Third Person
As the five villains looked upon the scene in front of them, they continued to watch just what the hell they were seeing. In a strange demented world it nothing seemed to make sense yet with a look-a-like of their leader, Chaos himself and this new hedgehog, they thought things couldn't get any crazier. Maybe that should be the last of their problems.
"Who the hell are you?" The pure green hedgehog said with disgust clear in his emotionless voice.
"My name is Neikan. I'm the 'puny mortal' you were talking about." The look-a-like hedgehog of Nazo said as he looked at the other hedgehog without fear. "Who are you?"
"My name is no use for you considering you'll be dead within less of a second after I deal with this god." Chaos was thankful that the very slight distraction allowed him a chance to get some air back into his lungs but as soon as the hedgehog looked back at him, he found himself trying to get back that stolen air as he was squeezed just as hard before. But just as Chaos's vision was getting blurry, a silver orb slammed into the side of the hedgehog causing his grip on the water god to loosen and escape. The hedgehog then immediately looked at who was responsible. Neikan had his hand outstretched, palm facing the hedgehog as he looked with narrowed eyes.
"Leave him alone."
The hedgehog snarled as his chains all snapped outwards and poised to strike at Neikan. Said murky grey hedgehog didn't even flinch as another orb formed in his other hand. He didn't care he was basically staring at such a murderous hedgehog in front of him.
"You dare attack me!"
"What can I say? You hurting Chaos is like sticking needles into an innocent little bunny. Which I don't like either way."
"I'll make you regret that." The hedgehog's voice was like thin ice over a frozen below zero lake. Very close to cracking that one false move could lead to your very doom. Before either hedgehog could make a move to attack, Chaos had gotten enough air to get his bearings together and stand in front of them both before something drastic could happen.
"Stop!" Chaos said, trying to sound brave with the murderous hedgehog currently glaring daggers at him. Neikan made the orb he was holding disappear so as to not accidentally hit his friend. "Can you please just try to get along?" He pleaded to the pure green hedgehog.
"Why?" Said hedgehog didn't want to do anything with the murky grey hedgehog.
"You can't just destroy whatever you want!" Chaos continued to plead, trying to not get killed. The pure green hedgehog scoffed then looked at Neikan looking like he was possibly going to kill him when Chaos annoyed something sudden. "What about a deal!?"
The pure green hedgehog looked at the water god mildly interested. "What type of deal?"
"Um... Uh... S-Stay on Mobius for a weak and... Uh..."
"How about you stay on this planet for a whole week without killing anyone. If you are not satisfied, then you can do whatever the hell you want with the planet. Including if you want to kill me and Chaos." Neikan thankfully saved his ass as the hedgehog glanced from him to the water god. His chains then folded inwards like two demented wings and crossed his arms.
"Very well."
Chaos let out a little sigh in relief. That was stressful in itself. Now... He only hoped that Iblis had managed to distract those two... Anomaly's. But when he caught the faintest sight of white and black, he knew that wasn't the case. "W-Well maybe you two should Get a move on."
"What's with the sudden rush?" The pure green hedgehog asked the water god with some skepticism. Seeing his friend start to worry, even though he didn't know for what but could guess that it was because of such a murderous hedgehog, Neikan intervened.
"I believe the sooner we get this deal over with, the quicker it might seem like it would end." He suggested making the pure green hedgehog scoff.
"Fine. Then let's go." He started walking away with the white hedgehog in tow.
"Shouldn't you tell me your name? Since you know mine and Chaos's names." The pure green hedgehog was silent as they walked to the edge of the island. When he looked off the island with slightly narrowed eyes observing all the residents on the land below like pathetic ants to crush under his feet, that's when he spoke up.
"Balance Keeper. Keeper for short." Keeper glanced at Neikan with abhorrence. He then started flying with Neikan right behind him down below.
"Woah hey what!?" Scourge suddenly spoke up trying to wrap his head around what the five villains just heard. "What was that all about!?"
"I don't know..." Exe muttered just barely audible.
"Keeper..." Nazo tried the name out himself trying to place where he had heard that until he remembered where or rather who he heard it from. "Light..."
"Light?" Mephiles asked. "What about him?"
"Light called Sonic Keeper." The other four villains were still confused, believing it to be a coincidence.
"And?" Scourge questioned. It was only until Nazo looked around to see Chaos still with a worried look as two beings - one white and the other black - was coming to see him that he connected the dots.
"This is the past."
"What!?" Three out of four villains yelled out in complete disbelief. Fleetway was strangely silent. Scourge then spoke up as he gestured to the demented area. "How the fucking hell is this the past!?"
"I don't know." Nazo responded but then pointed at the two familiar white and black beings. "But those two gave me that idea."
"... Is that Light and Dark?" Fleetway spoke out of the blue, recognizing the white hedgehog with pure black eyes and white hedgehog with pure black eyes. Although they did look different - the black one looked to be made out of vines as the white one was made out of fire - they were recognized for their obvious colours.
"Huh... Even they look different..." Exe judged noticing the slight differences from the Light and Dark they saw and the ones from now.
"Indeed." Mephiles agreed as he looked at Nazo. "Should we listen in on what they are saying?"
"We should get more information on what this situation we found ourselves in." And with that, the five villains flew over to, what they suppose is now, this time's Light and Dark and of course, the poor water god who suffered enough already; Chaos.
"So this is the rinky dink planet Iblis was talking about." The fire being mused as he observed the island from where he was floating. His legs were crossed with one over the other while his arms were folded. He had an unamused expression on his face. His gaze then fell on the water god. "Couldn't you have chosen a much better place then a place full of ants Kajo?"
"My name is Chaos." Chaos started for what felt like the millionth time. Those two always made fun of him by getting his name wrong. Whether it was on purpose or just simply an accident, they made no attempt at hiding or fixing it.
"Whatever Kajo." The fire being waved him off like nothing then looked at the black vine being with his head bent in an impossible angle, possibly due to him being made out of fire. "What is the result Dark?"
The vine being's one arm deformed into a bunch of vines as he easily pulled a demented tree out of the ground. "Mobius is no doubt in connection with Oblivion. It explains the indifferent surroundings." He then crushed it without a moment's hesitation. He then glanced at the fire being. "There is some possibility that we could find his manipulation here. As well as Keeper's."
"Interesting." He muttered. "And of the mortal?"
"Substantial amount of power." Dark said nonchalantly as he walked near Chaos as he picked up a single leaf. His arm deformed once more as one vine held the leaf while another vine carefully ran along the surface of the leaf to reveal residue of said mortal's power. "But like every mortal, use too much of said power, he will burn himself out." He tossed the leaf away watching it slowly float down. "Unsurprising after all Light." As he formed his arm again, he crushed the leaf under his foot.
"Yes it indeed is." Light responded. Both white and black beings looked at Chaos who was sweating bullets by now as he had listened to what they were saying. They couldn't possibly want to end Neikan's existence, but Chaos knew that was only wishful thinking. Whatever those two wanted, they went out of their way to get it. But who was this mysterious other being they were talking about beside Keeper? Chaos didn't get a chance to ask as Light landed on the ground in front of him with an innocent enough looking smile.
"Kajo, care to tell us where Keeper and this mortal went?" Chaos knew that staying silent was the worst idea ever as he had seen in the corner of his eyes as Light would kill him to get those answers until Dark spoke up.
"Do whatever the hell you want with him later Light. I got his trail. We could use him for bait." Dark said. He was usually the laid back one to Light's fiery personality but one should never be swayed by first impressions. Both are equally sadistic and no one should misjudge them. They represent the Yin-Yang after all, with a fine line to tell any differences between each other. Both quite the same yet different as night is to day.
Light looked a little disheartened by the news but quickly composed himself. "Alright. Let's go then before any permanent damage could be done."
"Agreed." Before either could fly away, Chaos quickly stopped them.
"W-Wait! You can't just kill Neikan! We made a deal with Keeper!"
"Deal or no deal, this was set up water god." Dark replied nonchalantly as he started walking away. "This planet may be inhabited by mortals, but who's to say Balance isn't here."
Chaos was silent for a moment. Again with this mysterious Balance, he never knew who these two were talking about. They always called Keeper, Keeper. So who was this Balance? Everytime he asked they would divert the topic. "But..."
"No buts Kajo." Light gave him a glare to shut him up. "We have our job to do, you should just stay out of the way before we kill you for interference." And with that, the two of them flew off. Chaos sighed as he stood in his spot a moment longer then turned around to start walking away.
"So I was right, those two are Light and Dark. This is the past." Nazo declared.
"But that still doesn't explain what's going on here." Exe said. It was only until they saw Fleetway floating over to Chaos that noticed what trouble they could start out especially with changing the past.
"Fleet! Get back here!" Scourge yelled trying to get the golden hedgehog's attention with no such luck. He then started running after him with the other villains also noticing and Nazo calling after him. "Scourge, get back here!"
It was only when Fleetway floated in front of Chaos that Scourge caught up to him. "Fleet, what are you doing!?"
"Investigating." Is all he said as he glanced at the water god who hasn't noticed them yet. Before Scourge got a chance to reply, he noticed that it looked like Chaos wasn't stopping one bit. He was then very shocked as Chaos had walked right through the green hedgehog like he was a ghost. It startled him a lot that he looked at himself then at the water god who continued walking without any changes. Seeing this new development, the other three villains walked out to join the green hedgehog and golden hedgehog.
"Well this certainly is interesting." Nazo said as he glanced at the retreating water god. "So we can't interfere even if we wanted to."
"That is sorta smart." Exe commented.
"Now that we know of this little predicament that would make things a lot easier, shall we get going after them?" Mephiles suggested making Nazo nod.
"Yes." The five villains then started going after the four beings, not knowing what they would find themselves.
