Author's Note: Stage four! I edited some things about it, but otherwise I think it feels pretty close to the original one. The fun fact is that I actually forgot to add Koakuma in this chapter. I realized only after I was done with the chapter, so I quickly added her fight in between, hope it doesn't look too out of place. Without further ado, please enjoy the chapter.

Sanae was inside the mansion, she looked around the interior and was absolutely blown away by how fancy it was.

She has never seen anything like this back in the Outside World, so she was eyeing everything like a child would in a sweets shop.

But she reminded herself that she wasn't here for a visit, she was here to stop the mistress of this mansion from spreading the mist.

However, she wasn't really sure where to head exactly, she forgot to ask the gatekeeper for directions and the mansion looked enormous from outside, so finding the owner might be a bit troublesome.

Well, whatever, she might as well explore the mansion a bit, she will probably stumble upon someone that would tell her where to go anyway.

She was half-right, she stumbled into someone, actually a swarm of fairies wearing maid uniforms.

They weren't actually thrilled to see an intruder walking around the mansion, and they weren't that talkative too, so the wind priestess was still clueless about where to go and had to fight them at the same time.

After exploring the mansion for a bit blindly, Sanae came across big double doors, she guessed that it must some kind of important place, so it was her best shot to find more information.

She entered the room and looked around.

It was the most impressive library that she has ever seen, it compared to nothing that she has seen in the Outside World.

However, she didn't really have time to admire it any further, since upon her entrance she was attacked by floating magic books.

She was bewildered because no matter what she did, she couldn't destroy them, she had to concentrate on dodging the danmaku flying from them.

Sanae was getting desperate, because the books kept firing an increasing amount of danmaku that was getting harder to dodge.

She finally used her spell card bomb to clear the danmaku, since she couldn't handle it anymore.

The books finally disappeared after a while, then a woman appeared in their stead.

She had two pairs of black wings, one on her head and one on her back, long red hair and eyes of the same color. She was wearing a black dress with white sleeves.

The woman didn't say anything and just attacked the wind priestess.

Strangely enough, she didn't declare any spell cards and just fired some danmaku patterns, so defeating her wasn't anything too hard for Sanae.

Soon after, another woman appeared in front of the wind priestess.

She had purple hair and eyes of the same color, she had many ribbons tied to her hair and other parts of her clothing. She was wearing a pink pajama-like clothing and a night-cap with a gold crescent moon on it.

She didn't look pleased to see the wind priestess.

-You, the blue-white one! There is no ransacking in my library!

-Blue-white? Your library? Are you perhaps the owner of this mansion?

The magician raised her eyebrow.

-What do you need from the mistress?

-I want her to stop spreading this mist, it's causing a lot of trouble outside.

-Then I absolutely cannot allow you to meet her.

The magician then declared her spell card Fire Sign "Agni Shine"

The spell card wasn't terribly hard to dodge, but it wasn't easy either.

Sanae then declared her spell card Esoterica "Forgotten Ritual"

The magician dodged it without much issue, however wind priestess noted that while she was skilled at dodging, she was slow at moving and relying on the dead spots to dodge than finding the right way to avoid danmaku.

The magician then declared her next spell card Earth Sign "Trilithon Shake"

This spell card was much harder than previous one, Sanae was doing good at first, but she was getting terribly close to getting hit at the end, but she managed to avoid it.

The wind priestess declared another spell card Esoterica "Secretly Inherited Art of Danmaku" It was a harder version of her previous spell card, she wanted to test her theory of magician's weakness in practice.

It looks like she was right, the magician was having a lot of trouble dodging this spell card at her speed, she managed to dodge it by sheer luck only.

The magician declared another spell card Metal & Water Sign "Mercury Poison"

But likewise, Sanae was having trouble with this one too. The danmaku grazed her clothes multiple times, and she was panicking a bit during it. But in the end she managed to avoid the spell card too.

Now it was Sanae's chance to finally defeat the magician, if this spell card didn't work out, then she most likely would be defeated by the magician's next spell card.

She declared Sea Opening "Moses's Miracle"

It wasn't her strongest spell card, but it required fast movement to dodge it, so the magician would most likely fail at it.

It worked. She was quickly overwhelmed by the pattern and got pelleted by the bullets, causing her to fall to the ground.

The magician started coughing violently on the ground.

Sanae quickly landed on the ground and ran to her.

The wind priestess helped the magician sit up straight and gently patted her back.

-There, there, it's okay.

After coughing a bit, the magician started feeling better.

Sanae helped her stand up.

She looked at the wind priestess.

-You're pretty knowledgeable at this.

Sanae scratched the back of her head.

-Ahaha, it's just something doctor back in the Outside World taught me. Patting somebody's back or chest helps loosen the mucus in lungs, so they can cough it up easily.

The magician nodded.

-Well, I must thank you for helping me, however, don't think that I'm indebted to you.

Sanae raised her hand defensively.

-It's fine, I just didn't want to leave you like this. Well, I will be going then, take care!

The wind priestess turned around to leave the library.

-She's on the roof.

Sanae turned around to face the magician.

-Huh?

-The mistress. You're looking for her, right? Beware of the maid, though.

The wind priestess was confused.

-Maid? Why?

-Just pray that you won't encounter her. She's not very fond of intruders. Especially of the ones that are danger to her mistress.

Sanae nodded hesitantly and turned around to leave the library again.

I mean, a simple maid couldn't be that dangerous, right?
