From now on, Kanae-chan, I'll be your nii-san and I will protect you with all I have." They say that babies can tell if a person is truly kind. But when kindness and love are the most dangerous weaknesses a man can possess, what is left to be judged in his favor? No pairings. This story follows Uchiha Shisui as he grows to become a shinobi strong enough to protect the village from within its shadows. It starts from his tenth year of age and tracks his development through his relationships with Itachi, Kagami, his genin team and others. It will also be something like a parallel universe, as there's an additional character that will drastically alter the decisions Shisui makes from the ones in canon. I'm putting a lot of love into this one and because of this it's relatively slow in the making. Updates are not particularly regular, but I'm planning on finishing it. I have a strange obsession with the Uchiha. Some fics I found which deserve MUCH more love: A gen fic with a unique plot and amazing twists that'll keep you on the edge of your seat until the very last chapter. It's well thought-out and has spot-on characterizations that'll make you fall in love with ou favorite ninja all over again. Be prepared for some deaths, though. An ongoing NejiTen fic with a side flavor of SasuTen. Again, the plot is thought out very well. Set in a modern times intelligence agency AU. Requires active thinking of the reader to keep up. Sai-centric gen fic. This one is simply AMAZING. Go read it, now. Even if you didn't like Sai before, you will after this and it will make your heart ache. And then there's RED. I could simply announce the NaruHina and SasuSaku pairing in there and let you loose, but that would be a huge injustice. This is not a mere shipping fic. This is a masterpiece that will leave you a crying, sobbing mess and make you realize a lot of things about your own life. I can't even describe the greatness of this one, I simply have no words.
