Miss Umbridge was walking the halls, catching the occasional student who was out of bed and docking points as she saw fit.

Turning a corner, she saw Harry sitting on the window sill, looking out towards the quidditch fields.

"Mr Potter. What are you doing late at night?" Umbridge asked.

"Enjoying the view, Professor." Harry retorted.

"And what's that behind your back?" Umbridge asked. The meowing of a cat got her attention, and she watched as a tabby cat appeared into view, walking from behind Harry's legs.

Umbridge squealed as she knelt down to pick up the cat. The cat loudly hissed and clawed at Umbridge as hard as it could, clawing at the skin.

"You've got a terrible pet, Mr Potter! 10 points from Gryffindor!" Umbridge declared as she walked back to her room.

"So what else is new?" Harry muttered as he picked up the cat. The cat playfully licked Harry's cheek and comfortably meowed as Harry stroked the animal, lulling it into a calm sleep.

Dumbledore looked at Minerva, with amusement and exasperation in his eyes.

"Minerva, why did you strike Umbridge?" he asked.

"She tried to touch me. You know i'm sensitive to being touched while i'm in my cat form. I hate her." Minerva said, hissing the last few words.

Leaving the headmaster's office, Minerva ran into Harry as he was heading to his next class.

"By the way, Harry. 20 points to Gryffindor for helping me with Umbridge." she said.

"But i didn't…" Harry started when Minerva put a finger to his lips, motioning for him to be quiet.

"Just our little secret." Minerva smiled.
