As sometimes happens, I can no longer wait any longer and am opening the 2M, 4M, and 4F slots. It's pretty much first come first serve but I will give some preference to people with no submissions yet in this story. Feel free to drop just a name and a bare-bones summary (like one line long) of personality and backstory- just enough for me to write an intro scene and the rest can come later- if you want to be extra-dextra speedy.

Usually the Four volunteers were decided months in advance with very little room for adjustment. It was strange that the day before the Reaping I still didn't know who our volunteers would be. Maybe there wasn't one this year... It wasn't unheard of. Like that year Rain ended up in the Arena. She did a really good job for someone so young. I just hoped no one came after me for my own... less than enthusiastic presence at the Academy. I never told people not to volunteer. I wasn't that brave. I just never really told them to volunteer.
