A/N: Hey guys! Back again with another, longer fic this time! Hope you like it! Also Fanfiction won't let me use the at symbol for the Twitter handles so just imagine they're in front of the usernames :/

"And this one goes out to the girl with the red scarf in my Math 220 class."

The first beats to Taylor Swift's Red begin to float through his headphones for a split second as she switches the audio before muting himself. Across from him, Leo shoots a thumbs up, headphones on as he mouths along to the words.

Percy takes the time to take a sip of water and wonder if maybe the girl he's dedicated the song to is listening. Probably not. Their college radio station is not the most popular thing ever, mostly there for audio engineering students like himself (and others) to play with.

But it's still a legitimate radio station with segments, ads, announcements, and the rest of it. And they do have a group, albeit a small one, of pretty dedicated listeners.

Somehow, he doesn't think the girl in his calc class with the curly blonde hair and nice smile is one of those listeners.

His thoughts are cut short by the signal that the song is ending, so he turns his focus back to the task at hand.

"And that's all for today from me! Remember to drop your song suggestions by tweeting at us by using #SirenSongs and we'll try to include them in tomorrow's show. Thanks for tuning in to Siren Radio, I've been your host, Percy!"

With his signoff done, he takes his headphones off as Leo switches to an ad break before following his lead.

"That was a great way to use a trending song," Leo comments as he stands up to stretch.

Percy shrugs. Honestly, the thought hadn't crossed his mind, it's just the first song that had popped up in his head when he'd seen her walk into class this morning.

"So there's actually a girl?" Leo asks, gauging his expression.

In the vaguest sense, and yet he can't help but duck his head down.

"Oh wow, you like her!"

He frowns at Leo. "It's not a big deal. We've barely spoken, she's just a girl in my math class." A very smart, very pretty girl (and did he mention she has a nice smile?) who he'd like to know better, but that's beside the point.

"And yet you dedicated a song to her," Leo responds dryly while messing with the soundboard again, switching to a set of songs that would play for a while. (Because of course Thalia is late.)

"I dedicated a song to you like two weeks ago," he defends. Granted, it had been Never Gonna Give You Up by Rick Astley and was solely chosen to rick roll him.

Leo doesn't even bat an eye as he looks up from the board. "You're proving my point, you only do that kind of thing because you care about the person."

Percy's about to a retort a very untrue comment that he doesn't care when Thalia bursts through the door.

"I'm not sorry I'm late," she says, setting down her bag.

Leo rolls his eyes. "At least you showed up, Reyna's a good influence on you."

And before Thalia has a chance to address that, Percy grabs Leo and pulls him out the door with a "see ya later" in an effort to avoid possible carnage.

-.-

Since it's part of his job, he checks Twitter later that night as he's laying in bed. (Never mind the fact that he was already on it anyway.)

He should be sleeping (actually, he should be doing math homework) but he justifies being on his phone because it is technically his job.

There are never too many tweets under the hashtag and he's able to find where he left off pretty easily. The few regulars who always request songs are back.

mushuonfire (who he's pretty sure is Leo's alt account) has requested All Star by Smash Mouth.

Zhang27 (who is Frank trying to be a good roommate) has also sent in a request: Shivers by Ed Sheeran.

He scrolls for a little longer, making notes on his phone of the songs they can play and who suggested them. The second-to-last tweet makes him pause.

This is interesting…

He makes a note to start off with it for tomorrow's show.

-.-

"I'd like to formally apologize for my song choice in my dedication yesterday," he starts after his introduction. "Shoutout to pipes13 on twitter, who is a regular so please know that we appreciate your support!" He pauses for a second as Leo throws in an impromptu cheer sound byte. "Anyway, their tweet said: if the girl was wearing a red scarf, then the better song ref would be All Too Well."

"So," he continues, "in tribute to both the girl in my math class and our supportive twitter follower pipes13 we'll start off by playing All Too Well by Taylor Swift."

He mutes as the audio switches to the song. He had listened to it for the first time last night, upon reading the tweet (a bad idea to listen to it at 1 in the morning by yourself in bed by the way.) Because as much as he'd like to say his eyes had watered up from tiredness, it was most definitely an impact from the song.

Though, beyond the scarf detail it didn't really describe the girl (who's name he'd learned was Annabeth) or his situation with her.

Not that there is a situation to begin with. Annabeth, who he'd seen this morning during his discussion section, was most likely still unaware of his existence beyond being one of the many people in her class.

Aimlessly, he pulls out his phone (because the song is a long one) to double check his list of requests he'd made the night before.

A new notification from twitter for the SirenSongs hashtag stares back at him.

He doesn't have time to open it up though, since Leo starts to signal for him to get ready. Instead, he verifies his next suggestion and moves closer to his mic.

"I hope that fulfilled your request pipes13! Moving on to our next recommendation by Zhang27, we'll be playing Shivers by Ed Sheeran."

As soon as the song starts, he quickly opens up the Twitter notification. There's a new tweet from a username he doesn't recognize, artsafterglow which reads: All Too Well is a pretty sad song to dedicate if u didn't break up w/them, I suggest Treacherous instead.

It's a surprising message that he doesn't have time to dwell on as Leo starts to signal the end of the song. Keeping on his predefined script, he announces a few more requests and waits for an ad break to show Leo the tweet.

His friend's eyebrows raise high enough to almost disappear under his mop of curly hair. "You should mention that before the end of today's show," he says, before turning his attention back to his job.

In an effort to be fair to the people who sent in requests yesterday, he waits till the end before addressing the new development.

"Right before I leave you off, there's been an update to the song dedication from yesterday. Twitter user artsafterglow tweeted in response to the All Too Well song choice from earlier."

He then reads off the tweet before announcing the last song would indeed be Treacherous by Taylor Swift.

It's another song he hasn't heard before, so he decides to listen in as it plays. A bad decision, since it just leaves him wondering how her lips would feel against his.

"And that's all from Siren Radio for now, I've been your host, Percy! Once again, please remember to leave your song requests on twitter under #SirenSongs, I look forward to seeing your suggestions tomorrow!"

As usual, Leo switches to an ad break as he gets his bag together. Thalia busts in, on time for once, staring at something on her phone.

"We had some more listeners today," she says by way of greeting, still looking at her phone. "Not much, but a little."

She looks up to meet his eyes. "And I heard that last bit, Jackson, what's all this about this girl?"

His face warms at the mention and he groans, running a hand over his face and regretting ever mentioning her. Leo bounds towards them with a wide grin.

"A crush he decided to dedicate a song to yesterday," he helpfully explains.

Percy makes a face at his friend. "I don't have a crush!" What is he, twelve? He happens to be a twenty-two-year-old college student, not some pining middle school boy who has a crush.

"Right…"

He scowls at the two of them for a second, before deciding to give up on this battle and walking out the door—Leo, of course, in tow.

"You should talk to her," he says, stepping in stride beside him. "It might make for more content."

"Oh, so now my life is just good for content?" Percy grumbles back.

Leo shoots him a smile. "Can you think of a better motivation?"

Damn Leo for knowing him too well. He just shoves his friend lightly causing his laugh to ring out against the otherwise quiet hall.

-.-

However, when she walks into lecture the next day, his feet remain planted in place and his mouth doesn't move as she walks by.

Well, there goes the supposed motivation.

Instead, he sinks further into his seat, trying not to look as she sits down a couple rows down, staring at his notebook.

It's not even for the content, he just wants to get to know her. But it's difficult to find a reason and not be awkward about it.

She's not wearing the scarf today, he notices, but rather a jean jacket. Her shirt had been some sports team, Eagles or something like that? He wonders if she likes sports. (He also wonders who the Eagles are.)

And he tries extra hard not to wonder about the song from yesterday that had him thinking about her lips.

The lecture ends with his half-scribbled notes that're just going to make his homework harder later and a resigned sigh. He packs up his stuff and accepts it's just going to be another day without talking to her.

He barges out of the lecture center, only holding on for a second to keep it open for the person behind him as he attempts to shake her from his head, instead wondering if Leo could score him a free donut.

"Thanks," a voice from behind him says, startling him out of his thoughts.

He looks back to realize that the person he had been holding open the door for was none other than Annabeth.

"No problem," he mumbles, still shocked at an actual interaction.

She just shoots him a smile as she keeps walking, now passing him. Well, turns out he was wrong after all.

He forces himself to walk in the other direction just to avoid looking creepy.

The cold November air cools his head a little as he pulls out his phone, intent on trying to get a free donut out of Leo. But a notification from twitter catches his eye instead.

He opens it up to see that pipes13 had replied to artsafterglow's Treacherous tweet.

pipes23: you make a fair point, but he said he doesn't know her that well so the even better song ref is Everything Has Changed #SirenSongs

There's no reply to it, but there is one like (presumably from artsafterglow). It's a little strange to see people so invested in one song dedication, but he still can't help but smile at the interactions and engagement.

It's kind of cool to see their little community weigh in on something like this.

By the time he's about to start the show, there are five more likes on the tweet. It's definitely going to be his opener.

"We have another installment of the song dedication to the girl in my Math 220 class," he says after his introduction. " pipes13 has replied to artsafterglow's suggestion from yesterday which was Treacherous, for those of you who don't remember, and has raised yet another suggestion."

He reads out the tweet verbatim before announcing. "So in an effort to finally settle this song dedication to a girl who wasn't even wearing the scarf today but an Eagles t-shirt, I present Everything Has Changed by Taylor Swift feat. Ed Sheeran."

This is a song he does know, and he has to agree with pipes13 that it's been the most accurate song suggestion so far.

Though she had said thanks instead of hello and they hadn't actually talked or anything so there were still quite a few things that didn't fit.

Everything has not changed and he wishes it would.

But all that does happen is his phone dies and he has to text his list to Leo in order to wrap up the show.

-.-

"Dude!" Leo bursts through his door the next morning as him and Frank are eating breakfast. "Have you seen this!"

He's waving his phone wildly in front of him which results in Percy, quite literally, not being able to see anything.

"What?"

Leo shoots him in an incredulous look. "You haven't checked your phone?"

"It's charging. I left it dead yesterday so I could get my homework done." And truly it had been the only motivator for him to actually complete the damn thing. (Though he had fallen asleep doing it, which meant he hadn't actually had a chance to charge his phone until the morning.)

"You need to see this!"

Leo hands him his phone, open to Twitter, displaying the dozens of interactions under the SirenSong hashtag, the most they'd ever gotten.

Most of them read something along the lines of, "Eagle's t-shirt!?" or "omg gold rush!" A few say, "who's here from tik tok?!"

"What the hell happened?" Percy asks, scrolling through all the tweets.

"I think someone made a tik tok about this," Leo replies, leaning over his shoulder to read them. "I didn't look that much into it before coming here."

"Hold on," Frank says, speaking up for the first time. "I think Hazel sent me something about this."

With all the attention on Frank's phone, he opens a video from his DMs.

It's a tik tok of a girl giving a rundown of what's been going on with the song suggestions as screenshots of the tweets show up behind her. Percy recognizes his own voice clip interspersed in with the explanation.

"So basically," the girl ends, "with the addition of the Eagle's t-shirt both artsafterglow and pipes13 the original people in this have called for gold rush to be the next song choice and the rest of us just want to hear more of the story between Percy and this mystery girl who fits Taylor Swift's poems like a perfect rhyme!"

Percy's mouth drops open as Frank pauses the video before it can loop again.

"Oh my god." Leo is the first to break the silence. "You're viral."

"But this is good," Frank urges. "You guys will get more listeners!"

It is good. But all of a sudden it feels like his name is up in lights and he's not really sure how to handle it.

But he knows two things. One, if Annabeth hears of any of this he is screwed. And two, he needs to listen to like every Taylor Swift song stat.

-.-

For the first time in forever, he's actually nervous before going on. Knowing there are a lot more eyes—or, well, ears—on the show than usual is, well, nerve-wracking to say the least.

Leo shoots him an encouraging thumbs up as he switches him on.

"Hello and welcome back to Siren Radio, I'm your host Percy!" he says, trying to keep his usual amount of energy. "When I saw Twitter this morning, I was blown away at the amount of messages we got from you guys under the SirenSongs hashtag. We just want to say we really appreciate all the support." He pauses as Leo once again adds in the cheering soundbyte.

"And we hear you loud and clear. I had to actually listen to gold rush to see what you all meant, and I get now why you all wanted it. So, without further ado, here is gold rush by Taylor Swift."

Leo shoots him another thumbs up as he takes a shaky breath when the song starts to play. Even though he knows that there are more listeners, it's still just him and Leo in the booth and there's a comfort in that. It helps him relax.

Well, until Professor Apolo, the professor who oversees the radio, walks in. And though he's shooting everyone a bright smile, Percy still tenses up.

"You guys are doing great!" he says loudly once they hit an ad break. "I'm seeing the hashtag blow up. I want you to do a Q&A and interact with some of these people, Percy! This is great for our numbers!"

Percy tries to smile back as the professor walks back towards Leo, apparently here to stay and ready to watch over this next bit.

But it's all too fast and there's no way he can just pull a segment from his ass.

"We have an exciting announcement," he says with as much enthusiasm as he can muster. "We'll be doing a short Q&A segment soon. But first, our next request comes from gemdigger, an oldie but a goody, Don't Stop Believing!"

Leo switches to the song just as Thalia bursts in, earlier than ever before. "Have you seen our numbers!" she whisper-yells.

Apparently, just mentioning the Q&A segment caused a lot of hype 'cause he can't immediately find where he'd left off.

Thalia comes over to sit by him, pulling out her phone, clearly intent on helping him. He makes a note to buy her a donut. And together, they manage to gather a few questions that seem to encompass what the majority of people are asking.

In the middle of it, he manages to announce a few more requests that Leo plays back to back.

Thalia nods encouragingly at him when it's time for him to start the segment, which is a nice sentiment to come from her.

"And we're back with our first ever Q&A segment due to popular demand," Percy says into the mic. "We've chosen a few questions here. The first one is by the one who started it all, pipes13: Any update on you and mystery girl?"

He chuckles awkwardly. "I hate to break it to you all, but there's never been anything. Like I mentioned earlier, we've barely spoken and that's still true." He pauses there ready to move on when Professor Apolo gestures for him to keep going. "And," he adds begrudgingly. "I have a hard time getting myself to talk to her."

"Next question is from artsafterglow, the second player in this development who asks: are you aware your life is a Taylor Swift song? Lol"

It's one of the more joke-y questions but he had to include it. Laughing properly this time he answers, "I'm quickly learning that this is Taylor Swift's world and I'm just living in it."

"Our third question comes from goths1989 who asks: Have you seen Silena Beau's tik tok?"

He takes a breath before answering. "I have! My coworker Leo came to my place this morning and we watched it together. It definitely explained why Twitter was blowing up."

"And the last question is from drsolboy who asks I'm guessing you won't be telling us mystery girl's name? but can you tell us if she's heard about any of this?"

Given that she had acted completely normal in class today, he'd like to think that she hasn't heard of any of this.

"You're right that I won't tell her name, and I ask you guys to also maintain her privacy," he starts. "To answer your second question, I don't think she's heard about this. Which is probably good, because I don't want to freak her out or anything."

"And that's all the questions for this segment! We're going to wrap up now with a song dedication to all of you! A Taylor Swift classic, here is Love Story."

"Great job, keep it up!" Professor Apolo says when the song starts. With another bright smile, he, thankfully, leaves.

Percy finally feels like he can breathe.

"That wasn't so bad," Thalia says from beside him, nudging him a little after noticing his slump.

"No," he admits. "It wasn't."

Now that it's over and the pressure is off, he can say it really wasn't that bad. He'd even been able to get through Apolo throwing a curveball at them.

If only he could get through a conversation with Annabeth.

-.-

There's a fine line between pressure and motivation and he's not sure which one is behind the decidedly insane action he's about to take.

The TA has given them a worksheet to attempt to solve before going over the concepts and he's got a ten-minute window to lean over and ask Annabeth for help.

It also helps that he does actually need it.

With a willpower he, quite frankly, didn't know he possessed, he actually manages to get a word out without sounding like an idiot.

"Hey."

She turns around to face him, bright grey eyes now fixed on him as her blonde hair bounces in its ponytail. "Hi."

It's the closest he's been to her, like ever, and it takes him a second to remember what he's supposed to be saying.

"I, uh, was wondering if you got number 5? I don't quite understand…" he lets his words trail off, hoping she'll pick up the bait.

"Yeah, I did actually," she responds with a smile. Angling her paper, she shows him her work. "So you need to start by breaking this up…"

He listens to her explanation, partly because he actually needs to, and partly because it distracts from how much closer she gets when she leans over his paper.

"Oh wow," he exclaims as he arrives at the solution with her guidance. "That actually made a lot of sense. Thank you, Annabeth!"

He realizes a little too late that maybe it's weird for him to know her name, but she just smiles back.

"No problem, Percy!"

Scratch that, she knows his name. Maybe everything is actually changing.

-.-

"Hello and welcome back to Siren Radio, I'm your host Percy, whose phone has been swamped with your Twitter notifications." He chuckles a little.

"Thank you guys again for all you support. I know you all want to hear more about mystery girl and I still don't really have an update But…" he pauses and Leo adds another impromptu sound byte, this time of a drumroll.

"Okay the drumroll was a little dramatic Leo, anyway, I actually managed to talk to her and ask her for some help in math today. And she successfully helped me figure out number 5."

Now that he's said it, it sounds extremely anticlimactic. He chuckles awkwardly. "So yeah, it's not a big deal or anything but um…a step nonetheless I guess."

Trying to quickly brush aside the fact that though no one but Leo can see him, his cheeks are turning red, he continues on.

"So let's move on to the first request from gamergoth for a great Panic! at the Disco callback: I write Sins not Tragedies."

The song starts and he runs a hand over his face, embarrassed at well, everything. Trying to ignore the thought that people might be laughing at him, he opens his phone to focus on the next song request.

And of course, there are a bunch of new notifications under the hashtag that he has to steel himself to open.

But instead of being insulting like he expected they all read different variations of "Oh my god 5!" and "Did he say 5?" and "He has to play The Archer!" There are also a few requests for All too Well and one for White Horse.

What?

He has to announce the second song though, so once again he tables his confusion as he tries to make sense of why everyone is freaking out about the number 5.

As the first chords to Bad Habits start playing, he pulls up Google. This might be the dumbest thing to Google and it looks even dumber when he actually types it out: "what does number 5 song mean."

The first hit is about some song titled number 5, which doesn't make sense so he keeps scrolling. The third headline makes a lot more sense: 'Taylor Swift's Track 5 Explained.'

Of course, it has something to do with Taylor Swift. He really should know this by now.

He announces another request before finally clicking on the article and reading through the explanation.

After having gained some idea of what's going on, he turns back to the mic after their ad break, finally ready to address the chaos from Twitter.

"Before we get into the next song, I see a lot of you have tweeted about number 5. I'll be honest, I had to google what it meant. But I've now learned that apparently Taylor Swift has a habit of putting her saddest song on track five. So in honor of that, please tweet which track five Taylor Song you want to hear."

"And now on with the requests, this one from prettybitch who requested another throwback California Girls."

"Dude," Leo says when the song starts to play. "You really need to just listen to all of Taylor Swift."

Though he'd jokingly thought about that before, it's more true that he ever could have imagined. He makes a mental note to get started tonight.

Checking his phone again, he sees that pipes13 has been kind enough to make a poll under the hashtag of all the track five songs after his announcement.

When it's time for the last song, he announces the winner.

"First of all, I'd like to thank pipes13 for making a poll of all the songs, thank you so much for the help there! And as most of you have seen, the winner is The Archer by a very close margin. So here it is."

Thalia walks in just as the song is about to start, once again surprisingly early.

"What?" she asks when both him and Leo turn to look at her. "I wanna be a part of all the action."

-.-

The 'action' thankfully comes to a rest for the weekend.

A cold November wind brushes against his flannel as he trudges to the campus library. It's a really picturesque sight, gold leaves fall down like pieces into place to cover the remaining patches of green grass in the quad.

But despite the painted blue sky and the allure of the outside, he still has homework to get done. So he begrudgingly turns towards the library door, about to open it when a voice halts his action.

"Percy?"

There's no way.

"Annabeth? Hey?"

He hopes his voice doesn't betray the sudden nervousness he feels as she walks closer to him. She's wearing a hoodie with some faded blue jeans and still manages to look beautiful.

"What's up?" she asks, catching up to him in a few short steps. "Going to the library?"

"Yeah," he replies as he holds open the door for her. Her answering smile is blinding. "Got to work on that math homework."

"Me too," she replies. "Want to work on it together?"

He hasn't caught up on all of Taylor Swift yet, but he knows enough to know that today is very much like a fairytale because there's no way this is actually happening.

And yet about forty-five minutes later finds them sitting at a table having made decent headway into their homework. But his brain is scattered from the math, and he can tell that even Annabeth's attention is waning, wandering more to the daylight outside than the fifteenth problem in front of them.

"Wanna take a break and go outside for a bit?" he suggests.

"Yes, please," Annabeth agrees readily.

They pack up their bags and once again venture out into the cold. It's not too bad now with the sun out and they cut through the quad, leaves crunching beneath their feet.

"I love fall," Annabeth says with a sigh, falling into step beside him.

"What do you love the most about it?" he asks, slowing down his pace to enjoy the walk.

She takes a second to think, tilting her head to the side in an adorable way. "I guess it's because it feels like a second beginning, where you can let go of things to make room for new things."

He's never really thought about it like that. A hope blooms inside of him at her words, though.

"Are you making room for new things?" he asks softly.

She smiles at him, slow and sweet and he thinks that maybe it's time to hold on to that highest hope when she replies. "Yes, I am."

-.-

At some point, she's going to find out about the radio. (Well, not that the existence of the school radio is a secret, but she's going to kind out that he runs a show and that it's gotten a little bit of popularity because of her.)

Obviously, he hasn't called her out by name, but there's enough details for her to figure out that it's her.

But even that fear can't mar the high he's riding from Saturday and earlier in class today where she had opted to sit by him.

Before even doing his introduction, he plays Today Was A Fairytale because it's all he's been able to think for the past eighteen hours.

Leo, of course, picks up on his good mood as he runs the first song before the introduction without a word and a hint of a smile on his face.

"Hello and welcome back to Siren Radio, I'm your host Percy and that was Today Was A Fairytale by Taylor Swift. For once, I've beaten you guys to the punch and gotten a song in for mystery girl. We were able to do some homework together over the weekend and I feel like the song is fitting. Unless of course there are better fall-based songs that make more sense?" he pauses to let the question sink in.

"Regardless, let's get right into the song requests from Twitter. The first one is from one of our regulars Zhang27 who asked for The A Team by Ed Sheeran."

He learns that there are quite a few autumn-themed Taylor Swift songs after all. Enough for him to wonder if Annabeth has heard them since she likes fall so much. Which of course brings him to the next question: does she listen to the school radio?

And what if she's figured out what's been going on, and that he likes her and he's somehow managed to end something before it even begins?

The spike of fear at that thought is jarring. Because she's going to learn about this eventually.

And maybe it's best to shut this all down earlier rather than later?

It would lose the station the best traction it's had in months, though. Not only that, he's started to enjoy interacting with people. It grounds what otherwise feels like a very detached sort of job. And, after all this time, he's started to really care about this place.

Completely torn, he makes his way through the song requests while trying to come up with a plan.

The truth is easier to ignore than believe.

He needs to tell her.

"And that was the last song request for today," he says into the mic at the end of the show. "And all you guys on Twitter have a lot to say about autumn Taylor Swift songs and it seems like the consensus is none other than what started this whole thing: Red."

And as the first few notes play, he makes his choice.

-.-

If he was nervous just starting a normal conversation with Annabeth, he's an absolute mess now. He can just hope he's doing a decent job of hiding it.

He'd explained on the radio yesterday that he was going to tell mystery girl about all this and if she didn't like it, this would have to stop. It had killed him to say it then and it kills him now as he anxiously waits for Annabeth to walk into discussion.

At some point he turns his attention to his phone, just so he doesn't look so obvious. Avoiding Twitter is hard, but he can't look at the hashtag. Because though most of the people had been supportive, there were a few who were unhappy with the decision.

It doesn't make any of this easier.

He's been up almost all night trying to figure out how he was going to tell her that he had a crush and works at a radio station and it kind of blew up without him knowing. It was such an insane story in the first place and he's not quite over it.

"What's got you so blue?" Annabeth's teasing voice comes from his right.

His head snaps up, the apology already at his lips but nothing comes out as he stares at her face. Her lips.

Her red lips.

What are the chances?

"Annabeth…" he stutters a bit on her name.

"Percy." Her voice is clear and there's a warm smile on her face.

"I…uh…" His premediated words fall apart in front of her and her red lips.

She chuckles. "What's up? Why are you dark grey all alone without even being alone?"

He thinks she knows.

(She knows.)

Groaning he puts his hands on his face, leaning his elbows against the tiny desk in front of him. "Oh my god…how long?"

She laughs for real at his reaction and he swears it's the best sound he has ever heard.

"I was a bit late to the party actually, I didn't get there until the whole number five thing. That's what really cinched it."

"I'm so sorry," he mumbles through his hands.

"Don't be, you didn't do anything wrong. No one even knows. But when you said that you might stop yesterday, I just couldn't let that happen."

He drops his hands to face her and her really distracting red lips.

"You want the truth?" she asks, training her eyes on his.

He nods frantically.

She smiles. "How about a date?"

-.-

On a Wednesday, in a café, he watched it begin.

-.-

"Hello and welcome to Siren Radio, I'm your host Percy and I have a special guest with me today. You know her as mystery girl, I know her as my girlfriend, and here is Everything Has Changed by Taylor Swift."

A/N: And there you have it! I'm not sorry for all the Taylor Swift in this fic lol (especially since we just got Red TV!) There are a LOT of references in this one, some a lot more subtle than others, so let me know if you picked up on any!

Also shoutout to anon on tumblr who asked for a secret admirer au! The radio host concept had been in my list of ideas for a long time and it finally came to fruition!

I hope you guys liked this! Please Review! I'd love to hear your thoughts!

And as always, thanks for reading!

See ya! :)
