After the meeting, Jaune and Summer wanted to spend time with their entire family, including the Arc family and the Rose/Xiao Long Family and Qrow. Although Summer and Amarilla wished to head out and plan the wedding, they thought, 'Why not involve the entire female members of the family in the wedding's planning?' So, they did. And because of this, the men of the groups also got caught in the planning. The only one that didn't mind it was Jaune. He may not have been around his sisters in a long time, but he was used to their antics a long time ago.
"Ugh! Do we have to be here?" Qrow asked.
"That's right! You already have enough people to help you with the wedding. Besides, these kinds of things are better done by women since they have a better understanding of it. We guys suck at these kinds of things," Tai said.
"Come on. Don't be a baby. We're having a wonderful family bonding. See, Yang and Ruby are having fun. Yang is even teasing Jaune about being a father to Ruby," Summer said while showing them Jaune freaking out about being called a dad by a fifteen-year-old.
"That's quite funny," Qrow said while he drank from his flask.
The rest of the day, the family was going to different places in Vale. But one thing in common about these places was that they involved weddings. They were looking for a bridal style that suits Summer. Usually, the first thing to do when planning a wedding is set a budget, but for Jaune and Summer, that isn't necessary since they have ways to get money quite easily. And let me tell you, the wedding dress that Summer picked was…Wow. Unfortunately, Jaune wasn't allowed to see it, which he found unfair since Summer could see what his Tuxedo looked like.
The next thing they did was look for a venue for the wedding to take place. Summer told Amarilla that she didn't want to have a big wedding. She only wanted to have close family and friends. Amarilla agreed with her decision, and they looked for a place that would be perfect, but none of the places they went to was good enough for Amarilla and Summer. Heck, even the Arc sibling, Ruby and Yang, didn't like any of the venues that they went to.
After that, the group went on to the next thing that they can do. And that was looking for a suitable theme for the wedding. This one didn't take too long as Summer already had a theme in mind. She then told Amarilla what it was, and they both made slight changes to it since they had to accommodate the theme for Jaune. Fortunately, the changes weren't that big as Jaune wasn't that picky. Although they were able to get that done, they decided to look into it more later.
After the outing, the group headed home with the Arc family heading to Domrémy and the Rose/ Xiao Long Family back to Patch. The Arc sisters got to know Yang and Ruby. They bonded quite quickly since Ruby and Yang were already good friends with Jeanne, which was good enough to give them brownie points with the Arc siblings. Summer and Amarilla bonded even further. Jaune loved it, but he also hated it. Summer would tell embarrassing stories of things that happened on Earth, and Amarilla would tell embarrassing stories of Jaune during his childhood. As for Qrow, Tai and Giallo, well, they were like deflated balloons at the end of the day.
As for Jaune and Summer, they weren't staying with the Arcs or the Rose/Xiao Long Family. No, Summer and Jaune wanted some alone time. So, they got a hotel room in Vale. Let's say that night wasn't quiet.
The following day, Jaune and Summer had a lovely breakfast. The food they are eating isn't conjured like Jaune usually does for other people, but when it comes to Summer, he would always cook her a lovely breakfast personally. Summer doesn't eat the usual breakfast that people eat. No, Summer loves to eat cookies for breakfast. Obviously, this wasn't a healthy breakfast. Therefore, Jaune created a healthy recipe. He created Raspberry, Almond and Oat breakfast cookies, along with some yoghurt and fruit. It is easy to make, delicious and nutritious.
"So, Jaune. Do you have any plans for today?" Summer asked.
"I don't. I thought we could enjoy the day together, just the two of us," Jaune said.
"Oh! How about we go on a date?! Our first date here on Remnant!" Summer said.
"That's a great idea! How about we head out in two hours? It's still quite early," Jaune said.
"That's true. How about we take a shower together to pass some time?" Summer said to Jaune with a wink.
"You know, you've been having wonderful ideas this morning," Jaune said.
The two then headed to the bathroom to take a shower. But they didn't leave until an hour and a half later. It goes to show that Jaune and Summer enjoyed their 'shower'. When they got out, Summer had a slight limp on her. This would have healed quickly a long time ago, but when Summer was brought back to life, she no longer had her Aura. She tried different ways to re-activate it but to no avail. That's the reason that she decided to learn the Mystic Arts from the Ancient One.
"That is one of the best showers I've ever had," Jaune said.
"Me too," Summer said.
"So, what do you want to do for our date today? Go shopping? Have a walk around Vale? Or maybe we can go and watch a movie?" Jaune asked.
"How about all the above? I mean, when I was at Beacon, I didn't experience such things since I was concentrating on being the best Huntress that I could be. I didn't have time to have fun. And now, I can finally experience all those things," Summer said.
"Wait. You mean that you didn't have time off during the weekend?" Jaune asked.
"Well, we did. I just used it to train more. Plus, I had Raven to train with, so it's not that bad," Summer said.
"Wow. You truly are one hell of a woman, Summer," Jaune said.
"Thanks," Summer said.
With that, Summer and Jaune headed out for the day. They went to many places. But the moment Summer saw a weapons department in the mall that they went to, to watch a movie, she went crazy. She started geeking out on every weapon she saw. And since Jaune was better than her at Mystic Arts, she would ask him if it was possible to re-create the weapons in the shop using Extra-Dimensional Energy, and Jaune told her that it was possible, but she would have to do it with some of the knowledge of Asgardian Magic. Now, Summer was excited as she knew that Jaune knew Asgardian Magic since he helped Thor a while back, and as a reward and thanks, Jaune was able to learn from Frigga. One of the most intelligent women in all of Asgard.
