Her World
Annabeth Chase's world was full of magic and wonder that Peter couldn't wrap his head around sometimes. The girl cuddling up next to him was a child born from a goddess that absolutely hated him. She had one of the cleverest minds up there with Reed Richards and Tony Stark. She fought hydra's, titans, the Earth itself and all since she was a kid younger than Peter was when he got bit by a radioactive spider at 15.
Annabeth was locked in on blueprints for renovating Camp Half Blood and Camp Jupiter coordinating with others from the two camps for the last two weeks over meetings and IRIS messaging it was a lot but the girl was a trooper. Trying to renovate two camps after a coordinated attack by monsters was never easy. Especially when all the details weren't known on who or why they attacked.
He couldn't pretend to understand magic and mythology. Peter was a scientist, an inventor, a person of logic. Sure, he'd met Thor, Dr. Strange and fought demons and all kinds of aliens. This was different there was a real afterlife, real gods and goddesses who used his girlfriend and her friends as players in a chess game. Her own mother Athena would try to manipulate her
Annabeth let out a yawn and closed the blueprints from her laptop. "I think that's enough rewrites for tonight." She smiled up at him her grey eyes shimmering she tilted her head and kissed Peter's cheek. "I have a flying ship to catch."

The Argo II always reminded Peter of a helacarrier just more ancient looking and with sails. Who knows what the people of New York saw with the mist swirling around to force what those who weren't demigods or mortals who had the sight like Peter.
He hated days like today, quest or summons to either camp would mean days, weeks or even months between IRIS messaging. Annabeth could be dead across the world and he wouldn't even know it. Now he knew how Annabeth felt went he'd go out on an Avengers level threat or a super villain showed their head, or even nights out on patrol.
Annabeth slung her bag over her shoulder and kissed Peter gently resting her forehead against his. No words needed to be spoken in this moment, the two had been together long enough to read each other's thoughts and feelings. They'd promised each other they would always come back to one another no matter if it was the end the world. She was his home, his heart, his jackpot.
As Annabeth made her way towards the Argo II familiar faces like Leo, Piper, Frank and Hazel all waved at Peter. He smiled and waved back; Annabeth's friends didn't know what to make of Peter when they had met him.
Annabeth had lost her boyfriend Percy Jackson in a war that she was still recovering from when her and Peter had met. To this day she never really talked about him with her only that she'd go out to see his family on his birthday, she never brought Peter. Compared to Percy, they all thought Peter was a normal mortal man and that the relationship would only last a few months. However, through end of the world threats, Tartarus coming to the mortal world, Spider- Islands, and secret identity reveals they had made it 3 years together.
Annabeth boarded the Argo II and gave a smile to her boyfriend that made Peters heart melt. That smile that told him everything would be okay and that she'd come back to him, she'd always come back to him. No matter if the gods tried to break them apart, she'd find her way back to him.
As the Argo II made its way up into the clouds above New York City Peter whispered to none but himself. "Go get em tiger."
