in agreement, "We also need to find Superboy, Miss Martian is the bioship in telepathic range?"
"Now that I know to look for him..." Robin grumbled as he pulled out his hologlove, "He's close but he's not moving. We have to hurry,"
Miss Martian's eyes glowed before she gave a confirmation, "I've instructed the Bioship to meet us at Aqualad's position, what will do about superboy? The telepath that hacked our mind link could be near, I-I'm not sure I can take him," Robin's eyes flicked to me.
"Sorcerer Supreme your immune to telepathic influence, think you can rescue Superboy?" He asked as his hologlove revealed the boy of steel's location.
"You have trackers placed on all of us don't you?" I asked, annoyance coloring my voice.
The boy wonder merely smirked, "Well can you rescue Superboy?"
I shook my head, "I think I'll be able to deal with Psimon, but I'll need Miss M to come with me, in his current state Superboy is extremely dangerous, heck! He almost did me in with one punch!" I exaggerated at the end.
He nodded, "We will rescue Aqualad while you and Miss M bring back Superboy, split up!"
"They're in there, I can the pain of whatever it is they were testing earlier and uhh! I feel Superboy! He is in pain!" Megan dashed into the tent.
Cursing under my breath I slowly snuck in and watched as Superboy tried to attack Psimon only to be met with a psychic barrier.
"Ignis Impes!" I fired off several fireballs that but the barrier didn't so much as ripple at the assault.
"Okay then, Fulmen Icio," lightning shot out at blinding speed, only to bounce off the barrier, the residue energy striking the nearby soldiers.
"Okay then Psimon, you leave me no choice," My normally yellowish magic took on a red tinge as my eyes glowed a disturbing red, "Tenebris tumultus"
Megan focused on keeping the shield up as she spoke to Superboy, "He's too strong! I..." Her eyes widened as darkness arose from nowhere and viscously attacked Psimon's mental self the darkness crawled into his eyes, mouth, and eyes and darkened his entire mind. Psimon let out horrific screams as his mental attacks did nothing to stop the darkness.
"Stop..." She whispered, Conner violently shook her.
"Megan we need to leave!"
In the outside world, she slowly uncamouflaged herself and fell to her knees.
"Miss M are you okay? Hey look at me" Sorcerer Supreme slowly came into her vision.
"Psimon he-I it wasn't me!" She cried out.
"Yes, it wasn't" He confirmed, "That was a spell I cast but don't worry. Psimon's mind is only temporarily incapacitated the spell will wear off in a few days," the sphere-like machine rolled over to them.
While Megan was processing this her teammate took a look at their new accomplice, his eyes widened dramatically.
"Our mission here is complete, I think we have everything we need,"
At the cave, Batman's scowl deepened as listened to their report, "...The sphere is the non-terrestrial element that was detected. it's from a world called new genesis, but it's how it got here that's troubling," Sorcerer Supreme informed them chewing nervously on his lip, "I think something called boom tube was used to get it here, they are mainly used by the New Gods of Apokolips which is led by a being called Darkseid,"
Green Lantern John spoke up, "What very little I found about Apokolips and Darkseid from the Guardians files is worrying. Darkseid conquers planets in search of something called the Anti-Life Equation, which is even more of a mystery. The Guardians are unwilling to reign him in for what reason I don't know,"
"You did excellent work team, you're in need of some much-deserved rest," John gave them a smile as they filed out, noting how Batman's eyes followed the team's youngest member.
He huffed, "Still paranoid about the kids scrying ability? You have to admit, it was very useful during their mission,"
Batman's eyes narrowed, "A little too useful, him being able to gather so much information from just looking at something makes him a major potential risk," He gruffly replied, "But still this is invaluable information, let's head to the watchtower the rest of the league needs to hear this,"

"I'm sure Vandal Savage is pleased that our transportation system is working. When the children escaped with the new genisphere I thought the martian had knocked him out and left him psychically damaged I've come to realize that is not the case," Queen Bee stepped into Psimon's room her companion floated in beside her, childish excitement pouring out of him in waves.
"Tsk tsk tsk. A little sidekick has been dabbling in the dark arts I see," Klarion crackled, "How scandalous!"
