HI everyone this is the grand finale of Eclipse! Let's roll!
Outer Space was beautiful, but Inuyasha's eyes were not upon the stars or even the large earth in which he came from. He was focused on the now fully intersected Sun and Moon that each had an unconscious maiden in its center… Kikyo was in the full silver moon, that had black veins all over it,and all connected to her as her body was clothed in shadow. Kagome was within the Sun's center, her body was clothed in orange fire as darker orange veins were covering the blazing golden star itself.
"Kagome, Kagome, it's me, it's Inuyasha I've come to take you home!" the half demon said as he reached out to Kagome, only for a golden barrier to stop him.
"My daughter is home" a deep calm voice stated.
Inuyasha looked up above him and Kagome to see a man dressed in the same type of fire Kagome was in, his hair was golden fire and his eyes were sky blue as his whole body glowed with a golden light.
"You're Haruto aren't you, you're Kagome's father and The Sun Spirit" the half demon lord said rather than asked.
"I am," the man answered.
"Please let her go, Kagome has a life on earth and people who need her; like Sango, Kirara, Shippo, Miroku… and me…" Inuyasha said begging for the first time in his life.
"You were able to come here because of Ami, weren't you?" Haruto observed.
"Yeah, I was and she told me Kagome is resisting The Sun Seed's spell; she wants to go home so let her!" Inuyasha demanded as Haruto only shook his head.
"This is what must happen, without me or Kagome here the sun will burn out and the world will become cold and dark, then life will vanish from the planet as it is from me now…" he said as the golden light on his body was begging to transfer to Kagome, who was glowing brighter by the minute.
"I don't care, a world without Kagome, is worse than death!" the half demon lord growled, making Haruto frown.
"If you insist on trying to stop this event from happening… then I'm afraid you must be silenced…" The Sun Spirit said as he formed a large fireball in each hand and launched them towards Inuyasha as he then charged at him using his fiery hand as weapons to fight the young lord, who took out his sword and began to fight Haruto.
"Why would you do this to your own daughter?!" Inuyasha questioned angrily as he used his sword to stop each fireball that was thrown at him.
"Because I have no choice, the world will die if something is not done!" The Sun Spirit shouted as he threw an extra large fire ball at Inuyasha, grazing his shoulder and making him cry out in pain.
Upon hearing the painful shout, Kagome's eyes shot open while their details were still outlined with golden light; she could still see Inuyasha in pain as he still tried to fight her father.
"INUYASHAAAAAAAAAA!" she cried as she tried to break free of the sun's center but failed.
"You woke up?" Haruto questioned.
"Hold on Kagome, I'll get you out!" Inuyasha shouted, using the opportunity to try and rush over to The Sun Miko with a wounded shoulder but Kagome shook her head.
"No Inuyasha, go back to earth…" she said sadly.
The half demon's eyes widened. "What?" he breathed.
"There's no way to stop this. Tell Sango and Kirara that they were more like sisters to me than Kikyo even has and ever will be. Tell Shippo to grow stronger and for Miroku to look after Sango…. And you… take care of yourself, I'm sorry…" The Sun Miko said as tears began to evaporate from her cheeks once they found their way out of her eyes.
"I'm sorry but that's the one thing I won't do for you Kagome, especially since I know you don't really want this!" Inuyasha yelled as he continued to fight Haruto.
"STOOOOP! Please I don't want to see you die, so please just leave, I'd rather you live your life on earth knowing that you're safe, as the Sun forever" Kagome begged, continuing to weep. That's when the bright golden light on Kagome and her father began to transfer into the Sun itself. All Kagome and Inuyasha could do was stare at the scene in wonder.
"Impossible…" Haruto stated breathlessly.
"Father, what's going on?" Kagome asked as she and Inuyasha turned to The Sun Spirit who paused for a moment before speaking.
"Your Sun Seed is…. Separating itself from you Kagome…"
"What?" Inuyasha and The Sun Miko asked.
"The Sun Seed is what has the spell to turn Kagome into the Sun… but something is transferring that spell onto The Sun Seed itself" The Sun Spirit said.
"What are you saying?" Inuyasha asked.
"The Sun Seed is releasing Kagome and turning into the Sun itself" Haruto clarified.
"I'll be free?" Kagome asked in a hopeful voice.
"That's awesome!" Inuyasha boasted.
"However the transfer of The Sun Seed's spell doesn't seem to be happening fast enough…." The Sun Spirit trailed off.
"What?" asked Kagome.
"If The Sun Seed doesn't transfer completely before the Eclipse is over in a few minutes then Kagome will become the Sun instead," her father said.
"Then how can we speed up the process? There has to be a way!" Inuyasha demanded.
"I think you already know the answer… think about why you came here to stop this from happening to Kagome in the first place, what drove you to wanting her to come back to earth….?" Haruto questioned the half demon and then turned over to his daughter. "Kagome, why did you want Inuyasha to save himself over you?" The Sun Spirit questioned. Then, as if on cue both the Miko and the Half demon's faces lit up.
"I know why," they said in sync.
"The eclipse is soon to end, you must both do something to get the last of The Sun Seed's power out of Kagome" Haruto said as they all noticed the Sun and moon begging to separate from each other.
Inuyasha thought for a moment and then turned to Kagome and placed both hands on her cheeks after putting his sword back in its sheath.
"Inuyasha?" Kagome questioned softly while blush rose to her face..
"We're going home….." the half demon promised as he then leaned over and kissed The Sun Miko's soft lips.
Kagome froze but only for a moment as she then kissed back.
Once their lips touched, the golden light on Kagome and her father's body left them completely and went into the Sun, fueling its orange veins… and releasing Kagome into Inuyasha's arms….
"Kagome!" Inuyasha shouted as the miko then lost consciousness while he covered her body in his robe of the fire rat (since the fire of the Sun had burned away Kagome's Kimono) "Kagome, Kagome wake up!" the half demon begged as he cradled the beautiful miko in his arms.
"Don't worry, Kagome is safe, she is only very tired after The Sun Seed left her, but I hope you have a good understanding of what has happened; Kagome is now a regular miko, her spiritual powers remain but she no longer has the power to heal or bring back the dead her Sun Power's are gone forever" Haruto explained as he began to fade away.
Inuyasha looked down at Kagome asleep in his arms and then back up at her father. "Understood," the half demon said softly as he held the miko closer.
Haruto smiled at the scene. "Take care of my daughter…" he trailed off as he disappeared completely.

"I'm scared. What if they never come back!?" Shippo cried as he sat with Sango and Kirara and watched the Eclipse end with fearful expressions.
"LOOK!" Rin shouted from Sesshomaru's arms while pointing up to the sky above them.
"It's Inuyasha and Kagome!" Miroku clarified as he patted Sango's shoulder while they all watched Inuyasha and Kagome land in front of them.
"Inuyasha!" Izayoi cried out to her son as she ran up to him and Kagome, who was still asleep in his arms.
"Are you both alright, what happened to Kagome!?" Sango asked as she and Kirara rushed up to the two as well.
"I'll fill you in once we get Kagome into the best bed in the best bedroom in the castle" the half demon said as he walked past everyone and into the castle.
"Well….. he 's not wasting any time…" Miroku stated slyly, earning a hard tug on the ear from Sango.
"Ow, ow, ow! Sango, I'm just joking!" the monk whined while everyone else shook their heads.
"Well at least they came back…" Shippo sighed as Kirara meowed in agreement as she turned into her smaller form.

Kagome found herself standing in a dark tunnel with a white light at the end. And standing in front of that light were her mother and father!
"MOTHER!? Father?" she questioned. "Where are we?"
"We are between worlds….. Oh my sweet Kagome, how you have grown into a fine young woman I have missed you so much my daughter, but I'm afraid I must leave you yet again" Ami said making Kagome's eyes widen.
"What no! Why can't we all stay together?" She wept as her mother and father each took one for her hands in their own.
"My child you have your whole life ahead of you now" Haruto said softly.
"And your other loved ones are waiting for you to open your eyes…." Ami trialed off.
"What, I'm asleep?" Kagome asked as her parents then let go of her hands.
"We will always be with you" they said to their daughter as they disappeared in the white light at the end of the tunnel while tears streamed down Kagome's face.
"I love you…" was all she was able to say.

Kagome groaned as she opened her eyes to see that she was in a grand bedroom lying on a soft futon mattress wearing a green night kimono, and kneeled at her side was Inuyasha holding her hand as if he was afraid she would slip away from him.
"Inuyasha?" the miko questioned when she saw the half demon.
"KAGOME!" Inuyasha exclaimed as he then brought Kagome into a hug.
"Inuyasha… where are we, what happened?" the miko asked, hugging the half demon lord back.
"We're back in my father's palace, and once The Sun Seed's power separated from you completely it itself became the sun and you're father… he's… gone…" Inuyasha said softly as he released Kagome from the hug and stared at her with much relief as he still held her an arms length away.
Kagome let out a soft sigh. "I know, I saw my mother and father… they told me to wake up… how long was I out?" the miko questioned.
"Two days," Inuyasha replied. "Everyones been so worried and waiting outside the room ever since we came back"
"What, everyone?" Kagome asked.
"Yeah, Sango, Kirara, Shippo, Miroku, my mother, Rin, Sesshomaru, Koga, Ayame, and Kagura" the half demon lord answered.
Kagome stared at him in shock, making him smile with a softness she had never seen before.
"Don't look so surprised, you may have only been out in the world for a few days, but there's a lot of people who care about you," he said and he then continued "But before you go out there I wanted to talk to you about a few things…" Inuyasha trailed off.
"Okay what is it?" Kagome asked.
"What's the last thing you remember before falling asleep?" the half demon asked.
Kagome blushed. "You and I kissed and afterwards… nothing" the miko admitted.
"You passed out once the sun released you, and before your father vanished he said you would no longer be able to use the powers of the sun ever again, your sun powers are gone forever Kagome…." Inuyasha trailed off.
Kagome was silent for a moment before speaking. "I'm free… and freedom is more important than my sun powers, and I still have my spiritual ones so no great loss, I'm my own person now" the miko said with a genuine smile that made Inuyasha blush.
"Um, Kagome we both know why The Sun Seed released you and why your mother said I would be the one to save you…" the half demon trailed off.
"Yes, I do know why…" Kagome said.
"I love you!" the two said as they turned to look at each other, they both blushed at each others words.
"Kagome, you helped me see that I wasn't alone, you taught me how to smile again, you're the most amazing girl I know and… I'd be honored if… you'd become my mate…" Inuyasha said seriously.
Kagome blushed once more and gasped softly, but then smiled. "Inuyasha, you helped me become stronger, you protect me when I need it and… it's because of you I can now live the rest of my life with everyone I hold dear… I'd be more than happy to become your mate…" the miko replied as she cupped both of Inuyasha's cheeks in her hands and kissed him as he had kissed her on the sun a few days ago while he kissed back.

"KAGOME!" everyone shouted as they nearly tackled the miko in a hug once her and Inuyasha stepped out of the bedroom.
"We were so worried about you!" Shippo cried as he hugged Kagome tightly.
"I'm alright now Shippo" Kagome said as she then hugged Sango and Kirara
"We were so scared we'd never see you again!" Sango cried as Kirara nuzzled both girls' faces.
"I would never leave you two, you're my sisters Sango and Kirara, more than Kikyo ever was!" Kagome replied with happy tears in her eyes.
"Kagome!" Kagura exclaimed as she then hugged the miko with Rin, Ayame, and Izayoi.
"We're so glad you're still alive my dear girl!" Izayoi said happily.
"We have an announcement to make," Inuyasha said after everyone had finished hugging Kagome. "Kagome and I have decided that after almost being separated forever that we never want to be apart again, so… we've decided to become mates, our love is too precious not to treasure" Inuyasha stated with a sincerity that surprised even his mother, while Kagome simply hugged him. This news made everyone cheer.
"I'm so proud of you both!" Izayoi exclaimed while Sesshomaru slapped Inuyasha on the back.
"Well done brother"
"I look forward to calling you my sister, Kagome!" Rin squealed, hugging the miko again. "Great job sis," Sango said, hugging her little sister while Kirara nuzzled Kagome's face.
"Amazing Inuyasha… now can you show me how to get Sango to say yes to me?" Miroku whispered to Inuyasha, to which Sango heard and whacked the monk on the head with her boomerang bone.
"Well that's gonna get old real fast" Koga observed as he looked at Miroku knocked out on the floor.
"I think it already has, Koga" Ayame stated dully.
"You said it," Kagura replied.

11 Years Later….
Kagome watched as her and Inuyasha's quarter demon four year old daughter Moroha played with her half cousins Towa and Setsuna (Rin and Sesshomaru's half demon four year old twin daughters)
Moroha had her mother's spiritual powers, her beautiful sparkly brown eyes and her long dark raven hair (which was in a high ponytail held by a red bow) while she had her father's demon powers, fangs, bangs, and at times his attitude. She wore a red toga and cape made from the hair of the firerat of her father's robe, which could be used to make endless clothes with its regenerating powers.
Towa, the oldest of Sesshomaru and Rin's twins wore a light purple toga, her white hair was in a short high ponytail, and she had dark purple-pink eyes.
Setsuna, Towa's younger twin had light purple eyes, wore a dark purple kimono and her long brown-black hair was in a low ponytail bun that also covered part of her face.
"Moroha, It's time to get ready for bed!" Kagome called out to her daughter from the doorway of the great dog demon's palace's courtyard.
"AWWW!" the three girls whined as they hurried over to meet Kagome, who simply smiled.
"Now Towa, Setsuna, don't you two go complaining, you both need to head to bed too" Rin said joining Kagome in the doorway.
"Eleven years have passed, and not a day goes by where I don't thank fate for this new chance at life…' Kagome trialed off in thought looking at the sunset in front of the castle.
"Mama?" Moroha questioned as she tugged on her mother's sleeve. Kagome nowadays wore a light green kimono with yellow cherry blossoms on it tied up with a blue obi around her waist.
"Hm, oh sorry sweetie I was just thinking about how happy I am to be here after eleven years after my eighteenth birthday… and after I met your father…" the miko trailed off.
"Can you tell me that story again about you and papa when we get to my room, please?" Moroha begged with big puppy eyes that were nearly impossible to say no to.
Kagome smiled at her daughter as she picked her up and balanced her on her hip. "Of course, and your father and uncle Sesshomaru are home, I can sense them"
Moroha perked up. "I can sense them too, PAPA, WE'RE IN THE COURTYARD!" the little quarter demon shouted and sure enough Inuyasha and Sesshomaru entered the courtyard through the front gates.
"PAPA!" Towa and Setsuna called out to Sesshomaru as they and their mother rushed over to him and hugged him close, to which the demon lord himself returned gently.
"Hey how are my favorite girls?" Inuyasha asked as he rushed over to Kagome and Moroha and hugged them both close.
After Inuyasha had saved Kagome from becoming the sun eleven years ago, Sesshomaru and him ruled over their father's lands together as equals and when Towa, Setsuna, and Moroha were born the brothers decided when the three girls became the right age they would rule over their grandfather's lands together as equals themselves since they were born around the same time.
"We're great" Kagome replied, kissing her mate's forehead. "How was the overseeing of the Wolf demon tribe's new territory?"
"It's safe, Koga, Ayame, and the rest of their family will be very happy there" Inuyasha replied.
"Papa, papa, I did really well in my miko training today, I could easily detect you and uncle Sesshomaru with my spiritual powers!" Moroha stated excitedly as her father held her and her mother close.
"I'll bet you did, you're powerful like your mother" Inuyasha said proudly.
"And lets not forget you have your fathers demonic powers too, which you're also being trained in" Kagome added hugging her giggling daughter.
"A party and you didn't invite us?!" a male voice called from above, mocking hurt. Everyone then looked up to see Kirara flying above them with Miroku, Sango and their three children on her back the oldest was a girl named Kin'u she was ten had light brown eyes, and brown-black hair like her mother only her's what shoulder length, and she wore a light green kimono.
Gyokuto, was Kin'u's younger twin who looked just the same as her only she wore a light pink kimono. While both girls were very alike in personalities Kin'u had spiritual powers like her father and Gyokuto was Moroha's lady in waiting like her mother was to Kagome.
Finally there was Sango and Miroku's son Hisui who was eight and training to become a demon slayer like his mother. He had his father's blue eyes and black hair in a short ponytail and he wore a light blue toga.
"Miroku…." Sango stated shaking her head making her low ponytail sway back and forth as her boomerang bone rested on her back while she wore her pink kimono and green skirt.
"Sango, Kirara, Miroku, kids how was the visit to Kai and Keade's graves in the rock pit?" Kagome questioned once the little family landed.
"It went well, I hope you didn't miss us too much" Sango teased as Kirara let everyone get off of her back and let Sango and Miroku's children pet her as a thank you and afterwords the feline transformed into her smaller self and rushed over to greet Kagome, Inuyasha, and little Moroha.
"Hi Kirara!" Moroha squealed as she let the little kitty jump in her arms as she hugged her close while she nuzzled her face.
"Hi Hisui!" Setsuna called, rushing over to greet Sango and Miroku's family.
Hisui blushed upon seeing the half demon princess. "H-hi Setsuna" the boy stuttered.
"Oh young love… reminds me of how we started out to some degree my dear Sango" Miroku cooed as he held his wife close, who smiled softly and blushed.
"I know right, it took you almost a year to get me to say yes to your proposal of bearing your children" Sango giggled.
"Hey guys I'm back!" Shippo called from the air in his pink balloon form.
"Shippo, how was training this month?" Rin asked as she held Towa in one arm and held Setsuna's hand in the other, while Sesshomaru had his arm around her shoulders.
"Great, I was able to transform into a giant snake!" the little fox boasted as he turned back into his little fox form and landed on the ground.
"SHIPPO!" Kin'u and Gyokuto shouted as they tackled the fox boy to the ground, who cried out in protest.
"Alright girls let him up" Sango scolded lightly.
"And on that note let's get you to bed kiddo" Inuyasha said as he took Moroha in his arms while she still held Kirara in hers.
"Aw, can't I stay up?" The quarter demon begged, but Inuyasha only chuckled and shook his head.
"No you need your rest if you, your mother, and I are gonna go see your aunt Kagura tomorrow"
"I know but I don't want to wait, I want to sing now!" Moroha pouted as Kirara then nuzzled her face.
After being granted freedom from the sun Kagome made the habit of going on adventures with Inuyasha and their friends, that including going to sing with Kagura whenever she wished so she could share her powerful voice with everyone, that is until everyone had settled down then Kagome just made the point of going to sing with Kagura and going on adventure with just Inuyasha, and when Moroha was born and old enough she was able to join them and once she was able to talk she developed a great singing voice like her mother and learned how to play the mandolin.
"I'll tell you what, why don't we sing for your father when we get to your room?" Kagome suggested.
Moroha perked up at the offer, "okay let's go!" she cheered as she let Kirara transform into her big form and give her a ride up to her balcony on the second floor of the palace.
"Well that didn't take long" Inuyasha snickered as he then picked up Kagome bridal style but before following their daughter and Kirara they turned to their friends and wished them goodnight as they too went inside for the night.

After Kagome and Moroha sang a few songs together for Inuyasha and Kirara before she went to bed herself in Sango, Miroku, and their kid's room, the two grew tired.
"Can you two tell me the story of how you met now?" Moroha asked sleepily as her big brown eyes began to droop.
"I'm sorry sweetheart it's getting late" Kagome stated as she tucked her daughter in as she began to lie down.
"Aw…. then will you guys tell me the story on our way to aunt Kagura's please?" Moroha whined.
Kagome and Inuyasha smiled softly at their little girl.
"Of course" they said at the same time as they both kissed Moroha's forehead and then got up to leave as she dozed off to sleep.
"Are you excited for tomorrow?" Inuyasha asked his wife as they both gazed up at the stars and crescent moon in the sky.
"Yes, does your mother want to come along?" Kagome asked as she laid her head on her husband's shoulder as he shook his head.
"No she claimed she's getting too old for a long trip like this" he chuckled.
"Well me and little Moroha will have to put on a personal show for her when we get back," Kagome said, turning her attention back to the sky.
"What are you thinking about?" Inuyasha asked sweetly, holding Kagome close as she sighed contently.
"About how lucky I am to have you, Moroha, and the rest of our family and friends… and how none of this would've been possible if you hadn't come to my rock pit seeking The Sun Relic…" she trailed off sweetly.
"Yeah but I don't think your sun powers were the gift from the sun…. The real gift was you…." Inuyasha hugged Kagome close and kissed her as if he never wanted to let her go as she too kissed back as if her beloved Inuyasha was more precious than life itself.
