Eric wants someone meaningful in his life, someone he can build a future with. Thanks to a dream, he thinks that he's overlooked someone, Tris Prior. AU Modern day FOURTRIS! Tris: a college student and waitress by day, but dirty dancer at a club called Dauntless by night. She is looking for a way out, but what happens when she meets a mysteriously handsome young man with dark blue eyes assisting her English class, and then see him again at the club? The universe can be really cruel sometimes. Chapter 34 is up! Bit of a slowburn.

It's a time of war, of love, and of changes. Beatrice Prior is only sixteen when she meets Four, every thing about him draws her in even when others say she shouldn't be near him. Little does she know loving that boy will be dangerous for her.

(AU) My eyes flit from her wringing hands up to her eyes and back down again, several times. All that had built up between us—the secrets, the lies, the half-truths, unrevealed feelings…everything I had to keep from her. She knows. Now she knows. And she's…still here… She's still here…

ERIC & TRIS [AU] : Right from the start Tris knew that a night with Eric would change her relationship with Four. But little did she know that it was going to change her whole life. She gets pregnant and has to fight her way through the days with secrets and lies, not having a clue about what the father will think. (NO WAR / NO DIVERGENTS / FOUR YEARS AFTER INITIATION)

In simplest terms, fight or flight is a basic reflex for humans. Tris had too much to run from in the small town of Clarion, Iowa. So to escape her past she runs to ClearWater High, a prestigious boarding school in the middle of Chicago. She expects a new life with new friends and new enemies. She continues to cover her past until she meets someone who has as much to hide as her.

I'm creating a compilation of Divergent one shots that mainly stay true to the original trilogy events and characters. These stories can be interpreted as happening together in addition to the novels, mismatched, or one at a time. I'll try to keep the character logic and tone of voice as similar to Veronica's as I can. Chapters may vary in sexual intensity. Rated M just to be safe.

Modern Day - AU OOC. Tris and Tobias were arranged into a marriage neither of them wanted. Tobias is determined to get out of it, but Tris has a project: to make her husband fall in love with her.
