'Are you alright? How much damage did that bear do?'

"Wha- oh, yeah...yeah I am. I just need a moment."

'We've been sitting here for the past five minutes.'

At those words, I leaned my back against the hard surface of the boulder behind me. After I finished off the remaining bears, I needed someplace quiet to clear my head, and this seemed to be the perfect spot. It was sitting right next to a lake and near a forest.

"It's just that...well, you know how I feel about killing."

'They were animals, nothing more. We did what we had to do. It's not like they were human beings.'

"I know, I know. I just can't help but think if there was something else I could've done..."

'Like what?'

"I don't know. Maybe we could've relocated them."

'If we had let them go they would have killed more people. They're animals. Kill, eat, and reproduce - that's all they know. They're not people we can just hand over to the authorities. Let's say we did relocate them somewhere else. How long do you think it'll take before a travelling merchant comes across them and gets mauled to death? Or a travelling family? Just because we put them someplace else doesn't mean they change their nature. They're still animals, whether you like it or not.'

"Well, when you put it like that..."

'You have to get used to killing soon, especially if you're going to fight him...'

"Fight who?"

'The Demon King. His name is Carn-'

"Explosion!"

Venom was abruptly interrupted by a loud feminine voice ringing through the air. It was shortly followed by the lake behind us blowing up in a fiery explosion.

"What the hell?!"

How the hell does a lake explode?!

The boulder behind us was shattered by the force of the explosion, sending me and Venom flying through the air. I quickly activated my metallic spider suit and used it's spider legs to protect myself. The legs did it's job in cushioning the blow and even caught me before I hit the ground. I quickly got up and looked around for whoever created the explosion but only saw a rising cloud of smoke in the shape of a mushroom.

"What the hell was that?!"

'We need to get out of here. Whatever attacked us might come back to finish the job.'

"Alright, but who's Carn?"

'I'll tell you soon, but for now we need hurry back towards the guild before they return.'

"You're right. We'll talk later."

Firing my web shooters towards the nearby trees, I swung towards Axel as fast as I could. As I neared the edge of the forest, I jumped down from a branch and took off my metal suit-

'Why did you take off your suit? We're not inside Axel yet. Taking it off makes us vulnerable to whoever attacked us.'

"Yeah, but I don't want people to find out about it."

'Why not?'

"It's just that...I really want to keep me being Spider-Man a secret, y'know."

'Why? No one here wants to do us any harm.'

"And what about whoever attacked us earlier?"

'Fair enough. But know that we will have to reveal Spider-Man to them one day. We can't hide it forever'

"Yeah, yeah. Let's just go back to the guild. We still need to tell them we completed the quest."

And to find out who attacked us...

We haven't even met anyone here apart from the cashier from earlier, Luna at the guild, and that old man driving a carriage. Is there any reason one of them would want to kill us? Was it the old man? He did have a weird mustache...how did they blow up the lake without that tingling feeling going off until the last moment? There was a shout...I'm gonna find out who that voice belonged to later.

We walked in silence up until we got to the gate until. Venom's head sprouted from my shoulder once more.

'We need to keep my existence a secret'

"What? Why?"

'I have a lot of enemies here.'

"But I thought you just arrived here with me."

'Remember what I said to you earlier? My kind choose our hosts. An enemy of mine bonded with someone in this world, and if he find out I'm here, he will do everything in his power to find us...and kill us.'

"Are you talking about that Carn guy you were talking about earlier?"

'Yes. His name is Carnage and he is far stronger than both of us.'

"Jeez. Are all you symbiotes in a secret goth club or something? Venom, Carnage, next you're going to tell me you know someone named Agony"

'...'

"No way. You actually have someone called-"

'Just make sure no one finds out about me.'

"Hey, wait! You have to tell me more about your names! Are there more? Is there one named Scream? What about Pyro? Hey!"

Needless to say, he didn't talk to me for the rest of the walk.

I reached the guild in less than a minute and opened it's doors.

"Um...Hello? I'm here to turn over my quest."

I called out to the cashier at the guild.

She looked up from a piece of paper she was holding and smiles.

"Ah! Peter-san! Welcome back! May I see your adventurer card please?"

"Oh, uh, sure!"

Peter-san? Did she just add -san at the end of my name? I'll ask her about it later.

I handed her my adventurer card and she began looking through it.

"Well, it seems you completed the quest. Congratulations, Peter-san. You managed to complete a high level quest as your first quest! We expect great things from you!"

"Nice."

"Looks like we have another one on their way to become a legend."

"Oi! Dust! You owe me 1,500 eris!"

"Though he doesn't look anything like the others from Japan..."

This was embarrassing. I never wanted or had the spotlight. What do I do? Think! This is out of my league! Unfortunately the counter lady either didn't see my discomfort or didn't care as she continued on.

"Though, you're in a pretty bad shape, did you get hit by those bears?"

She was staring at a bruise on my face.

It was probably from the boulder earlier. The bears hit my torso, not my face.

"Hmm? Oh these? Funny story, actually. I was sitting behind a large boulder after I killed the bears when the lake behind me suddenly exploded. Do you know what happened by any chance?"

The guild immediately became quiet with the group at the back stiffening up.

"Did you hear a voice?"

"Yes, actually. I'm pretty sure a girl shouted "Explosion" before the lake blew up."

Almost simultaneously, every head in the guild turned to look at the crimson eyed girl in the back as she pulled her hat down to cover her face...poor girl.

"I see...there is only one mage here that could summon an explosion spell. Would you like to file a complaint against her?"

I looked back at the girl who hid her face from the gazes of the other people in the room and immediately felt sorry for her.

"N-no need, it wasn't that bad."

"Are you sure?"

"Yep! I'm sure"

"Alright then, here is your reward: 50,000 eris."

"Thank you!"

"Oh! Before you leave did you find anything about your new class?"

I thought back to what Venom said earlier...

.

We need to keep my existence a secret.

I have a lot of enemies here.

He will do everything in his power to find us...and kill us.

His name is Carnage and he is far stronger than both of us..

.

"No. Not yet. I'll let you be the first to know if I find anything!"

"Oh...alright then, I'll see you later, Peter-san!"

"See ya!"

I walked out of the guild with the bag of eris coins and walked into a deserted alley as I pondered what to do next.

"Alright. So, now I have 50,000 eris, combined with the money Eris gave me, it adds up to 70,000 eris. I wonder what I should spend them on."

'We should spend them on essential things.'

Venom's head suddenly appeared from my shoulder.

"Oh, you're talking to me again? Perfect. Can you tell me more of your names? Is there one named slasher?"

'Really?'

"I'm just curious."

'*sigh* Have you even thought about where we shall sleep, and what we will wear?'

"Umm..."

'I expected as much.'

"Do you have a plan?"

'Yes. We search the town for a tailor and buy some clothes, then we find an inn we can sleep in.'

"That's a pretty good plan."

'I know.'

I did exactly what Venom suggested and explored Axel, looking for shops and inns. Turns out there were plenty of tailoring shops around. I entered one and rang the bell.

"Ah, welcome to my humble shop."

The shop owner greeted me as soon as I entered. He was a short man, with a balding head and stubby fingers. He wore a blue shirt and what looks like silk pants. In his hand was a strange device.

"Hey there. Um...where can I buy some clothes?"

"Oh, right this way, sir."

He said while walking towards the room to his right. I followed suit and entered. In the middle of the room was stool surrounded by several piles of fabric and strange devices I didn't recognize.

"Please stand on the stool."

"Wait, I thought I was going to buy clothes?"

"Why, of course! I just need to know your body size before I make them."

"I see..."

I did as he asked and stood on top of the stool. The strange device from his hand suddenly floated towards my head before unfurling itself until it reached my feet. From this angle, I could see that it was a tape measure. The old man then produced a clipboard from under his jacket and began writing on it.

"177cm..., fit body..., muscular..., 75kg..."

"I'm sorry?"

"Oh, don't mind me. Just taking some notes."

The old man chuckled at me as his tape measure finished measuring me and went back into his hand.

"Now, then. What sort of clothes are you looking for?"

"Oh, um...nothing too fancy. Just a few normal ones."

"I see. Do you have anything in mind?"

"Well...I won't say no to a hoodie."

"A what?"

The old man looked up from his clipboard and looked at me in confusion.

Does this world not know what a hoodie is? Eris said they've been sending people here for a long time, did no one know what a hoodie is?

"A hoodie. You know, like a sweatshirt but with a hood attached to it."

"I see...this is the first time I've heard of this "Hoodie". Do you mind illustrating it for me?"

The old man handed me his pencil and clipboard. I took it from him and began sketching a hoodie. It didn't take long for me to finish. I handed it back to the old man who took a good long look at it before speaking.

"Well, this is...something else. I've never seen anything like it...I don't even know what I'm supposed to be looking at."

"Well, the bottom part is a shirt and the upper part is a hood that's attached to the shirt."

"Oh. I thought it was a spoon."

"Hey!"

"No worries. I'll get you outfitted faster than a minotaur eating a person."

Well, that's dark.

Several more minutes passed with the old man measuring several parts of my body and vigorously writing on his clipboard.

Suddenly, the old man straightened his back and caught his his floating measuring tape.

"Right, well, Mr...?"

"Parker."

"Right, Parker-san."

Again with the -san...

I wonder why they keep adding that to my name...In any case, the old man continued on.

"Unfortunately, due to your request being the first of it's kind, I can only make one as of now. However, I have several designs here which may interest you."

He handed me a catalogue with several sketches of my drawing each with different designs.

I picked the most normal looking one, and by normal, I mean one that's closest to my clothes back in Queens.

I handed the catalogue back to the old man and waited.

"Good choice, sir. Now, If you'll wait a bit outside, I shall begin sewing your clothes."

I did as he asked and exited the room. Sitting down on a nearby bench, I looked around the store. Weirdly enough, it was still empty even though it was already late in the afternoon.

"So, Venom..."

'Yes?'

Venom's head sprouted from my shoulder.

Man, it still feels weird having a head come out of your body.

"Now that we have two million eris, what do you think we should do with it?"

'We should spend them on essential things such as food, water, and shelter. Everything else should be a second priority."

"You don't have to tell me twice. Although, I was planning on buying a few more sets of clothing after we get my hoodie."

'And how are we supposed to carry all those extra clothes?'

"I'll just buy a bag. I've got seventy thousand eris now, I'm pretty sure I can afford it."

'I suppose...'

"How much do you think it'll cost?"

"The hoodie or the bag?"

'Both.'

'Probably around five hundred to five thousand eris.'

"That expensive?."

'You'd be surprised how expensive things are-'

All of a sudden, the door leading to the measuring room creaked open. Venom's head quickly retreated back into my body as the old man shuffled into the room holding what looks to be a red rag.

"Um, excuse me. Do you have any spare bags I can buy?"

I asked the old man as he set down the rag on the seat next to me.

For some reason, the old man smiled widely when I asked the question.

"As a matter of fact, I do! It's right over here."

He proceeded to walk towards a nearby cabinet and take out what seems to be a backpack made out of leather.

"This "hoodie" of yours will cost ten thousand eris and this bag five and a half."

Fifteen and a half thousand eris?! Just for hoodie and a shoulder bag?! What the hell? That bag looks like it costs less than fifteen dollars!

"Fifteen and a half thousand eris?"

"Yep. Your hoodie is the first of it's kind, which makes it quite expensive. And this bag is one of my most valuable items."

The old man lifted up the bag and set it right next to the rag.

The bag's colors were faded and had several threads poking out. Judging from the damage, this bag has got to be over a decade old. No wonder it's expensive. It must be an antique.

"Do you have anything less expensive?"

"Sorry, but no. This is the only bag I have. It's also my most valuable."

"Fine. Here's the money."

I halfheartedly gave him fifteen and a half thousand eris.

Now all that's left to do is wait for my hoodie so I can leave this place.

"Where's my hoodie?"

"Right there."

The old man pointed to the red rag on the seat.

No. No fucking way.

I picked it up and unfurled it. Lo and behold, it was a red shirt with a hood poorly stitched to it's neck. The shirt had several torn strings hanging out of it along with two small holes to it's torso.

"What the hell is this?! I'm sorry, but I want my money back"

"Sorry sir, but no refunds."

The old man signaled to right. I looked over and saw a sign hidden behind two paintings. On it was "NO REFUNDS" written in bold text.

"You...!"

"Thank you for buying my products. Please come again soon!"

The old man called after me as I left his shop.

This has got to be the worst deal in the history. Fifteen thousand eris. I lost over fifteen thousand eris for an old bag and a poorly made hoodie.

I was about to go into another deserted alley to discuss this with Venom when a voice suddenly called out to me.

"Hey, did you just buy clothes from that shop?"

I turned my head and saw a random guy walking towards me.

"Uh, yeah, why?"

"Don't you know? That guy's a hack. He makes the worst clothes here in Axel. And don't even get me started on his prices. He once tried to sell me a scarf for a thirty thousand eris. Thirty thousand for a scarf full of holes and infested with bugs. You're better off buying clothes from any other tailor here in Axel."

Di-did I just lose fifteen thousand eris to a hack?

"How come he's still in business if people don't buy his clothes?"

"Oh, he has the advantage of being the closest to the gate. Each time someone from a different town visit Axel, his shop will be the first thing they see which makes it easy for him to fool tourists into buying his stuff."

"And no one's reported him to the authorities yet?"

"Oh, he's already been reported plenty of times. People that bought his stuff complained to the authorities every chance they get. Unfortunately for them, each time the police launch an investigation, evidence against him conveniently disappears and those who press charges against him always backs down so he always gets away scot-free."

"How long has he been doing this?"

"He's been doing it ever since he arrived here in Axel. Apparently, he works for a noble named Alderp."

"Alderp?"

"He's a powerful noble that governs over Axel. He's also known to marry any woman he likes through force, then splitting up with them when he gets tired of their company."

"Right..."

I have no idea who this Alderp guy is. Although, from the way this guy describes him, he sounds like a horrible individual.

"Well, I've kept you for long enough. You should probably ."

"Before you go, do you know of any places I can stay at?"

"Hmm? Oh, yeah. There's an inn several blocks to the right. Or, if you don't have the money, the stables are right around the corner."

"Thanks,...?"

"My name's Taylor."

"Thanks, Taylor."

"No problem. See you soon!"

Man, what a nice guy. I wish I met him before I went into that shop.

I quick put on the ruined backpack on my shoulder and followed his directions.

Night had already fallen by the time I reached the inn Taylor told me about. In front of the inn was a sign that had a picture of what looks like a woman with pink skin sitting in a...suggestive pose.

I entered the inn and walked towards the counter.

The counter man put down the book he was reading and greeted me.

"Welcome to the succubus inn, how may I help you?"

"Um...hello there. I would like to spend the night here, please."

"Oh! Of course the payment will be 2000 eris."

"Here."

I reached into my backpack and took out the exact amount I needed.

I gave all of it to the man who, in turn, gave me a set of keys.

"Enjoy your stay, and please, try not to get any of your "things" on the sheets. It's quite hard to clean them."

"Uh...thanks?"

He handed me my keys as I walked upstairs towards my room. I reached the room with the same numbers as the keys in my hand and immediately went inside. I closed the door behind me, locked the windows and closed the blinds. I didn't even take of my shoes as I jumped onto my bed and set my backpack on a nearby nightstand.

"*yawn* Good night, Venom."

'Good night, Peter.'

I could have sworn I heard someone, or something, knocking on my windows but decided to ignore it. It must've been the wind knocking on the window.

I blacked out as soon as I finished that thought.

Morning came a hell of a lot sooner than I wanted, with the rays of the sun shining in my face. I sat up in my bed rubbing my eyes and stretched my body

"Ah...that was a good sleep"

'Indeed.'

"Anyway, what should we do for today?"

'We have enough money to last us a few more days. I say we eat breakfast first, then we go take a bath, and finally we explore this town some more.'

"Alright then! Let's go and get our breakfast!"

I stood up a bit too quickly as my legs refused to move and immediately gave in beneath me causing me to trip and hit my head on the floor.

"Ow..."

'Heh.'

"Oh, shut up..."

I muttered as I stood up slowly letting my legs get some feeling back before walking down the stairs.

The counter man was waiting for me at the lobby.

"Good morning sir. How was your night here?"

"It was great! Here's the keys."

"Glad to here. I hope to see you again soon."

I waved goodbye to the counter man as I exited the building.

Despite it being early in the morning, people were already crowding the streets, going about their business.

When I first entered the guild, I was greeted by a waitress. I wonder if they serve food there...

I made my way towards the guild and entered. Unlike the first time I got here, the guild was now full of people loudly talking amongst each other.

I spotted an empty seat in the corner and decided to sit there.

A waitress spotted me and promptly walked over.

"Hello there sir, would you like to order some food?"

"Oh, uh...sure. What do you have?"

The waitress then handed me a menu. I opened it and...what are these? Blood Steak? Neroid Swish? Smoked-lizard steak? Smoked -lizard hamburger steak? Crimson Neroid? What are these? I flipped the page and, thankfully, there were vegetable sticks on the menu.

"I'd like some vegetable sticks please"

"Each of them cost a thousand eris."

"I'd like two please"

"Just two? I mean, of course."

The waiter left for my food as I thought about what I'm gonna do now...I couldn't talk to Venom here since there was too many people around.

After I take a bath, I wonder where I should go...

Maybe I'll pay a visit to that shop I saw when I arrived here. I'm pretty sure it's name was something along the lines of "Wiz's magical shop".

My food arrived after a short while. I quickly finished it and paid the waiter the correct amount of money before leaving to go find a shower. I was walking on a deserted pathway when Venom spoke up.

'There was a sign pointing towards a public bathroom to our left.'

"Thanks...so, are you gonna, like, detach from me?"

'Why?'

"I'm gonna take a bath. You don't expect us to take a bath together right?"

'We don't have much of a choice. We cannot separate ourselves from each other.'

"This is gonna be so awkward."

Following the signs, we arrived at a building with a sign in front which read: Public Bathhouse.

I entered the building and hesitantly took off my clothes. This was the first time I was going to use a public bath. There was a towel on the side which I wrapped around my midsection as I headed towards the bathing area...

C'mon, Parker. Don't think about bathing with a weird black dude inside of you...wait, no. That wasn't supposed to come out that way.

…after I finished taking a bath, I put on my hoodie and exited the bathhouse.

"Man, that was refreshing."

'Good, now we explore the city.'

And explore it we did. Turns out this city was a lot bigger than I previously thought. There were multiple restaurants, inns, graveyards, churches, and shops.

I eventually made my way to Wiz's magic shop and went inside.

The shop seemed to be empty as there was no one sight.

"Hello?"

A head suddenly popped up from behind the counter. It was the same woman from yesterday.

"Oh! Welcome to Wiz's magical Item Shop how may I help you?"

"I was just passing through and thought I'd take look."

"Great! We just had our latest stock come in. They're on the shelves to your left."

"Thanks!"

The shelves behind me was stocked with what looks like potion bottles you'd see in a game, which at this point doesn't even surprise me anymore. I reached towards the first one and picked it up.

"Ah, that'll explode upon impact, so please be careful."

I quickly put it back on the shelf. Who the hell puts live grenades on a shelf? What if it falls?

I reached for the bottle beside it...

"Ah, that one will explode if you open the cap, so…"

I had no words as I put it back as gently as possible and just pointed to the one next to it.

"What about this one?"

"It'll explode when it touches water."

So...Alkali

"… How about that one?"

"It explodes when heated…"

"Does this shop only sell explosives?"

"No, that shelf just happens to hold explosives"

"Oh, how much does one of them cost?"

"Each bottle cost 10,000 eris each"

"Why is it so expensive?"

"The ingredients used in making it are extremely rare!"

"I see..."

"Yes. Do you want to buy them?"

"Oh no! Sorry but I don't have enough money on me. I was just looking."

"That's alright, be sure to come around here again!"

"Don't worry, I will!"

I left the shop without buying anything and continued walking. I was walking back towards the guild to eat lunch when a loud voice suddenly called out.

"Emergency quest! Emergency quest! All adventurers in town, please gather at the adventurer's guild! I repeat, emergency quest! Emergency quest! All adventurers in town, please gather at the adventurer's guild!"

Emergency? What happened? I ran as fast as I could towards the entrance of the guild and burst inside. A crowd of what I can only assume as adventurers was gathered around a lady. Looking around me, I can see that everyone here was...cheerful? Why are they happy? I thought this was an emergency? I stood next to an adventurer wearing green clothes and a girl in blue clothes. I was about to ask them what was going on when a staff member suddenly called out...

"I apologize for gathering everyone on such a short notice! I'm sure everyone knows that the emergency is because of the cabbages! It's time to harvest cabbages! The quality's great this year and each one's worth 10,000 eris! We've already evacuated the residents so please harvest more cabbages and turn them in here! Please take care of your own safety and don't get hurt from the cabbages' counterattack! Also, because of the large amount of people and bounty, the reward will be given out later!"

Cabbages. Harvesting cabbages. This was the emergency?

A stream of cheers from everyone, both inside and outside the building, erupted.

Everyone quickly ran out of the door and into the streets.

I had nothing else to do so I followed them. Maybe I can even harvest a few cabbages along the way.

I followed them all the way outside the wall before they all stopped and stared over the horizon.

They were staring at the distance where a green mist was starting to for- Wait. Are those cabbages? Are- are they flying?

"The cabbages in this world can fly. When their taste ripens during harvest season, they fly through cities, over plains, across the continent and to the ocean, unwilling to be eaten. Because of that, we need to catch the cabbages and eat them while they're still delicious."

The girl wearing blue from earlier explained to her friend - the boy with a green cape. I didn't pay much attention to her as I watched with the sight before me in awe.

As the other adventurers yelled as they rushed to attacked the cabbages, I heard the green guy mumble under his breath.

"May I go back to the stables and sleep?"

Same...

I rushed forward to join the other adventurers in 'Harvesting' the cabbages when a thought suddenly crossed my mind - How am I supposed to catch them? It seems everyone here brought some kind of container with them, except for me. Some had cages, some had nets, some even used blankets and curtains. But me? All I had was the crappy backpack I got from the just-as-crappy old man...unless I used my webs.

Looking around me, everyone was preoccupied with the cabbages to notice me. Maybe I can slip into my nanotech spider armor without anyone notici-

"Hey! What are you doing just standing around?!"

"Sorry!"

An adventurer suddenly shouted at me as he caught a flying cabbage that was heading my way.

Yeah, no. There's too many people out here for me to change costumes...but what if I don't have to change costumes? Maybe I can use my webs. No, that'll draw too much attention...unless I tell them that it was simply part of my unique class! Yeah, that can work!

I willed my metallic spider suit to form only the webshooters around my wrists as I jumped into the air, punching a cabbage before using my web shooter to web it up into a ball. Switching my webbing from normal webs to web grenades, I fired it into the sky where it exploded trapping multiple cabbages...

"What the hell is this?!"

"It's so sticky!"

"Oh, Eris! Please tell me this isn't what I think it is!"

…and a few adventurers in the process. Yikes! I quickly switched my webs back to normal and created a net made out of webbing as I began picking up the cabbages I had trapped with my web grenade and threw them in. I continued grabbing cabbages out of the air using a combination of my webs, sticky hands and speed until the net was completely full...

"So that's what your new class does?"

"Yep. Pretty much"

We had finished capturing the cabbages and, after apologizing to the adventurers I had accidentally hit with my webbing, turned them over to the guild staff. The counter lady then called me over to talk about my webbings. I told her it was simply part of my new class.

"If there are any other improvements, please return here immediately. We must record the abilities of your new class in case someone else manages to get the same class."

"Of course."

I felt a bit bad about lying to her, but this was for the best.

"On that note, Peter-san, your reward for the cabbage hunt is two million, four hundred and eighty thousand, seven hundred and ten Eris."

There was no way my eyes could have gone larger than that moment. Two million? Over cabbages?! I was a millionaire and I've only been here for two days!

"Would you like us to put it in your bank?"

"Y-yes, please do."

Two million...I don't even have to worry about money anymore. I can focus on trying to find a place I can stay at permanently! I walked towards the nearest table and picked up the menu. I could afford everything here. And with my enhanced metabolism, I needed every bit food I can get. I decided to buy a Blood Steak and a Neroid Swish, Blood Steak sounded disgusting, but who knows? Maybe it's actually delicious, the same goes for the Neroid Swish.

Soon the food was in front of me and the smell was just heavenly. The Neroid Swish looked like mountain dew just less...bubbly, there wasn't any smell of alcohol in it neither. I drank it carefully and the feeling was...weird. It wasn't bad by any means, just...weird. I decided to try out the Blood Steak and, wow. This was the most best thing I've ever tasted.

Back in Queens, Flash kept bragging about eating at five star restaurants every other day, but I have a feeling not even they can compete against this. I finished my meal in record time and left the guild, satisfied.

The sun began to set as I walked back to the same inn I slept at yesterday.

"Hey! Can I get a room please?"

"Ah! The same as last night?"

"Yes, please."

"Very well, then. Here's the keys to your room. You already know where to go."

"Thanks!"

I took the keys from the counter man and headed up to my room. I proceeded to lock everything inside the room before laying down in my bed.

I suddenly felt a familiar feeling on my shoulder as Venom's head materialized.

'So, what do plan on doing tomorrow?'

"Honestly, I have no idea. We have enough money to last a lifetime so questing is out of the question. I kinda want to go on patrol tomorrow, though the buildings here are fairly low. I don't think I can swing on them."

'How about we practice?'

"Practice what?"

'Plenty of things. Our skills, for one. Not to mention that divine relic of yours.'

"Hm...but where are gonna practice?"

'We'll ask that Luna girl at the guild tomorrow. Just tell her you want to practice your new class.'

"Right, well. I'll try that. but for now, I'm gonna go to sleep."

And with that, I closed my eyes and ended another day...
