(Disclaimer: I do not own Transformers; just Filly and my other OC's that I've blended into the story.)

(Authors Note: Hello dearest readers, fellow writers, and Transformers fans of every shape, size, color, gender, and nation! First of all, I am so sorry for not posting new content sooner, but I've been rather distracted with my new niece and my movieverse Transformers FF lately, but mostly my new niece: she's SOOO freakin' cute! I've meant to upload this new chapter for a while, but life got in the way and I was unable to do so until now. Now, I can't guarantee if future updates will be slow or not, but please note that I haven't abandoned this story. Oh no! I adore Filly too much to just toss her aside like last weeks dirty laundry. No, the story shall continue! Also, since it's the holiday season, you might want to check out the little Christmas special I wrote last year: 'A Very Filly Christmas'. It's listed under Family/Poetry for those of you who might be curious to read it :) I'm not one to really write holiday themed stories, but I was feeling rather cheery when I wrote that particular piece. Anyways, if I don't update before 2022, have a Happy Holidays and a safe New Year!)

Chapter 24

-Five Earth Days Later-

Bluestreak opened his optics and jolted upright with panic lining his face, to which a familiar voice spoke up beside him:

"Easy there Blue," Ratchet calmly stated. "You're safe now."

"Filly! Where's Filly?! What happened to her?!"

"I'm here Blue," the little femmling replied with a tearful smile at seeing her friend awake and well.

Upon glancing over at the youngling, Bluestreak immediately dismounted from the medical berth and approached her, to which he knelt down and hugged her while emitting a sob of relief, "...Oh Primus, you're okay. I'm so glad. So, so glad.."

Filly nuzzled into his warm embrace as she felt his frame shake, "I was afraid you'd never wake up again."

"What do you mean by that?" He suddenly noticed a lack of weight on his back, to which he tried moving his doorwings only to discover that he couldn't feel them attached to his frame. "What happened to my doorwings?!"

"Easy Blue," Ratchet intervened and placed a servo on his shoulder, "Your wings were ripped off your frame during your fight with the Decepticons. I nullified your sensors when you were brought in so you wouldn't feel pain while my fellow medics and I worked on patching you up; however, now that you're awake, I'll have to reactivate your pain sensors in order to reattach your wings."

A solemn nod was his response as he was unable to process his shock into words: he had never been without his doorwings before and to a Praxion or Seeker, losing one's wings was like losing a piece of their identity.

Seeing him distraught over the temporary loss of his doorwings, Filly placed her tiny servo atop his and gave him a reassuring look, "It'll be okay Bluestreak. Ratchet will reattach your wings soon and everything will be alright once more."

With a smile, the young Praxion gently rubbed the top of her helm, "You're right Filly: everything will be just fine. Thank you for your support. I'm just so glad that you're okay and no longer in harm's way. If those Cons had captured you, I don't know what I'd do."

"About that…they actually did capture me, but don't worry, Angel infiltrated their base and rescued me. Also, Soundwave and his minicons helped me."

"Wait, wait, wait! Soundwave helped you?! Why? How? He's Megatron's most trusted follower and one of the most dangerous mechs to come out of Cybertron.."

"Actually, he's really not how the Autobots portray him. He only follows Megatron's orders out of fear for his minicons."

"Oh, I see! It all makes sense now: he's worried they'll come to harm if he doesn't comply with Megatron's orders. Interesting! I had always wondered if there was a reason for his unquestionable loyalty to him, and now I see that there is. So what did he do to help you? Was he part of your escape?"

"In a way. Ravage was the one who led Angel to my location, and Soundwave was able to falsify a maintenance issue in order for her to rescue me. Apparently he knows how to cover his tracks, so it's likely that Megatron has no idea that he or his cassettes helped me escape. Of course, I don't remember any of it because I was still recovering from having my winglets reattached.."

"Your wings were removed?! By whom," his optics narrowed and flashed red while his voice was laced with a growl (which was unheard of).

At his tone, Filly flinched for she had never seen him so angry; however, she emitted a sigh and gently rubbed his forearm, "Starscream ripped my winglets off, but Soundwave assured me that he was punished for doing so."

"Good, cause if I had him here right now I'd put a hole in his helm."

"Bluestreak...please don't say stuff like that. It's not like you," she pleaded, which caused him to look at her with guilt lining his face.

"Oh Filly, I'm so, so sorry for upsetting you. I just...you mean so much to me and to all of the Autobots in general. For you to fall under any sort of harm is cause for concern and caution. I just want to keep you safe, but I wasn't able to and as a result you were captured and subjected to bodily harm at the servos of our enemies."

At his words, Filly gave him a soft smile and patted his arm, "You mean a lot to me too Bluestreak. You're one of my best friends and I don't want to see you hurt again." She then hugged him and rested her helm against his chassis, "I don't want to talk about Starscream or my capture anymore…I just want to stay here and listen to you talk of other things. Is that okay?"

He fondly rubbed the top of her helm, "That's perfectly fine with me. I'd be happy to talk to you for as long as you'd like. Of course, you're welcome to talk too, for I never tire of hearing what you have to say whether it's about the various landscapes or weather patterns of Earth, or something completely random like why humans cook bacon and bake cookies."

That statement caused her to emit a small laugh which brought a smile to the young Praxion's face. He felt a sense of ease settle over his frame knowing Filly was safe and out of harm's way; although, he still had his reasons for being cautious and protective, for if she was captured once, the likelihood of her being taken by the Decepticons again was probable. With her existence now known to the enemy, it was only a matter of time before her safety would become jeopardized again.

-Later-

Filly was currently sitting beside Bluestreak's berth as Ratchet carefully reattached his doorwings. Having recently experienced the same painful procedure, she stayed by his side for emotional support and even had him hold her servo for comfort. For his part, the young Praxion was grateful to her because she kept his mind distracted from the pain he was currently experiencing.

At the moment, she was reading him a human story from one of her tablets as a means to pass the time and entertain everyone within the vicinity:

"..And as there was no one left in the house, Cinderella went to her mother's grave, under the hazel bush, and cried,

"Little tree, little tree, shake over me,

That silver and gold may come down and cover me."

Then the bird threw down a dress of gold and silver, and a pair of slippers embroidered with silk and silver. And in all haste she put on the dress and went to the festival. But her step-mother and sisters did not know her, and thought she must be a foreign Princess, she looked so beautiful in her golden dress.."
