Author's Notes

I found this unfinished in my notes from over a year ago and decided to finish and post it. It's primarily made off the idea that I wanted a good romance story that wasn't between Fox and Krystal.

I love Krystal, but I wanted to make something different.

So be warned, it is heavy romance quickly.

It's probably going to be a one-shot, but with the amount of setup I've done, it could be continued if y'all wish it...

LEGEND BELOW

"Playtime is over, Star Fox." = Normal speech.

''Is she serious?'' = Normal thoughts.

Corneria, the fourth planet in the once wondrous Lylat Star System. It was the home of most of the entire Lylat System's population, as well as the center of government and trade in the galaxy. Corneria was also the home of the Cornerian Army, a fleet of star ships and battle cruisers that were main line of defense against any evil that dared to try and threaten the peace that they fought so hard to hold onto.

It was this planet that was usually the first place a war was started, and as such had seen its fare share of damage and casualties. However, the people of Corneria were never ones to let something like that keep them down, and the empire was always quick to rebuild itself.

Leading the Cornerian army was the esteemed General Pepper, an old war hound that had seen a lifetime of battle. He was the one calling the shots most of the time, and was usually never defeated in battle, a testament to the longevity of the planet he defended. However, he was not without his faults. For it was because of his failure to act when he needed to, that an evil uprising had even started. After one of his supposedly esteemed scientists named Andross went crazy and actually betrayed Corneria, instead of ending the threat right then, Pepper instead banished maniac to a planet on the far side of the Lylat System called Venom.

This, Andross, proceeded to then build an army of men for hire and scum alike. It was General Pepper's lack of vigilance in the time of stress that allowed an army to assault the Cornerian capital city and almost defeat the Cornerian Army. His failure had forced his hand, and he had to call in backup to assist in defending the planet.

That backup consisted of a group of hired mercenaries that went under the name of Star Fox, a group of exceptional pilots that were each armed with the extremely advanced prototype star-fighter, the Arwing. These four pilots consisted of their mechanic, a toad by the name of Slippy Toad. An avian ace named Falco Lombardi, second best pilot on the team. An old rabbit by the name of Peppy Hare, who served as the team's mapping expert. And finally was Fox McCloud as the leader, a young red fox whose piloting skills far outpaced any other pilot in the Lylat System. It was this ragtag group of mercenaries that were hired to assist in stopping the war, and stop it they did.

With the superior technology and piloting skills, Team Star Fox tore a path through the wave of Andross's armies, never stopping until they reached the planet that the maniacal scientist hid on. When the team reached the planet, they were assaulted by another group of mercenaries. A team by the name of Star Wolf. This, Star Wolf, was armed with the advanced star-fighter named the Wolfen, a ship almost rivaling the Arwing in power and abilities.

In fact, it had been based on stolen Arwing technology, something that shouldn't have been possible seeing as how Star Fox was supposed to be the only group in existence that had the experimental technology in the first place. The only way that the enemy could obtain that technology, was if someone in the Cornerian army actually gave it over. But, the only one with the power to do such a horrendous act would have to be the General...

Deciding to ignore what may actually just be a misconception, Star-Fox assaulted Star-Wolf in a group battle. However, it seemed that Star-Wolf was more then just a band of scum, but actually longtime mercenaries. In fact, when the members of Star-Wolf began to taunt the opposing team, it was revealed that one of team Star-Wolf's members, Pigma, actually had something to do with the death of the previous team Star-Fox leader, James McCloud, father to Fox McCloud, the current team leader. Angered by the reminder of his father's death at the hands of the backstabbing Pigma, Fox shot the enemy team down, destroying the Wolfen's in the process.

With nothing left standing in his way, Fox moved on ahead alone to face Andross. In the end, Andross underestimated Fox which led to his demise. In a final attempt to get back at him, Andross rigged the entire underground base to explode. Fox barely managed to escape in his damaged Arwing, while all of the maniacal ruler's secret projects and weapon designs went up in the same explosion that almost took Fox's life.

With that, the war was ended. Triumphantly, Team Star-Fox made their way back to Corneria to receive their pay as well as debrief the General. When they finally arrived back on the planet, they were informed of the damage that the Cornerian army had suffered during the war. A lot had been damaged, yet could be saved. But the one thing that was completely lost in the war was the Space Dynamics Development Corporation, the company that invented the Arwing in the first place. That meant that now, Team Star-Fox were the only group in the galaxy with that technology. The blueprints and the schematics to the Arwing were lost in the war as well.

With that bittersweet victory, the team returned to General Pepper. The General, who had originally planned on just paying the team, had suddenly extended an invitation to a high place on the Cornerian Army. Surprised and a little confused, Fox denied the offer, saying that he preferred to work alone. However, the other three members of his group were not in complete agreement.

Slippy had almost died on a mission during the war, and the idea of working alongside many other soldiers instead of alone sounded much better. Peppy had insisted that old age was taking its toll, and that he was planning on retirement after the war. And Falco had already planned on leaving to join up with an old friend he recently got back together with, another fighter pilot by the name of Katt Monroe. Feeling betrayed by the sudden change of heart in his team, Fox left Corneria, taking the Great Fox along with all the Arwings with him.

If they wanted to leave him, who was he to stop them from doing so. But, the Arwings were property of Star-Fox, and he was it's leader. They could spend all that money they got from the General on a ship of their own if they wanted, but he wasn't about to just give away the Arwings.

Peppy had tried to talk sense into him, but Fox was hurt. His father had been betrayed and killed under the orders of the General five years ago, and the murderer had been allowed to roam free. Nothing the General said was going to change Fox's view of that, even if the General had been duped in the first place. Fox viewed it as the General's fault for even trusting the swine at all, seeing as the pig's eyes were set on money and not trust. If that wasn't enough, now his group of friends and trusted pilots decided to just up and leave him. And Peppy, the only connection he still has to his father is retiring, leaving him alone as the sole member of Team Star-Fox. He felt betrayed, by those he thought he could trust, and those he thought he fought for.

Confused and emotionally torn, Fox took to the stars in his suddenly empty flagship, leaving Corneria and his friends behind. His alliances were now unsure, as he felt like he had been betrayed. General Pepper couldn't help but feel as if he had made a horrible mistake. He's now lost the best pilot in the galaxy, as well as lost his chance to obtain the Arwing. What's worse is that said pilot doesn't even trust him or those under him anymore.

Peppy knew most of all that Fox was now totally and utterly alone. Fox had no father nor a mother or any other siblings. The only friends he had were in the Cornerian Army, and even some of them were questionable as to their feelings to him. The General and others alike watched as the Great-Fox left orbit, feeling a strange sense of fear in the pits of their stomachs. They could only hope that they didn't just alienate the owner of the strongest star-fighter in the galaxy.

Soon enough six months had passed since Fox left Corneria, and in that time, no one had seen hide nor hair of the young red fox. It was as if he had vanished off of the face of the Lylat System all together. The Great-fox, Fox's flagship and now technically his home, hadn't been seen since the day he left. It was known that the ship had stealth abilities, but the extent of which was unknown until now. The last bit of information on him was that the Great-fox was last seen heading towards the planet Fortuna, but vanished from radar before it even reached it.

The General had put out an order to report all sightings of the young fox, but he wasn't allowed to do anymore then that. Team Star-Fox was a registered mercenary group and had certain rights, and that prevented him from doing anything more then keep an eye on him. Unless he wanted to give the fox another reason not to trust him, all he could do was sit by and wait for him to show up again. He could only pray that Fox wasn't dumb enough to let that technology fall into the wrong hands, wherever he may be...

A terrible storm was brewing on the rough and polluted planet named Zoness. This planet was once home to a beautiful resort, and one of the most popular planets next to Corneria. However, during the war, Andross had taken control of the planet and used it as a supply depo, as well as an oil refinery. As such, in the span of five short years, the once beautiful planet was turned into a toxic waste dump. It was only due to Team Star-Fox's interference that Andross's hold on the planet was lost.

In the months that followed the downfall of the maniacal scientist's empire, the people of Zoness took it upon themselves to try and attempt to reform their horribly damaged world into something better. But as the coming months would prove, restoring something like that wasn't going to be easy. The oil refineries were refitted into water cleansing plants, while the many people that suffered under Andross's rule now filled a city. The place wasn't much to look at, and ended up an attraction for all sorts of shady types. It also served as a perfect getaway place for anyone trying to hide.

And so it was here, in a dark and shady but surprisingly well respected bar, in the grimy city on Zoness that we find a lonely fox cradling a cup of something at the counter. No one at the bar seemed to pay attention to him, leaving him by his lonesome. Days would come and go, and the young red fox would randomly be seen sitting at the bar, tail occasionally twitching back and forth as he silently listened in on nearby conversations.

This bar, interestingly named the Zoness getaway, was where bounty hunters and mercenaries alike seemed to roam. One of the reasons that Zoness was more favored over any other nearby settlement, was due to that fact that barely only a week after the end of the war, the people of Zoness had repaired and reopened their space dock. It was the first place that anyone owning a space faring ship could easily land at, considering the fact that the only other space dock currently open was Corneria, and fat chance you'd find anyone here over there.

Most single pilot fighters and ships weren't made to land on the ground, and had to be docked. Sadly, the Arwing suffered from the same flaw in design. That was the main reason Fox chose Zoness to hide at. And the other reason.

This was the place he went to after a successful mission to relax, or at least be alone. After he left Corneria six months ago, he had taken to tracking down the rest of Andross's army and finishing them off. He hadn't run into Star-Wolf since the war, and he wasn't sure how to treat them. They were mercenaries just like him, only hired to fight on Andross's side instead of Corneria's. But now they weren't working for anyone, as far as he knew.

Surprisingly, a lot of Andross's army was left over after they lost the war. And even more surprisingly, a lot of them still had their loyalties placed with the dead Emperor of Venom. What was worrying, was that Fox had only run into remnants so far, not the entire army. Where the army was hiding, he had no idea. But that's why he was here, in this rundown bar on Zoness; Because he was going to find out, one way or another.

"Need a drink?" Fox was pulled from his thoughts by the voice of the bar tender, an old war cat. Fox tore his eyes away from the pda on his arm, and turned to the cat.

"Oh, no thanks... I don't drink..." He responded somewhat lost in thought, an almost depressed glint in his eyes. The bar tender gave him a look that suggested he thought he should, but didn't comment further.

"How bout water?" He suggested helpfully, already turning to grab a glass.

"Yeah, that sounds nice..." Fox responded, already focused on his pda again. The old cat poured him a tall glass, before setting it in front of him.

"Say.. Have I seen you before?" He asked, staring at Fox.

"Er, probably not..." Fox responded, trying not to drag much attention to himself. The old cat hummed to himself in thought, trying to place that face.

"No no, I've definitely seen yer' face before..." He muttered, scratching his chin. Then he suddenly snapped his fingers. "Ah, yer' that star fox feller', huh?" He exclaimed, a little too loudly for Fox's tastes.

"Yeah, I guess you could say that." Fox responded with a short laugh. The exclamation had the unfortunate affect of drawing a few of the other patrons attention, whether that was good or bad was yet to be seen. But he didn't want to draw any attention.

"Hey you! Foxy boy!" Well, there went that plan. Fox set his glass down on the counter, turning to the group of people that set their sights on him. There was a couple of them, gang members it seemed. Two dogs, rough looking guys that had definitely seen battle, and a bunny that wasn't afraid to strut her stuff, and an older bird. Though who they were affiliated with remained to be seen. He hadn't seen them before, that was for sure.

"Ohh boy…" He muttered to himself, before clearing his throat. "Yes?" Fox asked with a tired sigh, already preparing to leave if things got ugly. He really wasn't a hand to hand fighter. However, they hadn't pulled out any weapons yet, so he took his hand off of his hidden blaster he was preparing to use.

"You Fox, Fox McCloud?" One of them asked with a heavy accent. Fox kept his expression normal, still unsure of them.

"The only Star Fox there is... yes..." He responded a little sarcastically. To his surprise, they raised their hands to show that they meant no harm.

"Now now, we ain't here to hurt nobody." Another said, before taking a seat next to Fox. "We rememba' you... That day, six months ago. Andross had us all runnin' his darn oil rigs and his tankers. Next thing we know, some little fox ina' ship comes flyin' in. You messed up his commander, n' had his army runnin' with their tails between their legs!" He let out a boisterous laugh, patting Fox on the back. "If it weren't for yah, we'd all still be runnin' his rigs!"

"Tsk... I was just doing my job." Fox said with a huff, trying and failing to brush off the compliment as a tint of red lit his cheeks. All he got for his efforts was a bound of laughs from the whole gang, his cheeks turning red with embarrassment.

"Just doing yer' job? Hun, don't kid yerself'." The bunny said with a sly grin. "Word on da' streets is that you already had a beef with Andross. I bet getting payed was just a cherry on top of the cake!" A blush lit up his face at being called out so easily, his ears folding back nervously. Reaching up to grab her long ears, the bunny woman gave him a grin. "These ears hear everything, you know."

"Aye Sheila, yer' makin him blush." The older dog said with a laugh, wrapping an arm around the woman.

"A-Alright, alright… what can I do for you?" Fox conceded, giving them his full attention. Now that he knew that they weren't hostile, he didn't have to keep his guard up so tightly. That tough lone fox act fell apart rather quickly, leaving behind a young and kind of nervous fox.

"We've been lookin' all over for yeh' foxy. Our boss's been wantin' ta' speak with yeh'." The old dog explained. "After you saved her during da' war, she's been tryin' to find yeh. She won't tell us why, though... Sneaky cat, keeping tings' to herself.."

"Boss? Who's your boss?" Fox couldn't help but ask, interested. The bunny grinned, before wrapping an arm around Fox's neck and pulling him in, getting a little too close for the fox's comfort.

"A sneaky little kitten by the name of Katt Monroe, 'm sure you know of her." She explained, pulling Fox in close. Before she had the chance to get in closer, she was suddenly pulled away by the bigger dog.

"Now Sheila, what ave' I said bout' getting too comfortable them younger ones?" The dog reprimanded, getting an annoyed huff from the bunny.

"Tch, I was only messin' with 'em..." Sheila relented with huff. Trying to ignore the redness in his cheeks, Fox spoke up.

"K-Katt? What does she want with me?" He asked with an annoyed frown, upset at the reminder as to one of the reasons his team was down to one.

"Lady Katt wanted ta' thank yeh personally, and hold true to a promise she made yeh'." The old dog informed. Fox's face scrunched up in thought, trying to recall what it was that Katt had promised h-. His face suddenly lit up red and his eyes widened when the memories came rushing back. Apparently his face was easily readable, because Sheila suddenly grinned.

"O-Oh really?" Fox coughed, trying to recover his composure. "Doesn't she have Falco? What does she want with me?" Fox questioned, trying and failing to skip over the thought of her promise. Shiela laughed.

"That blue bird? He's gone." Sheila said with a grin. At Fox's confused expression, the dog found it prudent to explain.

"Well... After she heard dat' yer wing-mate left you for er' she got angry and kicked him out of da' gang. She told him to never show his face again. He got angry and said sometin' he probably shouldn't ave', didn't go well for him."

''Sounds like Falco alright...'' Fox thought with an exasperated look.

"Well, I know you're a busy fox. So we'll take our leave den'." The older dog said. "But before I go, I've been told to give you dis'." He pulled out a small data chip, before throwing it to Fox. "An' one more ting'. If you want to stop by, we're hidin' out on Macbeth..." With his piece said, he alongside the other three made their leave. Fox watched them leave, a strange sensation building in the pit of his stomach.

He looked down to the data chip resting on his paw, before inserting it into the pda system attached to his wrist. Suddenly an image popped of Katt, the pink furred cat blowing a kiss at him. ''I cant help but feel that she doesn't greet everyone else this way...'' Fox pondered in his head. Then after a moment, the image vanished before being replaced with a message.

"Dear Foxy. I've been waiting for the moment I can finally meet you again in person. I've been meaning to repay your heroic deeds on Zoness when you saved me, but it's been so very hard to track you down...

You can't hide from me forever, you know. Now, be a darling and come visit, I'm sure you know of my current whereabouts? One of my people must have told you...

It's been so very annoying with all the remnants of Andross's army poking about, and I've had enough of it. I've decided to do something about it, seeing as the Cornerian Army isn't. It'd be awfully hard to do this all by my self, but I was hoping that someone heroic and strong like you wouldn't let a girl down, would you?" The message ended with a kiss being blown at him. Fox sat there silently, absorbing all that information.

"Katt, huh..." He muttered to himself quietly, eyes wide and red cheeked. It seemed that if he wanted Andross gone for good then he was going to have to do it himself, he knew that already. But now it seemed he had someone else that had the same objective as him. But he wasn't really looking to start anything romantically, although he never suspected that it probably wasn't up to him... "S-She's probably just playing around..." He told himself, though the redness around his cheeks suggested otherwise. "Right...?"

He was lying to himself when asked if he felt alone in the solar system, and his answer was no. But in his heart he felt alone, being left bent everyone else. He'd not really been romantically involved before, too busy with getting revenge for his father.

But now? Someone wanted that kind of relationship with him? He almost didn't know what to say. Especially to the playful kitten of Macbeth...

"Yes..." That's what his heart said...

Fox let out a sigh, confused but relieved that he might actually find help after the war, and though he may deny it, a little eager to meet her. The Arwing was no pushover, that was for sure, and could decimate enemies under the proper pilot, but it couldn't single handedly fight a war. That wasn't going to stop him from trying however.

Thunder roared outside of the building, the pitter patter of rain droplets echoing off the roof of the bar. He'd have to leave now if he wanted to make it back to the Great-Fox not soaked to the bone. With a determined look in his eyes he made to leave, after paying his tab of course.

The space dock he left his Arwing in was close nearby, and he was quick to leave. He had parked it on the far side that was hidden away in the darkness, perfect for being left out of sight. The space dock was still relatively unpopulated, so he was left undisturbed in his way back. A minute later and the city was treated to the sound of the Arwing breaking the sound barrier as it blasted off to orbit at high speeds. But in the darkness of night, it was nigh invisible...

A stale wind blew across the grainy deserts of Macbeth, the gray colored sands vanishing into the background. Destroyed and dilapidated buildings lined the horizon, all abandoned or brought to ruin by the war.

Before Andross's army took hold of the planet, it was a mining colony. Now, after Andross had lost, his hold on the planet was lost as well. Most of the civilians that survived struggled to go back to their old ways, but as Corneria would prove, it wasn't impossible.

Stability finally returned when a large freelance mercenary group decided that Macbeth was the perfect planet for their hideout. They didn't force the miners off, nor put them into slavery like Andross had. Instead they came to an agreement, and made a pact with each other that offered mutual benefits all around.

The miners offered up a portion of their goods, in trade for protection against outside forces. Using these goods, the mercenary group were able to supply themselves with a good trade between other planets. It was a rough start, but they were willing to fight for it.

Of course, they didn't have much of a name behind them, seeing as they were group that wasn't well known.

However, a certain little kitten was hoping that they'd see a boom in business if she was able to get her cute little fox on board with her plan. She was sure he wouldn't refuse her offer, for one reason…

Or another. She was sure that he was alone and hurting, especially after his entire team and people left him behind. She couldn't stand the sight of Falco after hearing about what he did to the teen.

But forgetting about the fools for the time being, she decided that if he so desired, she'd be the one to fill that hole in his heart, the hole made by all those that left him behind. She knew that he had to have been keeping up an act this whole time. She refused to believe that he was completely fine with this turn of events.

The pink furred cat licked her lips at the prospect, and had been eagerly awaiting the young fox's arrival. Some on the base called her a cougar, and maybe they were right. So what if she was older then him, she didn't care, and she doubted that he would either.

He saved her life time and time again during the war and never even asked for anything in return, and came up her aid when she called for him. Unlike the greedy bird of an ex team member, Fox was something else to her. And she'd gladly have him if he desired her. Together they'd take down Andross's armies once and for all…

Of course, that wouldn't happen if the young fox never showed. Sure it had only been a day since she was informed that he'd gotten her message, but she had no way of knowing what became of him or what he planned to do.

So she was left waiting, spending her free time tinkering with her star fighter. If she was going to fight a war, she needed a ship that was in top condition. Out front of her main base of operations was a fairly open landing pad, where her pink fighter was docked, alongside a few other of her crew members ships.

"Hwah…" The adult pink cat breathed hotly, wiping away the sweat from her brow. It was a scorching hot day on Macbeth, and as a result she'd stripped down to nothing more then a yellow crop top and short blue shorts.

"I think that's enough for now…" She exclaimed to herself, setting the tools she had in her paws down. Her paws were covered in black, a result from dealing with her engine. "I think I'll just kick back for the rest of the day…"

The base was fairly abandoned as of that moment, with most of her crew out on jobs and assisting with the miners. She wasn't afraid to really kick back when she was alone, and the dirty yellow top was quickly ditched in favor of relaxing with little on in a nice shady spot behind her ship.

"I can't believe them… leaving little old me behind as they all go and have fun…" She muttered playfully, popping open a cooler she had resting nearby. She eagerly took out a name brand beer, not hesitating to crack it open and take a sip. "I guess I'll just have to enjoy myself while I'm alone…" She grinned. The cold drink felt heavenly in this heat, and made living out here bearable.

She popped on some black shades, and rest herself against the side of her ship, closing her eyes for a moment.

"Warning! Warning! Hostiles have been detected approaching Macbeth!" Katt spit out her drink, shooting up from her position at the sound of the base's threat sensors going off. The drink lay forgotten as she ran to the closest terminal she had, accessing the security systems.

"No… no no no!" She hissed, eyes wide. Her quick view of the information revealed horrifying info. "Please tell me yer' lyin'!" She begged, accent slipping in.

"Three enemy frigates on approach. Multiple enemy fighters spotted approaching planet. Affiliation Andross Army." The system spat out, bringing up a rough map of the planet. The enemy would be upon her in minutes!

"Damn! Curse them!" She snapped, rushing to her fighter. Cation was thrown to the wind as she rapidly removed the repair systems attached to her ship, wasting little time before attempting to fire it up.

Throwing on her coms, she called out to her people. "Attention Hot-Rodders! I need everyone back to the base now! This is not a drill! We're about to be under attack!" Her shout echoed across all local communication systems, setting a fire under anyone listening.

But what was it going to do? There was no time to prepare, and barely enough for a few of her people to launch their fighters. This battle was going to go horribly, and she knew it.

That and…

"Come on baby! Work with mama!" The ship refused to power on, something within the gravity engine failing. When it finally powered on, flight systems were down, rendering her vehicle as nothing more then a glorified hovercraft. "Nyah! It'll have to do!"

Her fighter, dubbed the Cat's Paw, launched from its dock, her weapon systems powering on. Her closest reinforcements were more then fifteen minutes out, and the chances that she survived until then were slim, practically nonexistent.

But with the base's defense turrets online, there might just be a chance!

At this point the enemy had arrived, and any thought of communication prior to a fight was thrown out the window as heavy blaster fire reined down upon her from above.

"Attention Macbeth residents! This planet is now again under the control of Andross's armies! Bow before your new leader!" A voice echoed across all local systems, leaving no room for questioning just who it was from. Immediately after the declaration, multiple groups of fighters launched from the enemy frigates, charging Katt's position.

Despite being grounded, Katt put up a great fight. At least ten enemy fighters were shot down, but in the end it didn't matter.

She let out a scream as she was shot down, her fighter crashing into the sandy desert below. She was forced to watch in horror as the enemy surrounded her position, readying to finish her off once and for all.

And yet…

She watched in stunned awe from her cockpit window as something broke the sound barrier from somewhere behind the enemy frigates. Moments before she was vaporized, the foes that surrounded her were obliterated by very distinct blue colored hyper lasers.

"It couldn't be…" She muttered over open coms. Her suspicions were proved true, as the sight of the legendary Arwing launched past her, shooting down any and all opposition. "Fox! Darling, you showed!" The cat cried out, relief flooding her body.

Her still working terminal lit up with an open camera feed from the Arwing, showing the grinning face of her cute little fox. "Sorry I'm late! Looks like you started the party without me!" He laughed, tearing his way through the enemy opposition. Groups of tens of enemy fighters were decimated within moments, pushing the frigates back.

"Foxy boy! My ship is down! Come pick me up darling!" Katt called out, waving at him from her spot on the ground. He spun the Arwing around speeding towards her position before anyone else had the chance to shoot her.

Due to the lack of landing gear however, he couldn't stop to pick her up. So he'd have to improvise.

"I'll swing around! Get ready to hop in!" He explained. He banked the Arwing as close to the ground as he could, cutting the engine to the point where it was just fast enough to stay in the air. The cockpit opened, and he reached out to her as he approached.

"Catch me!" She cooed, running to meet him halfway. She jumped, grasping his paw with her own. With a grunt he pulled her in, quickly shutting the cockpit a second later.

There was barely enough space in the fighter for the both of them, and as such Katt was pressed tightly into his chest. Not that she was complaining though.

"S-Sorry if it's a tight fit, the Arwing wasn't designed for two people…" He apologized, cheeks turned lightly red, struggling to keep his eyes forward and not look down. She grinned up at him, purring loudly to herself.

"Oh trust me darling, I definitely don't mind." She breathed out. Fox cleared his throat nervously, trying to turn his focus back on the enemy.

He spun the Arwing about, facing the three enemy frigates. "H-Hold on Katt, it's going to get a little rough here!" He warned. He felt like he was imagining it, but he swore she pressed herself against him even harder.

"Rough is fine with me, darling…" She purred. He shook his head, trying to focus on not getting shot down. Although the older mature bodied cat pressed against him seemed to have an different thought in mind.

"Curse you Star Fox! I'll show you what happens to those that go mess with Andross! Prepare to die!" A nasally voice shouted over the coms. Fox couldn't help but question the enemy's thought process here. If they thought that size and numbers mattered when it came to fighting him in a battle, then they had already lost.

"Tsk, everyone in Andross's army is unbearable to listen to…" He muttered, throwing the Arwing into full thrust, launching at them faster then their weapons could track. He banked left and right, narrowly dodging all their attacks as he approached the frigates rears. The plating on the ships were unable to stop his twin hyper lasers, and the first frigate went down in a pillar of fire.

Fox wasted no time before chasing after the second and third frigate, and the enemy suddenly realized that they were horribly outmatched.

Their opponent was more akin to an angry demigod who they had provoked into action. And there was little chance they would escape his wrath now.

The two remaining frigates threw it into full throttle, attempting to surround the fox and protect the other's weaknesses. Yet their skills were pathetic when compared to the prodigy that was the young Fox McCloud, even when he had a soft and bouncy pink furred distraction struggling for his attention.

Fox was easily able to get around their defenses and shot the second and third enemy frigate down to the ground. Fox circled the smoldering piles on the surface of the planet for a couple moments, just to make sure no one survived. Seeing that their opponents were totally and utterly defeated, Katt turned her entire attention fully on the young stud in front of her.

"My my, that was quite the display Foxy boy! I just might have to reward you for that…" She leaned up close to him, breathing hotly. "Oh, that reminds me…" She whispered loudly.

"Wha-? Mphm!?" Fox was cut off as Katt stole his breath away with a soul searing kiss that lasted a whole twenty seconds. The young fox felt like his eyes were going to roll into the back of his head, his eyelids fluttering in shock. She finally pulled away, a trail connecting the two's lips.

The cat licked her lips, grinning at him. "That was for saving me back on Zoness." She purred, her purple eyes partially closed, revealing her lavender eyeshadow. Fox's mouth opened and closed multiple times in silent shock, unable to make a coherent sentence.

"Hwwaha-…?" He squeaked in confusion, brain seizing. "W-Wait… W-What abo-"

"And this-" She grasped his vest, pulling him into another long mind melting kiss that left him at a loss for words. "-was for protecting me at sector Z…" She licked her lips, fluttering her beautiful eyes at him.

"K-K-.. Ka..? Hold on-" Fox breathed, struggling to catch his breath.

"And this one…" She whispered, leaning in so close that their lips were not even an inch apart. "Is for saving me just now…" Fox had little to no resistance to the older cat as she pressed herself into him, exploring his mouth with her tongue. And this kiss was apparently the one she was looking forward to the most, because she got really grabby, her pink claws roaming his body, sending shivers down his spine.

A minute later she pulled away, leaving him star struck and gasping for air. His heart was hammering wildly in his chest, his large tail thumping happily in his seat. He was trying to gather his thoughts, but his brain was failing him at the moment…

"I enjoyed that, Foxy boy. I hope you did too." She purred, running her claws gently through his furry head. She ran a paw through her tuft of white fur atop her head, taking in a deep breath.

"Now then, I'm sure you're here because you got my message. Which reason is it..? Because you wish to team up with me to defeat Andross's armies once and for all…?" She questioned with a tilt of her head, before her eyes gained a mischievous glint. "Or.. perhaps… you've grown lonely and are looking for someone…?" The question was posed alongside a pink claw slowly trailing down his chest, the cat biting her lips as she stared him dead in the eyes.

Fox cleared his throat, attempting to regain his voice. "R-Right… A-About that…" His voice was cracking like a prepubescent pup, causing the pink cat's grin to widen. He cleared his throat again. "I've never... been t-together with anyone before..." He muttered quietly, nervously staring her in the eyes.

She hummed in joy, eyes shining. "Don't worry darling, I'll take the lead..." She purred, smiling genuinely. She leaned in again, lips brushing against his own. He sucked in a breath, tail thumping in his seat.

"Uhh… W-Well I…" Fox started.

"… -in! ..-opy?! Katt! Pick up damnit!" A voice shouting over the local coms broke up the impromptu make out session, both pilot's attention drawn to the terminal the pink cat was sitting on. The leader of the Hot-Rodder's easily identified the voice as one of her best pilots.

Katt sighed, her mood totally killed by the sudden intrusion. "What do you want? I'm kinda busy here!" She snapped, glaring at the camera between her thighs.

"Oh thank god, you're not dead!" The voice responded.

She felt her eyes twitch. "What made you think I died?"

"Because the Cat's Paw is crashed on the ground and you've been flying in circles for the last five minutes straight…"

The cat's face gained a red hue as she glanced out the Arwing's cockpit, which is when she noticed all the friendly fighters surrounding them. Her eyebrow twitched. "How long have you been watching us…?" She questioned lowly.

A familiar voice suddenly burst their way into the conversation. "Long enough that we know you like em' young, Hun. You've got poor foxy boy blushin' like a newborn pup! He could power the base with how hard his tail's thumpin'!" Shiela teased, taking any chance she could to play with her leader.

"We'll leave y'all be. You must be tryin' ta' work yer' way into his pants for one reason or another…" The busty bunny stated, leaving the conversation before Katt had a chance to say anything in return…

"Whuh!?" Fox's squeak was the last thing heard before the coms went off…
